Very good to find, just near the Jiangzhidian waist Yue station, awesome; The Japanese-style twin room was set up, and it was very comfortable to sleep. The old gentleman went upstairs to introduce various facilities. Although it is a public toilet shower, it is practically convenient. The old gentleman and the old lady are very good, especially the old gentleman. I feel so fond of my son. On the morning of the 17th, my father helped us find a screwdriver to fix the sunglasses. In the afternoon, I went swimming and went to his house and rushed. When I left, the old gentleman was a bit sad. A little old man sent his children a long-distance feeling, the old man touched his eyes and looked at my son far away.

It’s a great place! Walkable distance from Enoshima (Odakyu & Enoden) and relatively large, clean room. We absolutely loved the twin room with sea view which is both superb at night (with lit-up Enoshima) and in the morning. The breakfast was good given that it is 'free' and the breads were baked on site every morning. There were only few places to eat around since most of them close quite early so make sure to check in advance if you want to enjoy the night out. The convenience store is round the corner so you can also choose to eat in your room. The next morning we stored our bags into the coin-locker in Enoden Enoshima station and explored Enoshima-Inamura area on the bike rented from the shop across the railway.

This is the best place to stay in Kamakura. Every room faces the ocean, with glass windows from floor to ceiling and a tiny balcony one person can stand in, if needed. Woke up to an amazing view of Mt. Fuji right outside our window. The lobby feels old, with a small casual place to grab a bite. They have a very big store in the lobby with lots of beautiful clothes but they're pricey. They also have a small convenient store with your basics, with is convenient. We were surprised there was no ice machine. We had to buy ice form their little store! They don't advertise this as much as they should: they offer a shuttle bus to the nearby train station every hour. Sadly, it stops at 5. They should extend it to maybe 8 pm? There are numerous restaurants, a pharmacy and a supermarket within walking distance. Too cold to go to the pool but it looked very nice. Overall, given the area, this was the perfect spot for us.

We loved staying at this hotel. It's on the water, has views of the bay and the windows open - fresh air! This was our first time staying in Kamakura - we have visited before but never stayed overnight - and whilst there's not a lot of choice in terms of hotel accommodation, we were certainly happy with our decision. We wanted to take time to explore this wonderful town, and ride the Enoden train as much as we could. We also wanted to unwind, and staying at Kamakura Park Hotel gave us plenty of opportunity to do all of these things. You have to walk through the back streets to get to the nearest train station, Hase, about 10 minutes away. We really like exploring the back streets of any town or city and staying at this hotel certainly gave us plenty to discover; we took a different route every day. And the staff were amazing, especially Haruna Ueki. She certainly made our stay very special. Lucky for us, she has spent time living in our hometown, so she understood us very quickly and was able to give us lots of tips about coffee, eating and what to see. One tip though, whilst having a room with a view was certainly wonderful, we couldn't leave our window open all night as the traffic noise was too constant. It's a road that everyone uses to go up and down the coast, so the traffic never stops. However, closing the window certainly blocked out nearly all of the noise.

Great stay at Iza Kamakura Guest House!!! The good: The staff at Iza Kamakura Guest House are the best part of the stay. They are very friendly. Most of them speak English, though some of the staff that were cleaning and serving food didn't speak English at all. Better to stick to conversing with the front desk hosts. The staff helped us plan out what to do in Kamakura and anything else we needed! The less good: The building is older and lots of old wood paneling. The common areas could be cleaner, but since the building is older, I can see how that could be difficult. My main advice to the staff is to clean as much as possible as that is expected in any Japanese lodging. The shower room was perfectly fine!

This was our third stay in Kamakura so we decided to try something different - a Yuigahama hostel. This new building is clean and bright. The friendly and helpful staff made us feel quite welcome. The public baths were very nice indeed. Being able to cook our own breakfast and dinner made our stay in Kamakura easy. On the other hand, the kitchen facility was inadequate and poorly organized. The common area with tables for eating was pleasant, but chilly in early December. There are a few short sets of two or three stairs in strange places especially in the commons area space - we tripped and almost fell down several times. The elevators are a mystery - in order to get from our room to reception on the first floor we had to take a circuitous route involving two different elevators. The whole building plan was disorganized with much wasted space, while the rooms were crowded and small. We had the largest double room in the hostel and had no room to open our suitcases. We were constantly climbing over each other or over the beds to get anywhere. A clothes tree rack with several hangers was the only place to hang clothes and it was very tippy. The hostel is in Yuigahama, not far from Kamakura, but it does involve a train ride each time you want to go somewhere. It was not the easiest walk with luggage from the station to the hostel, but once we found the place and no longer were hauling luggage, the walk from the Yuigahama station seemed shorter each time we made it. We anticipated many of the inconveniences of the place before we arrived but made the reservation anyway. We wanted to try something different, and different it was.

1. The geographical position is superior. Ofuna Station East Exit, 2 minutes. 2. There are many shops in the surrounding area, and the gluttons are excellent for food, and they are abundant and simple. 3. The hotel is paperless and computerized Check-in and out. This is very interesting and very convenient. All you need is a passport, and the operation interface can be in English. 4. There is a hotel with the same name near the west entrance, so I made a mistake. 5. Recommend the Yakiago Shio Ramen store, Takahashi Ofuna, not far from the station. Grilled flying fish soup base, a thumbs up.

It is 400 meters away from the east exit of JR Otsuka Station. The station is just below the ATRE shopping mall. There are also Don Quixote, Baiyuan shop and other shopping options. From the hotel, turn right and follow the navigation for 2 km, and Huatang Shopping Mall. . There is a variety of instant powder in the lobby on the first floor of the hotel. I used the taste of ginger and soy milk, which is a lack of solution. The hotel is very clean, but it is a train road next to it, but it is not noisy. There are eight main dishes in the coffee shop on the first floor. Others such as miso soup, bread, rice, and yogurt; coffee is free to take. . The next day, I walked to the Mingyue Temple from the hotel, which is 3.4 kilometers. I met a very small Chengfu Temple and went into the look. I usually walked a lot, so I didn't feel tired. Because it is Tuesday, so the Mingyue people are not many, although the hydrangea has been in full bloom, but still beautiful, especially the courtyard, very tasteful, sitting for a while, quiet. I also saw the hanging rail-type tram, which is the magnetic levitation through the street. I took the ride from Enoshima back to the hotel and took it once, swaying, some dizzy ^_^

Next to Ofuna station and not far from bus station, it is quite convenient to go to/from Tokyo and to/from Kamakura attractions. Nested in a quiet neighborhood, it can be an ideal for tourists who want peace yet being not too far from attractions. It is a decent hotel. Staffers are all coutesy and helpful. Room and bed is tiny but functional. All amenities are there so no need to bring your own shampoo and toothbrush. There is also pyjamas provided. Tea and coffe is self serve at lobby from 3pm onward, also some cosmatic stuff such as facial mask (quite odd for me), cutton set, bath salt, and something else that I did not pay attention. Ice is also free at lobby, along with vending machine, washing machine and dryer. Breakfast serve from 6.30am-10am and is not a buffet syle, but a set of simple menu to choose at the hotel cafe. Basically a set of toast, ham and egg and a choice of basic coffee, orange juice or tea, anything else need to be paid for. However, if you need something more, there is Family Mart (convenient store) nearby and many restaurants which is quite cheap. One odd thing is that time for cheking in is 3pm but checking out time is 10am which is way so early. All in all, it is a decent hotel for a short stay.

This ryokan fits very well in its pleasant Kamakura neighborhood. It is well cared for and its attractive appearance on the outside extends into its reception area. The beach, shopping, sites, and local rail station are all within easy walks. Traditional Japanese breakfast at 8am served at table and chairs in a tatami mat room was very good, though I could have perhaps eaten a little bit more. The public onsen bath was about a 4-seater in the wash area but I never had any company. It certainly was a nice way to bookend a day, and was bit more roomy than the bathroom in our guest room. Staff were all courteous, friendly, and professional. We stayed in the older section of the Inn in one of the western style rooms. As we get older we spend less time on futons and more on beds. The room has everything you need: a sitting area with TV, a dining area with table, chairs, and refrigerator; a bed chamber with 2 beds; and a bathroom with sink/mirror, toilet, and little Japanese style separate bath tub and washing area/shower. Pretty good room, though a little cramped here and there. The problem was that it felt like you were staying at Grandma's house. Being almost 95 years old and located near the sea, there was an inevitable musty smell. Some of the wall paper seams had begun to split. The furniture was from an era, well, some folk might find it charming, but it did not quite work well enough for us to want to make a return visit,. We asked to take a peek at one of the newer Japanese rooms but none were available, they might be a better bet. Good neighborhood, good location, good staff, good food, and decent public bath, but the guest rooms would probably cause us to look for alternatives before returning.
