During booking a hotel on Agoda, I asked for a room not facing the main street, and a couple of days later I received a letter from the hotel confirming this kind of room. But during the check-in, I received the key from room #201 and this room looked out onto a noisy street with many restaurants and cafes that work up to 2am. At the reception I was told that there were no other rooms available. Old furniture- a la seventies last century but in good condition.Sleeping in this room was completely impossible due to noise from the street. After the restaurants closed, drunk tourists screamed and loud gigle for a long time wandering along the street opposite the hotel. In other words, you can sleep in the room either in the daytime ( course you can sleep on the beach) or after 4 a.m every morning. Horrible. And so, with a lack of sleep, I stayed at this hotel for 4 days. BUT there are good breakfast, good Wi-Fi signal, the TV has a USB input port and you can watch your favorite movies from your flash memory if you have it. Location is not far from the train station.

Never stayed here before and it was a good find in an excellent location. We took a last minute trip out of Bangkok for the Queen’s Birthday and were not disappointed. In room: WiFi is strong all around the room and fast enough for multiple video connections. The air-con was cool and the selection of TV programs in English was excellent. The room was clean and fresh. The bathroom looked new and was spotless. The mattress was firm but not hard and the frame was solid wood meaning it was hard to move (watch your toes). There is a cold fridge and ample storage for clothes. The bijou balcony has a cool breeze even in summer. Breakfast: Typical Thai hotel set menu and a reasonable size. Eat as much toast (butter, jams and peanut butter) and drink as much orange juice, water, coffee and tea as you want. We came down late on day 1 and breakfast was still possible without a murmur. Prices are very reasonable. Beer, water, spirits and soft drinks. If they don’t have something they will make an effort to get it. The staff are very helpful and friendly and will point out attractions if you ask. The beach is a short walk away. The train station is a bit of a longer walk but not too far.

I have now stayed in this hotel 9 or 10 times over the last 5 years and will continue to return. The hotel is in a great location very central 5/10 minutes walk to the beach and 5/10 minutes walk to the night market. The rooms although not the largest in the world are clean, have efficient air conditioning and plenty of hot water in the shower. I personally always book a balcony room which on the higher floors also gives you a peek of the sea. The pool is not huge but is adequate to swim in and certainly large enough for a dunk in the heat of the day, the only slight let down is a lack of sun beds poolside. Staff are friendly and I almost feel like one of the family now when I visit. I noticed that on my last stay they even re arranged the furniture slightly to how I like it. The hotel is however not suitable for light sleepers, those who like early nights or with children as it is right opposite some very noisy bars on the very busy Soi Bintabaht, extremely quiet during the day but VERY noisy at night.

Really nice place, I have stayed here before 2 years ago, the place looked better this time, the owner must really care for their hotel The rooms really clean and tidy, the indoor pool area spotless, the breakfast restaurant area fantastic, I really liked sitting there just watching the world go by. The hotel is Close to many really good restaurants and bar for a cold one , the beach is only down the road a small way. Would I stay again, 100%.

After reading reviews of the ‘ friendly and good ‘ services, we booked 2 rooms for 3 nights each during our recent trips. During checked in, we were told that only one room is available as the guests has not checked out and they did not get any response when contacted. We took the only room available and went for our lunch. We were later offered a bigger room for one night and it was situated at the top most floor of the hotel! One needs to walked up the steep stairs to the forth floor, which is very quiet, and on the second night ( chosed to remain for the rest of our stay instead) the lights were not on. When informed, the receptionist claimed that it was due to some upgrading and re-wiring of the internet but even when the wiring was done, it was still not on. I think they were trying to save on electricity . Of the 3 nights we spent, internet was near to zero, and zero for two days! Breakfast was just a simple toast, eggs, slice of bacon and small hotdog with coffee or tea and a small glass of ‘juice ‘. The person in charge is not at all friendly and will not bother to greet you ( rather us) perhaps they practice double standard seeing that we are Asian. That goes for the housekeeping lady as well, for they will greet other guests the moment they come down, asked how was their days, etc, smiling....it is no wonder the reviews stated that they are ‘friendly ‘! The Receptionist are okay, but should be more helpful and friendly....Housekeeping can be improved as sometimes towels not changed, drinking water not replenished and have to walk all the way down to ask for it. Tables will not cleaned as well as you can find some stains still around. The location is good as it is walking distance to all the places of interest nearby. I cannot say much if we enjoy our stays there as the whole place was in a mess when we were there due to the two days work of re-wiring and upgrading the internet, even outside the rooms. It will be good if they improve on the breakfast, housekeeping and PR, irregardless of guests, after all, we are paying guests as well. Yet there are many choices in Hua Hin and with the same rates, I’m sure there are many choices, perhaps better and treats all their guests the same.

Booked two double rooms, arrived and got two rooms with single beds. When we asked to move they said they only had one double room available and the others were on the ground floor so we would have to pay more. I took the one available on the 6th floor. It was awful. Really old, see through curtains, the water was cold, but the worst part was it was next to some generator or pump or something so the noise went off every four seconds all night long. The next morning I went to complain and they knew exactly the noise I was talking about, the woman manager was extremely rude. She said I could have then twin room and wouldn’t give me a double room even though I had booked one and I had lost a nights sleep unless I wanted to pay more, she rolled her eyes to her colleague as I was speaking. I was traveling with a baby and sharing a bed with him, she just said push the beds together. I reluctantly took the room as I was exhausted and just needed to sleep. The room was more modern and had a nice balcony, the former room had no balcony, although there also was only cold water in the shower. The noise was not much better you hear everything from the corridor and rooms beside you. I was awoken several times throughout the night. The pool is a positive for the hotel, it’s nice and has a kids part. However the hotel is definitely not for light sleepers or people who value good service.

The price is a little expensive. The InterContinental Hotel and Hilton are just outside the hotel. It is very close to the beach. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the night market. The hotel is small and fresh. The frangipani tree and some small decorations are very comfortable. It is suitable for family travel. The mini pool is a favorite for children. Breakfast is only available for breakfast according to the number of reservations. For breakfast, the hotel said that the children should buy tickets separately, a copy of 190 There are a lot of Hua Hin hotels, there is no need to stay at a family all the time, you can't check out after booking, no tax or fee for renewal When going out for a rush and a chartered car, you have to bargain, and you must go to the sun to swim in the sea. Our family went to the beach to swim for more than an hour at nine o'clock. At that time, I did n’t feel the sun.

Pool nice breakfast was fine room immaculate and the maid did clean every day more than what was required. Cant fault it. Great location less than 10 mins to night market, less than 10 mins to beach. Just off main road but I heard no noise. Smoking on balcony. Bath with shower and separate shower. Perfect.

We stayed for 5 nights in a Deluxe Club Access Room . The room was lovely with a big balcony overlooking the beautiful gardens with the pools and sea in the distance . The staff were wonderful . The hotel is grand but very relaxed and comfortable . We made good use of the Club , which had an indoor air conditioned area and a lovely shady outdoor area. We had breakfast there the first couple of mornings , but preferred the larger breakfast restaurant. During the day a light lunch of soup and panini was offered , then later on afternoon tea . From 5.30 -7pm wine , beer , cocktails etc were offered with canapés / snacks ...needless to say there was rarely a spare seat ! We enjoyed the lovely gardens , the 3 pools , the beach , being located in the centre of things with a short stroll to shops , restaurants, massages, markets etc. Easy to see why this hotel gets a lot of repeat holidaymakers.

The location is very good, right next to the market village. I walked for about 5 minutes. On the way to the mall, you can also go through the thatched house of the Internet Red Restaurant. The hotel's room is also very large. The original jacuzzi room was just outside the bathtub. This is a bit funny, it is not used at all. But this room type is on the first floor, so the balcony door can go directly to the swimming pool, which is better. In addition, the hotel waiter service was very attentive. When I saw me taking my child out to dinner at night, I ran out and told me to carry my backpack in front. Whenever you go out, the doorman at the door will say hello to you and ask you if you need tax. Next time you come to Hua Hin, you can stay at this hotel, and it is convenient to go anywhere.

A highly personalised luxury escape… Luxury Thai hospitality… with impeccable personalised service. I stayed here 5 nights with 2 good girl friends at the Deluxe Garden Room. Coming from a luxury work background and having stayed at luxury resorts in Thailand 10+ times, I will benchmark Anantara amenities at 4 stars, while service at 5.5 stars all because of Vito’s incredible, exceptional performance. Here’s why: Service As we had joined multiple outdoor tours, we had asked Vito to help get in touch with the agency/driver for some changes. His high efficiency, charisma and joy (a great balance of friendliness and professionalism) brightened our day up and most of all, he was able to get things done lightening fast even under last minute notice and late at night. Last but not least, I had a knee accident requiring medical attention, Vito was quick to provide me extensive info re doctor/hospital. He even accompanied us to the hospital late at night, making sure all is okay. The next day I saw him again bright and early in the morning greeting us with a smile. I was extremely impressed by his enthusiasm and flexibility, given that he is new to the team. He went the extra mile no matter how small the request, getting restaurant recommendations predicting what we wanted before we even asked= true luxury. Without being intrusive, he made sure we were able to just lie back and enjoy our holidays. I have never encountered such attention-to-detail, thoughtful service even during my stay in the Peninsula! He simply pushed our luxury experience to a new level. Amenities Room: Chic Thai décor but a bit small compared to other luxury resorts in Hua Hin, Koh Samui & Phuket, full of mosquito but housekeeping was quick to fix when notified. Appreciate the lovely housekeeping for keeping our room full of water without having to ask (we drink a lot) Beach: No beach during daytime due to high tide (red flag on). We were able to walk along the beach late at night in low tides (pretty!) General Front desk: Staff all spoke very good english and very calm and gentle. However there was an incident in which I was in need of band-aid due to an accident and the reception girl (who seemed new) directed me to a pharmacy that was closed. When I came back I was told the hotel also ran out of bandaids (basic items for a resort?!?!?!) and gave me gauze pad and suggested I use SCOTCH TAPE (I repeat, scotch tape) to seal my wound. I was completely puzzled about her lack of common sense and asked again. End of story: I got band-aids 1 hour later, but only after 30 mins of explaining and struggles. Swimming pool: Very lovely but crowded and sunchairs all taken by German, Dutch and Swedish tourists. Pool food menu is of good quality but not exceptional. Spa: Top-notch! Restaurant: As expected, the price is slightly high for Thailand but great value for the quality. The Saturday night BBQ was absolutely delicious- had a high quality array of lobster/prawns and seafood buffet spread. I can’t praise the Thai restaurant Rim Nam enough (separate review made )- so delicious we went 2 nights in a row. We ended up trying 10+ dishes on their extensive menu- and still wanted more! Highly recommend. Generous portions. One improvement I wish to see is more upbeat live music (the songs were so old and melancholic lol during our buffet). And more buffet nights. Italian restaurant was posh and delicious- lobster soup and seafood risotto. Bottom line, the top-notch service I experienced is what makes Anantara stands out from the rest of hotels in Hua Hin (thanks again to Vito), therefore I will definitely recommend this hotel to my family and anyone else looking to be pampered in Hua Hin!

The hotel is a bit far away for the city centre, the Night Market but it is on the main road and convenient to get tuk-tuk, taxi and bus to everywhere. Walk a few minutes to the weekend night market, Cicada Market, and near the Buddha village Wat Khao Takiap. On the main road, just outside the hotel, there were a lot of different types of restaurants. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. During the check-in, they served the very nice local flower tea. The room was clean, tidy and well-equipped with all basic facilities. The balcony was pretty nice to get more out-door nature feeling. The most amazing, there was a side bed in the room suitable sitting and for children sleeping as a private corner. The morning buffet served variety food with some Thai styles. They have a large swimming pool with plenty of laying seats for sun bath. It was a good experience and enjoyable to stay this hotel.

It is going to be better if the pillows in the room is a bit harder because the pillows are way too soft, even the hard pillows. The toilet door for room 2408 can't be locked. There are not enough elevators for guests to use. Because there are two evaluators reserved for the 27th floor Sky Bar. One evaluator was closed due to maintenance.

It’s my first time stay at Putahracsa, I love the hotel in general. Hotel shuttle is available at request within its operating hours daily to the night market where is walkable too if you are comfortable for 10 mins walk. Hotel guests may borrow bike for cycling the neighborhood. Two swimming pools can be used by the hotel guests, walkable to the beach. I have stayed at the Silksand room which is spacious for 2 and clean, the bed is comfy, the balcony can view to one of the pools directly. Direct access to the pool from balcony if your room is located on the ground floor. Personally I feels more privacy on the 2nd floor thought. Breakfasts are of good variety mixed with local and international choices, great foods also at the Oceanside restaurant and prices are reasonable. Nice beachfront pool for chill out and for sun bath. It was not many people in early March because of the reduced travels from around the world, nice and quite place to relax and enjoy suns. One minor feedback, not much storage in the room for clothes as we stayed for almost one week, not a big deal thought but to mention this. Spa and treatments are also good. Pleasant stay overall.
