The decoration of the cement wind is very modern, the layout of the hotel is also very good, the price of 1350 one night is very high in the vicinity of Beverly, the farmers market opposite the hotel is very convenient, the cinema is also very good, saw two games, Hollywood past There is a resort fee and there is no hint that it is very grateful to Ctrip to make up the difference. The parking fee of 35 knives a night is not worth it. It is really no time. The American cherries are too free to realize.

Renovated mid century modern rooms. Great bathrooms, clean and comfortable beds. Nice linens. Restaurant on premises currently closed due to Covid. Convenient location and covered indoor parking. Walking ( although nobody in LA walks) distance to Fairfax Farmers Market.

I booked a room with two double/king beds for two nights for myself and teenage son. The rate was fantastic compared to others in the area and has the benefit of including a basic breakfast, think bagels, cereal, muffins, pastries, bananas, fresh juice and tea/coffee. The tea and coffee is available all day. The breakfast is served in a spacious dining area from 7-10 and this is connected to an equally spacious sitting area with a small office/computer area. We also spotted to outdoor seating areas. The bedroom itself was on the ground floor and was very spacious and clean, the biggest of the three hotels we stayed in in L.A and the surrounding area. The front desk was always manned whenever we passed and the gentleman manning it were both very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is more than a basic motel but without the amenities and price tag of a chain hotel. Perfect for those who need a clean, safe base in a friendly environment. We spotted a subway and McDonald’s within a few minutes walk and an IHOP 5 minutes away. We walked to the Original Farmers Market in 10-15 minutes and Lacma and the La Brea Tar pits and Peterson museum are all within 5-10 minutes. Wiltshire is a great area for public transport buses to Beverly Hills, UCLA and Santa Monica. It’s all on one route. We got an Uber to Hollywood Boulevard for $7 and this took less than 10 minutes. I saw plenty of joggers going up and down Wilshire Boulevard and this can be linked to include Pan Pacific park for an extended jog. I choose hotels carefully when travelling alone with my children and this one did not disappoint. We would definitely return if staying in the area again.

I booked this when my scheduled conference was cancelled and I decided to come to LA anyway since I couldn't get an airline refund. Brigid was very nice through the booking and check-in process and also helped me get the best deal available - much less than advertised on the travel sites. The day I got there is the day that everything in LA started to shut down. The staff was very understanding and even tried to help me find places to eat and places that were not closed. Because of the shutdowns, we decided to cut our stay short and only stayed 3 nights instead of 5. The staff was very accomodating and refunded us the difference. The rooms are not fancy but they are very clean and had excellent Wifi. Note that there is a lot of renovation going on and the hallway noise from that was rather loud. The hallways and bottom level wnere the parking garage is are rather dingy but the room itself was fine. Bed was comfortable too. Because of the shutdowns and the terrible weather, we couldn't enjoy the neighborhood very much but it is an easy safe walk to numerous restaurants and the Grove.

Not a bad place to stay if you’re just there for short term. Not a lot of restaurants close by although the Grove is a few blocks which has some nice places to eat and shop. Literally across the street from CBS studios. Beds clean previous comments have been about the thin pillows yes they are very thin the bathroom was clean the floor you could tell a lot of guested stayed there but still it was good value for the money.

The bar tender at the AC hotel completely changed my view of the hotel. He made excellent drinks and made great conversation. I was ready to write a bad review of this hotel until I came up here. I would definitely come back here for the custom service. Mel was an excellent bartender, informative and friendly. Exactly what someone is looking for, while on vacation.

I travel a metric boat load all over and use IHG exclusively. I was introduced to the Kimpton brand during the acquisition some years back. I’ve been an avid fan ever since. Any chance I get to stay at a Kimpton property is seized upon with enthusiasm. This property is compact. It does try very hard to fulfill the broad Kimpton palette. Staff were always polite and efficient. The social password netted me a nice goody bag. Thanks for that! The Spire level got me the Santa Monica suite at a regular room rate. The lobby is small. The two elevators are likewise small. I’m a stout fellow of six foot and 250 pounds and broad shoulders. I had to enter sideways to ride those cars. The second floor breakfast area is small — but the spread that is put out is rather decent for the fourteen dollars they charged. The social password got me a comp’d breakfast. The suite was nice and payed out well. The absence of an ice machine is a little odd. Bagged ice does feel somewhat downmarket. I’m sure it’s not the first time you’ve heard that comment. Decor is well kept-up and the carpets on my floor must have been freshly vacuumed, because there was the most lovely lavender scent wafting through those halls. The shower was huge. Space for a quartet to sing in. The toiletries are always a nice collection. The bed was a delight - soft and cushy. Slept well. The location was good for a morning run too. The LaBrea Tar Pita are just four blocks away. Should let you know that the area does have a lot of homeless around. Nobody too obnoxious bothered me on my wanderings. Valet is quick and efficient. If business brought me back to this side of LA — the Wilshire would make the short list despite the small footprint.

We have stayed at the Elan a number of times now, and it has become our hotel of choice when we need to be in that part of LA. It's convenient to many places. On this trip we stayed for 5 nights, and enjoyed being there The lobby is pleasant if not extravagant (but who really needs extravagant?), the rooms are quite comfortable, and well designed The staff is terrific, friendly and helpful The morning breakfast is more than adequate, and the afternoon wine and cheese is just right Valet parking is very convenient, altho for most of our trips Uber/Lyft work pretty well We highly recommend the Elan

Checked in and we were taken to a room with the smell in overwhelming marijuana smoke. The room was filthy - there was cigarette/marijuana ash on the sofa arm, chewed gum spit on the floor and pieces of marijuana on the dirty bench at the end of the bed. There was an eye dropper and trash in the hallway that remained in the same place for two days. The pool was out of control with competing music playing and people smoking marijuana with the staff completely ignoring the issue. There is apparently no security and there are late night parties with door slamming and loud people in the hallways. According “Roberto” from in-room dining, ice delivery is contingent on and prioritized by guests that “pay and tip.” Very rude staff and I was advised by a manager that the hotel records guest calls, which is helpful to track conversations with rude staff. Housekeeping seems to be nonexistent as well as hotel management. When I asked for the General Managers name I was given the Executive Assistant. When I talked with a manager I was told that the lower rates at the hotel reflect the type of guests that were currently staying. This is a property in total distress.

I am giving it a 5/5, based solely as it is a listed budget option that I have searched for within my price range. Booked for a night. Got the first room up the stairs which is rather big and spacious to my surprise . I did feel abit unsafe at the initial as i ve noticed the " open concept" back entrance to the car parking is next to the stairs, but all is good as there are security cameras all around. Slept through the night without any problems. Room does look old and tired. Got my own toiletries as im not expecting anything fancy to be provided. used on the towels. The old man, who im assuming is the manager / owner does look cranky but otherwise he is quite nice and accommodating.

The male staff in the evening shift is very friendly, very patient, always smiling, and the service is very good! It rained outside and I also borrowed an umbrella for me. The room was great, my room was on the top floor, there was a balcony in the room and the bed was very comfortable! The location is very good, just in the city center, to various attractions, shopping and shopping, the surrounding restaurants are very convenient, it should be the best hotel I have ever stayed on this trip! If you have the chance to go to Berlin again, you have to choose this hotel!

I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms were impeccably clean, the decor was really fun, and the staff is so courteous and helpful. I checked in with the help of Juan late one night and he was so accommodating and efficient! The entire staff was very friendly -- from the cleaning people, to those working in the cafe, to the front desk staff. My dinner at the cafe was delicious. There are little nooks throughout the hotel that are great for working. What a nice surprise this hotel was!!

Amy Bloch, the Concierge, contacted us about 2 weeks before our arrival asking if there was anything she could do for us either setting up any tours, restaurant suggestions and reservations or anything we might need. After asking for suggestions on restaurants she did send me quite a selection of different types of restaurants along with things to do around Hollywood and Los Angeles. When my friend and I arrived Amy greeted us at the front desk, welcoming us to the Roosevelt Hotel. The entire staff from the front desk, the guys at the valet parking, housekeeping and room service were outstanding. They couldn't do enough for us. Everyone at the hotel, especially Amy made our stay simply fantastic. The Roosevelt Hotel is the only place we would stay in Hollywood.

Downtown Los Angeles
It's a big place like Los Angeles, and the room is so small, I feel drunk too. It is too small to open the luggage, which is inconvenient to open. I specifically explained that I want a quiet room. The garbage truck on the street started to pull garbage less than 5:00 in the morning. The staff talked. I thought the window was not closed. As a result, there was no window for you to open. It was just a piece of glass with light. Just come in. A small refrigerator, placed on a shelf, but not in a cabinet. There is nothing in the refrigerator, but it is plugged in, and the operation noise is noisy all night. It will collapse when you live one day. No one will help you. Carry luggage. No one asks if you need help. Is this still Los Angeles I know? The beds are ok, moderately hard and soft. The location is good. It is convenient to walk everywhere, and around breakfast. Walking on HIlls street towards 3rd street, everything is there. May not stay here next time, unless there is no choice.

Los Angeles International Airport Area
Because of the proximity to the airport, the sound of the plane taking off and landing has never stopped, quiet is not enough, and I can sleep. The hotel room did not actively provide slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste. It was okay to call to ask the housekeeping to arrive. The bathtub has no glass door, just a plastic shower curtain. The shower faucet is fixed to the wall. There is a free shuttle to the airport 24 hours. The driver also helped to carry luggage up and down. The service was good.

My family has been using the Anza hotel for all of our trips to the Calabasas/LA area for the past 4 years or so, and we love it here. I hope we can continue to rely on the Anza for years to come. Beautiful rooms, superb location, and best of all they allow pets! The prices for rooms are very reasonable and they all have a nice "boutique feel" to them which adds something special. I want to add an extra note about my last stay here, which took place during the first days of the Covid-19 outbreak. I traveled alone without my husband and child to Calabasas/California because I needed to be with a gravely ill parent who soon passed away. Being able to stay in a comfortable hotel during this awful period was such a comfort to me, and I want to add that Ryan, who works at the Bistro restaurant and bar, was especially great to me during this time. Ryan prepared delicious meals for me, got to know me and my love for an evening glass of wine right away, and was a warm, friendly presence when I came home from the hospital at night (and in later days, came home to the hotel after days spent making final arrangements). Ryan and the team at the Anza who continued to work during the stressful days of Covid-19 "stay at home restrictions" were truly a blessing to me and I value, and am so grateful for, their work on the behalf of me and other guests who really needed a hotel stay for emergency reasons.

Everything was on point! All the staff were very accommodating! I arrived early Saturday and I was lucky to get a room early. Which helped a lot since we were on the go per our Soccer Tournament. When we needed a space to have our potluck in the evening they helped with our set up. Everyone was very friendly and customer service was amazing!
