I stayed at the Hotel Spiaggia Marconi in Rimini from October 6 to 8. From the outside the hotel is nothing special, but I was pleasantly surprised with the interior. The building is rather small, with a small cosy terrace at the main entrance, and a parking lot behind. It is in the first row of the hotels to the large, long, well organized sandy beach. Only the road – Lungomare – separates it from the brach. I had a rather small, but nice and clean room on the 2nd floor, overlooking the sea. The room has everyhing needed, as well as the bathroom. The balcony is large enough for two (or even three people) to sit and enjoy the sight. The beds are comfortable, I came as a part of a group, and we were delighted by the two dinners we had. There was no choice of dishes for us, but we got soup, pasta, main dish and dessert. The food was excellent. The breakfast was also of good choice and quality. On the other side the hotel is on the main street with lots of caffes, restaurants and shops. It is not far from the marina, but the old city center is not reachable on foot. I would certainly choose this hotel for a shorter sightseeing trip to Rimini. However, as it has no pool, that might b a disadvantege for a longer stay/vacation out of summer season. In all, the Spiaggia Marconi is recommendable!

Me and my partner stayed in this hotel for 6 nights during the end of August. We paid £287.00 (it would have been more but we used some Expedia points as part payment) which included breakfast and a double room. The hotel is down a main strip, Via Regina Elena, which is also home to plenty of restaurants and small, independent shops. Our room overlooked the main strip and we had a partial view of the beach and a good view of the sea. The room had fantastic air conditioning, which was great after being out and about in the hot sun all day. You get given enough coins to cover breakfast for each day, they are redeemable in the restaurant area. The breakfast had a large buffet, with cold meats, cheeses, pastries, cakes, pesto pasta and more. The staff on the reception spoke good English, our Italian is non existent, so we had to speak in English and also use Google Translate to show them what we are trying to say. We had the same young lady working in the dining room for breakfast, she was pleasant, but on one of the days, we felt rushed into leaving. They have a time that the hotel guests are meant to leave the breakfast room but we were still eating, (we would have been 5 minutes maximum) she asked us to leave even though we were still eating and the room hadn’t been fully cleared yet. Club Meeting partners with several nearby restaurants, reception can give you a voucher for the partnered menu and the 10% discount for the a la carte menu. The Hotel also partners with a nearby spa, Aquadirose, for a certain price depending on the day you visit. The spa is very small (I did write a separate review of the Spa) it has a pool, a sauna, a relaxation room with refreshments, a cool water bath and a Turkish bath. The Spa provide you with a robe, towel and slippers. We got some drinks from the hotel bar, including Baileys. The receptionist could not understand what we were trying to order, fortunately there were some other guests in the lobby and they were able to help translate. When we checked out, they didn’t charge us for the drinks. We did mention the drinks, but the receptionist said it was okay. Rimini was busy with lots of non English tourists, which made us feel more immersed.

Room was ok, very good regarding cleaning and hygiene, but service was poor. Portions in the dinner were very small and the attitude of the waitress was poor. Was really disappointed. Will not go there for sure and I wouldn't recommend it.

Small pleasant hotel, very friendly staff. We spent two weeks at the hotel in late June-eariy July. Very tasty food in italian style. Good coffee and wine.Triple room was OK, but had little space for suitcases. The beds were comfortable. Sometimes unpleasant smell was in the bathroom. The hotel has its own parking, it is very good because parking in the streets was a problem. There is a bus stop nearby, the Rimini centre can be reached in about 20 minutes by bus. The beach is across the road from the hotel. Shops and cafes are also nearby.

Hotel is low budget, very dirrty, rooms are quite small, the beding is filthy and old. We stayed in room 81. TV isn't working. The bathroom is dirrty, there is a drain in the middle of the bathroom and you can flood the room while taking a shower. Breakfast is disgusting.

Modern, looks like it's been completely refurbished lately. Funky decor and perfectly functioning facilities in-room and at the hotel in general. Excellent service: I had booked a room in their residence but was upgraded to a room in their main building on the spot. I also needed some extra time at the hotel as was catching a flight from Bologna in the afternoon: the hotel management offered me a very late check-out (1:30pm) with no additional costs and, above all, without even me asking for it. I will most definitely stay there again when in Rimini. This is how a hotel should present itself and be run - no matter the star rating.

This hotel is so far the best in Rimini. Designed atmosphere, well-equipped rooms. The staff is very kind, helpful, and excellent problem solver. The management is the same. Breakfast was delicious, and various. The wellness area is cool. Heated pool, turkish and Finnish sauna. This hotel is not 3*, this is 4* hotel. The beach is 3 min walking distance. The airport bus takes u 10 min walking distance from the hotel. Many bus lines runs around the hotel. The nearest restaurants are very nice and really Italian. This is a pet friendly hotel.

My husband, my 3 kids, daughter in law, and 3 year old grandson stayed here for 7 nights. The rooms were nice, although small, as is normal for Europe. We had a nice view of the ocean. The room was well appointed, with safe and mini bar. The bathroom was large, but shower doors were folding, and made the shower feel small. Check in was easy, desk staff was nice enough, although we did get wrong info from them a couple of times. That was about bus schedules , though, which seem to change on a whim, so I can't blame them. The misses were with restaurant and staff. Breakfast was good, with lots of options. A yummy wheel of parmesan was my favorite! The first morning though, I wanted to bring tea and coffee up to the room, as we were still exhausted, and not ready to face the world. I made my tea, and asked for a cup of coffee to bring upstairs. The waiter told me no, with no explanation. I said I just wanted to bring it to my husband, who just woke up. Again he said no coffee, and something else in Italian. I said sorry, I don't understand, he shook his head and walked off, muttering, "Americanos" under his breath. Very rude. Another waiter gave me coffee, which I took up. Add it turns out, you aren't allowed to bring that up to your room, I assume so you have to pay the €4.5 fee for room service. Well, that was my bad, I honestly didn't see the sign. I apologized to him after we ate, adding he was fine. But he spoke English, as did other waiters, so someone could have explained it to me. It's a dumb policy, to me, but I'd have complied. The first few days the fruit was covered in fruit flies, and the pot of hot water was never hot. So, mostly a great stay, but better communication is needed.

The hotel is small and lovely located just near the sea. In the suite is modern well equipped kitchenette but we did not use it because there are plenty good restaurants nearby. The breakfast in hotel is wonderful, cheese, ham, bread, fresh fruit and berries, different croissants, coffee, everything was so good! The stuff is smiling and helpful, gym is ok and spa very relaxing.

We came here with my family for a week in mid-June. The hotel was already packed but the receptionists were always kind and made themselves available for any problem. The breakfast was rich and there was a vast range of choices. Lunch and dinner were included as well and the portions of food were perfectly satisfying, considering that there is also a buffet (mainly vegetables and "bruschette") before every meal. Both our rooms had been renewed recently and had perfectly working bathrooms. For the price we paid, it was definitely worth more than that. I would surely come back here if I were to stay again in this area.

Stayed here for 9 nights. This is a good hotel, not great. The breakfast was nice with plenty to choose from. The hotel seemed to be recently modernised and seemed more modern than most of the hotels in the area. The rooms are quite nice, but not very sound proof, we struggled to sleep because you can hear people up late talking or dogs barking (dog friendly hotel). The hotel is quite a long way from Rimini centre. You can catch the bus from outside the hotel, bus 11. Takes around 20/30 mins. It’s also close to the Miramare train station. Hotel is across the road from the beach. The indoor pool is good, but not as nice as the pictures. In my next stay in Rimini, I will stay closer the to centre. But if you are looking to stay in Miramare, this is probably the best hotel to choose. Most of the staff speak English.

My partner and I stayed here last month as part of a package break booked through EasyJet. We stayed for 3 nights, Thursday to Sunday with a half board booking. The room, whilst sparse, was very well cleaned, with a wardrobe, small desk and small tv on the wall. The ‘double’ room was in fact two twin beds pushed together, which did let the room down a little, however it was very well presented and the hotel looked as if it had undergone a recently renovation. The room was turned down each day and cleaned. A continental breakfast was included, which was as you would expect (croissants, meats and cheeses, fruit, yoghurt, breads, pastries and a selection of homemade cakes), and whilst the coffee machine wasn’t the best, staff were more than happy to provide freshly brewed coffee from the bar outside the restaurant. Dinner was a 3 course meal, with different options to choose from each night which were freshly prepared and supplemented with a buffet of hot and cold options, including meats, salads, soup and mussels. Always served with a very welcoming and friendly service. The food was delicious, and there was plenty. Fantastic pasta particularly, as well as the homemade desserts. The hotel caters in the main for local workers, mostly male, although there were a number of couples staying when we were there. The hotel was quiet, with no disruption, either at night or through the day. There is a small bar and seating area at the entrance to the hotel. Bear in mind there is a tourist tax that is payable on departure, per person per night. Overall, a great choice for a sightseeing break. Friendly and very accommodating staff making sure our break was relaxing and enjoyable. We would definitely return.

Great location in a humming neighborhood, literally a 2 minute walk to the beachclean, modern with all the necessary props, and the very best staff. Our dental emergency upon checkin at 3 o’clock on a Saturday afternoon was handled with compassion. The staff kept calling around until they found the only Clinic open, and willing to take an appointment- then organized transportation. We were overnight guests, a family group of 14, and were extremely grateful for that extra service. Grazie mille, vinaka vakalevu, thank you very much.

My initial thoughts of this hotel is that it was modern, clean and in a great location. I do think that my opinion could have been slightly swayed more negative given that my friend and I visited outside of the popular season. The room - basic and clean. Nothing special but big enough for two messy mid-20 ladies to get ready in the same space (Haha!). We were impressed with the shower and the size of the bathroom and balcony. There was no kettle or tea/coffee service available in the room. Unable to locate a fridge too but the receptionist assured us that there was one in the room. The breakfast - a large selection of traditional Italian breakfast served. We enjoyed the breakfast and the variety of choice. Morning staff were also polite and accommodating to any additional requests (I.e more coffee/cutlery). The receptionist staff - we didn’t have the best experience of an welcoming receptionist. When we arrived, we were told that a deposit would be blocked from our card. Absolutely fine. The receptionist then went on to quickly confirm the additional charges & blocks. When I asked what seemed like a reasonable question and for further clarification, the eyes were rolled and I was made to feel like my questions were unwelcome. We had noise issues both internally and externally in the hotel. When we advised the hotel reception of this the following morning (again - after a call of complaint in the middle of the night), the attitude was very “well what can we do about it”. We did not receive any apology and we were simply told that people “were just having fun”. Again - I was made to feel like my comments were unwelcome. My friend and I, after two nights of poor sleep due to noise and very poor air conditioning, decided that we did not wish to sleep in the room a third night and advised the hotel that we would be leaving. To our horror, the reaction of the reception was to ring up the hotel guests who they thought who had been causing the noise (even though we advised them it was outside too and were unsure what room or floor it was coming from) rather than being accommodating to us and offering to move rooms or even apologise. Very disappointing as this hotel has a lot of potential with the overall experience and location. We will not be visiting again.

If you're looking for a comfortable, well-priced and well-located family run hotel in Rimini look no further. I spent 3 nights at Villa Lalla and every staff/family was more helpful than the next. The bed was a little bit hard on the first night but when I asked to move to another room it was absolutely no problem at all - I was even upgraded to a bigger room (with a very comfortable bed!) I'm coeliac - once again no problem at all, they provided food for a gluten-free breakfast. But where they really excelled themselves was the evening where I tried to order a gluten-free pizza (the owner had even gone to the trouble of calling around different pizzerias to see who would deliver). So I ordered on JustEat and there was a problem with the JustEat delivery - the owner got on the phone to the pizzeria to see if they could deliver another one, if not he was going to send his staff member to get it for me! I've been living in Rome for 6 years and I've never seen such dedication to customer service in all the time I've been in Italy. What made it even better is that they actually genuinely care about their guests - it's a passion, not just a job - they're not just helping because they have to, they want to! Bravi! When looking for a comfortable, well-priced hotel in Rimini that's within walking distance to everything the city has to offer, look no further.
