0.19km from Saint-MarcelMe and my partner visited this hotel on our first visit to Paris for my Birthday. It’s about an hour from the airport on the train located in the Gare district, which is about a 15 minute walk from the Notre Dam cathedral. The staff were very welcoming when we arrived and spoke better English than us! Our room was on the first floor directly opposite the lift. It had a king sized bed, a 50 inch flat screen tele, large bath and shower, and beautiful quintessentially french decoration all around the room. Fair to say we didn’t spend much time in our room during the weekend, but we sure slept like logs because the bed was one of the comfiest I’ve ever slept in. The hotel is located 5 minutes from several tube stations, which will take you anywhere you want to go in the city and tickets are relatively cheap if you buy them in books. As mentioned previously, the Notre Dam and St Victor province is within walking distance (for us anyway) and has a wide range of fantastic restaurants along the way. The only downfall for us was the price of breakfast in the hotel which isn’t cheap to say the least, but that wasn’t a problem because there are plenty of cafes in the area that provide reasonably priced french breakfasts. Overall a fantastic room, convenient location, friendly staff, and great value for money!

0.23km from Saint-MarcelI had a corner room and these are a bit bigger then the others but according the paris principles this was big! I am travelling to paris quite often and now choosed to stay on the other side of the river and really not a disappointment! The location is perfect, you can walk to the heart of paris and i was able to park my car just in front of the hotel. The room is clean, modern and sound proof. I slept with the window open and as it is located on the mainstreet it is a bit nosy. They breakfast is all fresh but not too expanded still everyone can find something to eat. Staff is really kind and helpfull. Elevator is small but that normal in paris too :)!

0.31km from Saint-MarcelWe've now stayed at Grand Hotel des Gobelins four times since we first discovered it in 2006, and it has become an essential part of the magical Paris experience. Over the years, the level of hospitality has increased and it couldn't be more friendly and welcoming. As part of the explosion of English-speaking all over the city, the front desk staff are more perfectly bilingual than ever, and all staff members seem eager to offer at least a few friendly words of English. The rooms are small, typical of European hotels, but by now we know how to make the best use of the space by stashing one suitcase in a nook until we need it again. One important new feature for caffeine fiends is a snazzy burner to heat up a pot of water for instant coffee. This allowed us to coffee up even before the excellent breakfast, which is included if you make reservations through the hotel's website. And this visit, we needed a bathroom that could accommodate arthritis, and were provided with a roomy bathroom with a spacious shower stall. There's a metro stop right down the street and around the corner, and this has always been a plus for us. And as an important practicality - at least if you come for two weeks from as far away as we do - there is a laundromat five minutes away where more friendly Parisians are happy to help with navigating the daunting process. Most importantly, the hotel is in a lovely, typical Parisian neighborhood full of day-to-day people going about their daily lives and enjoying lunch and dinner in numerous area cafes. The hotel is also centrally located for access to the best of Paris, and many attractions are accessible on foot for people who love walking. For history buffs, we recommend nearby Rue Mouffetard and Place Contrescarpe, in one of the most ancient parts of Paris. Rue Mouffetard was originally part of a major Roman road, and many of its little restaurants feature old stone walls and heavy wood beams. For literary mavens, it's noteworthy that Hemingway lived in the area and walked these streets in the early 1920s, and even references Place Contrescarpe in "The Snows of Kilimanjaro." All of this makes Grand Hotel des Gobelins the perfect place for us when visiting Paris, and we hope to return again and again. we know Jean Marc and the rest of the staff will be there to make the stay a pleasure.

0.49km from Saint-MarcelOld fashioned hotel. The staff on the front desk were really friendly I had told them we late arrivals Double room certainly not small old fashioned furniture But all clean. For the price u cannot go wroung. We have paid way more than this and had a shocking place. 100m from a great typical little bistro we rolled in at 2245 expecting kitchen to be closed but no. We had a great mixed plate of cheese and meats and a small carafe of an excellent bruilly. For a one or two night stop no problems at all.

0.49km from Saint-MarcelAll in all a pleasant, good and clean hotel in a quiet situation. Staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Unfortunately, there was no warning [by expedia?] For the roadworks at the door that made it very difficult to reach. Furthermore, it can be noted that the current [though hygienic] non-breathing mattress protectors transform the nights into a perspiration-mare, this hotel was no exception.

Hotels Near Saint-Marcel In Paris Review
1. The location is very good. The Arc de Triomphe is a transportation hub. This is one of the many divergent roads of the Arc de Triomphe. It is very convenient to walk to the Arc de Triomphe and take the subway. 2. The hotel is clean and the window is a typical French street. I feel that the thick French night rain street view 3 has good fireworks around it. Compared to living on the Chancellor Avenue, it is more convenient. There are many fruit shops, supermarkets, Chinese-style Japanese restaurants nearby, and one Very good bakery, easy to buy fruit and breakfast, the hotel on Chancellor Avenue is convenient to buy luxury goods, but there is no convenience for eating here 4 nearby are all similar hotels, all are similar, you can choose the right one according to your economy Yes, cheap and comfortable
The service attitude of the mansion is really super good! ! ! The house we originally booked did not include breakfast, but the sister gave me a free breakfast for one day. From now on, I booked breakfast every day to eat hhh croissants and pies, which won the praise of my friends and friends. The location of the hotel is also very good. It is very convenient. In addition, it is very important to emphasize that the small garden in the mansion is really warm. We can sit. Chatting in the small garden, although the daylight in Paris is hot to doubt the life, but the cool breeze at night is particularly comfortable~ Don't say anything, such a comfortable accommodation experience. I will definitely not choose this hotel next time in Paris~~ In addition, the service attitude of the young lady of the Chinese is really awesome for the five stars.
Very recommended hotel, although the location is not in the central location, but there are subway stations within a few minutes walk, Paris is small, there are many subway stations, extending in all directions, the two stations are not far apart, a few minutes walk in Xiang Street . The hotel was decorated in a small style and the room was very comfortable. We set a double room, two big two small stays, a free bed, three small beds enough for us to live. The younger brother at the front desk is very nice and polite. The breakfast is very rich, all kinds of small bread are very delicious, summed up, is the best breakfast in the line for ten days.
Overall good, safe, very close to various attractions, safe, better than domestic quick! The overall feeling is good! Breakfast is western style, we set a family room for three people at regular intervals, the other bed is simple and pretty good! Parking in Paris is not easy to suggest green travel, you can just walk around to various attractions!
I used to go to the outlet the day before going to Disneyland ^ ^
The room was large and comfortable, 1.2 minutes walk from the station in front of the shopping mall. It seems to be convenient because there is also a train station and a shuttle bus to Disneyland.
