Not recommended: 1, should be the Indian boss, there are strange smells in the corridor; 2, the room floor, the bed is squeaking, the facilities are outdated, the bed has a box, it is easy to squat people, has been bruised several times; 3, air conditioning, bathroom exhaust fan opened, just like the engine sound is too noisy, outside is noisy; 4, early is not ordinary ugly, bread is strange, are packed in the bag, many guests are Not here to eat; good place is good location, about 700 meters from the farmer's market supermarket, there is a car museum and art museum nearby, driving half a hour from Universal Studios, the car can be parked near the roadside (must be No. 34 can stop Area), the hotel will give a parking permit (one per day) check-in and check-out is convenient, the price is not cheap.

I travel a metric boat load all over and use IHG exclusively. I was introduced to the Kimpton brand during the acquisition some years back. I’ve been an avid fan ever since. Any chance I get to stay at a Kimpton property is seized upon with enthusiasm. This property is compact. It does try very hard to fulfill the broad Kimpton palette. Staff were always polite and efficient. The social password netted me a nice goody bag. Thanks for that! The Spire level got me the Santa Monica suite at a regular room rate. The lobby is small. The two elevators are likewise small. I’m a stout fellow of six foot and 250 pounds and broad shoulders. I had to enter sideways to ride those cars. The second floor breakfast area is small — but the spread that is put out is rather decent for the fourteen dollars they charged. The social password got me a comp’d breakfast. The suite was nice and payed out well. The absence of an ice machine is a little odd. Bagged ice does feel somewhat downmarket. I’m sure it’s not the first time you’ve heard that comment. Decor is well kept-up and the carpets on my floor must have been freshly vacuumed, because there was the most lovely lavender scent wafting through those halls. The shower was huge. Space for a quartet to sing in. The toiletries are always a nice collection. The bed was a delight - soft and cushy. Slept well. The location was good for a morning run too. The LaBrea Tar Pita are just four blocks away. Should let you know that the area does have a lot of homeless around. Nobody too obnoxious bothered me on my wanderings. Valet is quick and efficient. If business brought me back to this side of LA — the Wilshire would make the short list despite the small footprint.

The decoration is very old-fashioned hotel but it is still clean. Maybe because of the carpet, even in the non-smoking room, there are smells. There are refrigerators and microwave ovens in the room. The nighttime cars come and go. It’s often noisy. There is no elevator in the hotel. It is inconvenient to climb the stairs and luggage. So you can ask if there is a room on the first floor that is not along the street.

This hotel was a nice surprise. Being one who prefers more high-end, full service hotels, I was a little hesitant to book this one for a stay in Beverly Hills. Having enjoyed my previous stays at other AC properties, I thought I would try this one, as the price was right. The immediate area the hotel is in isn't that great - it feels a little desolate and there was a lot of street racing at night, but the hotel itself is wonderful! It feels new and clean, very modern and the staff were super! I was welcomed as soon as I arrived, and the staff were terrific the entire time. Anything I needed, they accommodated with pleasure. My room was wonderful - a lot of windows and light, bottles of water in the little chiller, beds were comfy. This is the kind of hotel you want to stay at during this time of Covid, as everything was immaculate. I absolutely loved the bath products - they smelled amazing! I didn't eat at the hotel, but there is a handy snack shop off the lobby that was perfect for grabbing bottles of water. The hotel has a cute pool deck on the top. It's not much, but was nice to have to enjoy the LA sun. I had a great stay here and will absolutely be back!

From the online photos, location, price, & exterior I expected a bit more than what I received. Arriving midday having to wait in a hallway for someone to show up behind the front desk 25 mins later, who was quite nice & quick, but with a request for a single bed high floor, I got a first floor room with double beds & the exterior stairwell down to the parking garage right outside the room window that had a large metal gate that was getting opened & slammed shut by the “wind” I was told, even though there was barely a breeze. was told they will send someone to secure it.....which took about 24 hours apparently. The room was disappointing, very basic & felt cramped compared to other properties I’ve stayed. The most upsetting/disappointing part of the whole experienc was our departure. It was a quiet Sunday when it was time to checkout & I had asked what my later checkout options were(I’m a Best Western member as well) & was given the standard “we can offer you until noon” with no other options, so I took that. Now, yes, due to a suitcase deciding to not want to zip closed anymore & having to now repack an entire full suitcase into other bags, we ended up going past noon but starting at 11 with housekeeping knocking at the door, informed that we have a late checkout at noon. Promptly at noon knocks again and we tell her just 5 more mins, so she parks her cart in front of our door making it almost impossible to get by with our bags. I start moving things to the car as my travel partner is finishing the final small things & the manager or front desk staff I’m not sure who she was but she comes to tell me”l you were given noon checkout and it’s past that & housekeeping is on limited time” as my arms are completely full with bags & two suite cases. I tell her we are getting everything out now. As I come back in is when the suitcase explodes & we as quickly as possible get that repacked & I take the last bit out to the car while my partner just checks to make sure nothing is left & as I come back in the staff member from the front again from down the hall “excuse me sir, it’s 45 mins after your checkout time & housekeeping is now behind because she has more than your room to clean, she’s only 1 person with all of these rooms to clean & now she is behind cleaning all the other rooms waiting for you” makes no since, why not go to the next room! And then as we are leaving she makes a point from down the hall “I’m charging you a late checkout fee”

This was our second time staying at the Beverly Laurel and was just as good this time as last time. Adorable motor hotel that makes you feel like you were staying in a vintage motel. Cute pool with toys, beach chairs and towels in the middle courtyard. Rooms are simple but have everything you need. The bathrooms are all tile, huge and super clean. The front desk staff is wonderful and they offer valet parking for an additional cost. The motel is located on a corner and close to a residential area where you can find metered parking too. Make sure you visit the diner that is on the corner. It is open until 4 am and is always busy. The food and service is fantastic. Motel is a 10 minute walk to the Grove shopping area and a few minutes drive to the Hollywood tourist attractions.

We stayed in LA for just 3 nights but we were delighted with our choice of the Friendship Motor Inn and our experience with the manager (unfortunately I did not get his name). My 4 star rating is directly attributed to his great customer service as I believe customer service is fundamental in any hotel, or business experience for that matter. The manager made check in simple and was always happy to give us information on LA, tell us stories, and generally help out. He seemed to work 247, he'd be at breakfast in the morning (breakfast was fairly good, not a great selection but enough to keep you going) and we'd then even see him doing laundry in the late evening! Other than the customer service, the room was nice, we were on the second floor, we didn't drive but there appeared to be plenty of parking. The heater was good and we had a microwave and fridge amongst a comfortable bed and other good amenities including good TV channels. It is situated in an okay part of LA, and the transport to and from the motel via the Metro was good enough (there are some stops nearby). Unfortunately, there aren't many grocery stores in the vicinity, and the nearest fast food chains are about a 10+ minute walk away. Housekeeping was good and overall we enjoyed our stay. The only issue was probably the location, but if you have a car then I don't see anything wrong with this place!

I’m so appreciative that there exists a hotel that values customer service. It was a girls weekend and knowing much wasn’t going on in the city I called for an early check in to enjoy the pool and our hotel experience. We checked in early and Odie was wonderful, I had spoken to her she remembered me and hooked us up and upgraded our room and treated us like Queens and gave us recommendations for things to do within the distance of the hotel. The hotel is beautiful love the vintage room vibe they’re very inviting and comfortable with the fireplace and small kitchen we had everything to enjoy a wonderful and relaxing day and loved the view. Thank you Odie for a great experience we’ll be back soon💕

This motel surprised me. Rooms were clean and well cared for. Obviously well managed. Diverse clientele and a neighborhood with lots of options for food and entertainment. I expected a bit more than a single bar of soap, but then this is Motel 6. From that perspective, I can say, clean, well managed and very reasonable rates for the LA area. I felt safe coming in at all times during day or night.

Did someone once say it's about location? This may be the best location of any hotel in L.A. Well, what does best mean? Convenience for me. One of the few places in L.A. where you don't have to drive, you can walk to a whole lot of things. Walk up the block you have Sunset Blvd - bars, clubs, restaurants, and upscale shops. Walk down the block you have Santa Monica Blvd - bars, clubs, restaurants, neighborhood shops. Another 5-minute walk past SM Blvd is Melrose Avenue - bars, restaurants, upscale shops, design industry stores. Walk another 5 minutes past Melrose is Beverly Blvd - bars, restaurants, the sterile but popular Beverly Center shopping center. Walk another 5 minutes past Beverly is 3rd Street - restaurants, cafes, quirky stores. Dissecting these streets are Robertson Blvd and La Cienega Blvd - bars, restaurants, cafes, upscale shops, art galleries. Walk 5 minutes west of the hotel, you hit Beverly Hills city limits - very nice neighborhoods for walking, jogging, biking. Walk another 20 minutes, you're in downtown Beverly Hills. You can take the free WH City shuttle to the center of Hollywood and explore there. Pick it up at the WH Library - 5-minute walk from the hotel. Only thing I wish the hotel had was more referals for local dog-walkers. I travel with my dog and met someone around the block from the hotel who was walking a couple of dogs. He hadn't walked any hotel guest dogs even though he lived around the corner. Knew the minute I saw him he'd be great for my Pit-mix. After talking to him, I arranged that he took care of Duke for the rest of my trip. You know how some people's body language says trust, love, in control, enthusiastic, knowledgeable. Duke loves him. And there are dog parks for Duke around here, too! I'll be back.

Every 2-3 hours I see a few cleaning ladies using elbow grease to maintain a sanitized establishment and thank you for that. I stayed at the Lexen after I was hit by a freight liner truck and went to the hospital. I didn’t want to go home to my family for safety reasons and I booked a room. Very very clean. I was so happy to feel like I was in my own clean home. No breakfast even though they offer it but it’s understandable why no breakfast at this time. Thank you for taking the fear out of my stay.

The plane was booked here at six o'clock in the morning. It is very close to the airport. There is a shuttle bus to and from the airport. It seems to run at least every half an hour, and it is convenient to arrive in about 10 minutes. The standard room has two beds. The bed is quite large and can sleep two people. There seems to be no place to eat around the hotel, but it doesn't matter if you just catch a plane. It feels pretty quiet and will not be noisy by the sound of the plane, that is, the sound of the air conditioner is a bit loud, but it is not cold before turning off. An additional deposit of $ 50 was charged at the time of check-in. At present, two days after check-out had not been refunded to me. It said that it was 5-7 days. In short, this price is not bad, it is recommended to catch a plane.

I went to the United States to test the SAT. On the first day, I rented the box in the trunk on the first day. Everything was inside. Then the front desk helped me check the video, helped me check the taxi company’s official website, and helped me to call. Helped me find the driver, and then because I was too late, I asked me to contact me the next morning, and wrote the complete information for me. The next day I went to the game and found that the front desk had the wrong number, and then the manager was on duty that day. When I heard it, I immediately called me again, helped me get everything done and communicated to the driver step by step. After 2 hours, the driver returned the box (paying the driver 30 dollars) Really, it’s really friendly and welcoming. I didn’t even think that the box would come back. It’s really a big compliment. For other information: There are 3 people at the front desk, the manager is Johnny, one speaks Chinese and the other is unclear. The location is quite good, although this area is a Mexican place, but unlike Houston, which is full of dangers like tramps, it is safe and quiet at night. If you go to the SAT, go to the examination room for 6 minutes. Left and right, if it is accommodation, it is a good choice, there is a 7-11 convenience store at the door, and a few streets down is Chinatown. The room was very warm, the bed was very soft and comfortable, not an apartment was a small house, I booked the most common one, one bed and one table, then the floor was wood, the bathroom was very clean, the air conditioning thief was strong

1) W Hotel LA can be booked at the price of 3290 (tax included) / 3 nights / double bed. It was quite affordable. At the time of booking, Ctrip's price was much lower than Agoda and booking. It was a bit scary. Afraid, get the hotel's confirmation number and rest assured. 2) Good location, in West Beverly, near UCLA, in a very safe location ... from the airport, it will take about 20mins. 3) The room is really big! Cost-effective thief! There are several disadvantages: first: all the lights in the room must be turned on and off by themselves, which is inconvenient; second: it is not particularly friendly or the shower head is fixed and cannot be adjusted, and it is very high, and it is very small It's inconvenient for children and the water is quite big ... Third: It's too dry in the room, we didn't dare to turn on the air conditioner, it's still so dry, and the room is much colder than the outside ... It's strange. In summary, next time I come to LA, if I can still get it at such a favorable price, I will definitely choose again!

This is a Hilton hotel, well located and close to the airport. It is in the same district as Sheraton Four Seasons, and there is also a shared shuttle bus. There are three or four hot dishes. Tips for bacon and fried eggs need to be given. The room is large with one bedroom and one living room. For tourists with children, it is very good and there is enough space for activities. The hotel has been around for a long time, but the facilities are well maintained. Business is also good. The hostel is clean, spacious, orderly and free of moisture. Their baths, toilets, washrooms and changing rooms are arranged together. The rooms are large and breathable, and the second floor is male and the third floor is female. There is a reasonable part of this design is that you can go at any time. The toilet does not affect the passengers resting in the house. Although it is not convenient to get up at night, I still like this design very well, and it solves the problem of humidity in most youth hostels. Every morning and evening there will be many waiters to do hygiene and the guests staying at the hostel also have the habit of cleaning up the debris. So the hostel is really clean (I have stayed in youth hostels in many countries.) The entire hostel ’s housing and The public event space has two floors. The corridor and event area and the room for cooking and dining are very spacious and convenient. The washing machine, refrigerator, microwave, juice, coffee machine, and stove are all available; guests are arranged smoothly from check-in to check-out. Orderly.     Let's talk about transportation: The hostel is located on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, directly opposite the subway exit. There is an airport bus from Los Angeles Airport to the hostel. There are many thick cylindrical columns at the gates of the airport. The letters are arranged in 26 letters in English. , 3k, 4F, 5H, 6G, 7J, etc. In front of the cylinder, find a green sign with the word "FLYAWAY" and wait for the car. When you see the car going to HOLLYWOOD, get off and swipe your card (you can't pay in cash) for $ 8. After getting off the bus, go back to the first intersection and turn left for about 30 minutes. You will find number 6820. When you get back to the airport, wait for the airport bus.     Regarding payment: I paid a room rate of $ 40.7 one day earlier than I booked online, but the front desk said that I had to pay a total of $ 113, because I did n’t understand English and the other party did n’t understand why To overcharge, I would call Ctrip at this time, so he no longer insisted on giving me a room card. To be honest, I have stayed at this hostel for four days. I feel that they are very regular and very angry and there are many people staying there, so I carefully read the Ctrip order and wrote it at the end because the local tax rate will be charged separately. I Maybe it is because of this reason that the hostel has to charge another fee (California's tax rate is relatively high). When I travel abroad, I basically place an order on Ctrip. I feel that the price on Ctrip will be lower than the local one. Every time I get confused because of the speech barrier, but the actual housing conditions are often different from the one I placed when I placed the order. I ordered four women to give me eighties or no window. I saw a few more words because I saw online reviews and my roommates had doubts about this.

These guys have a maximum stay limit of two weeks, and I know why: If they didn't, nobody would ever leave! What I loved about this place is how they manage to have such a good balance. I have a decent amount of hosteling experience and I feel that often a place is either clean and strict, or relaxed but dirty, but this place gets it just right: It's super clean and well-taken care of, but at the same time the atmosphere as well as the management is super relaxed and chill. The guests are definitely not the typical "LA tourist" type, most of the people there seemed very individualistic, with the majority of them being solo travelers. They tend to keep themselves but are still up for a little chat. Again, it's the perfect balance. It's a friendly place but not a party hostel. In many hostel dormitories people come and go all night, turning on the lights and making a lot of noise, but this wasn't the case here. The lights went out pretty early, and whoever came in late would make an effort not to disturb the other people. Most of their rooms are regular dorms with bunk beds, but for just a few bucks more you can get a pod with a curtain and your own light, which I highly recommend. It's not always easy to get a good night's rest in hostels, but I slept really well here. Everything is very clean and there's a common area with plants and cozy warm vibes, it's all quite small but never feels crowded, even if they're completely booked. I would also like to add that I'm someone who struggles with all sorts of allergies, including dust and certain cleaning agents, and I had no issues here at all, which again speaks for the cleanliness of the place. Without a doubt one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at and probably the best deal you can get in LA. It's the sort of place you kinda don't want to tell anyone about because you want to keep it a secret, which is probably why nobody has written a review before ;)

We've stayed at Calamigos Guest Ranch multiple times and have never been disappointed. It's a truly special place where it's easy to be as relaxed or as active as we choose to be on a daily basis. We were planning to go back for spring break this year with our teenagers, but thanks to the coronavirus, our plans changed. I was so pleasantly surprised that we were offered a total refund, despite having to cancel within the cancellation window. I suspect this could be in part due to the fact that we are repeat guests, but it also shows a lovely human approach to the problem during very trying times for the hospitality business. This makes us want to return to Calamigos as soon as we possibly can---to spend our money supporting the wonderful people that work at this incredible resort. It's obvious that they care deeply about their guests. Special shout out to GM Sara for getting back to us so quickly via email during what I'm sure are stressful times. It's will be our pleasure to suggest this magical place to everyone we know.

On arrival we were greeted by Michael one of the managers who proved to be a friendly approachable guy only too willing to help, as was the lady (sorry I didn't get your name) on reception the following day. The hotel is full of character and a real reminder of days gone by. The rooms were spotlessly clean and more than ample. Their bar, the Edmon, is, as some others have described, well looked after and serves excellent food. Michael recommended the burgers and he was right! Delicious! Location wise? I suppose it depends on what you want to do. For us it was perfect because the hop on tour bus picks up a few minutes away from the hotel just past Paramount studios. The starline red bus picks up on North Gower Street and the big red bus picks up a little nearer on Vine St. They tour in a loop to all the usual tourist places. I.e. Sunset strip, Beverley Hills, Rodeo drive, right out to Venice beach and Santa Monica pier. Be aware though because the traffic in LA is horrendous. The 14 mile journey to Santa Monica took 3 hours each way! So plan on that if you're only on a short break. Much nearer are Sunset strip and Rodeo drive at about 5/6 miles. We booked Uber to take us to the Rainbow bar and grill, which cost about $35 in total . Any motorhead fans or fans of hard rock in general will know the attraction of this place! Of course Paramount studios are literally 60 seconds away from the hotel as is the entrance for the studio tour. In the opposite direction, and if you're a Laurel and Hardy fan, you can visit the iconic Music Box Steps in Silverlake. This can, if you don't mind, be walked to. At about 2.5 miles each way its doable if you're fit. Directions are easily found on Google maps and are easy to follow too! Just a few pointers about breakfast. Turn left out of the hotel and walk up Melrose past Paramount for about 7 minutes and the astro burger bar serves all the usual breakfast stuff. Very nice too! In terms of restaurants, again turn left and there are plenty to choose from if you want a change. If you want a chemist and as you turn up North Gower St you'll find a big supermarket with all the usual amenities that you find in the UK. If you haven't booked the shuttle for airport (LAX) journeys, be aware that if you need a taxi you'll need to factor in that LA traffic! Its 17 miles to the airport from the hotel so you'll need to be setting off a good hour at least before your earliest check in time. All in all a good hotel with nice staff who are only too willing to help. Well done!

Very unpleasant experience, I feel that I spend money in extra places, and I am not responsible for the work at the front desk. Because my credit card is a little problem, I used my husband’s pre-authorization and told them that we paid directly by cash. Don't buckle on the card. After we paid $84 in cash, we repeatedly asked if there was any cost. The other party said that it was gone. After two days, I found that the credit card was still deducted for $94, and I am still negotiating. In addition to the room rate, the so-called Amenity Fee is paid every day. In fact, it is a forced charge, and you have to pay whatever you use. Breakfast is not self-service, it is an order, you have to make up the difference yourself if you exceed the prescribed amount, and there are additional taxes. The parking fee is also very expensive... In short, all kinds of charges, all the costs add up to a better hotel. At that time, I booked a luxury city view room. I arranged it in a room with no scenery at first, and then went to complain about changing rooms. The room was facing the street and it was very noisy. In short, the two-day experience of living is very poor, and will not be chosen in the future.

This is a very basic motel in a VERY good location with free parking. Almost unheard of in the area. Our room was very noisey, but was big and had lots of light. We asked to move at first as the room was non smoking but the bathroom in particular stunk of smoke. We ended up staying in that room as it was much better than the dark grim downstairs one we were shown. Street noise is very loud, but we turned on the air con and it acted like white noise. We stayed in winter and were cold, night reception had poor English and hung up when our request for a blanket could not be filled. We thought the heater wasn’t working, but this turned out to be wrong, so was fine in the end. Good pressure in the shower, and they let us park for a couple of hours after we checked out while we got food beforet heading to the airport. The day staff were very accomodating trying to find a room to solve the smoke problem, but it’s clear people smoke at the bathroom window regularly. There were a lot of signs about the area being dangerous, but we didn’t feel uncomfortable or unsafe. If you are not worried about a bit of street noise and some smells, and are on budget, this is a good place for you.

This is a motel and parking is available. The hotel location is more convenient, the bus stop is 2 minutes walk to the Avenue of Stars, 1.75 USD. There are many restaurants nearby, but it is noisy because it is on the road. The room has heating, other facilities are relatively simple. There is a water dispenser at the front desk. Hot and cold water is provided free of charge.

A great choice to live in Los Angeles. Cost-effective. Very close to UCLA and Ralphs supermarket. The lamb chops in the hotel are also very delicious. The all-weather coffee and beverage buffet served directly from the nearby high-rated western restaurant. I was staying at the end of the term for a week. The reading in the lobby is really great. The price/performance ratio is very high. I will choose here next time I come.
