0.12km from downtownWe were very impressed!! Everybody at the Hyatt was so friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. The room and property was clean and considering the great location; very reasonably priced. The location is fantastic, right next to Faneuil Hall Historical Sites, and the North End Restaurant Neighborhood. We'd highly recommend this hotel to anybody looking to visit downtown Boston!

0.13km from downtownI booked through Agoda.com and they screwed up my reservation. Unfortunately if you book through them you cannot change your booking dates if you want to add extra nights. You have to checkout and check back in and get charged the $50 incidental fee over and over again. Tristine and Carla fixed it and also helped me get points for a free night. Rigo their maintenance guy also fixed my TV when I was having issues with pairing my iPad through Google Chromecast. They were really nice about it and accommodating and I highly recommend staying here. It is so worth it! Don't book through third party apps and websites. Just book through them through their app. You get better rewards and benefits anyways.
0.16km from downtownAwesome historical hotel - the longest continuously operating in the USA. Despite its great age, it’s perfectly maintained. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff is very friendly. There is a restaurant offering delicious food and a gift shop where you can find souvenirs to bring home (the tea I bought there turned out to be surprisingly good). The hotel is located very convenient - mere steps from Freedom Trail and some of its stops, from Boston Common and Public Garden parks, from many shops, cafes and restaurants. I hope to return to Boston and to this hotel some day.
0.2km from downtownThe Kimpton Nine Zero Hotel, is in a great location close to shopping, The Freedom Trail, Beacon Hill, Faneuil Hall, theatre and restaurants. The staff is amazing very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We had a beautiful corner room with a fantastic view of Boston's skyline. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. This hotel offered a complementary happy hour and hot chocolate with marshmallows was always available in the lobby. There is valet parking on the property which was made effortless by the wonderful staff. I would highly recommend this hotel..

0.31km from downtownWe spent the first night of our honeymoon with XV Beacon 16 years ago and returned this year for a staycation since travel is so difficult now. What a wonderful oasis in the heart of the city. Really should not have waited so long to return. I say "with" instead of "at" because you feel so well cared for, it's not just a property. What has changed in 16 years? The addition of the roof deck which we enjoyed every day. What's not changed at all? Elegant and gracious service. Beautiful rooms, delightful amenities. Even though we live very close, we got to explore Beacon Hill as visitors, returning each day to be cossetted in luxury. The room service from Moo was wonderful. Car service is gracious, (thank you Mark!) and particularly helpful during this time. A deep soaking tub was my favorite part of the suite. Oh wait, maybe it was the bed covered in Frette linens? The bathrobe? No, it was the fireplace. Caviar service in our room! Who could choose? We arrived a little beaten down by the pandemic. We left refreshed and delighted to rediscover the city we love from a new perspective.
0.4km from downtownWould I stay here again? Absolutely! This is the friendliest hotel I've stayed at in the USA. From check in, bar staff, housekeeping everyone was lovely. Nothing was a problem, I had to borrow a power adapter from reception and when I mentioned there was no fridge in my room to keep some wine cold, 5 mins later one was put in my room! Great location, I could walk everywhere, good coffee in the cafe downstairs and an amazing cafe 'Bonjour" around the corner with great breakfast. There was a little bit of street noise but nothing too bad, I was on L6 with a nice view across the rooftops of Boston.
0.4km from downtownMy wife and I stayed at this Hilton while in town for a show. Several garages are within walking distance. Very convenient location for any type of travel in Boston. Staff were friendly, and the hotel was very clean!
0.45km from downtownThe room was very nice, but for a four star hotel I expected more from the room. For one, the HVAC Is loud, the air velocity out of the diffuser is too loud. My other MAJOR issue is that no refrigerator is provided. Rather, a fridge for overpriced goods is provided. Give me a break, this is not characteristic of a nice hotel. Nice hotels don’t attempt to nickel and dime customers.
0.46km from downtownWe stayed 8 days in August 2020 and we were very pleased with the Custom House. I was a bit concerned about staying in a high rise due to Covid but we were pleasantly surprised at the protocols the hotel has set up to ensure social distancing. The room was spacious and very nicely decorated. I also really liked that the hotel is so close to many great restaurants. I was able to park my car myself everyday right in front of the hotel, I was grateful the hotel did not require me to use valet (even though self park was just as expensive as valet parking, I did not want anyone entering my car due to Covid) The hotels provided 3 washers and 3 dryers free to guests. Housekeeping does not enter the room but they do bring up anything you may need such as towels, soap, shampoo, etc. There were a few things that annoyed me a bit but it did not affect my 5 star score...1) The Marriott Vacation club salesperson at the entrance of the hotel was a bit annoying. She was very nice but too persistent. I told her from the moment she first tried to feed me her sales pitch that I was not interested in any Marriott Vacation Club membership a/k/a Timeshare but each time she saw me she asked me if I wanted to participate in the 90 minute presentation. She offered me 20k Marriott rewards to just sit down with her and give her my information which I did and she never credited my account with the Marriott Rewards points. 2) Elevators - The building only has two elevators on the lower floors and they are more often than not used by the staff. When the staff was with a supervisor and the door opened they stepped out and allowed the guest to use the elevator. But when the housekeepers were alone they would never get out for us...this happened at least 6 times.
0.49km from downtownWhen I checked in at the hotel, she told the front desk that she wanted a quiet room. She saw that I liked the upper floors and arranged for me to the 17th floor. After entering the room, it was okay overall, but when I saw the sand-like marks in the sink and the sink when I went to the bathroom, it looked a bit uncomfortable. After returning the next day, the room was cleaned. Although the sink and the pond were not completely cleaned, the traces were almost gone. After staying there are many privileges, free soup or something. But daily fruits are not seen at the front desk every day. I have been to the gym but one of the bicycles failed to start. But the rest of the equipment is good, although the personal yoga space is a bit small outside. Overall, nearby activities are very convenient. Service attitude is also very correct.
0.5km from downtownLOCATION: Super close to Faneuil Hall and the aquarium waterfront. Walkable to north end and beacon hill. But then Boston is a very walkable city. Bikeable too: blue bikes are very close and we rented for The day and went to the Charles River, south seaport, public gardens, Newberry Street and The fens community gardens. QUAINT: this hotel is not like the big ordinary sterile ones. Our room had two brick walls with windows that opened and looked out on The city and the colored fountains. We could even see the ocean. Room 823 We did have a few maintenance issues in our room but the staff was very prompt to address them. Unfortunately The in-house restaurant and bar was closed due to Covid as were a number of other restaurants and shops in the city. The restaurants that are open are mostly empty. There are no crowds. There is very little traffic. Would definitely stay here again

Boston City Center
One of the cheapest, if not the cheapest centrally located Marriott, it’s good if you’re budget conscious but certainly a get what you pay for situation. Water in the room is $5 a carton and not an ideal set up if you plan on doing work. In house food options are limited but at least they’re serving right now. Location was great for my personal needs in the theatre district type area. The room was also quiet as I had requested so I was very pleased about this. It’s fine in a pinch but there are much better options in Boston and given they’re only slightly more expensive right now, I’d select another option. Not as good as my experience at the DC property which I thought was overall excellent.
Boston City Center
This was my second stay at this hotel. It always amazes me how magnificent (large) it is. It is really conveniently located. Very centrally located in between very touristy streets of Boylston and Park Plaza and walking distance to CBD area, while tucked away in a relatively quiet street one block away. I did not use the facilities other than the bar and coffee shop, which were great. The room I stayed in this time, a king size bed, was a bit small; the bottom of the bed was too squished close to the TV and wall. It should be okay for one person, but it would have been a bit difficult for two people. The air con was cranked to high and I couldn't find room temp controller. It was a hot summer stay and I did not mind it too much, except for one day when I stayed in my room to do a bit of work.
Hotel facilities are very good, the surrounding shopping malls and supermarkets are very convenient. When I was very close, I walked to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with my husband, walked through the Harvard Bridge, and saw a lot of running. I really love sports. The supermarket solved the breakfast, and the checkout at the checkout counter after breakfast was very delicious. There are major brands in the surrounding shopping malls, you can stroll around, less than 300 meters after the lobster burger shop, you must taste delicious. At the entrance of the hotel, the taxi to the airport price list of 38.5 US dollars a baggage total gave 40, before not to say more than 20, I doubled, and it is not clear why.
We just wanted to thank you for a wonderful weekend at your hotel. I realize we're in a pandemic but your hotel (which was sadly very empty) went above and beyond to help us in any way. We had a great view from the 24th floor and the hotel is just steps away from the back bay, wonderful restaurants and lots of shopping. Our daughter is a student at northeastern and she was a 15 min walk from her campus. We will never stay anywhere else when we are visiting boston. Thank you to all the pleasant staff as they did the best they could to make us feel as comfortable as possible! Keep up the good work and we'll see you in the spring! We even enjoyed the snow and the cold weather since we're from Florida!
I had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. The rooms are medium sized but I was upgraded due to Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status. The in-room amenities were excellent and included bathtub, work desk and a flat screen TV. Beds were large and comfortable and blankets were really good. My main complaint is with the air-conditioning unit. It was noisy and placed on the ground, thereby leading to inconvenience and vibrations. Not to mention that the angle of the vent was also odd. There is a nice restaurant on site which is open till late night. Food is good and value for money. The hotel has a pool table, outdoor game area and many conference rooms. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider going there again especially for the views of the Boston Seaport and reasonably priced rooms.
The male staff in the evening shift is very friendly, very patient, always smiling, and the service is very good! It rained outside and I also borrowed an umbrella for me. The room was great,
my room was on the top floor, there was a balcony in the room and the bed was very comfortable!
The location is very good, just in the city center, to various attractions, shopping and shopping, the surrounding restaurants are very convenient, it should be the best hotel I have ever stayed on this trip!
If you have the chance to go to Berlin again, you have to choose this hotel!
