You pay little and receive little. This hotel, is not very far from the city center, with reference to the central square is about 20 minutes walking distance. The room is small, the bed (double) is really small and short even for a normal person, old and poorly maintained room, old and worn carpet floor, as well as dirty. Not necessarily an unrestored room must also be poorly maintained ! The photographs tell you everything. Please look at my pictures before booking !!! The bathroom is really lousy. No indication of sterilization between customers. Breakfast very poor in choices but, above all, of poor quality : better to put a few things but good than many but of low standard. It is clear that this is a hotel perhaps for young students without any pretense (although I think a youth hostel would certainly be better for them as well) rather than for couples or mature adults. Around the hotel there are many others, certainly more expensive, but at least more welcoming. Not recommended at all !!

We booked several rooms for a group and in general the hotel and the rooms looked amazing but sadly that was just the looks. The beds are way too soft, the lights are not working properly: you cannot turn on the lights in the bathroom if the lights in the room are not on. Plus the lights turn on and off whenever they like and without any reason. Sometimes you cannot just turn them on. The water is also like this: you either shower with boiling water or ice cold water, there is nothing in between. I would definitely not recommend this hotel and probably the three stars are like two…

Me and my friend chose this hotel for its handy location. Unfortunately sexist and aggressive staff ruined any hope of a pleasant stay. I was forced to leave the premises after breaking no rules when I returned home one evening where I was shouted at and talked down to. The following night the same receptionist opened the door into my female friends room at 2AM to evict her in the middle of the night for being “disrespectful” and threatening to call the police. When we expressed our concerns to management via email, we were told the events we described never occurred (even though a majority of crude gestures and aggression from the receptionist in question were on CCTV in the lobby) and threatened us with legal action for “defamation and slander”. The treatment of me and my friend was completely uncalled for and is an absolute embarrassment not only from an obnoxious and aggressive receptionist, but incompetent management who refused to explore the issue further and accused us of fabricating lies. Furthermore, the grimy floor of the shower, uncomfortable beds and paper thin walls didn’t make up for the lack of customer service.

Just come home from a short two night stay at the hotel and everything was positive. Reception was down a few steps but there's a lift down for anyone who struggles with step. Check in was smooth and took less than 2 minutes . The room was very nice two single beds spaced quite close but if you are staying with friends or family this isn't an issue. Bathroom was clean and large with a bath and shower shower gel and shampoo was supplied attached to the wall in the shower. Free water daily stocked into the room fridge and also free coffee for the coffee machine. The later check out of 12 was a bonus and the hotel are happy to store luggage should you be on an evening flight. The hotel has a nice bar and all staff are friendly . The only issue would be because its such a large hotel the lifts are always busy we had to walk down the stairs from the 10th floor a few times which is a lot of steps so anyone on a higher floor just be warned if you aren't too good at walking. The area around the hotel is pretty nice a bit like a business district but venture a few streets behind and it gets a bit grim and becomes a bit more shady just a warning to have your wits about you if going that way .

This hotel really does deserve a review. I travelled solo to Brussels for a weekend and was looking locally and finding hotels were really costly. I did some research and come across this hotel and was really impressed. The location is great, it’s right by Starbucks and Rogier Metro. Also it’s by the main high street full of zara, hnm and other stores which leads the the grand place and other tourist areas The hotel staff were friendly, polite and willing to help. It was clean and large with lots of space and tables. If you’re looking for a basic budget friendly hotel this is it. It’s inline with premier inn, ibis etc. It’s literally opposite the indigo and Hilton which was a lot higher in price. The room itself was a large and it was a big bed with fresh sheets. They had a large bathroom and provided you with soap, cotton buds and shower cap and fresh towels daily. Also a coffee machine with coffee, tea, sugar and I thought this was an extra touch not expected. Huge desk space if you’re there for work and it had abit go an Art Deco feel which I liked. There was a few things like marks on the wall and few stains on the carpet but not to the point it ruined the room or really was even that noticeable. It was also safe and the only way in and out was with a keycard. Staff were friendly as well, couldn’t fault them

Location was good, breakfast was good.Room, which not facing the main street was Ok.In the beginnig of our vacation we had a room facing main street. It was extremly noisy and hot.Hotel doesn”t have AC.So on the hot days you can”t even open the window because of noise. The reception people were very nice and very helpful for any question and problem.Especially I would like to thank Mercedes,Ettienne and Rashid. Somebody mentioned the pillows - I agree, time to change it. But overall it was Ok.

Playfully decorated hotel, a short-medium walk from the main square. Has a number of amenities downstairs which are done really well, although the layout is a little bit funky. Stayed as IHG diamond member on points redemption and was upgraded to a more spacious room, which was very nice. Check in staff were great. Quiet room with little noise from outside, comfortable bed and pleasant furniture layout/selection. Large water bottled provided on arrival (in room). Aircon and WIFI both worked great. The only reason I've rated this as 4 instead of 5 is the placement of the shower in my room was bizarre - it was on the wall at the side / corner of the bath instead of at the end of the bath like usual, which made showering a somewhat clumsy experience - but it worked nevertheless! The rest of the bathroom was great. I enjoyed my visit and would stay again for sure.

It is not recommended to stay, the stairs are particularly narrow, if you have a box, you can't lift it at all. Breakfast is basically the same as nothing. Do n’t believe it, just try bread and jam, or borrow a restaurant downstairs. I have seen this kind of breakfast for the first time in so many European countries. Definitely not recommended for you to live.

The hotel service is very good, and everyone is given cookies when they check in. The location is also very good, close to the subway station and shopping street. But the shower in the toilet is very easy to let the water overflow, it is a bit time-consuming to take care of. But the overall stay experience is very satisfactory~

I graduated from French hotel management. I have certain latitude requirements for services and facilities. The price is reasonable, the facilities are warm and meticulous. Many hotels in France do not provide shampoo and body lotion, but this one is available at the same price. The hotel is a public restroom and a bath room (because the two are separate in France), the waiter is very polite, the English is also good, the bus to the sights and the airport are well-informed, and also help you transfer the mark on the map, is Best choice

I spent a couple of nights in this hotel and to my surprise the atmosphere matches the (visual) story the website tells. It's a relief compared to many other hotels I've stayed in. It's almost as if you're in some classy exotic holiday hotel. The Botanic gardens right outside the hotel make up for the lack of atmosphere of the area... although the location very near the North train station is very convenient. The informally clothed staff are young, very friendly and energetic. The bar at the top floor of the hotel is a nice surprise! One of the Barista guys went out of his way to tell me about many details of the hotel and its philosophy, gave tips of where to go and what to see... all the while busy preparing mean coffees. (Scruffy beard, earring... Petey?) If you need to stay in Brussels for business (or pleasure of course) I can only imagine it must be a relief that some hotel chains do understand how to make you feel at home. (I'm regretting now not stealing the nice mug from the room!)

The budget hotel is the most for a night. From the downsides, it is heard when trams are riding, but after 11 p.m. they stop. And a heavily shattered furniture, but the bed was so soft that the rest didn't matter. Breakfast for money, coffee apparatus for money too is worth.

My partner and I have just come back after a new year break in Brussels. After reading the reviews we were a bit sceptical about the hotel but we had a really pleasant stay. The hotel is fine for what we needed it for-mainly to sleep after a long day exploring Brussels. The rooms were basic-yes, but clean and comfortable. The location is great, around a 15minute walk into the main square and a 5 minute walk to the nearest train station which we used to access the atomium. We didn't find the area to be uncomfortable, even when walking home on New Year's Eve at 1am. We booked as part of a Eurostar package and for the price we paid we were very happy. You get what you pay for! Can't comment on the breakfast as we didn't book as part of our package-there are lots of places in the centre to eat.

We stayed at this hotel from 24-27 September 2022 for my husband’s birthday weekend. The location is convenient, front desk staff are helpful and the breakfast is generous. However, 3/4 of my packet of cigarettes were pinched from a packet that was in my husband’s jacket pocket in the room while we went for breakfast and someone had tried to access the safe which resulted in it getting locked out. I wrote a similar review on booking.com who we booked the hotel through but the hotel clearly wants only good reviews and so this didn’t make it there.Rating to reflect the concerns around the stealing. Expect hotels to do through checks on their staff and make sure they don’t steal from guests.

We enjoyed our stay in this big apartment. Around 100 square metres. It had 2 bedrooms with big beds, very comfortable, many pillows. It's very clean. One of the rooms curtains was not great, but it was ok. And one of the doors creaked but that's a minor issue. The living room and kitchen are connected, feels very big, and a nice balcony attached. The even offer Netflix! They have a book with all the information about the apartment. The apartment includes a washing machine (no dryer) and even a dishwasher. The man who met us to introduce the apartment to us was very helpful and polite. It's not far from the Botanique subway station, even closer to a tram station but we didn't use the tram. When we go to Brussels again we will definitely stay here again.
