0.17km from Royal Indian FoodAfter reading reviews of the ‘ friendly and good ‘ services, we booked 2 rooms for 3 nights each during our recent trips. During checked in, we were told that only one room is available as the guests has not checked out and they did not get any response when contacted. We took the only room available and went for our lunch. We were later offered a bigger room for one night and it was situated at the top most floor of the hotel! One needs to walked up the steep stairs to the forth floor, which is very quiet, and on the second night ( chosed to remain for the rest of our stay instead) the lights were not on. When informed, the receptionist claimed that it was due to some upgrading and re-wiring of the internet but even when the wiring was done, it was still not on. I think they were trying to save on electricity . Of the 3 nights we spent, internet was near to zero, and zero for two days! Breakfast was just a simple toast, eggs, slice of bacon and small hotdog with coffee or tea and a small glass of ‘juice ‘. The person in charge is not at all friendly and will not bother to greet you ( rather us) perhaps they practice double standard seeing that we are Asian. That goes for the housekeeping lady as well, for they will greet other guests the moment they come down, asked how was their days, etc, smiling....it is no wonder the reviews stated that they are ‘friendly ‘! The Receptionist are okay, but should be more helpful and friendly....Housekeeping can be improved as sometimes towels not changed, drinking water not replenished and have to walk all the way down to ask for it. Tables will not cleaned as well as you can find some stains still around. The location is good as it is walking distance to all the places of interest nearby. I cannot say much if we enjoy our stays there as the whole place was in a mess when we were there due to the two days work of re-wiring and upgrading the internet, even outside the rooms. It will be good if they improve on the breakfast, housekeeping and PR, irregardless of guests, after all, we are paying guests as well. Yet there are many choices in Hua Hin and with the same rates, I’m sure there are many choices, perhaps better and treats all their guests the same.
