I stayed here for about a week whilst waiting for my other accommodation. Julie and Brian and the crew could not have been more helpful, patient and supporting. The pool was a bonus and I had no issues with my apartment. The level of service really too my breath away, just lovely. I did not find location noisy and having access to the gym and nearby restaurants and pubs are a bonus. Much appreciated

The overall is very good. There is a swimming pool in front, and there is also a small balcony where you can sit on a lounger if the weather is good. Bathroom toiletries are also available. The price/performance ratio is very high, the front desk service is very enthusiastic, and I can communicate simply because my English is not very good. And he was responsible for calling a taxi early in the morning before leaving. It is hard to walk to the downtown area by the sea (by appointment in advance). It’s a bit tiring to look at the map that’s close enough. It’s very convenient if you have a car.

Breakfast in general, should be an extra bed, suitable for children, 1 km from the city center, walking very comfortable, there is a small swimming pool in the hotel, cost-effective, if you do not like to walk, you will feel a little far from the duty-free shop. The hotel is a half-hour walk from the city center. We live in a double bedroom with a kitchen, which can be easily cooked. The bed in the room is more comfortable and suitable for family and children. The disadvantage is that it is a little distance from the city center and the pier. Far away, the hotel has a small swimming pool, suitable for children, there is no place to eat around.

Stayed here for 4 nights, generally worthy of this price, simple facilities, but complete and tidy; location is a bit far away, but convenient transportation, relatively quiet, occasionally planes fly by, and only during the day, it is particularly recommended to go not far on foot Take a stroll in Cairns Botanical Garden, awesome wet rainforest! There is a bus 300 meters away from the hotel, and there is a direct access to the shopping center anywhere. The fare is AUD 3, as long as the bus is bought for the first time to get to the destination, getting off at noon and getting on the bus is free for two hours. Of course, you can also walk along the seaside walkway to Cairns Pier, which is estimated to take about 45 minutes. There is a supermarket about 1 km from the hotel, and everything is eaten. The waiters are young girls, very friendly, the shuttles are very timely, and the braised rice in their own restaurant is very delicious. I think this place is suitable for tourists who have some free travel experience and less demanding service, and it is economical. One suggestion: The first floor of the Cairns rainy season is prone to stagnant water. The hotel can consider improving drainage or laying waterproof mats at the door of the room, otherwise the elderly can't get in and out easily. After all, unlike Westerners who don't care about walking barefoot.

It is far away from the cruise ship terminal. It takes about 30 minutes to walk. The boss service is very enthusiastic. It should be fixed for 3 nights and solved. There is a 7-11 convenience store next to it. It is a little more expensive than the big supermarket in the city center. There are two Chinese restaurants next to it. The taste and the amount of food are OK. The price is cheaper than the city center. Overall good.

Breakfast is very simple, but you can eat enough, Western food is like that? Although the location does not depend on the city center, there is a bus at the entrance to the shopping center, and it is possible to travel back and forth within two hours of buying a ticket. The hotel is located in the north of Cairns city, on the way from the airport to the city. Cairns is not big. It is only 20 minutes walk from the hotel to the city. I walk from the hotel to the city every day, just across a park, and there is a high school opposite the hotel. I am alone, but did not book a double bed room, I booked a double standard room. Compared to the Ibis bed in Melbourne, the room is large, divided into bedroom, shower, bathroom and a spacious washroom, but the facilities are simple or even simple, after all, it is not a star hotel. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool. The pool is the breakfast room. I stayed there for five nights. On the first day, I used toasted bread and butter. I tried two different flavors of jam and bread. The third day. Days, 4th, and 5th, every day: bread, cereal, milk, coffee, and canned food, peaches, I have no appetite to eat. If you want to eat eggs or sausage, it is paid separately. The adventure was that one night I encountered a false alarm. I was awakened by a harsh alarm at 2 o'clock in the middle of the night. I ran outside to see a lot of foreigners, and then drove a fire engine. Finally, I went back to the room inexplicably. There was no process in the process. People to explain the situation. Figure 1 Hotel exterior corridor, Figure 2 hotel exterior, Figure 3 swimming pool, Figure 4 room cabinet and TV, Figure 5 hotel interior corridor, Figure 6 outside the room has a backyard, Figure 7 is the kitchen receiving tray window, the middle panel It is written on the price of the paid breakfast. This is the only one that communicates through my personal phone and can help us check in early in the morning. For the hotel, I appreciate it. Regarding the issue of the room rate, I contacted Ctrip, and the follow-up promise was not fulfilled. The hotel for the next five days, more than 2,000 every night in Harbour Lighs, I booked on another platform. It's not that I can't ignore the price difference of a hundred dollars a night or so in the previous two nights, but that my confidence in your service guarantee service has been affected.

It is very rare to have a hotel of this price during the Spring Festival, so if this hotel can meet the basic needs of rest, in addition to additional facilities, it is really good value for money! First of all, the location of the hotel is a certain distance from the city center. It is a half-hour walk, but there is nothing to visit in the city, it is nothing more than a supermarket to buy things. Secondly, the hotel's facilities are complete, basic things are available, and you can rest well at night. There is also a kitchenette in the room where you can cook your own meals, which is really a bonus. Finally, because it is a motel, the service is basically absent, but the front desk staff are very enthusiastic, so there will be no uncomfortable feeling.

Because I want to transfer from Cairns to Bamaga, I booked this hotel. I am optimistic that it is relatively close to the airport, about 5 kilometers. The room is quite big, less than 30 square meters, and the price-performance ratio is relatively high. The hotel before arrival Through my customer service, I informed the key pick-up code and the code of the hotel door, because the hotel door is locked after 0:00 to 5:30 in the morning, but I have to leave early because of the early flight. This hotel is still very considerate. ,Not bad

The hotel is very far away. In Douglas Town, we went to Cairns by boat for an hour. I am a Platinum Member of Marriott. Sheraton gave me a wine and it was said that the room type was upgraded. But they told me I was not a Platinum member, wasn't it funny? The hotel facilities are good, the scenery is very beautiful, the swimming pool is very large, parking is free, and there are golf courses, but the hotel is located in a tropical rain forest, there are a lot of bugs, and there are cockroaches and small flying insects everywhere in the corridor. It will be stinging, the room is still quite large, and the bathroom is also large. If the hotel can pay attention to cleanliness, the business should be better, which is not comparable to the Gold Coast Sheraton. In addition, I want to tell people who live here not to go to a Chinese restaurant called Jadeinn in Douglas. The owner ’s 10,000-percent Hong Kong independence is simply not dead. If you like to spend all day in the hotel, can recommend this

The environment is good, there are standard resort scenery, pool, pool table, bar are OK. At night, the lights under the swimming pool are dim, and it feels very suitable for the swimsuits to line up, but unfortunately the pool is not open at night. Health, the overall facilities are not bad. In the evening, the hotel restaurant can order some western food, and the price and taste are not bad. The only thing that is inconvenient is that the traffic is not convenient. A patrolled beach pool 200m up the beach. Our room is very clean and comfortable. Small bathroom but all we need. Pool views, spa's, fresh clean bath and pool towels when required from the reception. A hotel searched on the Internet, the facilities are complete, the rooms are spacious, the price is good, the quality is good, the port is very close to the port of Douglas, the surrounding food and beverage supermarkets are all available, the whole is value-for-money, satisfactory. However, as a high-scoring hotel, there is still a gap in service. I haven't cleaned the room for two nights. Indeed, I have come back for a day, and I haven't moved in the room. I wonder if there is a rule to live without having to clean it? It doesn't matter, it's okay to clean up. I just told the front desk in advance that I had to leave the store at 7.30 in the morning of the second day, but the next morning at 7.30, the front door and window of the reception hall were closed, no staff on duty could be found, no one answered the phone... The luggage was taken down, and It is inconvenient to throw it and then send the room card to the room. In desperation, the room card is stuffed from the door seam, and the reservation customer service is sent to inform the check-out email... The result is unknown. Fortunately, I only brushed a 10-knife credit guarantee when I checked in. It doesn't matter if I can't retreat...

Salty and Mrs. Croc here back in Port Douglas for another holiday at the Mantra Aqueous. This is an impromptu affair that we organized after our long-planned cruise to Singapore on a Cunard Covid-19 plague ship was scuttled two weeks before departure. So, rather than sitting around Croc Manor and sniffing paint fumes for my two weeks holiday, we checked the cat into the vet hospital for her dose of radioactive Iodine-131 (she might return the size of the a mountain lion, in which case I am in big trouble) and headed up for 10 days at our old familiar haunt – The Mantra Aqueous in Port Douglas. We have been coming to Port Douglas regularly since 2007 and during that the town has hit the skids. Long gone are the real estate charlatans leaving their crumbling building foundations littered around town; the once upscale shops, restaurants and boutiques along Macrossan Street have been replaced by a long succession of empty storefronts, burger joints, and cheap tee-shirt souvenir stores. With this descent has come a change in the type of visitor to Port Douglas, particularly on the weekends, and this has impacted the Mantra Aqueous in a big way. We noticed on our last trip here that the clientele was a bit rowdier, the drinking and noise a bit heavier. This is important at the Mantra, because the place is designed in a hybrid plantation style with shutter windows that open to let the sea breezes drift through the rooms. The downside of this approach is that the rooms cannot be sealed and noise on the balconies can pervade the complex. We had an unpleasant sleepless night on our last trip and were unsure at the time about returning to the Aqueous. However, given the limited notice for arranging this trip we decided to chance it and give the Aqueous on more opportunity to prove that it is what it used to be. The Aqueous itself looks great. The exterior and interior have been repainted with a smart colour scheme, and when we got here a new fence on the northern boundary was being finished off. We got in on a Monday night and everything was fine until Friday afternoon in early evening when the place began to fill up with a crew of loud bogans, and worst of all, ice zombies. According to what we found out later, this happens every weekend as the locals from Cairns arrive to score a discounted room (thanks Mantra!). What followed can only be described as a weekend from hell. Cairns is a rough town, and there are significant social problems due to the very high levels of substance (licit and illicit) abuse. About 9 pm, a very rough couple arrived in the unit next to us and proceeded to camp out on the balcony with an esky filled with booze, two cartons of cigs, and a stereo. The woman was completely off her head on some type of amphetamine because she loudly babbled continual rubbish, smoked incessantly, and drank all night long, occasionally tossing an empty two stories into the pool. You read about ice zombies in the press, and I

We stayed as a family over the Christmas/ new year break. As per previous reviews, the resort did seem quite. There were a lot of permanent residents which sometimes made you feel like you were intruding in their privacy. Having said that, I would most likely return. We were given a recently refurbished villa. It was clean enough (with a few exceptions, the container that housed the cutlery was off putting - i just washed the cutlery and kept it out). It was ideal accomodation for a young family. We had a washing machine, dryer, two toilets & showers. But you do need to supply your own washing powder and toilet paper (once you run out). Kids loved the pools. There were shallow and deep areas, suitable for all ages. Large enough pools. Bbq area was clean, with tables so you can eat outside and a small playground suited to younger kids. This villa is an ideal option if you want the option to self cater and like the added extras of having a laundry. You will need to take your own beach towels or you can hire them for $2 each for your stay. Apparently there was a shuttle bus, which we never used, but the main street is not within walking distance. I assume a hire car is probably one of the better options. There is a cafe behind the resort St. Crispin, stunning views, great food, beautiful staff - though it seems a tad expensive to me. But you will not struggle to find beautiful and delicious restaurants in Port Douglas. Try and book if you can. We struggled to eat at some places because we did not book.

Port douglas apartments have underground parking garages for convenience. No elevator. No breakfast. The owner Robin is enthusiastic. The room is nice, bright, clean, 70 meters from the beach, at the end of Macrossan Street, very quiet. Especially suitable for vacation. Just a few steps away is the end of the four-mile beach. There is a walkway on the left side, 1.3km long. Stay a few more days. If you come from Cairns, rent a car at the airport and drive for up to an hour. You can also drive to Dancui Rainforest by yourself. Don't listen to the boss's flickering road conditions. It is recommended to join a one-day tour. It is well worth taking a cruise to the daintree river by car. You can see wild crocodiles. If it weren't for this small group to be sent back on time, we could just wait to see wild crocodiles attack the cows standing in the water. regret! Picture one is a hunting scene photo we were unable to wait for. The video is a daintree river boat ride to find the crocodile.

Many months ago we booked four nights at this unique boutique beach resort in Port Douglas. Friends in Sydney told us it was the best place to stay. From the time of the booking the owners have communicated each week on a first name basis. Very unique-our first trip to Australia was off to a great start! We chose this place because of its perfect location on the beach and ten minutes from the village.Take a good look at the photos of the resort and rooms-rooms first class, totally equipped, bikes, shopping trolleys, etc all available. We were booking all of tours from here and the owners were looking after the details. They booked our shuttle from the airport in Cairns. Unfortunately with the recent outbreak of the virus we were ordered home to Canada and never made it to this beautiful spot. We have been so disappointed but the owners have offered us a travel voucher for a good amount of time! We are accepting this rather than getting reimbursement through our travel insurance. We will be back!I We urge everyone that can to buy credits, gift cards and travel to this gorgeous resort in the future. This little piece of paradise needs to continue to be "A Ray of Sunshine"for visitors to the Great Barrier Reef and areas around!
