      Some would call it a boutique hotel, we call it an Italian hotel with charm. We like the setting right by the jetty. Makes it so easy to explore the lake. Only issue is that boats back from Como, as they stop running after 20.00. But we had a nice quiet room, beds comfortable and clean room and bathroom. Best is that the rooms are having aircon, well needed in the summer. Breakfast in the next door restaurant good with a great view ( if you get table by the window). The local lido is just a walk away and easy to spend a nice day by the lake. The car park infront of Hotel a further plus. So, we will be back.

      Picked up a take away lunch of panini/toasties, service was great. I ordered 3 which were all delicious, but what impressed me more was that they gave me a ham panini rather than a vegetarian, and when I called to advise them, they refunded me the full amount for all 3 paninis. My husband and daughter ate them all and commented how tasty they were. Would definitely recommend lunch here, with a great view across Lake Como.

      The hotel is stunning with truly world class service and accommodation. The property is gorgeous, with lots of pathways to explore the many views of the lakefront. The landscaping details are exceptional and the attention to detail in the rooms is unsurpassed. From the teas, to the minibar, to the shower amenities, everything is top of the line. The spa area is absolutely beautiful and a very nice setting to relax, while we did not use the outdoor pool or boat services, as we visited in late fall (although they were still available). The gym is great, with top of the line equipment and everything you could need for a full workout. The breakfast at L'Aria Restaurant was simply the BEST breakfast I ever had in my life. The offers can be combined to taste, and nothing is left out. The dining at CO.MO bar and bistro was also a great experience, the food was exceptional and can be paired with a fabulous selection of wines and cocktails. From the welcome to the checkout, the staff were welcoming, inviting, and genuine. No detail was left out and we felt like we had everything we needed at all times. As we were celebrating a special milestone, extra care was taken to ensure that our experience was unforgettable.

      Stayed just two nights on our way from Basel to Rome. Location was perfect on the Piazza de Cavour and across from the lake and ferry building. Enjoyed our balcony at night and in the morning- sounds coming up from a restaurant downstairs serenaded is. Lots of shops, cafes, etc. right there. A supermarket a couple blocks away for a few supplies. Comfortable lobby and bar - didn’t try the restaurant just had too many choices. Breakfast was very good and well stocked.

      I stayed here with my mum in August and we were so very pleased with the choice. The location is just perfect, right on the lake by the ferrys and close to the old town. The service was lovely, they gave us a room with a view and organized twin beds. The air con was not great in the room but I think being on the top floor didnt help. Room was so clean and comfortable, beds are soft but I slept well. Its quiet even though its in a busy area, it still felt calm and relaxing. For the price, this is surely the best option on Como. Will be back.

      We stayed for 3 nights over Xmas. The hotel is one of the best small luxury hotel I have ever stayed at. We only stay at 5 stars hotels and this one is at the top of my favorites. They pay so much attention to details in the room from top of the line linens to using small but excellent products rather than large corporate products. Definitely worth getting a room with a view. The location was perfect and I wouldn't want to stay on any other part of Como. It's easy access to all other parts but the little town is less touristy than Bellagio and more charming in my opinion. The light show around the corner and the xmas market was well worth the stay. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The only thing I would say is that the hotel should have known ahead of time what restaurants were open and closed during the holiday as so many were closed. There were not a lot of choices but I still would recommend going during xmas. It's hard to not get a good meal in Italy even if it's not highly rated.
