|0.61km from city centerWe had a very comfortable stay in the Leckhampton Suite for 2 nights. From making the initial contact prior to booking, everything has been great and I can highly recommend these apartments. The apartment was presented in a luxurious but welcoming appearance. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and the continental breakfast was an added bonus. The bedding and towels were of a very high quality and we had great sleeps. So much so, we didn't want to go home. The town centre is 5 mins walk away and parking is available to the rear of the building. Will definitely stay here again.

Cheltenham
|0.55km from city centerThe hotel was nice, nothing especially remarkable to note. Staff were very polite & friendly, everything was clean & tidy. The location is ideal for exploring Cheltenham. We were given a complimentary room upgrade which was nice but feel there is much of a muchness between some of the room types. A little annoying that when buying a drink from the bar, some areas were closed so we had to sit in the reception area. Bar prices were very reasonable. We didn't eat in the hotel. Our only real gripe was the parking...arriving late afternoon on Saturday, the car park was full which was to be expected. A permit was organised to park on the street at a cost of £10. We later established the permits/ on street restrictions were only in place for a couple of hours of our stay. On questioning the cost, we were told it would allow us to park until midday the next day - it was free parking on Sunday anyway! This cost was removed from our bill.

Cheltenham
|0.35km from city centerIt is a very good hotel, the big lawn is facing the town hall at the entrance of the hotel, and the back door is a big park. There are many restaurants around and there are supermarkets within a 5-minute walk. The hotel room is very nice, clean and tidy. The hotel has a rich breakfast, English, omelette or cake. The front desk and service staff are very welcoming. The Cotswold attractions are all within a 30-40 minute drive from the hotel. In short, a very good stay experience.

|3.65km from city centerAll the staff were polite, helpful and always had a smile. We had a wheelchair accessible room, which had plenty of space, and the wet room had plenty of handles. There was no air conditioning, which was not a problem during our stay, but might be an issue in the Summer. Only problem was the restaurant. The breakfast choice was not bad, but the hot buffet was not always hot, and there seemed to be a wait for replenishment of items. The menu did not have a huge ammount of choice, and when we met up with friends, who have allergies various items were unavailable. To be fair, the chef was very good and produced an alternative that was not on the menu.

|0.24km from city centerLiked : Very modern, well maintained apartment. Helpful staff (on phone as the property reception is unmanned) who assisted with early check in request. Aircon was excellent. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Will return. Disliked · There was nothing not to like! Despite the top floor of the building being very warm, the aircon in the suite worked perfectly and was already on when I checked in. There was slight noise from adjoining suites, but this was minor. The property was excellent, thank you.

|3.28km from city centerStayed here for one night this weekend. Had such a lovely and memorable stay. My sister advised the hotel that it was my birthday and they really added the personal touch to make me feel special. Special thanks goes to Erin in the spa who was so lovely and welcoming, he is a real asset to your hotel. Our room was lovely overlooking the gardens. Great location to explore Cheltenham as only a short taxi ride away. We had a spa treatment and used the pool area which were all nice. All staff we spoke we were friendly and welcoming. The cookie on arrival is also a nice touch. I would definitely return to this hotel 😊

Cheltenham
|7.82km from city centerI was excited to go back after the refurbishment, having had a great time previously. We had to wait for the girl on the spa reception to finish her chat before acknowledging us. We were given some forms and told to take a seat. The spa was filled with children who were running riots. We were told when booking the arrival drink was tea or coffee, so we ordered a coffee and was told the coffee machine was broken so could only have herbal tea. So we were not off to a good start. Then off to get changed where the girl said there would be towels and flip flops already in the locker. Only one of us had a locker with this in. So we had to interrupt the receptionists chat to get those. The facilities have not been refurbished, and the steam room smelt so bad we couldn't bear to use it. Indoor pool is lovely, but it needs a bit of music or something. Cups and mugs and towels were left throughout the whole morning. Treatments we had booked for the same time as per my confirmation. We sat waiting, two of my friends went through, and I sat there, so I asked and was told my treatment was 30 minutes later. I queried this, and she said the manager had moved it some time ago. There was an apology that I hadn't been informed but added to the already there frustration. The treatment itself was amazing, my therapist really listened to what I wanted and delivered(sorry I forgot your name, brown hair and glasses, but you really do deserve credit) in fact, all of us were blown away by the treatments. Although, you can hear absolutely everything from the treatment room. could hear the same girl from the desk, noise from the gym and every time someone opened the changing room. As this was a treat for a friend we did not make a fuss, we paid and went for lunch earlier than planned. We went through to the hotel, where the receptionist was busy looking at her mobile over helping us. We made our own way to the restaurant. I did absolutely love the decor in the main hotel and that felt as though it really transformed. Lunch was great, service was excellent. We didn't get any names, but everyone who served us was fabulous. Things were on the look up! We decided to stay in the bar and lounge area for our coffee, finally! We really eally enjoyed the atmosphere up there. Overall, I wouldn't go back to the spa, the expierience of the spa itself wasn't relaxing or luxury. I can't wait to go back for lunch.

|0.49km from city centerWe visited The Abbey Hotel at a time of immense stress having been displaced from our home due to flooding. What can we say, all the staff from front desk to housekeeping were fantastic! So warm, friendly and compassionate and not just paying lip service. The room was large and immaculately clean with beautiful quality bedding and towels, crisp and clean. Breakfast is a continental offering and everything is again of great quality and range of choice. Thank you to all of you who made a stressful time that little bit easier!!

Cheltenham
|0.69km from city centerFirst off it's really important to know that this hotel is actually a community enterprise and not just a hotel! So for a start - by staying here you are actually investing in disadvantaged groups in Cheltenham as well as having an impeccable nights stay. The room was a decent enough size and the bed was extremely comfortable. Two good sized windows meant it had plenty light. The bathroom and the room itsself were immaculate - it was obvious that cleaning was done regularly and properly. The decor is nice throughout the hotel and was a lovely place to stay and have breakfast. The breakfast was served promptly and the menu had good variety. I also asked Sam for some extras due to the nature of my stay and all of them were accommodated and at a reasonable price!!! All in all - it was a great stay and I would definitely book again. Keep it up!!!

Cheltenham
|0.37km from city centerThe biggest room we ever stayed in. It's a size of a studio apartment. One queen size bed and one double bunkers bed. The toilet is also huge for a hotel room. There's a flat TV set a sofa set. The room is also equipped with a small kitchen, sinky and a small fridge. Plates, glasses and cutlery are provided inside the cabinet. Check in and check out were smooth and easy. Friendly staff. Location is good. There's a nice Indian restaurant within walking distance, the briyani is to die for. Some of the downsides are: 1/ basement parking space is too tight for a normal size car. Big cars would have difficulty to park or even manoeuvre in basement parking area. We're allowed to park at the open back alley, reserved for the hotel customers. 2/ The queen size bed is squeaky. Perhaps the hotel could consider replacing it with a more solid bed frame. 3/ You have to climb up some stairs to check-in at the register counter. If you have lots of heavy luggage, it's going to be challenging to bring your bags up. Overall, love this hotel. Would stay again anytime.

Cheltenham
|20.82km from city centerThe hotel is in Lower Strauss, an old noble, elegant and rustic high-end hotel. The waiters are very good, the gentlemen are polite, and the hotel rooms are large and comfortable. Breakfast is a semi-buffet ➕ order, and the breakfast quality is excellent. For dinner, you need to book a seat with the restaurant in advance, and try to enter the restaurant in a formal dress. The price is not outrageous and the taste is acceptable. The small villages and towns surrounding the hotel are far more beautiful than the upper Strauss and Arlington townhouses, with few people and quiet, which are especially suitable for daze. This place is suitable for driving.

Cheltenham
|2.65km from city centerBecause the guest is 12 minutes away from the hotel, I chose this one. I have lived in other cities in the UK before, OK. This is the first time I have stayed in Cheltenham. The whole is OK. The only thing is that the toilet exhaust fan will make a sound. After the toilet wash tray is boiled and the water is washed, the water flows into the pipe and makes a sound, which is a bit scary.
The traffic is really inconvenient, only the city center of Cheltenham has a bus C to the hotel. It is convenient to buy a car, opposite a large outlet, WareHouse supermarket.
Restaurant burdock is good, but subdivided, HK$195, 10 ANZ.
I called Uber/Freehoe twice unavailable. Finally, I returned to the hotel to call the taxi. It was very convenient. I asked the local taxi driver and said that Cheltenham no Uber Support.

|1.48km from city centerOn arrival the bar staff took us upto the room to check that we were OK with staying! At 45 quid l3ss than an uber train or taxi I couldn't care less!!!! The locals that went to th3 pub were absolutely lovely, welcoming and gave loads of tips on Cheltenham! My advise is if you want 5 star accommodation then it's wrong for you however if you want a family friendly happy local that welcomes you then go see them! Yes it's not the ritz! Not even a travel lodge! BUT everyone was lovely it was totally safe! Couldn't care less that we had no window because the drinks were half the price of the city!!!! If you want a cheap friendly rest your head, next to the station pub then this is it!!!! We wanna come back and party with u all xx

Cheltenham
|0.32km from city centerBooked into this hotel for the night of the 15th August as it was the closest to where I needed to be on business for a couple of days. Wow! What a gem of a find! First Impressions of the hotel were very good everything looked at such a high Standard of cleanliness. I was welcomed to the hotel by such a lovely attentive girl on reception and allocated room “chateau Pesque” which I believe to be a deluxe room. Beautiful room, complete with everything you may need for a very comfortable stay and again the room has been serviced to a very high standard. Fantastic walk in monsoon shower and a roll top bath in the bedroom with L’occitane products which I do use at home and they are so lovely. The bed was so very comfortable and during this hot weather we have been experiencing the fully functioning Air Con in the room was a complete blessing. It was great to be able to control it myself as most hotels use a centrally controlled function. I definitely had a lovely nights sleep. The staff at the bar are so welcoming and there is a nice little terrace to sit at down the stairs from the bar. I ordered room service and chose the chicken Normandy which was absolutely delicious.” And cooked to perfection. The wifi worked perfectly and I was able to watch Netflix on the evening on my iPad without any buffering. The breakfast was beautiful, yes as others have said maybe a little costly at £18.50 but it’s quality and service for me and you certainly get what you pay for as the food is beautiful and lots of choice on the breakfast menu from a full English to grilled kippers plus you can also help yourself to the plentiful choices from their country table. I have been staying at up to 3 different hotels nationwide nearly every week for 7 years now in my current position , so I do think I’m more than qualified to say the Du Vin Cheltenham is up there in my list as one of the best I have personally experienced (and that’s been a fair few) It’s about the whole experience for me: the staff, the service, the food and cleanliness and comfort of this hotel and in my opinion the Du Vin has it all. I do not have any negatives to add at all. I do hope to experience this hotel again in the near future and would fully recommend to my colleagues friends and family. Thank you for a lovely stay.

|0.59km from city centerOn 15th September, I had a fabulous one night stay at this very modern hotel. Impressed by the design of the room and hotel and friendly, helpful staff. I was impressed by the Deputy manager Alina, Callum and Ester who put a lot of effort to help me connect my mobile to the wifi. Despite several attempts, my mobile couldnt connect but was still thankful to the staff for persisting and enjoyed my chat with them. Got great advice from Alina on managing staff :) Thanks to the General manager Ashan (apologies if i got your name wrong) as well for allowing us to check in earlier as i wasn' t feeling well. I enjoyed the breakfast and the range of food options on offer. I would recommend this hotel as its also close to shops and amenities. Take care Nards x

Cheltenham
|1.05km from city centerThis was by far the cheapest accommodation available on Hotels.com for the day of my visit to Cheltenham. Cheaper even than the local inns and well-known chain hotels. So I'm confused by the many negative reviews for the place from people expecting steak at burger prices. Yes, there are negatives. The room carpet sported several large stains of dubious origin, but that's perhaps inevitable when the breakfast is self-service and in-room. The wardrobe door handle came off, but was still usable. The electric shower sounded like a jet engine; could be a problem for some. Into nitpicking territory, the tv was small, relative to the size of the room. Guest parking is minimal, and Pittville Circus has double-yellows. Yes, there are positives. The room and bed were comfortable and warm. There's a bath and a shower; rooms in the budget price bracket don't often have both. Plenty of clean, matching towels and the usual toiletries. As well as the requisite tea/coffee/biscuits, there's also a cupboard containing a fridge, microwave, cutlery/crockery and enough cereal, pastries, juice, yogurts, tinned and fresh fruit to easily feed two at breakfast. The building retains many original architectural features. The place lands somewhere between an old-school seaside lodging house and Mr Bean's bedsit. Secure building/room access is via a code provided upon booking confirmation. I'd stay again. It's somewhere to sleep and at around £50 for the night, you shouldn't expect more than that.
