3.75km from Sahra KofteThis boutique hotel has a great location. So easy to reach any popular touristic places in Gaziantep by walk in 10-15 minutes. The environment is safety. We ( me and my mother) stayed here 2 days and there was not any security problem. One of the most speacial feature is comfort and hygiene. Our room had a perfect cleanliness. The second one is helpful and friendly people. I would like to thank to Osman Bey, his wife and Nuri Bey. They were ready and willing to help us in everytime and about everything. I recommend this place insistently !!
3.85km from Sahra KofteThere is a lot of breakfast in the whole hotel in Turkey. There are so many people who are suitable for Chinese people to eat. The subway is right in front of the hotel. Go right and turn to the airport bus and taxi station. Turn left and Turkcell can buy a conversion plug, 5 lira. In the evening, you can use the usb plug on the TV to charge the phone emergencyly. There is no conversion plug at the front desk. There is a mosque behind the hotel that is quite unique. If you are not on a business trip, I will not come to this place. The hotel itself is good, no problem, the front desk is also warm.
3.9km from Sahra KofteI stayed 4 nights in this beautiful Butik Hotel, my room and bathroom were huge, very nicely decorated with good taste but the best part is the hospitality and friendliness of the owners, they are supernice and make you feel at home, always willing to help and have a nice, smart conversation with tea... =) A big thank you to Gengis, Aynur (his mom) and I can't recall the youngest brother name, even his sister helped me to courier a package. It is a small hotel, my room was up in 1.5 flies of stairs but it has rooms downstairs; breakfast is delicious and very nicely presented.. =) Location is perfect to enjoy and walk Gaziantep, you can get there with the Havas bus and then walk about 300-400 mts, I had problems to find the entrance the first time but I am very bad orienting myself.. =) I totally recommend you to stay in this Hotel!!!

4.08km from Sahra KofteLocation is close to city centre, nearby the Atatürk Ani Museum. Our room's decoration was nice, air conditioning was OK. There were TV and mirror, etc.too. However, there were some spots of dirt on the sheets. The bathroom of our room needed renovation. We stayed at a family room at the corner of the hall. It had a very little window, which is not enough for getting fresh air. There was always humidity when we came back to the room. Also it is quite noisy when people are in the hall. Additionally, parking lot is 3 minutes walk away to the hotel. Breakfast is another 3 minutes walk away, but it is not worth going there. Food quality and service is poor. The hotel staff were OK. Make sure you communicate all details before your stay and don't be disappointed.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Old Town Gaziantep, within walking distance of the main crafts bazaar, shops, restaurants and shopping. It's tucked away in a back lane with no frontage to speak of, so buses and cars have to stop on the main road and guests have to walk in for a short distance. Entry through the doorway leads into a spacious courtyard and the elegance of the 200-year old limestone building, with its wrought-iron staircase, black and white alternating stone patterns, and spacious windows set into the walls. There are lovely details in the building itself. The rooms are all slightly different as this was not built as a hotel with standard rooms. Mine was on the first floor overlooking the courtyard, with a terracotta stone floor and period furniture. The bathroom was big and gloomy. Big windows let plenty of light in. Breakfast was in the courtyard, not lavish but meant to be a slow affair with conversation. The main charm of this hotel is its location and the building itself. Stay long enough and you'll appreciate all the small details. Plus, Gaziantep Old City is a few steps away outside.

We (me and my colleagues) travel frequently to Gaziantep for business and usually stay at a specific hotel. This time, we stayed at the Grand Hotel. The check in was fine, no problem, and the room is Ok nothing to complain about. Next day, me and my colleagues wanted to have lunch, so we went to the (Only) available restaurant at the 12th floor, there was a small group of people (+/- 20) having lunch. We asked the waiter/ Captain for lunch, he said no... No lunch, this is only for a group. You have to go to the first floor (Bar lounge). We went there, two waitresses, who don't speak any English were there. No guests. We asked for the menu, which was in Turkish. We tried to make them understand that we want anything to eat as we had a meeting in one hour time. No understand... we said even a salad...what do you have.... nothing... Finally we understood her saying yes...yes.. Salad... Cucumber, carrots, and lettuce. We said Ok. When she came few minutes later, we were surprised to see a plate with some lettuce, in the middle a glass (usually used for wine) with some carrots and cucumber sticks like for Cocktail parties. and that's it. I missed taking a picture... so we left without eating. During our stay, we had lunch and dinners outside. Breakfast buffet very poor. No need to mention other shortcomings...

The customer service of the hotel was very good. We had a wedding ceremony nearby and some of our guests stayed in the hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Particularly Duty Manager Ali was exceptional. Thank you very much for your hospitality.
There's an exceptional history to this place, which may make up for all of the shortcomings. In my opinion, it fell far short. Rooms are well appointed, but have broken odd and ends. The breakfast space is in the basement, while the nice space behind the lobby remains empty, and the staff is not very attentive. This is a local government-owned and run hotel, if I understood the context correctly. I am all about helping such local, publicly owned establishments. There are many good restaurants in Turkey that fit this category. However, there is a major lack of training, likely among management. I told them this while I was there. I truly want them to succeed. The history behind this place deserves special respect. Unfortunately, next time I will be looking elsewhere for a place to stay.
I hava stayed at this hotel :November and December 2018. I have starded working in Gaziantep, so need to stay to at a hotel till I find a suitable flat to move my house from İstanbul. I have visited most of the Hotels and price and performance vise Tuğcan Hotel is the best. Vale service excellent, Lobby Komi Staff excellent, very helpful and polite Breakfast- Good service, variety of food is efficent, food quality average, House Keeping- Besides being not good at cleaning, my cosmetics were used, rouges I am definetely sure they were applided from all sides I only use them from the top. I had blisters on my lips, I was wondering why(!) I made my complaint they said they made the employee resigne, there are very sorry this event has occured. After 2 weeks I rented my flat lastday at hotel packing my stuff, quess who appeared at the door for goodbye tip, same staff that they told me that they sent them away. Besides this upsetting event Hotel Beds are good, I didn’t use Wi-Fi I can not make comment. Non smoking rooms are 7th and 8th floor, one floor upstairs there is Roof restaurant, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday Nights you wait for music to end in order to going to sleep, take your ear plugs if you are a non smoker:)
They are so nice and thoughtful
The breakfast is amazing
Check in 24/7
Everything you want in a hotel, they even gave us some local soap when we were checking out

1-Room A/C was not working and asked for maintenance and kept waiting and no one show
2- location on a busy street and little noisy all the night. Especially when A/C is not cooling then must keep windows open
3- breakfast is ok but poor for such a 5 star hotel
It should be managed in a better manner

The location is on the side of the road, there are hospitals and supermarkets around (can not buy beer), not suitable for bringing children, breakfast is not worth 10 yuan for my Chinese stomach, it is too simple, no hot things, health can, room Small, anyway, the standard of holiday hotels in Turkey is completely different from that in China. It is similar to express. The service of this hotel should be regarded as the best in Turkey.
Very good location. Mid of the Old City.Good priced. Clean room and sheets. Management has smiling face with helpful approach. Moderate but clean bathroom.Free and working WiFi. You can't reach the hotel with your car. Thus you have to tow your luggage on ancient stone street for 80 meters. However the hotel is worth to stay in.
It locates richest part of gaziantep so that reason you can find useful places that covers your needs. But it is far away from the oldest section of gaziantep such as old bazaar and grand castle. I believe owners of this hotel made it those who don’t understand the basics of hotel design. Restaurant itself has very loudly which just under my room. I simple don’t get it the reason for this design. When I ask them to change my room with a new one I cannot find a person who can speak English properly. Not recommended.
Reception; Very friendly staff, and Mustafa was on his toes to make us happy and satisfied. Room; Very plain, but functional. Missing a good chair. Had to sit or lay on the bed. Housekeeping; In general, quite good cleanliness. The Maid had to do three floors of rooms. Pool; The area was dirty, with most of the beds covered with bird droppings. Not inviting. Restaurant; Breakfast & dinner included. In general, good food, but lacked a broader choice. Ali & Ahmed took good care of the guests. Location; Is great, with a great view over the harbour from the balcony, and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Wifi; Varied a lot, and caused some long periods without connections. Air Condirion; Was shut down at a certain date, leaving us with only hot air in the room(still +25 outside). Mustafa took care, and gave us the cooling ability back. In closing; Helpful and friendly staff, good location and functuality.
Arrived early hours on the Tuesday easy check in with a small packed lunch from reception (nice touch) next morning unfortunately my hubby was not well so rang reception explaining the situation & asked could I have a kettle as I couldn’t see me leaving the room that day so being able to have a coffee sounded good, the guy said 1 hours all good 3 hours later still no kettle so rang down again 1st guy did not understand a word I was saying so passed the phone to his colleague I tried to explain that they said 1 hours but still had not got kettle well the abuse I got down the phone was horrendous I was totally took back I said it’s ok your busy I will come to reception to get it he butted in & said No it’s on it’s way & the phone went down, kettle arrived by lovely maid but no cups ???. All I can say this hotel is not British orientated the staff just look right through you (apart from when there manager was walking round) they was so rude, served all other nationalities before the British at one point my husband was stood at the bar for at least 10mins before he was acknowledged, this is an all inclusive hotel but to me it’s the worse all inclusive I’ve ever been to & let me tell you I’ve been to a lot, drinks wines vodka gin white rum & effes don’t expect anything else not even a cocktail in sight, snacks 4-5.30 cakes from the lunch time service & if you was lucky you would get waffles, now for the restaurant food omg who has broccoli cauliflower roast flat potatoes & soup at breakfast yes there would be boiled & scramble eggs & on odd days you was spoilt by getting omelette hotdog sausage & mushrooms, lunch & dinner were no better, we understand they cater for all nationalities but to us they never once catered for the British apart from fries, the Germans Dutch & Norwegian loved the food as it catered more for them. The staff in this hotel need to go on a course for customer service as apart from the manager who would say hello, all the other staff were miserable rude & abrupt,it’s a shame really as this hotel is beautiful clean & ideally located but most definitely NOT for the British, jet2 need to look at this hotel & be truthful to there customers !!!!!
I have never written a travel review before and I am cautious that people will think that I am moaning for the sake of it as some reviews I think the same but here goes. I was really happy to get away from the UK for two weeks for a break and on arrival at Kaila Beach reception I thought wow this is the place. That's where it ended. Room looks great on first glance until you notice the smell coming from the bathroom and the wallpaper coming off the walls. Being on the sixth floor you're really repaint on lifts but there's only two serving the whole hotel so expect a long wait or a massive trek up the stairs. Commission guys are based in the hotel, 5 of them. They love the English therefore we are hassled day in day out. It doesn't matter to them that they wake me up on the pool sunbed as long as they get a sale. We are 11 days in and they have only just left us alone. This hotel is supposed to be an all inclusive but take this with a pinch of salt as snacks are restricted so if you have kids like me they will be disappointed. You can only have cakes at 4pm and ice cream at 5.30pm. You can have hamburgers and chips 12-4 but only if you go to the beach so if you want a pool day you will have to pay extra for hamburgers and chips or wait until lunch to go to the restaurant where swimwear is not allowed therefore you have to interrupt a day of fun at the pool with the kids to eat. Drinks. Alcohol is free at the pool bar but chargeable at the beach. This is definitely not all inclusive. I dont expect free snacks 24 hours a day but to restrict to this level is a joke. The food. If you dont mind eating the same thing day in day out then this will be fine for you. And no I'm not exaggerating the food really does not change. There is a really good pizza/cafe bar round the corner which is very reasonable price wise and the food is amazing. Its called Enberi and we have spent a lot of money in there on top of what we paid for the holiday as the food is that bad in the hotel. Breakfast. They have two drinks stations but only ever open one so expect to queue for a good 10 minutes to get your morning coffee. Again breakfast is exactly the same day in day out. Staff. Most reception staff are rude. Kaia speaks good English and is helpful, the rest of reception staff don't bother you won't get anywhere with them they don't care. Akhmed who looks after the kids pool is amazing, very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for him, he will go out of his way to make you happy. Pascal is also another good member of staff,he is also extremely helpful and his English is very good. There are also two young members of staff at the main pool bar who are really good and offer good service like akhmed and pascal. Unsure if their names, one is called Beret I think! The older members of staff in the hotel who are rude could learn a lot from the younger and more helpful staff members. All in all, Akhmed has made our time bearabl
The accommodation is basic, but met my needs for the 5 nights. The apartment is of a decent size (bigger than expected) and the beds were very comfortable. The wardrobes had ample space My only gripe would be that the lounge area had no heating and being it was February and cold of a nighttime, this would have been a welcomed addition if provided. The breakfast was self-service and plentiful. I did not have dinner so cannot comment as went out every daytime/evening. The accommodation may not be suitable for those who are less mobile as it is at the top of a very steep hill and access to the rooms is via stairs - no lift. The staff are very friendly and the resident dog is totally adorable!
I was in this hotel twice in two months!. This hotel has absolutely everything you need for a perfect vacation. It is licated just a ten minutes walk to the city center and has own, very well-kept beach and a large pool with bar. The rooms are neat, clean and disinfected and the food varied and very tasty. A special emperor gives this hotel the care of quests. Mr Sezgin and his staff take care of everything and fulfill your every wish. You can enjoy in romatic dinner at the beach or spend your time in amazing spa center! You will experience special pleasure through animation during the day and in the evening. Thank you so much DJ Haribo and Bora for unforgettable gatherings and evenings. My stay at the hotel would not have been possoble without help of the General manager, so thank you very much. I will come back again for sure!❤❤❤
Very good hotel with good place but service not that good.
9-10/11/18 - We three British middle aged guys are on our last few days touring the area west of Antalya. We are on our return leg from Anamur so decided to stay again in Alanya as it is an interesting town. We booked this hotel ahead from Anamur as it had reasonable reviews and had a very cheap offer (£10.50 for three in one room for the Friday night). We arrived around 7pm after a mile walk from the main bus station/otogar. We found the hotel easily, almost opposite the Cable Car base, down a prettified pedestrian street that was quite quiet as it was off season. I can imagine it could get much busier and noisier. We checked in with the rather dour receptionist and given the key for room 405. We went up a flight of stairs and use the lift, overshooting by a couple of floors as the room numbers do not match the floor numbers (lift doors are between floors). We found room 405 in the corner, opened the door, to find it was a bit musty smell (smoke/quillada/mosquito spray ?) and the balcony door open to air it. The room itself was clean and a fair size with a big window and door onto a reasonable sized balcony looking over the main pedestrian street below. A third chair was later swiped from the stairwell so we could all three sit outside. The room had a small LED TV (which we tried and had a bad UHF/PAL Signal but did show Euronews in English which was the first news we had seen other than English Al Jazeera all twelve days so far). There was an A/C unit which we did not pay for. I could not see any smoke detectors or sprinklers on the ceiling (as is fairly usual in cheaper places). The showerroom had a deep and wide sink, shelf with mirror and overhead light and hair drier but no electric socket. A towel rail held a couple of small towels (along with two bigger ones on the bed were enough for three of us being eco-friendly). A corner plastic screened off shower was present. After the 3.25hr journey and walk we broke into a bottle of wine bought at the Carrefour by the Alanya coach station. I found only two glasses (big and small) so popped down to reception to grab another one. To my surprise the receptionist was apathetic and recommended I buy a plastic cup from the market nearby! I returned to my friends and he who booked the hotel had seen reviews about unhelpful staff. He could not drink out of the sink plastic cup as there was gunk at the bottom so resigned himself to drinking out of a plastic bottle, not a good look! As we had come from Anamur being dropped off at the coach station by Tayfun our host, I had inadvertently left a bag in his car boot. I checked what I was missing which was quite significant (including our own stock of sturdy plastic cups) so I needed to contact Tayfun. I logged onto the net, found out the telephone numbers but the internet/wifi was so slow I could not skype (we neglected unfortunately to buy a SIM at the start of the holiday). I again popped down to ask if they could make a local cheap or free mobile t
I really liked this hotel, because of fantastic place (middle of Alanya center, near Cleopatra beach and the mountain, caves), you don't need any transport, you just enjoy staying in Alanya, also hotel is clean, rooms are clean too, comfortable beds; good deliciuos cuisine (every day new dishes, salads, fresh fruits and vegetables and also deserts), pleasant stuff😊 I would recommend this hotel for people, who wants comfotable, not super luxury relax, in center of day/night life and nice places of Alanya.👍👍👍🌴☀🌙
One-price all-inclusive hotel, the staff is passionate about people. The overall hotel is not very large, but it is more suitable for the whole family. The hotel can go directly to the beach, the water in the Mediterranean is very clean, I heard that there is a therapeutic effect, soaking for 1 hour a day. There are fish in the water, the buoyancy of the water is great, and the swimming feeling is great.
