This time, I stayed for 2 nights at work, but there was a station where Hankyu and subway could be used, and Lawson was near the hotel, and there were many restaurants if I walked a little, and it was a hotel in a convenient location for work and meals anyway. I booked with a single at a reasonable price, but upgraded to a twin room for free. The room was clean, there were outlets on the desk and bed, and there were many lights, so it was an easy-to-use room anyway. The bathtub was large, the shower was easy to use and comfortable. This time, the clock band broke during work, so when I asked the front desk staff at the time of check-out to ask the clock shop where the clock can be repaired, please check it carefully. It was very helpful to tell me some according to the opening hours. The next time I have a job in Kyoto, I wanted to use it again.

The breakfast is charged (1200) and the quality is poor. Compared with the 800 yen breakfast of ”Kyosaimi Nomura” which is less than a minute’s walk, it shows how bad the new breakfast at this hotel is. The small bowl in the photo is individually packaged to prevent infection of the coronavirus. This includes the time-consuming breakfast of the old accommodation. The new paid breakfast is a small bowl that looks great. Regarding Nomura Kyosaimi’s breakfast, if you look directly at Gurunavi, the photo is almost the same as the actual product, so I think it will be helpful.

When we arrived, Inoue-san was waiting to welcome us in front of the property. (I felt bad because we arrived later than anticipated due to traffic.) He helped us carry all our heavy suitcases. We received a warm welcome and his hospitality during our stay was second to none. Everything about the property was wonderful! The location was perfect as we were there for the Kyoto Gion Matsuri. There were lots going on the street we were on, including hoko (floats) parade, hoko assembling, music rehearsal at night, and hoko disassembling, which were very interesting. We enjoyed restaurants all around in neighborhood from Gyoza to Motsunabe. Transportation access to bus stops and train stations was good. The property was super clean. Having a washing machine and dryer system in the bathroom really helped us since we were there for a week. We definitely go back if we travel in Kyoto again in the near future!

My home for a week in Kyoto 😁 It's not far from the subway, but it's still a bit far away, so people with too much luggage should consider it. The service in the hotel is very good, there is no barrier to English communication, and it is very warm. I tried the happy hour snacks and the late-night chazuke rice once each. They were both very good. The only drawback is that there was a lot of hair in the bathhouse twice when I soaked in it. This part may need to be strengthened, but otherwise I thought it was great.

We chose this hotel due to itsʻ location and it exceeded our expectations! The hotel staff was helpful and provided information in Japanese and English. We stayed for 13 days and were impressed with the hotelʻs determination to provide us with clean rooms, towels and other items. This hotelʻs location at Shijo/Karasuma made it easy to get to train stations, bus and the subway. There were also many excellent restaurants and shopping possibilities. One of the features we appreciated a lot was the laundry. We also appreciated that it was quiet.. didnʻt even hear people in the halls or doors close. Having lived in Kyoto for a long time, this was our first time to stay in a hotel and would recommend it for sure.

We used it for the university entrance examination. Use it in twin for accompanying children. This hotel was decided by a hotel with a good transportation from the University and a large bath. Reasonable with breakfast! It was convenient and helpful to buy lunch box on the morning of the examination day because the first floor is seven eleven! I am glad that there is free coffee and soft drink at the front desk. Amenities are also placed at the front desk and you choose yourself and bring them into the room. The room was quite compact, but there was a desk and I could study. I'm glad that there is a new and clean humid air cleaner! It is the first experience that there is a washing machine in the room! It seems to be very popular for those who stay overnight. The public bath is also narrow, but the cleaning is well done and satisfied. There was also an open-air bath that could see the sky (laughs) I stayed on the second floor, so it is the floor with a breakfast restaurant. I thought that the guests would be noisy in the morning with the sound and the voice walking in the corridor, but the soundproofing was good without hearing the sound at all. There are many kinds of breakfast and cheap and satisfied! In the daytime of the examination day, it is sightseeing alone. Perfect location for sightseeing! 2 minutes walk to Shijo KARASUMA in the center! The train is also convenient and the best for bus sightseeing! Convenient to go anywhere! Shopping is also very convenient because there are many restaurants. It is recommended for sightseeing, business and examination in Kyoto. I want to use it again.

This hotel is really inconspicuous but surprises us. The location is quiet and the service is in place. On the day of our check-out, the person in charge of the hotel personally sent us to the subway station and took us to the gate. In fact, we can't go to the subway station for less than 10 minutes. This is very, very hard.

The location is located in Shijo Karamaru, whether by bus, subway or Sapporo, the traffic is very convenient. There are many restaurants nearby, it takes five minutes to walk to the beautiful Kamogawa, and it is also close to department stores such as Takashimaya and Daimaru. Free breakfast is provided, but the service staff is not always smiling. The furnishings of the room are similar to all chain series, exquisite and small. The fly in the ointment is that the electricity of the refrigerator is connected to the room card. If the refrigerator cannot store milk and other food that needs to be refrigerated after the room card is unplugged. In addition, the bathroom space is small and the shower curtain always has a musty smell.

The location is good, and the surrounding area is convenient for eating, drinking and entertainment. It is also very close to Diyuan. It has complete facilities and good sound insulation. It was very comfortable to sleep. The front desk was very welcoming and most of the waiters I encountered were foreigners. It was just inconvenient to park, so I ended up parking in the parking lot of the supermarket next door. The parking fee turned out to be more expensive than the room fee.

You can experience the biggest advantage of the traditional Japanese residence. I have lived in a similar place before. This cherry blossom season hotel is very expensive. I chose a hotel. Overall, it is still good. It is larger than the hotel area. The transportation is also convenient. Necessary living facilities can cook a simple thing. The microwave oven also has an induction cooker to spit the driver. The disadvantages are also the bedrooms are on the second floor. The first floor of the bathroom. This last time, the old house is not suitable for the elderly and children who are inconvenient. In addition, it is still cold. The air conditioner is three wall hangings. There is one night downstairs. It's very cold at night. There's no floor heating. You need to bring socks. Otherwise it's very cold. The bathroom is a little black moldy. This house has no washing machine. This last time, this is more suitable for a few days. Short rental service. Good service. There is luggage delivery at the front desk. Service. A 500 Japanese price is very good. I sent two bottles of local wine before I checked in WeChat. I have been patiently answering questions. I also recommended the itinerary. I provided a bus map. The service facilities are even higher.

I’m quite surprised by many of the reviews on here. We booked in only this afternoon, the hotel is nice and location is fine. It is a City centre hotel after all. The bathroom is good with a high spec toilet and a wet area and a ‘deep’ bath but at 6’2 i doubt i’d fit in. There are usb charging cables but no wifi roaming devices as some people say but these reviews were pre covid. My big complaint is that there is absolutely no storage. No drawers, or shelves The ‘wardrobe’ is just two rows of metal runners with 5 hangers. All fully exposed to the room and which you can’t help hitting when you go from door to bed The intriguing thing is that there is a full size door next to this. It opens into the room to reveal… a wall. Really handy for storing er large sheets of plywood maybe, as long as they are not more than an inch thick. We thought it might be a connecting door .. it’s not. There is a small bedside table on one side only. There is no reading light on the right side of the bed. There are only two pillows. As there is nowhere to store any additional ones as are usually found in even a premier inn. We have to keep all of our clothes in our suitcase, but we did find a use for an odd sized table as a suitcase stand. Oh yes and unlike the similar hotel in Hiroshima last night there is only one chair. I look forward to a response from the management team .

After finishing my business at Saiin, I stayed because the transportation was convenient. The next day, I had a business in Yamashina, so I took the subway to the Tozai Line at Karasuma Oike. The room is small for a twin. Especially the entrance door and shoe take off position are bad and not easy to use. There is a low square table, but there is no chair. The bathroom is quite cramped. When I got up from the toilet seat, I hit my head on the door knob. Light breakfast is reasonable in light of the price, but I made a reservation at 8:30, so when I went around 8:15, I had to wait for 15 minutes. This is my first experience. The plan for national travel support was available and electronic coupons were accepted. Overall it was a satisfactory stay.

Hotel is situated in a good location. Just opposite of Kyoto station. I recommend to go there via the station’s main exit, rather than the underground exit. The exit via underground is A5, but can be difficult to locate for the first time. Amenities are basic, nothing fancy or extra. It’s a self check in/out hotel, although they do have staff on call if needed. The doors are all electronic using a passcode, so might be a bit of a challenge for elderly people to operate if not used to. Overall, a very nice hotel. Highly recommend if you need to get around in Kyoto using the public transport.

If you are a traveller like us who would like some more privacy, this place is not exactly for you. Don't get me wrong, the hotel staff are absolutely wonderful. Just that most things are communal and you have wait for your turn to shower and finish by 11.35. The walls are quite thin indeed, you can easily hear people walking on the hallway or simply chatting in their rooms.

It's quiet and easy to spend because it's one station from Kyoto Station. The location is also near the station, and it's easy to understand that you can reach it in just a few minutes from the station. Parks, aquariums and railway museums are also nearby, so you can play with your children. There is a large communal bath, but personally, the hot water is lukewarm and unsatisfactory. I stayed in a standard twin room, but I was able to spend a relaxing time in a room that was perfectly large even if I spread a large suitcase. There are also 6 coin laundry units, which is appreciated for long-term stays. It seems that a group of school excursion students was staying there, and I was worried that I could hear a slapstick noise at a fairly late time. There is also a convenience store, so it's very convenient, but it was very disturbing because a group of school excursion students was shopping and it was very crowded, and I didn't know how to use the self-checkout and was making a fuss. It was. Isn't it shifting such shopping time or the school side manages it? Apart from that, I was able to spend comfortably without any problems.

We stayed for 5 nights at Richmond Premier Kyoto Shijo. The hotel has a clean zen-like modern look. Location-wise, it is at the quieter side of Shijo, the east side, which is closer to the Hankyu Karasuma station. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to Shijo central where Daimaru is- this may or may not appeal to you. Some pros and cons: Pros- Affordable room rates Big rooms Complimentary drinks (not alcoholic) for guests from 1-8pm everyday at the breakfast area. Laundromat with 6 washer-dryer machines Self serve amenities at the elevator at night Helpful hotel staff Cons- Aircon/heater doesn’t balance right between heating and cooling resulting in uncomfortable, dry, cold temperatures at times Walls are a little thinner so a noisy neighbor above or next room can be heard Overall, we had a good stay.

It is not recommended for guests with more luggage or large boxes: First, because the homestay is located in the scenic area of two years and three years, tourists are like weaving during the day, and taxis can't get in at all. You need to drag your suitcase and walk a long uphill and downhill stone road and steps to find a place to live; Second, it is because it is difficult to call the car after checking out. You need to drag your suitcase through the woven stone street to the main road far away to take a taxi... Of course, for guests who have no luggage or less luggage, you may wish to experience the feeling of an old room for one night.

This is a modern minimalistic boutique hotel that we enjoyed! The design of the hotel has zen elements (the creative zen garden layed vertically against the wall) that I really loved. The room itself is more of a wooden theme that is cozy and relatively spacious for Japanese hotel standard. There is sufficient space to lay the luggages and also to sit (a luxury in most Japanese hotels). However, the hotel is slightly further from kyoto station and require some walking (which is inconvenient for lugging the luggages as the pavement is bumpy). Also the hotel is situated beside a road and near a hotel, sometimes at night we could hear the ambulance sirens which may be a problem for light sleepers. However, really enjoyed the hotel's own bath house which looks very new and clean. It is equipped with dyson hair dryers and you can have free ice cream popsicles after your bath! A great way to end a tiring day full of walking in Kyoto :)

It arrived around 21 o'clock with a plan that can be in from 18:00, and it was in a state that it was not connected unless it called a lot by the phone to the front desk. When I finally thought I was connected, it took a while to confirm the reservation and the waiting time at the entrance was long, so check-in was not smooth. It was the beginning of the year, so I might have been busy, but I wanted you to improve a little more. The room is neither good nor bad. The bath was a bit small for two people to enter. It is reasonable for the price. The ventilation in the bathroom was not stopped, and it was cold, so I got my throat hurt because the air conditioner was fully operational. I thought it would be nice to have a humidifier. I think it's a great deal if you use it for a short time, so I think I'll use free time next time ...

We should be Taiwanese at night, will speak Chinese, explain in detail. There is a porch outside the door of the room, you can put a stroller, the room is very large, it is the largest we have lived in this trip, there are tatami mats to eat and drink, the bathroom is dry and wet, and the hygiene is very clean. My friend and I arrived at the hotel early in the morning. The staff was nice and kept our luggage for us so that we could go out and explore the beautiful city of Kyoto. First impression, the exterior looks very Kyoto-esque, and the interior has a little hint that the brand is from Thailand. We got a room on the basement floor, which at first felt a little weird, but it was nice, clean, and had a window that allowed us to see the sky and get some fresh air. There was no moldy smell at all, which was a relief. Also, we spent most of the day outside anyway. Room is as cozy as the name suggests in the booking and it is super clean. The size is standard for Japan, with a smart design that includes normal-sized luggage storage under the bed. Bed is soft and the linens are clean. Only weird thing at first was that the sink is separate from the bathroom. But on second thought, maybe that's a good thing; one person can take a shower while another can brush their teeth. The shower room has a standing shower with great pressure and temperature control, but no bathtub. The amenities smell good, and the towels are good quality. Surprise! The free WiFi internet is super fast. I was able to back up 100 photos and 10 videos with no problem. Location: The hotel is in the middle of two underground train stations, so you can get in and out easily by walking for 3-4 minutes. However, for the first day, especially when you have a lot of luggage or big oversize luggage, and if you don't want to go around crossing the street looking for escalators or elevators, it's better to take a taxi. The hotel and Kyoto station are not too far apart at all. I know that taxi rides in Japan are rumored to be expensive, but it's up to you if you want to save your bag or your back. After you are free from your luggage, you can even walk 5-8 minutes to the shopping street or even 20-30 minutes to the famous Kiyomizu-dera Temple, which we did after recovering from 10 hours of sitting at the airport and on the flight. Since Kyoto has a lot to explore and there is great food out there, even food from combini Family Mart and 7-Eleven nearby, we did not try the room service or restaurant at the hotel. Sorry about that. In conclusion, this is a brand new, renovated hotel that is clean and has a nice location. I will revisit and recommend it to my family, friends, and favorite colleagues.

You can go from Kyoto Station by 1 station and take a taxi within 1000 yen. When going to the guest room area from the front desk, there is an automatic door, and it will not open unless you hold the room key, so security is also solid. The elevator is also large. The room was well cleaned, very clean and the room was large and comfortable. The bath was large, and it was not a hotel faucet that was difficult to use, but an ordinary type of easy-to-use faucet. The separate place from the toilet was also good. It was good that the amenities were substantial and there was a bath salt. Free PET bottle water, drip coffee, tea packs are also available. Since it is a new hotel, the facilities are easy to use and there are many outlets, so it was convenient. You can also watch YouTube and Netflix on TV. General hotel rooms have many dim orange lighting, but the main lighting of this hotel is white, so it was good. It was comfortable because I couldn't hear the noise in the next room, the upper floors and the corridor. You can rest assured that the large communal bath has a security card dedicated to women only. There were many kinds of breakfast buffets and it was very delicious. When I checked out, I was asked, ”Did you have any inconvenience in your room?”, but nothing was wrong. I heard about the inconvenience and thought it was to respond quickly. You can leave your baggage for free after check-out, so you can go sightseeing empty-handed. The only inconvenience I felt was ... If you are in a room near the JR track, it is far from the elevator to the room. It was difficult to walk with a heavy suitcase because it was quite fluffy floor material, probably because it was to improve the soundproofing of the corridor. Even if I walked normally, I felt tired feet walking on the sandy beach. It may be unavoidable due to the structure of the building, but it was a pity that I could hardly see the Kyoto Tower from the rooftop, but I could see the trains and Shinkansen, and the mountains 々 in the distance. Tables, chairs and benches are installed, so I think you can spend a pleasant time in spring and autumn when the climate is good. It was a very good hotel, so I would like to use it again.

We chose this ryokan because of the affordable price and location. When we arrived, our bags had been placed in our room (we'd sent them from our previous hotel via the takkyubin service), which was a nice touch. The room felt very small for the two of us. There was basically just enough floor space for our two futons laid out right next to each other. However, there is a large closet where they normally store the futons that we were able to use to store our luggage and other items when we rolled out the futons. The futons were very thin; I felt like I was pretty much just sleeping on the floor and it was rather uncomfortable. We got one of the private rooms so we would have our own bathroom but again, the bathroom was very small. Of course, we didn't spend a ton of time in the room anyway as we were out and about most of the time so the small space was not a dramatic downside. The neighborhood was quiet, which we liked, and the staff were very friendly. We had the western-style breakfast a couple mornings and it was quite good! All in all, it is an affordable stay in Kyoto, but I can't say that it is the most comfortable option. I would also warn that if you are looking specifically for a great ryokan experience and not just for a place to crash, this might not be the type of place you're looking for.

The hotel is very stingy, you can only go to the front desk to get 2 coffee capsules every day, and don't give more. Be sure to book a room in advance. It is located at the entrance of Buddhist temple street for about 4 minutes walk from Shijo Kawaramachi. The room size, facilities, etc. are standard for business hotels. Bedding, toothbrushes and razors are received at the front desk. However, the quality of razors was bad and the skin was cut. It is a pity that the lighting in the room is white fluorescent color and it is cold 々 impression. This wants to improve. Check out only puts the card into the machine. Not long after the opening, the building is beautiful overall. However, I think the hair remains on the bus and the cleaning is one now. Breakfast with free is a minimum set of several kinds of warm bread and cup soup, coffee and juice. Coffee had a cup service that could be drunk in the room. The price setting of 6000 yen is a major business hotel with a price of close to 20000 yen in business, and this location, this fee, and this facility can be said to be the best level without complaint. It is recommended because the net reservation of the company becomes the cheapest.

Two people lived in a whole Japanese-style villa ~ The room was very clean and beautiful. There were bungalows and tatami style rooms. The bathroom also had a super-class automatic bathtub. There was a comment on Expedia that the general hotel photos look better than the room, but here is the opposite. I agree too much that the actual room is much better than the photo ~, but pay attention to the checkin time to make an appointment with the store, that is, the store will send an email after placing the order. The young lady who came to pick us up checkin was very cute. It was a Chinese lady who was very good in Japanese and English. ~ It felt so good. If you missed it because there was no evaluation, it would be a pity 😆.

What needs to be improved: 1. The check-in address of the house and the address of the house are not the same place, and they are far apart; for tourists who do not understand Japanese, many problems are added. When we arrived that night, we couldn't find where to check in, which caused a lot of time delay; 2. We have made an appointment for the garbage cleaning service, but we went around and came back and found that the garbage was still piled up at home, and the service was bad; 3. About the facilities: The toilet and bathroom do not have heating facilities. I contacted for a long time and brought a heating facility. Shouldn't the room facilities be checked from time to time? 4. The overall feeling is very general. Friends who are more concerned about the above issues can consider carefully.

If you tell the parking lot in advance, you will guide you to the moon pole parking lot a little on foot. The receptionist was very good and I was happy to talk carefully. Originally, because of the condominium, the stairs and corridors were renovated in the old ones and were very beautiful and fashionable. I was saved by drinking free water and coffee in PET bottles. The only thing I thought was the accumulation of dust in the ventilation filter in the dressing room. It was very dirty. I think it has not been cleaned up so far. The other parts were very beautiful! I was able to spend comfortably. I rented a bicycle to Arashiyama, but it was very helpful because it was free within 2 hours! After that, I asked about the parking lot by chat at the time of the reservation, but I was unread and eventually called myself. I think the meaning of chat? I was able to make a reservation cheaply while I thought it was not used, and it was really good to be able to spend comfortably.

Earlier this month, I stayed at Gion Misen and loved the experience. There are many new hotels in the city but Gion Misen stands out and exceeded expectations. The location is superb, on quiet and historic Shimnomzen Street, nestled among beautifully preserved wooden machiya townhouses, antique shops, galleries, and small restaurants. The staff is kind and helpful. The included breakfast was ample and delicious, including good coffee! The beautifully designed, contemporary Japanese rooms have comfortable beds, plenty of electrical outlets and good lighting. Gion Misen is ideally situated for excursions to the beautiful surrounding neighborhoods and the heart of downtown Kyoto on foot and by short taxi rides to all corners of this magnificent city. Thank you for making me feel so welcome.

Quietly standing in the arms of Bilao Mountain, the Yamano Food Inn has a Kyoto Station pick-up service (about 30 minutes drive) on arrival. The hotel is only 10 minutes drive from Yankee Temple. At 6 o'clock in the morning, the hotel organized a ceremony to the Buddha at Yankee Temple, and there was a shuttle bus to the temple at 9:15. The hotel serves breakfast and dinner. The menu is customized according to seasonal seasons. It is very exquisite. It integrates the food culture of Wuhu and Jinjiang with the French style. You can also taste Shiga local wine. The most intimate service on the departure day is to transport luggage to Kyoto Station for free, so that visitors can easily visit Bibu Mountain and Wuhu.

Self check-in according to email messages, there is no front desk clerk. The room is large, comfortable and has travel information. But there is no microwave washing machine and other convenient configuration for guests. It is recommended to check if you have received an email notification before check-in, if you do not contact customer service immediately.
