Stayed here last night (12.12.19) we arrived around 23.30. About 15mins wall from train station. It is inside another building to get to it, press buzzer and reception will let you in. Take the lift to 6 floor. Receptionist was a lady who was great full of smiles and information, we stayed in room 15 which was a small double, as you walk in tug walk in to a bathroom then the bedroom. It’s is very small my partner is quite a large chap (muscle wise) and he really struggled to use the shower I am around a size 12 and I struggled also as it is tiny but ok for a night. (Hope this helps) we forgot our adapter (which is a 3 prong one). So I went to reception and they kindly lent us one. Bed supper comfy. Breakfast gets delivered to the room at time of your choice and is choice of tea, coffee, hot choc. Orange juice 2 bread rolls each, butter, jam. On check out you can leave your suitcase there and pick up later. It’s in a handy part of town also, close to everything you need. I really enjoyed staying here 😊

This hotel is one in a chain of hotels around the best locations in the world. The hotel itself is i would say 2-3 star but location is 5 star. Situated around lake Geneva amidst the posh rue du Rhone, a millionaires playground. Superb shopping with worlds top brands but prices are way too expensive which is why one can call it a millionaires play ground. Conveniently located to trams, busses, super markets, posh restaurants you name it. The hotel ambience is decent, the lobby is tiny with a small sitting area and 2 small lifts accessing the rooms. We stayed in a suite, which comes with a kitchen with all amenities including oven, microwave, cooker utensils etc. A large sitting area with a dining table for 4 and 2 large TV's. One in the dining area and another in the bedroom area. The cleanliness and the products inside the room is of high standards. The toilet is quite large with rain shower. The room is enclosed area which can be closed and separated for privacy if you have guests visiting or you want to entertain them, when closed the room gives a feeling of tightness , there is a big openable door to the living area.We prefered to keep this door open so one we could get the feel of the suite. Service wise we did not experience much , as it was more like a self service place, we had to take our luggages up . Since we did not see any attendants we thought that there was no such service so we took our luggages upstairs. We were traveling light so it was okay for us. The People at the reception was nice and courteous and helped us to plan our tour around the city. All in all it was a pleasant experience . If you are looking for some privacy and doing your own thing then this is a nice place. Good accommodation in a excellent location.

We stayed in the Hotel des Armures for 7 nights in Aug 2020. I had been a guest at the hotel many times over the years while doing business in Geneva. After this experience, I will NEVER RETURN. The hotel had 2 credit cards on file for us. They took the liberty of charging our cards everyday and not crediting our bill. We actually had to present our online banking transactions for them to credit our account with funds they had already received days before. They were completely unapologetic for this and it happened on two different bills they presented to us. Further, they would call our room at all hours of the day demanding more money - when the bill was already current. On our final day, three different people called our room from the front desk demanding more payment. Mind you, the bills were current and they curiously could never remember which card they had charged. We had 9 different unauthorized transactions from the hotel on our card! We felt chased and harassed every time we walked in or out of the hotel. They would pull us aside and present more invoices that had been settled days before. On the last day, they called the room four times trying to collect more funds. My wife lost it when she was woken from her nap. She told them to figure out their billing and hung up the phone. Moments later, there was an aggressive knock at our door. I answered and was met by the Swiss owner, a French-Moroccan receptionist and a doorman. The owner was yelling me that this was a five star hotel and how could my wife be so upset. I promptly informed him that I felt threatened and we would be leaving immediately. I travel all over the world logging over 100,000 air miles every year. I always stay in 5-star level hotels - and this is not a five star hotel. The WiFi is terrible. There are no amenities. They told us to come down and pick up our own food when we ordered room service. The two female front office staff were very nice, but it was obvious they were operating like scared puppies under the authoritarian direction of the owner. We spent over US$5000.00 in this hotel and we were treated like peasants. It was very obvious that the owner is having massive cash flow issues and was determined to solve them with our credit card. Don’t stay here. There are many better hotels in Geneva for the money. C. Burnett

We stayed just one night and on arrival we liked the hotel - it was very centrally located (near shopping and the lake) and the rooms looked to be nicely appointed. However over the following 24 hours it became increasingly apparent they didn't seem to offer the services you might expect from a hotel of this standard. On arriving back from dinner our small party asked if we could get a drink at the bar but we were told no it was closed. We went to the hotel next door whose bar was also closed but they did serve us a digestif even through we were not resident with them. The next morning at 8 am we rang down for room service as the room only had a coffee machine (and no milk) we were told room service opened at 11 am. I questioned the answer as I had never heard something so ridiculous. On leaving the property at 12 noon we again asked if we could get a drink at the bar whilst waiting for our taxi only to be told no, only after 2 pm when lunch guests had left. So apart from providing a bed and bathroom we drew a blank on why you would want to stay here. it seemed the guests were an inconvenience and not central to their service.

We spent 4 nights at the hotel and we had a brilliant stay! The hotel is just by the lake of Geneva and the location is ideal in the center of the city and within a few minutes walking distance to the wonderful lake promenade, the central train station and the bus station!! It is also very close to Mont Blanc street and the main shopping center of Geneva, such as Globus, Manor and expensive brands and jewelery shops and restaurants!! The room was spacious and very clean and everything was catered for in detail!! We highly recommend the hotel Ambassador and we thank the staff for their helpfulness and politeness!!

The hotel is very clean and should be newly renovated. Surrealist portrait sculptures in the corridor are a bit scary, and every time you go in and out, you always feel like someone is standing there. The location is also very good, the bridge is the famous street. Next to the hotel is STARBUCKS. Check-in requires 2 single beds, although they are put together, it does not affect the use. There is a free apple every day at the front desk and bananas and oranges on the second floor. The only shortcoming is that the towel that was brought in was taken away by HOUSEKEEPING, and I went to the front desk to complain. I just apologized and said that I would return it to me the next day. I didn’t return it to me when I left the store. The casual, large strips of Europeans can be seen at this time.

I stayed in room 214 on the second floor which was very peaceful as it faces a side road and what looked like a small playground. The room looks a bit dated with dark furniture. Limited English TV channels. Lots of lights including a reading light. Bathroom was well lit and walk in shower that delivered a strong spray of water. The bed was comfortable. A small issue was that after the first night the room attendant left used coffee pods - they were not replaced nor the bottles of complimentary water in the room. (I put them in the bin myself and they were replaced the next day) I have stayed in this hotel before so they are excused as I stayed when there were few people in the hotel and there was a feeling of fear from the staff at reception because of Covid 19. When I left on the 16th March a state of emergency was declared in Geneva. I wish for all the staff to be safe. When I am in Geneva again I will not hesitate to stay at the Tiffany Hotel.

This is my first stay in Europe with a MO property, as I’m previously based in Asia. The hotel is a lovely property with top-notch service, even as the hotel just recently reopened. The staff of the hotel was very friendly and attentive, and always anticipating what I needed before I asked. For example, the doorman at the hotel handed my a bottle of water just before I started looking for them in my car, because I didn’t remember which door panel did i place it in. The level of thoughtfulness and attentiveness is exactly why I’ve been so loyal to MO over the years. I stayed at one of the smallest rooms in the hotel, but it was a very cozy one with a great view over the lake. Will definitely come back again, and hopefully, will be able try out the Indian fine dining restaurant when it reopens. Thanks MOGVA for maintaining a high standard, it certainly bears the name of being an MO property.

This hotel is very elegant, and grand in style. We were upgraded to a Lifestyle Room at the Hotel Metropole, and we were really happy with it. The room was modern, high tech, and recently remodeled. It featured a full-length mirror with a built-in flat screen TV, and a ipad beside the bed controlling all the lights in the room. Our room was at the front of the hotel, so our view was of the lovely lake. We had blinds that you could get to come down automatically at night to keep the room dark and also help with street noise. It was not too noisy at all. The bathroom was really a part of the bedroom, but you could pull a drape across for privacy while bathing. Service was excellent by bellmen, concierge, and receptionists. We made use of the fitness center and thought it was very nice. The location is very convenient to the main shopping district and to the Old Town, all within easy walking distance. We are glad that we chose this hotel!

The level of service provided by all employees, from valet parkers, housekeepers, receptionists, concierges, waiters, gym instructors, spa personnel, bartenders, to all the management staff, is outstanding. It is clear that an excellent leadership is reflected throughout all levels of staff. I can comfortably say that Les Bergues is the best hotel worldwide I have ever stayed in. All team members over all service departments do their utmost to make sure that the guests are happy and are willing to improve any misfortunes or errors, which may occur. The team members are consistent in remembering my preferences, such as favourite cocktail, beverage and food preference. I jokingly once said that the staff knows me even better than my husband (when one of the staff members had organised special delivery of my favorite chocolate and tea as a gift)! The hotel is very successful in creating a feeling of being at home, treated with care and extra attention. Professionalism and care at the highest level any hotel guest can ask for. Even during these trying times with pandemic restrictions the hotel has managed to outperform in all aspects. My congratulations to the management!

This is a small hotel working hard to be better! Five minutes walk from the station and very quiet at night. Big comfy bed, warm room, useless TV if you want English programmes, but it’s 3 star, so you get what you pay for! For reasonable food cost the best thing is to walk 50m up the road to the ‘Manor’ store where you can get fantastic take away food, huge selection, or use their restaurant on the top floor where everybody from Geneva seems to go for lunch! For breakfast go 50m down the road, turn in by the ‘Subway’ takeaway and along on the left side is a super cafe with bakery. Lovely fresh food and drinks. This is cheaper than using the breakfast at the hotel!

Literally just returned from the weekend in Geneva. We chose this hotel because we are the Accor Club gold and we always get an upgrade - not sure if the upgrade is necessary in this hotel though as all you get in a junior suite is a duplex room where the upper 'lounge' is literally useless - but still very pretty. We loved everything in this hotel. The service is super nice, the bar and restaurant are very inviting, the rooms are well appointed and beautifully furnished. Everything is super clean and everything is available. The minibar and the snacks in the room are included in the room rate, the toiletries are wonderful, and the bedding super plush. There is also valet service at extra charge which makes accessing the hotel by car a complete breeze. The breakfast is delicious - the only small problem was that the waiter did not speak English well enough to understand that I wanted herbal tea - so I had coffee instead. Made it easy on him and me - but there should be a tea station so that everyone can make one they like and enjoy. The location of the hotel is super convenient, everything is walking distance. We loved the hotel, we loved the weekend in Geneva and we will definitely be back! The place is super highly recommended.

Hotels Near Rosaire In Geneva Review

I booked up this hotel for 12 people on a non-refundable deal with Booking.com. Due to Coronavirus our ski holiday was cancelled and we had a one night stay over at this Geneva hotel. I asked for a free of charge cancellation and the Nash Pratik agreed to this. They had every right to not agree to waive the cancellation fee (which was 100% of the cost) but they were very generous and agreed to this. I had another booking for another hotel in the UK and the owners refused the free cancellation and pocketed the money when I was self isolating. So I wanted to say Thank You to the Nash Pratik in Geneva and let everyone know that they operate on a fair and reasonable basis. Thanks

The location is excellent, right next to the train station, there is a lot of food nearby, the supermarket is also very close, it is convenient to go by car, the most intimate is that the hotel provides free tickets for all days from check-in day to check-out day, including bus Cars, trams and trains are second-class seats. This saves a lot of money and many things. I didn't know that. More affordable than expected, highly recommended. The hotel also pays attention to safety at night, like it.

I booked a trip to Geneva to celebrate my dad's 50th birthday and decided on the Warwick Hotel. The hotel was absolutely fantastic and the location was just perfect. We got a free train ticket to get from the airport and when we came out of Cornavin station, we realised that the hotel was straight across the road, which made it really easy to use our Swiss Travel Pass for exploring other parts of Switzerland including Gruyeres, Bern, Bulle, Interlaken etc. The travel pass that we were given on check-in for getting around Geneva was really useful and made it super easy to explore the sights, such as Musée Ariana and Jardin Botanique. The hotel is only a short walk away from the Old Town, the Jet D'eau and the Jardin Anglais, where you'll find the infamous Flower Clock. When we got to the hotel, the staff had kindly put a bottle of Champagne (which was very much appreciated), a fruit platter, chocolate and some complimentary bottles of water in the room for us. Staff were all super friendly, spoke English very well (which gave me a break from translating everything) and very informative about public transport. After a very tiring hike up the Harder Kulm, I decided to order room service when we got back and it was also fantastic. As an English person, I was reluctant about ordering fish and chips (and also disappointed with myself for not going with something more continental) but they were fantastic and just like back at home. I also ordered the Gruyeres meringue for dessert which was just beautiful. We stayed at the back of the hotel and didn't hear any street noise at all. A fantastic base for exploring both Geneva and other areas of Switzerland. Thank you so much Warwick Geneva for making my dad's 50th birthday so memorable and for being so welcoming. We shall return!

Charming hotel in a fantastic location. Walking distance to Jet L'eau, Clock Tower etc. Traveled with my family of (2 teens). Booked online which gets you a complimentary upgrade. Then, I called and emailed about a month before traveling and we were upgraded further when I requested a sofa area. We had booked to classic rooms originally. When we arrived, our deluxe rooms were not ready yet, so we were upgraded again to 2 duplex suites! They were 2 floors each (with stairs) and interconnecting. What a fantastic set up! We traveled over Christmas, so it was nice to have space to spread out. There is a small hotel bar and gym. Overall, the hotel is smaller than some of the photos might suggest. It must be connected to a residential building or another hotel. But, it is charming albeit slightly dated, but very clean. Loved this hotel and would highly recommend it!

We’ve just returned from a lovely few days in Geneva. We stayed at the NH City Hotel, just outside the city centre. We would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel. Our room had the comfiest bed ever, clean and even though we overlooked a main road it was extremely quiet at night. Breakfasts were very good, with lots of choice. It offered everything you would want for a good start to the day: fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurts, selection of bread, cheese, ham & pastries. The staff were extremely helpful, even when we asked Reception to print out some rail tickets to Lausanne. A word of warning to anyone wanting to visit Lausanne by train, buy your tickets online. Return tickets for 2 online cost us 36CHF, but to buy them at the station would have cost us over 90CHF. The only difference being we had to say what time train we wanted to catch rather than an “any time” train. Although eating out is expensive, you do save money on transport. Get your free ticket to town from the airport, then at your hotel you get a free transport ticket covering trams, buses, boats & trains within Zone 10. We had every type of weather you could think of: snow, rain, wind & bright sun. A good short break.
