|0.06km from city centerWe chose this hotel for being of economic category, as we wanted to enjoy the trips more, but we were surprised. The staff's care was exceptional, we were all very good. A good breakfast, with tapioca and omelet made at the time, we just didn't cut the coffee time, because many tours started early and the coffee started late, we ended up losing a few days of coffee. The room is small, but it served us well for what we needed, the TV was not working, but we did not need it, so much that we didn't complain with the reception: for the common areas it has a pool, a barbecue, a kitchen. As our idea was to walk, we did not take much advantage. I believe it is a good option for who will spend the days on the tours or on the beach, the cost x benefit is a lot!

Another thing we don't like was that they exchanged bed and towels every 3 days, i.e., our room was never clean during our stay. It is also very good, it is a good breakfast, a relatively large room with fridge, microwave and pia, that for us who were with a baby was great, they are expanding another banner of rooms.

Near the hostel, you have supermarkets, pharmacies, car rental, gasoline station, Church of Our Lady of Desterro, numerous restaurants, bars, kiosks, dress and accessories stores, ice creams, sweets, coffee shops, the hostel is very well structured, with a splendid panorama view, in the third floor and the building cover, mainly at night with sea view. The breakfast is served in the third floor, also with outer area. The coffee is very good, well diversified, with quick rest, very educated service, The apartment, like flat, is good, with suitable size, air conditioning, flat TV, spacious bed, comfortable, two good dressers, for guests, good dressing (but, as in any hotel or hostel, few cabins), kitchen with all the necessary tools for a fast lunch, with freezer (not freezer), suitable size bathroom, with good shower. The room was cleaned, the bathroom and the common spaces: note ten, congratulations to the cleaners. All staff in the hostel are congratulations. , I forgot to talk: I was in the hostel in outubro/novembro/2023 with a group of ten adults (best age), family of my wife. The room was very comfortable and very comfortable. I told the reception but they never fit it. The lights are dressed as one walks. But as ours did not stick that area was always dark. Food is good. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. The buffet dinner was a buffet option for choosing chicken, meat and fish, some salads, sauce fideos, rice, soups and something else. |4.77km from city centerMy stay at ViVa Porto de Galinha was barely reasonable. The hotel is smaller than it looks like in the pictures, there are only 2 restaurants (beach snack and buffet). The staff is friendly and helpful but the environment is messy, dirty tables, glasses and plates with leftovers anywhere not being picked up does not give a good sense of cleanliness. The local music is played loudly all over the pool areas so if you are looking for a nice place to relax, sleep and enjoy the sea sound, this is NOT the place for you. Food is OK but not great, it is fresh but lacks of flavour which is strange for the northern part of Brazil. Again, service is friendly but not fast. Normal is to order a drink and wait a lot until staff remember you actually ordered something. Beach is OK but the sun beds are old and in bad conservation. The room is outdated and resembles a very decadent hotel rather than a resort. Airco is not strong enough for the rooms and the toilets at the ground floor are a real sauna. There are many other resort options in the area and I strongly recommend to explore a bit; this one looks nice on tripadvisor but would never should be rated above 3. It’s a pity, especially when you expectations are high for a one-time-a-year-holiday and the experience delivered does not match your expectations. Bottom-line: Lots of room for improvement and many wasted opportunities but definitely not value for money…

|0.06km from city centerWe stayed 8 days in this hostel.Positive points: near the center, the hostel is clean, air conditioning works well, wonderful shower, comfortable bed, room and bathroom with good space. Negative points: Although the room is spacious, it needs generally reform (picting the doors and exchange the floors that are broken ) improve the ventilation of the bad bathroom that is bad. Not: a dressing box, a toilet shower next to the vase, swap the bathroom waste with another pedal, as it is anti-hygienical to have to put your hand in the wastehouse to disregard the paper, swap the blackout that is full of holes, Switch the room lamp because the lighting is bad. On breakfast, the first day was very basic even with very few options (it had a day that had no butter, another thing butter should stay on the table and not the guest must ask) I noticed that with the arrival of more guests it improved the quality and choices of breakfast. It should not be so!!! Without a distinction of the number of guests the quality of breakfast must be maintained, because the guest is paying, it is not free. Another failure is that foods such as eggs, linguish and cuscuz are almost cold because the hostel does not keep the bay hot. Before you charge for a lingerie, you should buy new bed clothes and towels.

|2.85km from city centerIn our case it started with selection of the destination. Decision about particular hotel came later, but it was a very good choice. Solar hotel is located in calm area approx 3 km away from town centre (taxi 10-15 R$) where you can really enjoy the holidays. Facilities are including medium size nice swimming pool, quite big restaurant, kids club, spa&massages. There is also a place where you can play snooker, table football or table tennis. Local team is very supportive, however English is not the language used by many employees :) Possibly due to the fact 90-95? percent of the guests are local. Rooms arent spacius but are sufficient. Very clean. Food in the restaurant is good, however breakfasts seems to be oriented to locals, but Europeans will also find something to them. Lunch and dinner are OK, but only OK. We preffered in the evenings to go to center of Porto de Galinhas. Safety - hotel is secured. Swimming pool and beach have lifesavers. On the beach you dont need to worry about pickpocketers. Hotel offers the transportation from/to Recife. Regular personal car (up to 3 people) for round trip costs 550 R$ so we were ”forced” to select huuuuuge Mercedes Sprinter for 14 people only for 700 R$. Price/quality....each of us could get special offer, however we paid (expedia) approx 3800 R$ for two double rooms for bed&breakfasts (4 people) for 4 nights, and I consider this as good offer. OK, possibly if I would use local webpages then I could save few hundred reals...but...up to you Did I mention the beach? And waves sometimes going above 2m, but are so warm (not like in Rio where you face freezing cold 25 degrees :) )? Yup, the location is the paradise.

The B&B is so accommodating and went above and beyond to help us - including delayed suitcase by our airline, organising a great buggy trip, plus a lovely surprise for our honeymoon. The beach in front is a bit rough and choppy but it is lovely to dip your toes - just be mindful of currents. The food was excellent! We ate starters, main meals and had multiple cocktails and everything was always impeccably cooked and tasty. Oh and the 4pm coffee and cake is worth it! The rooms are good size, clean and simple - bed is super comfortable and so are the pillows. The only thing I mentioned it to reception as a comment, would be nice to have some complimentary coffee and tea in the room. Beach towels are also provided free of charge. Ao pessoal da pousada, muito obrigada por tudo! a estadia foi maravilhosa do inicio ao fim! Voltaremos denovo!

Surrounded by beaches one must do is, in the morning during low tide, visit the natural pool in the coral reefs to swim with different fishes ( lots of colors and shapes). After visiting the reef is time for a nice caipirinha ( traditional Brazilian drink made with cachaça spirit and lime) by the pool. The hotel is family focused but entertainment staff helps parents providing activities for kids allowing parents to relax and enjoy, a massage in the tent in front of the ocean is a great choice. Covid protocols were in place but without harassing guests. Pros - Natural beauties. - recreation staff - amazing sunset Cons - Gift shop didn’t have kids toys like bucket or water launcher. - Food and Beverage a bit overpriced (value for money point of view) - Checkout happens at 12:00 and flights to São Paulo at 18:00 we requested late checkout which was denied, even though we would pay Overall I rate my experience 4 out of 5 and recommend staying in this resort.

What I didn't like was the unsatisfactory of the hostel in relation to check out, where we couldn't spend 1 hour after the recommended time that is 12 hs! I have been in several places and I have never been treated with this lack of cordiality, lack of empathy, lack of gentleness. I know that you have time for everything, but where I was had to go out to take all my property (to unemploy the room). Besides all we have to pay for each towel used (towel to go to the beach or pool R$6,00 each and not informed when we request.Finally, one feedback for you to win more customers, be empathic, pass on the other! And whoever never passed a thing that was unforeseen, he only knows to give it and heats another.

I don't know if this is exclusive of the hotel, but it was the first time that happened to me. The values of the cardapio are very high, I found it unfair once paying for the stay that by signal is expensive they force you to drink and food with very high value.
