|0.41km from city centerThis guest house is an absolute gem. Elena is a phenomenal host. She upgraded us to the junior suite which has one of the best views in the entire world! The location can't be beat. Meteora is a very special place in the world that everyone should experience in their life. Thank you very much for all the hospitality. We will absolutely recommend it to all of our friends and family.

|0.2km from city centerVery disappointed as I spent quite a bit of time looking for just the ”right” place to stay in this magical area. This was a long awaited trip extensive trip through Greece (and Istanbul) and as stated, I took great pains to find just the right establishment in each place I visited. My stay in Kalambaka was to be no different. With only 2 short days, this was to be of quality, not quantity. While still be somewhat budget conscious, I was not going to settle for a bottom of the barrel ”economy room” someplace in the area. I wanted a warm and inviting room with a nice balcony to relax, have some wine, look up at the Rocks and ponder over my experiences that day after a magical and spiritual day of exploring the Monasteries. After searching and reviewing any hotels, bnb's (what have you), many the same price range, if not less, I landed on Toti. Close to everything (shops, town life, markets, scooter rental, and train station), but not ”right in the middle” of it all where it wouldn't be quite as peaceful. Had simple, but warm and inviting decor and an inviting and comfortable balcony, just as I wanted (...or so it was advertised). As I have learned over the years, I had contacted the establishment to confirm the room I was booking; size, style, amenities, balcony, view etc. Upon receiving their reply email, informing me there was no coffee pot/kettle, so I should buy breakfast (???), did have a nice balcony with meteora view, as well as advising me to look at the pictures of the room they had posted, as to show what to expect for the room I was booking. With that confirmation I went through with the booking. When I arrived and shown to the room I was in awe (and not in a good way), so much so I expressed as such pretty much the minute I stepped into the room. I was simply told it had what I booked (??). When I saw the ”balcony” I was even more so taken aback. It had a metal security door on a side wall that opened up into a ”space” that was more of an outdoor landing than a balcony. No more than 5x3 feet, a metal corrugated partition, and one plastic yard chair squeezed in. There wasn't even room for a table so they had a ”tray table” attached to the railing. While it did have a view of the Rocks, it was far from comfortable and relaxing as I had to squeeze around the door just to be able to get to the chair to sit down. Forget about being able to sit back and relax, as the only way I was able to stretch my legs was to shimmy the chair out a bit to be able to close the door (leaving me outside); which I was afraid to do without leaving a wedge in the door jamb for fear of getting locked out on said ”balcony”. (as the door, handle, lock etc were some subpar ”storage unit” looking type deal). So, after a quick debate with myself to address this with management in attempt to resolve and remedy, I didnt want to waste the minimal time I had dealing with this bs. I dropped of my bags and went to explore. Upon my late evening return, after an AMAZI

|0.48km from city centerConvenient location, very close to the commercial street, the advantage is that it is easy to find, eat, and go up the mountain. The bad place is close to the road (not on the side of the main road, not far away) noisy at night; newly renovated There is an elevator, the room is clean and tidy, not big or small, there is a small balcony; The quality of towels and slippers is good, better than some hotels, the bed is small, the bedding is average, the bed is soft, it is the only night in the two-week itinerary that sleeps my back pain. There is a hot water bottle. In short, it is generally a night to stay here, which can fully meet the needs of accommodation.

|2.08km from city centerThis might be the cleanest hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Great views from our rooms, really pleasant service, very well located. Comfortable rooms as well and a very large breakfast. The hotel was particularly lovely to hold our reservation for two years until Australia opened up for us to be allowed to go. It was so appreciated. Hopefully we’ll be back one day.

|0.49km from city centerThis hotel is very close to the bus stop, 150 meters walk away, very close to the shops and restaurants, the location is good, the hotel has two sides, we can see the mountains in the direction where we are staying, and we can see the small buildings in the lower part, which is very good. The front desk staff will introduce you to the bus and church schedules when checking in, but they didn't give specific topographical maps. I live in a five-star hotel in China and there is some difference in Europe. European hotels generally do not provide guests with toiletries. This hotel is equipped with towels and bath towels, large bottles of hand sanitizer, and portable shampoo and shower gel. Nothing else. The hair dryer in the room I lived in was broken, and the Wi-Fi basically couldn't be used. Maybe it was because there were too many people using it. First of all, our main concern with children is hygiene and breakfast. This hotel has a good environment. Clean towels and bath towels are placed outside for guests to use in the stairwell. I first saw the hair on the towel when I entered the room... I took a coffee cup on the cup holder during breakfast, and saw a cup stained with water and lipstick. Obviously, it was manually cleaned without being wiped and disinfected. Breakfast was okay. It's just that when we first checked in, there were two groups staying in. After the group left, the specifications were reduced, the nuts were cancelled, and the eggs were changed from white eggs with red stamps to ordinary red eggs. The difference is obvious. I asked a friend for Waiter for a cup of coffee and asked for espresso without sugar. He brought it and said that two euros are equivalent to 16 RMB. Hope the above is helpful to everyone.

|5.48km from city centerThe hotel is large in scale. Although it is newly renovated, it also has a sense of history. I found an old telephone booth in the lobby on the first floor. The rooms and toilets are very large and very clean. When I checked in, I found that the hotel also thoughtfully gave away a plate of fruits and a chocolate at the head of each bed, which is not a treat in other hotels. The only regret is that the location of the hotel is still a little away from the town. It is still not convenient if you walk to eat. If you have a car, it will be fine. You didn't take Ola very close to the big eye. The next morning, it was less than 15 minutes by car to reach the attraction, which was very convenient.

|2.23km from city centerThe ****nis Guesthouse was one of the best choices we made in regards to location, cleanliness and comfort. From the moment we arrived and was greeted by Kostas our two night stay was a delight. The food served was simple, family comfort food. Our sleep was comfortable knowing all sheets and towels felt and smelt clean. The views from the balcony's overlooking the olive trees and the surrounding country side helped us slip into a relaxed frame of mind. The location to the monasteries was easy and allowed us to take our time and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. Panos and Kostas and their family were amazing hosts. They all made our stay very enjoyable and we loved every minute of it. Our two young girls would have stayed on for much longer if possible. We would like to thank the ****nis family very much for such a lovely, relaxing snd enjoyable stay. Hope to see you all again sometime.

|0.5km from city centerThe Greek couple in the hotel are really enthusiastic and do their best to help solve the requested requirements, such as my parents need hot water. However, it is still somewhat inconvenient. It is recommended to bring a boiling water bottle. There is also a washing utensil and slippers to be prepared. Because I was in a hurry to choose this home, the overall location is good. After all, it is 3 stars. If you like the fun, you can choose infor centre nearby. Breakfast is very rich~~ It is estimated that this is a special feature of Greece😁

|0.93km from city centerWe loved our stay at Oikia Guesthouse. The rooms were beautiful and modern. The bathrooms were modern and the beds were very comfortable. The guesthouse was also in an excellent location from which to visit the monasteries of Meteora. It also had a beautiful rooftop alfresco area to enjoy sunset drinks. Every morning we enjoyed a wonderful and generous breakfast. We would highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone considering staying in Meteora.

|0.68km from city centerWell done European boutique hotel, with its own story and deep spirit. That’s how it feels there :) Communication, accommodation, atmosphere — everything is on extra good level! I was impressed by Spectacular 360 degree view from terrace ( in fact it is the most close place to the mountains ), cozy garden area, and calming silence in the evening. It feels like you are sleeping directly at the foot of the mountains, in absolute coziness and comfort at the same time. My trip was on July, but I easily can imagine the charm of this place on spring, autumn or winter. Many thanks to Spiros and Maria for the hospitality and this unique experience ❤️

It is also very close to the monasteries and everything in town. The staff is exceptionally friendly with great service. The rooms are charming with a nice patio and clean. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in this area.

|0.21km from city centerWe had a good memory of staying in this hotel five or six years ago, but we stopped it again in June. Swimming pool, two monolingual employees who seem to turn the shop alone, unattractive breakfast, unindoorable coffee, tired air conditioning obtained after negotiations, red shower garden bar, moisis bathroom accessories..... Short, the Edelweiss, it was before ....

|0.43km from city centerNot on the central street of Karambaka, but Karambaka is small and safe, so you can just look at local life and environment when you walk for a walk. It is equivalent to a small town in China's fourth-tier places, with simple folk customs and a safe and happy life. The hotel is well decorated, that is, the room has nothing but the bed. It is estimated that the people who go there will go to the abbey for one night. I found a kettle in the corridor (Westerners rarely use it). It seems that we put it there after we checked in. It shows that the store knows the needs of the Oriental people very well. The charging conversion head is forgotten in Athens. The front desk borrowed one. At first glance, it is pulled down by Chinese tourists (because it is a Chinese three plugs). The scenery around the store is OK. A well-regulated shop. The restaurant recommended by the boss is great.

|0.88km from city centerWe enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff are friendly and eager to help. We enjoyed the food at Thymeli restaurant. The stuffed vine leaves were delicious!!! Also loved the breakfast!! I enjoyed using the pool and lounge area with the lovely view of the rocks, but one thing I would suggest is to fix the steps going into the pool. Bed was comfortable and rooms was very clean. I appreciate the luggage holder in the room. Small details like this make the experience more pleasant. Thank you for a wonderful stay

|0.49km from city centerThe hotel is really nice. When you walk in the main entrance it looks very good. The lady on the reception was a nice lady and extremely helpful. The room was nicely done up. Then we noticed no kettle!! Me thinking it was an oversize asked her where it was and was told they don't have them. But she will make us cups of hot water if we need it. The bathroom was small with a half bath tub but it was really cold in there. The bedroom was very warm which was nice as it was freezing out there. Don't bother with the breakfast. It felt the hotel mainly geared for coach parties

|0.63km from city centerThe hotel is just beside the train station and it is time to cross the railway after getting off the train. Otherwise it is difficult to find. Hotel service is very good, can help you call a taxi on Meyola, like a chartered car, 20 euros an hour, very convenient. At 4 o'clock in the afternoon, we called a taxi on Meilong Aola. At this time, there were very few people, and Meilong Aola was beautiful in the sunset! It takes 3 hours and 60 Euros for the car, which is very valuable.

|0.35km from city centerWe stayed one night in hotel Galaxy to visit the monasteries of Meteora. The hotel is located in the city centre of Kalambaka in a little side street of the main street. That way it was peaceful yet also very close to bars, restaurants and shops. You could easily park your car for free in one of the surrounding streets. From our room, we had a stunning view on the mountains and on one of the monasteries of Meteora. Unfortunately, the walls of the room were a tad older and therefore thinner. Thus, they were not very soundproof and we could hear the visitors in the hallway and the rooms next door. The hotel staff, and in particular the receptionists, were extremely nice and helpful. Upon arrival, they welcomed us warmly and gave us a lot of inside tips and information to visit the monasteries. The breakfast buffet was extensive and fresh.

|1.71km from city centerNous avons bien aimé notre séjour à l’Hôtel Kastraki!

|0.61km from city centerWe stayed here as part of a Key Tours 2 Day/1N tour to Delphi and Meteora. Looking at our trip to Greece as a whole, we stayed in 2 star places that were better than this hotel. Wifi was terrible, and the food on offer was well below standard. It was noisy, with school groups and other bus tour groups staying there as well. Staff were also unhelpful. It was hard to watch a elderly lady being treated impatiently when asking for help with the wifi codes. We understand that tourism is big business here, but please remember that impressions are quickly formed via customer service. 2 stars were given for location of the hotel, being walking distance into town, and view of the Monasteries.
