Indeed, staff very friendly, but not helpful. Our room was stuffy and carpets stained with dust in skirtings and corners, also no airconditioning. We asked for a desk fan, shoulders were shrugged. The safe in our room did not work, again shoulders were shrugged.

Stayed with my teenage son for a short half term break. Louisa's Place was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived we received five star treatment. Stephan welcomed us and checked us in. He also provided incredibly helpful and useful advice for places to go and things to do during our visit. He provided us with details about the on-site restaurant and also recommendations for authentic german cuisine. He researched pricing and ticketing information for the U-Bahn and S-Bahn. Our room was incredibly spacious and clean. All the staff we saw during our stay were incredibly polite and friendly. We had an amazing trip and Louisa's place was the perfect base. Stephan was an incredible ambassador for the hotel and I would recommend this hotel highly.

I am a guest of your's. I am very happy here. I sing highly of your service. First of all, the hotel is so beautiful. It looks like a garden. I enjoy it. Then, foods are delicious and some of them are amazing. Most important reason is that the bed is so big and soft that I don't want to get up every morning. It's wonderful here. I can't believe it that I must leave. I want to live here again if I come to this city again.Thank you.Sincerely yours a guest.

I stayed in room 24 which was tiny and basic, but adequate and cost a fair price. It seemed clean also. You get free wifi and you can check-in 24hrs which is great for late-arriving travellers. The hotel is diagonally opposite Charlottenburg S-Bahn Station so transport there is really easy. Berlin ZOB is about a 20 minute walk to the hotel. The hotel decor is quite dated but the staff I met were all friendly (most don’t know much English but we managed to communicate ok). I only really used the hotel to sleep and eat breakfast as I was busy elsewhere the rest of the time. I was given an extra set of clean towels during my 2 night stay. The breakfast was very good, a typical continental breakfast but there was always plenty of cereal, fruit, breads, meats and cheeses. My only criticism (and it’s really not the hotels fault) is that the area around the hotel does not feel totally safe. There was some guys (not hotel guests) hanging about at the entrance to the hotel smoking cannabis was on my first night and I seemed to attract the attention of creepy non-European men in the area. Ladies, please stay away from the shop within Charlottenburg S-Bahn Station close to the hotel; there was a really horrible guy working in there who said sexual things to me whilst I was just trying to buy water.

We went here with 5 and booked 2 rooms. The hotel is located in an older building and is located on the 2nd floor. The rooms we had were space wise ok, the beds were comfortable although the pillows were quite soft. Bathroom with toilet also pretty good space wise. All was clean although have to say the carpet in our room may have to be changed out as it was clear it looked dirty although it was not. But the impression one could get is that is dirty. There is a parking garage available for the hotel guests. Room keys need to be returned to the reception desk every time one leaves. The door at the entrance needs to be unlocked by the reception after ringing. Reception is 24 hour available. We slept very well even though our room was at the street side but there were no heavy noises coming from there. The breakfast was ok, enough choice for everyone. Overall a place I could stay again during a next visit to Berlin.

Me and my family arrived on the train from Berlin airport. The train stop Charlottenburg is less than 5 minutes from the hotel you can see the station from outside the hotel. The women at the desk were very nice and helpful. There is a shop next door but one which sells alcohol, tobacco, sweets ect... At a good price and open till late if you want to buy drinks in for your hotel room which has a fridge in. The room was quite big (there was 4 of us) it had a double couch bed a double bed (2large singles together) and a single bed and were very comfy. The room was nice and warm with a little kitchenet with a good few plugs. The shower was lovely and easy to work in a nice size bathroom with a powerful hairdryer. Room service everyday. Me and my family enjoyed our stay and found a nice pub close which allows smokers inside called Gaststätte Zum Hecht. The beers where a good price with live entertainment and a working dukebox to pick your own songs open all night.

There is a subway station around Hotel Atrium Charlottenburg. There are a lot of hotels nearby. The hotel has a large room and the facilities are a bit old. I feel that there are still some refugees living around, the parking lot costs 10€, there is free parking at the door, there are many people who have breakfast, but the breakfast is not very good.

The location of the hotel is very good, it is a little old equipment, there is a subway 100 meters next to it, the traffic is particularly convenient. At the time of check-in, the hotel elevator had a problem that was broken for 3 days, and the bulky luggage had to be carried up by itself. This is especially inconvenient. The spit guarantee was paid at the end of August, and the guarantee money has not been refunded until now. I asked Ctrip customer service not to deal with it. Is it really that my money is not in a hurry?

There is a parking space on the street, the apartment building on the stairs, you have to go to the hotel next to you, breakfast can also be eaten at the hotel next to it. On the morning of the departure, the front desk and the colleague say hello, so eat it. Breakfast, sincere thanks to them, really good!

For the Berlin Marathon, we chose the hotel within walking distance of the Brandenburg Gate. Old German hotels, the room facilities, area, and layout are very classic, compared to many typical German-style hotels with small beds and cabins closer to the early domestic four-star hotels. Pros: Quiet, close to the park, rich breakfast, the hotel's only restaurant tastes good, the service is good, and the price is fair. Cons: No1. Not soundproof! On the first night of the marathon, there was an Arab or some banquet in the ballroom. The room on the second floor was always noisy with ding-dong music until 23:00! No2 The exhaust system is not good, the room always asks for the fume smell before and after meals. No3 As a four-star hotel, it is hard to imagine that the concierge was never seen at the door, and there was no room service or any on-site service. When I returned to the hotel after the game, I wanted to have some ice cubes and was told by the front desk that I could go to the bar on the first floor. The bar on the first floor may be understaffed and no one greet for a long time. No 4 is not close to the subway. In the end, I probably understand why there are still a lot of vacancies on the eve of the marathon, and the next marathon should be avoided.

The hotel is located less than 5 mins from the train station but in the room we had you couldn't hear it. So clean which is nothing unusual in our experience of the Motel One chain but in the current climate I believe they're going above and beyond to ensure guest safety to all practicable standards. Staff were very friendly and helpful, we had information from the receptionist about train travel and we used the guest lounge a couple of times and the staff there were courteous and cheerful despite having to wear masks constantly. I have to admit we look now for a Motel One wherever we stay as we've used them for a couple of years now and never had a bad stay. The rooms are functional, if a little sparse in places for clothes. The bathrooms are clean and a good size and so far all have had good showers in them. Plenty of information sent out when we booked given us the details of the cleaning regime and what was expected from us in the current situation and what we could expect in terms of differences to the 'norm'.

It is a small modern hostel with four rooms. We stayed (family with teenager) in 4-beds room with bathroom and refrigerator, quite spacious, with large dinning table. There is a shared kitchen, well equipped, with tea, coffee, oil, spices, you can use. Host (David) was very kind and helpful. There is a free parking all around the hotel, there was no problem finding free space (right in front of our window). Large maerkets and petrol stations near by. Excellent public transport (tram and bus) connection with the centre. Neighborhood is OK. Hostel is on the ground floor, and rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy in the morning, but not that much that it ould be something too disturbing.

It can be said that it is a pleasant full of youth travel, very good! The four people are mixed with a private bathroom, the room is not small, the bunk bed, the bed is very comfortable, there is a desk, and each person has a separate small iron cabinet. The bathroom is also very spacious, the shower head can be taken down, very satisfied. It is cleaned every morning and it is very clean. The most important thing is that the breakfast is very rich. At night, the lobby turns into a clear bar. There is a lot of location, the atmosphere is very good, and there is free hot water. The hotel also has a laundry room, which is about 3 Euros, and a laundry soap vending machine. The few ladies at the front desk were very nice and very enthusiastic. The location is also very good, there are versatile bus lines 100 and 200 at the entrance, there are many different lines of tram, walking to Alexanderplatz (TV tower) is less than 10 minutes, walking around the museum island is 20 minutes . The surrounding environment is very safe and clean. The opposite is Benz bank. In short, this is the best experience in the trip to Europe. It is easy to stay for four or five days and it will not be inconvenient.

Because we are two girls to go to Berlin to play, so it is quite important to stay safe. The location of this home is very good, there are subways, supermarkets, commercial streets, and Chinese restaurants (the reviews are quite high, but I did not eat). It can be considered as a quiet place. The hotel is quiet near the hotel. It will go back around 11:00 in the middle of the night. There will be no strange people wandering around. But after a five-minute ten minute walk to the commercial street, curry36 also has a branch there. The hotel looks like it will be after 3 pm, but you can leave your luggage in advance. A credit card guarantee is required before check-in, and if not, a debit card is also available. The English at the front desk is also good. (In addition, the iced peach steam in the lobby is very good) I live like a suite, 59 flat. Is the entrance to the living room? There is a sofa TV or something, going inside is a bed, a wall behind the bed is a table, you can make tea or coffee. The wardrobe is also over there. Overall it feels quite big, there are two bathrooms, the shower and the bathtub are separated in the bathroom. (The only downside is that the bath water is easy to overflow, and the bathroom is a wooden floor. It takes a long time to step on it. It feels a bit uneven.) Breakfast did not eat, so I don't know, the overall is a good hotel, not expensive, the service is not bad.

There was a moth on the hotel and no reservations were made. The hotel says their empty rooms are constantly updated. The rooms on the day are full. Then, on the other side of the Ctrip, Ctrip and the hotel communicated for forty minutes, or said to change the hotel to us. I took a train for a day and didn't eat dinner. I can imagine how big it was at the time. However, Ctrip later said that he could change to a better hotel. To be honest, even then, we have no strength to go. Fortunately, when we were preparing to change the hotel, the front desk ran over and told us that there was a customer no show 10 minutes ago. It just vacated one. And this handsome guy at the front desk and Ctrip telephone communicated the difference between the time: we can talk about the price later. Now I just want to take care of my guests. Let us listen very moved. I think that the intermediary that cooperates with this hotel is not very strong. Ctrip can consider changing a cooperative intermediary. Because a woman at the front desk said that the same happened before, and the intermediary who cooperated with Ctrip did not communicate enough, resulting in the room being gone.

The hotel is just 100 meters from the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. In the morning, almost no one is photographed at the Brandenburg Gate. It is a rare sight for a landmark attraction. The full name of the hotel is called Adlon Kempinski, but when I take a taxi, I say Kempinski next to the Brandenburg Gate. It’s better to say that the Adlon Hotel is more able to let the driver know, because Adlon The hotel has become a cultural symbol just like the Lao She Tea House and the Budapest Grand Hotel. It has witnessed the historical changes of Berlin and even Germany. The hotel gives a very classic feeling, the floor display of the elevator on the first floor and the floor display in the elevator are still mechanical pointer type, very old fashioned feeling. We stayed at the administrative level on the sixth floor, but because the flight was cancelled the day before, it was early in the morning in Berlin. The check-in was at 8:30 this morning. The room didn't pick the best position in the field of view, but it was also the window. The Den Burg Gate and the Capitol. The hotel is decorated in a classic style with complete facilities and an indoor swimming pool, but the tour in September is still relatively cold. The breakfast at the hotel is very rich, and there are actually preserved eggs that foreigners can't stand. The overall feeling is very good.

A great hotel in a central location. The breakfast was great, although the atmosphere was pretty noisy taking into account the huge number of people staying at the hotel. The only disadvantage is that for parking I was not able simply to drive into the parking garage, although it says that no prior reservation is needed, so I suppose I had to call the hotel in advance and tell them I'm coming with a car. So I would advise Ctrip to update this part of the information. Nevertheless, if you want to pay 10€ instead of the 22€ a day for parking in the hotel's parking garage, you can consider the parking area at Gleisdreieck, which is around 5 minutes on foot from the hotel.

The breakfast was very good, giving me a warm and beautiful memory of the trip to Germany. The surrounding environment was quiet and comfortable. The only thing I felt uncomfortable was that the breakfast waiter always came to my desk and took me when I didn't finish eating. The cup, removed the opposite plate, once did not understand the coffee machine, after hitting a cup of milk, I had to make another cup of coffee, so there were two cups on the table. I booked a weekend away with my partner at this hotel and booked the room which had the games machine in it. We got there and it wasn’t in the room... Then the AC stopped working and I tried to call the front desk but the phone wasn’t working. So I went down to the front desk to ask for a handyman and the lady told me that a handyman would hopefully be up soon. We waited for 40 mins and I then had to walk back to the reception to be told by someone else that a handyman would not be coming but I would have to change rooms at that time of the evening. This is unacceptable. The staff was friendly so I can’t complain about their attitude. But this is still unacceptable. We got up at 11pm and drove home. And to add, this is a hotel with means there will be tourists there. Tourists usually don’t speak German. Why are all the tv stations in German?!

Be sure to arrange a high-rise and north-facing room at the front desk, because the view of the Berlin Zoo from the large window of the room is highly recommended! It can be said to be an unexpected surprise! The room was okay, meeting the price and star standards. Parking is more expensive 25 Euros per night General hotel only about 10 Euros. However, there are many parking spaces on both sides of the road at the entrance of the hotel. If you are lucky, you will find free spaces when you return at night. We spent 5 nights inThe Circus Apartments. We had booked a Duo Economy room, but that had been re-allocated, so we were upgraded to the Schroeder Duo apartment on the 1st floor (at no extra cost). This is the second time we have stayed in Circus Apartments and both times have been excellent. The apartment was spacious and nicely decorated, with a very good supply of kitchen utensils and crockery. There is a full-size cooker and oven, microwave and fridge. A free laundry is located in the building basement. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment is quiet. This apartment also has a balcony with chairs and table. The only minor drawbacks were that the shower rose could not be adjusted sufficiently to avoid splashing a considerable amount of water on the bathroom floor, and the lighting in the living area is quite dim. All staff we encountered were cheery and very helpful. The apartment location is good, being not too far from public transport stops, supermarket and other shops, and the local area is pleasant and interesting for a walk around. It is also easy to work out suitable routes to go for a run. We highly recommend Circus Apartments.

Stayed at OTA Berlin with my husband and two sons (18 and 16). We booked a studio apartment and it was a perfect base near the city for us. Huge apartment with two single beds and a double, beautiful high ceilings and very light and bright. The kitchen was very well equipped so we were able to cook breakfast every morning. We were at the back of the building, facing into the courtyard so street noise wasn’t an issue for us, although there was a very rowdy crowd staying on our last night, shouting out in the courtyard until all hours and again early in the morning. The apartment is only a 10 minute walk to Alexanderplatz and there is a U Bahn station less than five minutes walk away. There’s also a supermarket, bakery and pharmacy all nearby. We were on the third floor and there is no lift so you really get a workout! There was broken glass in the hallway on the second morning we stayed and it was still there two days later. We had been instructed on check-in to drop the two keys in the letter box in the hall when we were checking out. However as we were leaving we met an elderly man sweeping the stairs who insisted we give him the keys, I tried to explain that we would drop them in the letter box, as instructed, but he wouldn’t take no for an answer so we hesitatingly handed them over, hoping he was an employee!! The only thing that bothered me about the apartment was that there was no sign of any fire safety equipment anywhere in the building, apart from a fire blanket next to the cooker. No sign of a fire extinguisher or fire hose anywhere in the apartment or in the public areas, I was surprised that an apartment could be rented out to the public without stringent fire regulations? Otherwise, it was a very enjoyable stay.
