About 30 minutes from Samui Airport, the hotel has its own beach. It feels very good for the second time. Personally, I prefer modern pool villas (the last time I stayed in a tropical pool villa). The rooms are comfortable and fully equipped with tableware. The service of all the hotel staff is very warm, there are not many people in the hotel, it is very suitable for holiday Hea time; there are eating and convenience stores at the intersection, the hotel breakfast is not lost; the tamarindsprings spa near the world's top ten spas is worth a visit ( The walk will be able to walk), the hotel only needs to communicate in English, everything else is very good; twice with children to the beach to fish, there are many small fish and crabs, very fun with children, the waves are not clear, The sand is a bit rough, but the problem is not big; then Samui will stay again.

We stayed here for more than a week and we're very very happy with our choice. It's a small resort with direct access to the beach and has great bungalows. The pool is awesome and there's always room. We stayed here with our little one year old and couldn't have picked a better place. They had a baby cot for her and when we found one was a little rickety, they immediately gave us another one. We choose not to include breakfast and just got a yogurt from the shops nearby. Having a fridge in the room was very nice with the baby anyway. The host is very nice and the rooms are kept clean (fresh towels every day). They also offer a safe at the front desk, which ways makes us feel safe. There are lovely restaurants nearby and multiple mini marts. We're sad to leave!

We ate here as it was close to the Renaissance Hotel. Very wide ranging menu covering all tastes and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and freshness of the food. There are pictures of all the menu items which makes it easy to choose. Staff are very friendly

The location is quite convenient. I rented a small motorcycle at the entrance. Because it was originally south of Koh Samui, it is definitely not as busy as Chaweng Beach, but it is also a little quieter; in terms of environment, it looks very comfortable; On the facilities, there are not many entertainment facilities. After all, the price is here, the benefits are mainly; the service is good, the little brothers and sisters for breakfast are very enthusiastic, and they told us that there will be night markets and the like at night. Take the initiative to say hello, which is much better than Belle. Make a SPA, it should be good, so I do n’t know if it ’s good or bad, so I do n’t evaluate it; the hygiene is twice a day, which is not bad! Overall, recommended! Also gave us afternoon tea, it was delicious! The main bed is the most comfortable I've stayed in the three hotels I stayed in. Carlton didn't have this comfort afterwards. Maybe I'm superficial. Hahahahahaha

The location of the hotel is close to high-end hotels, and Banyan Tree is also nearby. It is sandwiched in a small place in the middle of these hotels. They have their own beaches and swimming pools. Bringing a baby means playing in the swimming pool and digging for sand. You don’t have to go out to eat and buy water. There are not many restaurants nearby, but there is a whole family on the road out there. Along the way, there is a restaurant opened by a Swiss owner that can still eat. Special thanks to a waiter who picked up one of our paper bags. We haven't noticed that we lost it yet. deeply appreciated.

Small and friendly hotel just outside Lamai. 20 individual bungalows set in a lovely tropical garden. Rooms are clean and basic, pool towels available at reception. Breakfast cooked to order each morning and very good. The beach is just 5 minutes walk and about a dozen restaurants locally. Car park available. Ideal hotel if you’re on a budget. I would definitely recommend if you want a quiet holiday. I wrote this review as I feel this little gem is missing out on an updated entry.

I have been returning to China for a long time before I commented. I had a very comfortable holiday at the hotel with the elderly and one-year-old children in the Spring Festival. I originally booked a short-term rental villa on the island. After a water outage and power outage, I decided to retreat and live here again. The three-bedroom villa we stayed in was actually four bedrooms. The interior decoration time was a bit long, the maintenance was good, the mattress and pillows were comfortable, and during the stay, except during the break, the room time was very small, basically on the beach and In the yard; the location of the hotel is not said, the next few steps to the beach, the quality of the beach is general, there are some small stones, a few minutes to the left will be better; near the hotel seven or eight minutes drive a large local supermarket, vegetable meat The seafood is very comprehensive. We basically do our own cooking and take-out. The emphasis is on the service that is beyond expectation. The management of the housekeeper sao is completely barrier-free. The problem is solved at any time. We have not enough hangers. We bought a new one on the same day. I need a children's dining chair. I bought a new one for us the next day. Every day, I ask if there is a need. The little girl who cleans up and the uncle of the security guard are also doing their best to solve the problem at any time. Although the hotel provided ample mosquito-repellent incense, we were bitten very badly, reminding everyone to bring enough toilet water. After being bitten, you can go to 7-11 to buy a local ointment, which works well.

This being our second visit to the property within 3 years, the owner, Kontee, kindly agreed to block the room for us without any advance payment. We stayed at the beachfront villa, which was really a beach front in the true sense. ...it was like 10 ft from the room to the beach. The Thongtakian beach, also known as the Crystal beach, where the property is located, is probably one of the best beaches in Samui, with crystal clear water with visibility upto 7-8 ft. This helped someone like me ( who does not know how to swim !!!) to stand chest deep in the water and have a great snorkelling experience. The property is a mid budget property, immaculately maintained, very well connected (since it is on the main road between Chaweng and Lamai) but not very crowded since there are only 5-6 hotels on this beach. The breakfast was decent and fulfilling. Would love to come back here every time. Thank you Kontee.

We spent 5 nights at Crystal Bay and there were things we loved about it and things we thought could be given more effort. First, the positives. The resort is on a beautiful little beach. It's mostly quiet there so you don't have the big crowds and bars nearby. It's easy to wake up and walk along the 300 meter beach and have it mostly to yourself. The restaurant on site (or kind of part of the property) has wonderful food and they accommodate for vegans and vegetarians. This side of the beach is farther away from the road so you don't hear the traffic that you do at other resorts on the opposite end of the beach. It's easy to walk to the sandier side of the beach (the opposite side), as the side in front of the resort is a bit rocky once you get into the water. Now, how they could improve. It's just seems like the resort has a very low effort vibe to it. Our water pump in our room was filled with air and every time we turned the tap on, it sounded like a high-pitched squealing sound (like you hear when you turn on a scuba tank). Anyone who had that room before, or when the came in to clean it, was forced to hear it. The faucet spit our more air than water and I’ve never appreciated the sound of a normal faucet until after we left our room. It could have been fixed with some effort, but it seemed like they were satisfied with leaving it. Another thing that I found effortless is that during our 6 days/5 nights, they never once had anyone go out to the beach to clean it up. The resorts right next door had someone doing this every morning. Crystal Bay, however, has these beautiful trees that offer wonderful shade for people to sit under. These trees also drop lots of leaves. It seems like a no-brainer to have someone go out to the beach once every other day to rake and clean up any small trash and all the leaves that might collect there. Instead, nothing was done in a week of observation and it was noticeable when you saw less reputable resorts next door going out and putting in the effort to ensure their beach front was attended to every morning. In the end, I cannot recommend the beach enough. The location is amazing, away from all the concrete jungle that other Samui beaches are becoming. It’s very green and hilly in this area of the island, and you can get to a variety of restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive and not have to go into the busy part of town. The beach has huge rocks on either end and is framed by hills all around. It’s picturesque, for sure. Our favorite on Samui. Sand is also nice and soft. It has wonderful potential if they showed more effort and cared about the rooms and resort more. It seemed to me that they were satisfied with little effort, when by putting more effort into the grounds, service/friendliness at the front desk and some room upgrades, it could be a lot better. You get what you pay for, I guess. If you are looking for a good room, try the beachfront rooms. They have nice views from the patio a

Such a nice place! The most friendliest staff ever. The whole family is running this place and it feels. There is only 6 villas on the territory near Choeng mon beach. We had a lot of space as all villas are 1-bedroom and we felt very cool travelling with the child. There is one big swimming pool and villas are standing around it. Every day we got breakfast to our veranda, and there is a lot to choose from for breakfast. Fresh fruits every day. It is 5 minutes to the Choeng mon beach, the beach is nice, it has smooth white sand not like other beaches on Samui. I really recommend this place!

We have had the best 8 days at this beautiful villa it’s just as described Were absolutely amazed about the family from India that left an awful review it was really uncalled for how they could actually be so petty and rude about this place and the wonderful hosts its laughable! This is a hillside rustic home that is home from home everything you need is here. You must enjoy a little nature that all I’d say. But that’s what Thailand is all about surely.... The host is a lovely lady that I would say couldn’t be aggressive towards a fly and Anny is just kind and so helpful tidying after us! We had use of mopeds a truck and got lifts if we wanted to drink on a night out. The beds were the best nights sleep any of us had had in a while it was just 10/10 all round for the most amazing family holiday we hope that anyone considering this villa ignores the arrogance of the one and only bad review it’s rubbish go for here you won’t regret it. This is a must stay for all backpackers or travellers. CHEAP!!! michael and ane who run this place are awesome by the end of your trip youll have made awesome friends , the reception is also the bar so was awesome first impression to see everyone hanging out there, easy way to break the ice rooms were very clean with a nice toilet and shower, there is an outdoor pool and lounge area in the centre of all the rooms and dorms wich gives it like an american motel feel (in a good way) so makes for an awesome hangout. only ever spent few hours in the room to sleeo or shower apart from that was spent outside. they also have a menu for food to order, this is propper hot meals ranging from burgers to italian to thai food and it is deliverd to you (no kitchen on site but they have a partnership with another business) laundry service and motorbike rental along with ferry and boat bookings are also available on site. location wise its a 15 min ride to chaweng beach and just 3 mins to the big bhudda. its a 5 min walk to bangrak pier, so if your staying around the full moon time you can easily get a speed boat there and back.( thats what a group of us did) pretty sure i missed a few things out but this is a must stay for anyone visiting koh samui note: if you visit make sure you order a 'TK' at the bar ;)

The Lodge is a perfect getaway spot for couples looking for a simple but clean, small, family-run establishment. We had one of the “Pent Huts” on the second floor with a gorgeous sea view and plenty of space. The whole hotel only has eight rooms, so doesn’t feel crowded at all. The room was basic but very clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is situated right in the middle of the Fisherman’s village, so you have a wide range of restaurants and bars on your doorstep, plus it’s super easy to get to other parts of the island by taxi or if you hire a scooter. What sets The Lodge apart is the friendliness of the staff, who had memorised our drinks order within a couple of days and were always happy to go the extra mile. They do an excellent Mojito! The Lodge also serves food which I found to be of excellent quality. Try the chicken and cashew nuts stir fry - it’s delicious. The only negative points I could think of would be: - Some noise is inevitable because it’s right in the middle of the Fisherman’s Village and it directly overlooks the beach. If you need absolute silence to sleep, this place isn’t for you. - We caught the tail end of the wet season, so pretty much every morning there was a big storm. As a result the balcony gets very wet and sometimes if the winds are high, some water comes through the doors. This isn’t really something over which the hotel has any control but just worth noting. On the flip side, this means you have a ringside view for the incredible lightning storms coming in off the sea. If we return to Koh Samui we will definitely stay here again. It was amazing value for money and an overall great experience, in no small part due to the lovely people who run the place. Thank you!

Unfortunately forgot the host name, but the guy at the reception was very friendly and helpful. He is a lovely person. Thank you to always make smile on our faces :) Breakfast is made freshly however the portion is quite small. Was very close to the center and there is a 7/11 2min walk away (we checked :) ) The rooms in the bungalows are quite big as well, they always coming to clean. The swimming pool is huge, has an amazing view. The biggest problem is that the swimming pool is far up high on top of that hill, and the way is steep. However, as soon as you reach it the view is beautiful.

Spent two weeks here in July while volunteering as a vet student in the local dog shelter. The shelter is a 15 mins walk away . The place is ran by a charming young Italian couple and a small few lovely local staff. The chef, Joe, gets a special mention cos he was just great. This place is amazing value for money. By far the cheapest we paid in Thailand and got a lovely double room with an ensuite. There is a great restaurant on site that does Thai food and unreal pizza. We were there for 2 weeks and tried other places in walking distance that were nice too (Mum a Roy's for eg.) when we needed a change. The owners provide everything, taxi cheaper than we could organise ourselves . Scooters or bikes if you want to rent them etc. There is an amazing beach about 7 min walk away. We spent many peaceful evenings on the terrace having beer and chats. For from the busy filth of Chaweng.

Stayed 3 nights, the hotel is a bit far from the central festival, but there is a shuttle bus to and from the hotel at 70 baht per person. Breakfast is okay, and everything is available, but the supplement is not particularly diligent. As a member, the child discounts over 400 baht per night to 240 baht, including breakfast, can make the sofa into a bed. Drinking water pipes are enough, so they can be sent without them. The beach is much better than the Ritz-Carlton, barefoot is fine. Turn right, there is a hotel supermarket pharmacy, 5 minutes walk there is a net red restaurant, very convenient. We live on New Year's Eve and there is a New Year dinner event. In short, it's a good hotel to spread the sun there.

Thailand's local high-end brands, in the middle of the law, the overall evaluation of four and a half. In fact, I would like to relax in the five-star hotel in the Banyan Tree in the past four seasons. However, the price of the National Day is too high. Secondly, the trip to the home is difficult to adjust. These five-star hotels are located in quiet and remote places, afraid of the elderly. I feel bored and dislike, personally feel that Banyan Tree is more suitable for couples to travel. The elders of the family need to be able to walk and go out to eat and shop for convenience and excitement, so I struggled for a long time and finally decided to live in the Chaweng Beach area. The room requirements are not high. After all, I will go out to play most of the time. It is really just a place to have a breakfast buffet in the morning, so as long as the cleanliness is not too cramped, there is a pool in the sea. This hotel meets all our requirements and is very cost effective. I have booked an ordinary garden area room for my old man. I need more space for two children and set up a family duplex room so that they sleep upstairs. I sleep downstairs and do not affect each other. The hotel's sea view suite area and common garden view room area are on both sides of the road. When crossing the road, there are guards to help ensure safety. There is a lot of price difference on both sides, so it is more cost-effective to cross the road:) The hotel breakfast is good, although it does not change every day, but it can still eat. Hotel hygiene cleaning may be more general, but not dirty. As soon as the island was supposed to be clean, it would not be a big deal. Secondly, it was a four-star hotel, and the demand could not be higher. There is a swimming pool in the garden area and the sea view area, which is quite convenient. However, the garden area is recommended to live on the second floor of the house. The first floor is easy to have night worms and more geckos. The location of the hotel is personally impeccable, with 7-11 or a family and pharmacy hotel within five minutes of walking. The recommended restaurant in the seafood "food stalls" is within 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel. There are small outlets across the food stalls, the Chinese street is turning, and there is another shopping center. In terms of service, I gave five points, which is really good. The elephant house in the visitor center at the front desk, the sailing boat and the atv three projects are also very satisfied, and the price is fair. In short, I personally think that this is a cost-effective, there are some, although not the most luxurious high-end, but the children feel that hateful is very good, I am happy.

As you approach the main building with Spiderman overlooking the car park, you might think "what on earth am I in for" but meeting the friendly staff and appreciating the beautiful ocean views while checking in, you realise that your stay won't be anything but life changing. The property is located on a quiet part of the island in Lipa Noi. It's a short drive from Nathon Pier but within walking distance, there isn't much to see. There is a Family Mart conveniently situated right across the road and a lovely deserted beach on the other side of the bay at Lipa Noi beach. The rooms, although basic, are spacious and located at the back of the property in a lush garden. If you like camping or the outdoors, you probably won't mind the gheckos and other insects in the room but the beautiful beach restaurant and gorgeous food made up for this. I would recommend the hotel to do a deep clean ever so often as we found some cobwebs within the folds of the curtains. But all aside, we had a nice stay.

The hotel is new and the location is good, 5-10 min walk from the beach and several restaurants. They have a nice swimming pool and nice staff too. However, lots of things are lacking to make this place really nice, maybe because they look new and are still adjusting. We booked the bedrooms (not dormitories), but: 1 there was no safe: we locked our money and passports in the luggage 2. there was not enough place to hang clothes and towels: there is no wardrobe, just a sort of stick between two walls with two hangers. We asked for more hangers, but we got none... We ended up buying ropes and more hangers. It is a beach place with a swimming pool, so clothes, swimming suits etc get wet! People from other bedrooms were hanging everything on the shrubs of the garden... 3. There is no beach/swimming pool towel 4. Few, very heavy swimming pool chairs 5. We got the bedroom next to the swimming pool, so we had noise from people drinking late in the night, and children screaming early in the morning 6. There is a glass window below the air conditioning, so the light goes straight to your eyes. We found cardboard and put there. Otherwise, bring your mask 7. Breakfast is really a poor and unhealthy, sort of English breakfast: white bread, egg (good thing…), sausages and ham of low quality, bacon sometimes beans, sometimes something green like spinach (also good), tea OR (bad) coffee OR (not fresh) orange juice. We bought fruit and yogurt to make it better… It is sort of different every day and it comes ready, so you can’t chose what eat and what not to eat, so lots of food are wasted (well, I am not sure those sausages and ham are considered food…). We think that they could have a list of options (including healthy food!) and we would made the combination…

The hotel is close to the airport, about 20 to 30 minutes away. It is a rare hotel with private beach on Koh Samui. Most of the restaurants that eat are facing the sea. Both breakfast and dinner are comfortable and pleasant surroundings. Private villas are very private, surrounded by plants that are close to nature, and some have independent pools suitable for families to soak in the hotel. The service is enthusiastic and professional. The personal butler is very good in English. Basically, there is a demand for everything. The only thing to pay attention to when staying is to prevent mosquitoes. Because of the location and the surrounding plants, there are many mosquitoes and insects. The hotel will treat the insects on the periphery every day. The rooms have mosquito repellents and mosquito repellents, but the bag is really large It's very itchy, everyone can bring more anti-mosquito and itching.

Rich buffet served in the breakfast room and also there is a cook in the kitchen who can order for example omelette at that moment. The staff were always friendly and welcoming, happy for us to check out a bit late so we could get one final swim in - both at the nearby beach and in the (very) clean pool.

Nathon
It is very close to the port, the natural environment is very good, a variety of characteristic room types, swimming pools. . . Everything is perfect except that the surroundings are a little desolate. The boss also loaned us the BBQ stove to grill ourselves:)

Lamai Beach
Asian Secret Resort is a spectacular find. The best part of the resort are the owners, Paco, Juan and his wife Elina! They are so gracious, kind and accommodating. The resort is new, small (10 bungalows)and intimate. We stayed here 11 days while on Koh Samui. Enjoyed it tremendously. The made to order breakfast was a great way to start your day. Relaxing in the pool was a great way to end it. Easy walking to Lamai Beach and local restaurants. Paco and Juan are so helpful with recommendations for things to see and do. Will come back to on next trip to Koh Samui! Don’t hesitate to stay here!!

Mae Nam Beach
Very surprising small hotel, warm, comfortable and sanitary. The French owner and local waiter are very nice, 5 minutes walk to the beach, much quieter than Chaweng Beach. Our whole family loves this hotel and will stay here again if we have the opportunity.

Lamai Beach
This time I came to Koh Samui, I was very satisfied with this hotel. In the area of Lamai Beach, there is a lively street at the entrance. There are many restaurants, bars, massage shops, car rental shops, travel agencies, 711, FamilyMart, and Pharmacy. Convenience. Behind the hotel is a super beautiful beach, the fine white sand and blue water, the waves of sea and sky roar! Lamai is a relatively quiet beach on Koh Samui. There are more Europeans and Americans, and rare Chinese! There are a total of 18 pool villas in the hotel, all with their own small pools. The sea-view pool villas you can stay in can be directly viewed from the sea in the gazebo. The sun rises in the morning and the stars rise at night. The entire hotel has a strong Thai style, and the interior style of the room is also grand. Once the entrance hall comes in, there is a large jacuzzi, and an open-air courtyard next to it is a separate bathing area, which is especially enjoyable! The kitchen and cloakroom are all available. There are refrigerators and washing machines in the kitchen, as well as a full set of utensils! The bedroom area pushed out the door and you can see the beach pool and gazebo, sofa, coffee table and lounge chair. You don't want to enter the room for a day when you are idle! The private small swimming pool is small, one meter, four meters deep, the water is very clear, and the play water is enough. The overall layout of the suite is impeccable. To say a little bit is that the air conditioner is relatively old. The central air conditioner from Honeywell is relatively noisy. The hotel's buffet breakfast is on the back floor of the villa suite. There are not many types, but they are also fried eggs, vegetables, sausages, fried rice noodles, milk, coffee and fruits. The taste is also satisfactory. The public swimming pool provided by the hotel is basically not. When you go, the bar area next to it is an open wooden porch, facing the beach and the sea. Here you can drink two glasses with the momentum of sea drinks! The service in Thailand has always been great, and here is no exception, with a warm smile and a home away from home! I spent two days in the lounge, listening to the sound of the tide, drinking wine in the gazebo every night, and watching the colorful clouds in the morning with the birds singing, facing the sea!
