First of all, when we asked her about driving in Granada’s restricted circulation area, Maria at the reception had a defensive and somewhat "arrogant" attitude. We just wanted to know if the hotel bill or theirs could be passed. If mediation can be requested, it reaches our claim that we enter the hotel well through the mobility restricted routing loop. We just want to know if they can tell us to solve this problem, but we get a defensive attitude and "hand washing . We appreciate the superficial cleanliness of the room and we found a used mask under the bed! It is worth mentioning that breakfast is 10 o'clock, so if they are overwhelmed, we have to queue for half an hour to get in. Workers’ general concern, except for the receptionist Maria, 10

Hotel location is good, the side is the monastery, there is no parking space to stop the paid parking lot, 20 euros a day, we are four hours a day, receiving 28 euros. The room is OK, breakfast is average but no problem. The hotel is a 20-minute walk from the Old Town and the Cathedral, 9.5 Euros (10 minutes) to the Alhambra, and a 40-minute walk (the mountain road is not easy). It is said that you can take the bus.

A strategic place to visit the city, nice apartments with a lot of space, very very clean in a small street in the hearth of the city center. All the shops are nearby, you can buy anything in 2 minuts and cook in the nice kitchens of the apartment. In five minutes you will reach the hearth of al-Albycin. It is not in the old city, but just next to it, it is cheaper and ideal to explore every corner of the city.

We loved this place.Stayed there for 2 nights. The interiors are very well decorated, we had our small living room right there, a bottle of wine and a small balcony. It was pretty charm. Quiet at night. You have all the amenities of a 5 start hotel. it has a small elevator and we had our room on the 2nd floor. The lady helped us find the place over the phone, as it is located on a small side street and staff was very helpful all the time. They leave at night so be sure not to miss your code. You can have coffee, beer and other things right there, at an extra cost, check their hours. Great location also, near El Corte Ingles, and very close to Plaza Mariana Pineda, where you can go for breakfast very early in the morning, and walking distance to where all the bustle is. It can be hard to find on a GPS, but taxi drivers usually know where it is. We just had an issue with our car, which was quite large, and had to park it like 5 blocks away at an extra 15 Euros per night. Never used it again during our stay in Granada. I really recommend you visit this side of Spain on foot, not much luggage, and rely on public transportation. If a car is a must take a small one.

Bath and toilet are separated from wet and dry, with heating and Yuba. The underwear that was washed the night before was done the next morning. The hotel has a small exterior but the room is spacious enough. It is convenient to eat, shop and buy desserts around. It is a 26-minute walk from the Alhambra and a 11-minute taxi ride. No shoes, you can borrow from the front desk. There are free instant coffee and tea bags.

This is our best stay in four cities in Spain! The apartment has recently been renovated and looks very new and clean. It has a home feel, especially for our Muslims, apartments with a Muslim-inspired style are more attractive! The apartment is only 5 euros from the Alhambra, and it is only 10 minutes from the back of the Alhambra to the St. Nicholas Lookout. It is only a ten minute walk from the St. Nicholas Lookout. And there are many beautiful squares and buildings near the apartment, it is worth staying for a few days and feeling slowly! The most important thing is: the homeowner is very enthusiastic. Not only does he take the initiative to display the map of Granada, but also introduces us to the classics that are worth playing, the taxi fare, and a large bottle of champagne. Although we didn’t drink it, the inner thanks are full. !

It's the most disappointing hotel in this trip. It's a general chain business hotel. There were no napkins or tea bags in the room. It's recommended that you stay at hotels near Alhambra Palace if you go to Grenada. The parking garage is on the right side of the main entrance of the hotel. When you arrive, temporarily park there, finish check-in, and then park your car in the garage.

Hotel location is very good, there is a small square in front of the hotel, the hotel is in the downtown area, there is a bus stop to the train station opposite the square. Hotel facilities are also relatively new, the fly in the ointment is that my room is not located on the street, close to the location of the trash can on the right side of the hotel building. The room is also small, on the 2nd floor, not as big as the photo. The windows are naturally afraid to open, and the trash can is under the window sill. Bathing equipment is OK, no slippers.

1/ location: it’s not right smack bang in the main tourist area but i kind of liked that - the main tourist attractions are still within hoofing distance away. there is a grocery store a stones throw away, and healthy food options within the hostel (shares the same area as the front desk) and next to the hostel on the main street. 2/ room and amenities: since i booked a private room, i didn’t need to share it with anyone. but as other reviewers have covered, the layouts are odd. in my room which had 4 beds, 2 twin beds are side by side and the bunk beds very close to it, and the sink in front of the twin beds. it’s one thing to be sharing such a room with friends/family, but another if you’re all solo travellers. i’m not sure if the layout will work and i for one will be very uncomfortable. also mentioned are the showers which run for 15 sec intervals and requires constant pushing of the knob to get water going. it’s an inconvenience but as the hostel name suggests, their ethos is being ecologically friendly and economical. same with the motion sensor lights in the corridor that flickers off after several 10 seconds if there’s no movement. take it or leave it. otherwise the room was clean, and bed was comfortable. 3/ staff: the reception staff are very friendly and helpful. i fell ill on my second day of the trip and they were helpful guiding me to get the right meds at the farmacia. of special mention is claudia (?), she is absolutely the best. she is great providing tips on where to go for tapas etc and transport arrangements. where she isn’t sure, she will promptly follow up with the right info after checking. and she does it with a smile on her face. i faced one big issue with staying in the first floor - there are 3 ways of going to the rest of the dorms on the higher floors and common area: (a) taking the lift from the ground floor, (b) entering the hostel from the first floor through the main road entrance and (c) entering the hostel from the ground floor, climbing the stairs next to the front desk to the first floor through a fire escape door and then taking the lift up. if people enter via (c), the fire escape door slams shut very hard and it will caused my room door to shake every single time. this seems to happen very often and is very disruptive when people come back late and the loud jolt wakes you up. i found that very unpleasant and frustrating unfortunately. lastly, i found the hostel family dinner held by eco to be significantly more expensive than those organised by other hostels that i’ve stayed in (some being free and some charging up to 5 euros). here they were charging 10 euros for paella. overall, decent hostel but there’s defo room for improvement.

The breakfast is rich, freshly squeezed orange juice is very good, the hotel staff is warm! We are three people, booked in Ctrip, have arranged an extra bed when arriving at the hotel, very satisfied, the room is large, the suitcase can be tiled! The hotel is very close to the high-speed exit and there is an underground car park that is very safe. We went to the city and the Alhambra for a taxi. The hotel can call the car because the road in Granada is very narrow. We are not very confident that we drive. This hotel receives tours. Consider dinner at the lobby bar or in the lobby restaurant. The service is especially good, the staff is also very good at English, and the paella is delicious!

The accommodation had everything we were looking for. The room - eventhough quite small and dark (ground floor facing tiny courtyard) - was cozy with enough storage space, had nice and clean bathroom with spacious shower, ideal for two night stay. But, as usual, there is almost no soundproofing when it comes to door. Our room was the first in the corridor from the reception so it was really noisy even during the night - earplugs are essential. Moreover eventhough the night temperature was pleasantly low outside, we had to use A/C continuously since it was not possible to get a fresh air from the little courtyard where our window was facing to. The air there was not moving at all and all the noisy outside A/C units were heating it up in addition. We wanted to stay in the city centre with parking possibility - this hostal provides both. Parking is not cheap but it is an underground parking lot in the traffic restricted area, so it is understandable. The location is great with 10 minutes walk to both Alhambra and Albacín and with so many nice bars and bistros packed with locals everywhere. Overall the hotel is more than reasonably priced, clean and is taken care of by a friendly staff.

Noisiest accommodation ever. Our first night was generally noisy but we resisted complaining. The next night was a doozy. We were in Room 301 which was directly under the plumbing of the room above.Their jacuzzi went on at midnight and vibrated throughout our room, all water from the above plumbing could be heard gushing down the pipes in the wall behind our bed.The staff were informed and came to investigate, identified the noise was coming from the jacuzzi and asked them to turn it off. Along with this was the noisy aircon which couldn’t be left on during the night. Lots of noise from the entry courtyard below too. We also had issues with our jacuzzi which were fixed promptly, we were provided with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine which was a kind gesture from the staff. Such a disappointment in a charming old building and great location. 5% discount was given on check out but this was poor consolation given the dreadful night we had.

The best with the Albergue are its no-nonsense layout, cleanliness, and helpful staff in a dorm-like setup. From what we saw, we may speculate the premise is under Andalusia public management catering to a wide variety of guests on top of the usual tourists. All around, facilities and services are adequate, well thought out, to the point, no-frills, and clean. Accommodation includes a buffet breakfast. Even hard pressed, we can't think of anything we didn't like. One consideration may be location wise, the albergue is about 10 minutes of walk from the Granada Railway Station while about half an hour on foot or 15 minutes by bus to city center where most of the activities are.

We went to Granada for couples days exploring and stayed in this hotel over night, which booking through their official website. It’s located edge of the city, away from all busy streets and noises. The reception staff was very friendly and could help us checked in early so that we can go to Alhambra on time. Room very clean and spacious. It has free safe, mini freezer, hair dryer, tv but no English channels. Bed very cozy and comfy we had really good sleep. It was very quiet through the night even this hotel just beside traffic road. Because we booked through their website, so the breakfast was included. The breakfast has plenty food you can choose from. Overall experience we received from this hotel, it’s definitely recommended and we would back to stay here again.

Good location, convenient to eat around, have Chinese food, walk to Agong more than 20 minutes, but climbing is very tired, although the hotel is Samsung, but the decoration style is very modern, five floors have five colors of style, we are the second floor, blue The color tone is very beautiful. The disadvantage is that the breakfast tastes good and the coffee is especially difficult to drink. This is rarely the case in Europe.

The most cost-effective hotel in Spain, the price of 500 nights is too good! First of all, the location of the hotel is very good, just get off at the airport bus puerta real station, there is a bus stop to the bus station at the door, the taxi is also 7 euros. Secondly, the Burger King and Donut Shop near the hotel can have breakfast, walk to the downtown commercial street for a few minutes, walk to the St. Nicholas Lookout for less than 30 minutes, take the c30 to the Alhambra for ten minutes. Then, the hotel is very new in decoration, it is gray high-grade, there is a gym, there is no free drinking water, no toothbrush slippers, and many Europeans are gone. Finally, the front desk value of the hotel is particularly high, and there is a handsome guy who is the most handsome man I have ever seen in Spain. Another male front desk person is particularly good, the map has always helped us introduce the tour route, said the special details haha, and told me that Starbucks can buy coffee to go to the bathroom haha, people are particularly good!

I really enjoyed the location which was overlooking Granada and was on the hill side next to the Alhambra. Views from the room and the breakfast area were stunning. The Alhambra is 10-15min walk away. Breakfast came in variations depending on the price and was good but did not offer the biggest variety. The room generally was clean but had some hair on the floor. The double bed came with 2 matraces and was thus a bit unusual for normal hotel standards (normally 1 big mattress). The wifi worked just fine. The shower was hot and the bathroom had all it needed with the exception of a hairdryer. Lovely decoration in public areas and the room. Breakfast was served from 8-11am —- as I had a ticket to the Alhambra at 9am this did not leave me much time to enjoy breakfast (walk of 15min and you have there 20min earlier).

Where do I start??? Greeted by a very rude, unfriendly receptionist on NYE. Coughed in our faces with his coat on. Our room was almost the size of the bed!! The beds were twin and not the double that we booked. That’s ok. We can live with that...but the blanket had a cigarette burn in it and the beds/mattresses were extremely lumpy and uncomfortable. The room had a dripping noise that ran all night long and we heard every shower/flush noise coming from above! The walls and doors were paper thin so we may have been in a backpackers hostel. We heard very cough etc from the rooms next door. We told reception about the beds the next morning and they kindly moved us! Little did we know they moved us to an even worse room!!!!!! The bed was minuscule (but mattress ok). The bedside tables were absolutely filthy (see photos) with tabaco and hair and fluff in the grooves (gross). The hearing didn’t work, so we had to sleep with our jumpers and socks on. The shower room had mild in the corners and the shower head kept flying off the hook every time you used it. We then curiously looked under the bed to find a minefield of more filth. I went down to reception at 4am to complainandn ask for the complaints book..this wasn’t given to me... I was asked to wait until the morning where I could be bribed NOT to write in it!!! He offered us 25 percent of the booking... which was about 45 euros back!! We paid nearly 200 euros for 2 nights! My father paid for this so-called treat for our Xmas present in Granada. I dare not tell him it was absolutely awful. A nightmare! We didn’t sleep for 2 nights! It totally ruined our ‘romantic’ getaway in Granada and was a horrendous start to our new year! My partner and I work hard all year round to have little breaks away, but this was one of our worst experiences we have known. I felt dirty and disgusted leaving this property. They tried to make it better by offering us their cheap and nasty breakfast (worth a tenner) as we were leaving. I wouldn’t eat there if you paid me! There were insects crawling in reception as we were signing the complaint book!!!! We’ve stayed in many 1 and 2 star hotels, but this was unbelievable. It had no standards!!the boss tried to make excuses...like the receptionist wanted to go out on NYE etc that why he was in a foul mood...and they were extra busy so the cleaning was rushed?? And the building was an old building and that’s why it’s not soundproofed!!?? I can’t stress enough how tired and upset we felt leaving this hell-hole. I would have not accepted anything less than a full refund!! And an apology! I’m glad we filled in the hojas (complaints book)! People need to know this place is not acceptable! I wouldn’t put my worst enemy in one of these rooms.. please see photos... blanket burn, dirty bedsides, mould in bathroom, underbed dirt, etc...if I could add the video of the noise we had to endure for 2 nights I would! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE!!!!

We had a decently-sized room on the 2nd floor with a single king-sized bed. The good: The hotel was easy enough to find in Granada, although we almost missed it because it used to be called YIT Casablanca. The room was big and the shower was as well. There were charger outlets on either side of the bed. There was an AC. The Wi-Fi was good. Strong signal, good speed. We didn't try Netflix but regular browsing was fine. The bad: Parking cost 18€, which is sort of understandable given the location. However the parking garage is not easy to find and the whole place is a mess of one-way streets. Also, don't bring a big car. The room was very sparsely appointed. There was no fridge, no drawers anywhere although there was a closet. We visited in February, the high for the day was 7°C and the heater mode on the AC barely worked. We were ok during the night but needed a hot shower immediately after waking up in the morning. Don't expect much of a view. Overall, we would visit again.

This pension was one of the few small hotels with rooms available on their website 8 months in advance. Many small hotels don’t post anything that early. Anyhow, the reservation went without a glitch and I got my confirmation right away. Its location was excellent, just behind the cathedral, along a pedestrian shopping street, right in the center of town and therefore easy to find and within walkable distance of all attractions. Note that it is on the Corpus Christi parade route (both the one with the Tarasca & giants and the religious one). So you can watch them from the balcony in the main office. On arrival early afternoon, I was greeted very politely in English. The woman also spoke French. I was given my key to a single room on the next floor. Note that the reception is on the 1st floor and all rooms are above that. The stairway in the entrance looked great but the ones to top floors definitely could use an update. There is no elevator. My room was small but clean, consisting of a bed (decent mattress), night table, sink, small table for suitcase, small tv. It also had air conditioning but only one electric plug. Two plain white towels were supplied but no toiletries. Wifi was practically non-existent in that room (had to go down to the reception to get a signal). Bathroom was next door. It was clean and hot water was plentiful in the shower. Previous travellers had left some shampoo bottles behind to be used by others. Walls were on the thin side in spots. I could hear one neighbor but not the other. Breakfast was minimal: mini-croissants and mini-muffins + tea, coffee, orange juice. It was available starting at 9:00 when the office opened. In the small living room, there was a tea/coffee corner available all day. No fridge or microwave for customers but I was told it was possible to have things put in a refrigerator at the back. Plenty of shopping around with also lots of restaurants, ice cream shops, small grocery stores. Best supermarket was less than 1 km away at the Cortes Ingles. Overall, a decent 2-star hotel in an excellent location with very reasonable rates and good staff. Only the wi-fi was somewhat deficient and the breakfast too light. But I would go back again.

The balcony was inaccessible until mid afternoon on our second day and despite us highlighting to the owners that we had in fact paid more for access to the balcony no compensation was offered. They also said on two occasions that it would be fixed, first within a couple of hours of our arrival and then when we would return from dinner before finally being fixed in the afternoon the following day. Limiting us to have breakfast and evening drinks on the tiny kitchen table. Kitchen is not ideal, no bread or sharp knives, toaster just cooks the bread to a crisp before browning and no drying rack or cloth that we could find. Main bed is just a mattress on the floor and the sofa bed is uncomfortable. Only sheets and one spare pillow were available for the sofa bed. Due to the height of the main ‘bed’ it gets incredibly warm even with the air conditioning. Shower is also tiny, so be prepared for the curtain to stick to you the entire time. There are much better places available in much more ideal locations for the same price. Granada itself is well worth a visit! I’ve already booked another week in October, but obviously staying elsewhere.

The staff of the hotel are all very friendly. We got a large, renovated room, unfortunately right above the main entrance. But since no balcony is available and the air conditioning system works very well, this was not a problem. In addition, the road is not busy at night. The pool is not very big, but most guests visit the Alhambra and therefore have little time for the pool. The car can be parked *** in the hotel garage. The breakfast is good, the offered snacks at the bar are not recommended. The location of the hotel "next to" the Alhambra is fantastic. Two minutes and *** is at the main entrance, and if *** has timely bought tickets on the Internet, *** can begin viewing immediately. *** in the old town on foot needs about 1/2 hour. The way back by taxi costs about EUR 7.00.
