We booked this hotel for our anniversary and I will recommend it always! The location was perfect! Smaller pool with 24 hour exercise room. The staff was super friendly.

The hotel staff was absolutely amazing, everyone went above and beyond their duties to make the hotel guests happy. Great location, great hotel! I cant recommend it strongly enough. I was there for a month, one of the weeks it snowed almost every day. The management was in the parking lot every morning cleaning snow off the windshields of every car in the parking lot! INCREDIBLE!!!!

I was very disappointed with my Stay here and will never come here again. Where do I begin. Lets start with the pool that was not working and very disgusting or the slippery Hot Tub that I almost busted my face in coming down the steps. Or lets put the Icing on the cake. So my mother came to visit me. I raved about the amazing service I had received at the Bistro by Greg and Tijay. So,I suggested that my mom go down for Lunch at the Bistro while I was at my jobs Conference. When I returned to my room I asked my mother did she enjoy her food. She was highly upset. She said that Norma (who is also a manager) was extremely rude. She did not accomadate her when she asked her when the bistro opens and how much their other store items are. In addition, she helped other guest in the middle of the exchange. Once I spoke with a manager I was compensated for my inconvenience with 2 small bottles of champagne. No apology, no conversation. On the day of checking out I notified Norma and Richard Hendrix that it was insulting to offer Champagne instead of rectifying the situation and APOLOGIZING. Norma instead wanted to tell me that she was infact respectful and she has worked there for years. I informed her that my mother did not feel this way and it not about how Norma feels its about the guest. Still without an apology, she asked well what do you want!? I said what do you give guest that are inconvenienced at your hotel. She said ahe don't know. So I told Norma I would step outside to speak to my mom. My mom said a free night at least. Once I informed Norma of the request she TOLD me that she will cover my $15 bill. So now I am extremely confused you ask me what will accomadate my concern, then tell me what your going to do!!!!I told her that I can cover my own bill. Again, I informed her that covering a $15 is not accomadating. Norma was confused and Richard totally disregarded my concern by walking off and not responding! I have never felt so disrespected in my life!!! Do not patronize this place!!!

We decided to come and stay here after many arduous days of debate upon which hotel in the area would suit our needs for a possible lengthy stay. After all is said and done, we found that this was the best of the best. The staff is great as it's always nice to walk in the door of the lobby and be greeted with a smile. Elizabet "The manager" was more than fantastic with making our stay feel as close to home as she could. And the rest of her staff followed not far behind. The kitchenette in each room is definitely not something I could go without in a hotel now after staying here. And the rooms are spacious. Only complaint for the most part is the shotty wifi. But other than that, do yourself the favor and stay here!

The Tru is a newer hotel. The common areas and rooms were clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our bed was comfortable. Protocols for the virus were not as strenuous as the Hampton we visited the previous night. Everyone did wear masks. Breakfast was brown bag with additional selections of water, nutrition bars, etc. The negative included no closets (hooks on the wall for your clothes), no luggage rack (a bench beneath the TV but if you left your suitcase open it blocked the TV), no soap in the bathroom (wall dispensers with body wash, lotion, shampoo and conditioner), no ice bucket, no decaf coffee, and road noise. The Tru is good for a no frills, value hotel. Next time I’ll pay a little more and stay at a Hampton.

I was particularly angry because it hadn't been checked out yet. The waiter went in to clean up when we had breakfast, and took my bag to the front desk, causing a false alarm. This series of hotel services are not comparable to Hilton's hotels.
