All this for a reasonable price, which is not often the case anymore in Ao Nang. They have their own agency for booking tours and transport to other parts of Thailand which makes sure that everything is well coordinated between the hotel and the transport companies. All in all a place I will certainly come back to when I’m in Ao Nang again.

The staff is friendly and welcoming and they were kind enough to keep our luggage for us as we left for two nights on Phi Phi. As for minuses, the breakfast is not amazing and the sheets on the bed were old and not very clean. Quite a turn-off for an otherwise lovely place, so hopefully this will be improved in the future.

I was considering booking on Riley Island and enjoy the beaches (at 2000 to 3000 Thai baht per night). That rins about 60 to 100 usd per night. So grateful I stayed her in Krabi Town. I have gone to Ao Nong beach 3 days in a row. The resturants are great along the beach. I can walk, bike or grab a (Rot Thaw) which is so cheap. The back of it has side seating and it is about 50-60 baht (about $1,50 usd) If you want to go alone than its more. I love this place. Nothing fancy but the owner Bang speaks English and they have a great staff. There is an elevator and stairs for their 4 floors. There is no iron or blow dryer. Bring your own. They do not serve breakfast but from what I can see, they must have before Covid. Have grace as these hotels get back on their feet. I paid 500 Thai baht per night. That's $15 per night. The rooms are a good size. There is lovely outdoor tropical seating/tables and chairs to sit under ceiling fans. It's worth it! This may be my regular place to stay. Lot's of highly rated restaruants and cafe's in walking distance. Very Covid safe and Sha approved!

We arrived with one bag lost in Bangkok airport and the staff called and followed till we received our bag. Very close by the beach and rest of facilities. Rooms have old furniture but are cleaned in the old building. Balconies are enough for two persons and a coffee early in the morning. Housekeeper is doing a perfect job. I use the hotel since 2017 and I'll use it again.

The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with modern amenities that made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. But what really took my breath away was the stunning view of the ocean and the sunset from my balcony - it was truly breathtaking and made my stay unforgettable.
The food at the resort was also delicious, with a variety of dishes that catered to different tastes and preferences. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always going above and beyond to make sure that my stay was as comfortable as possible. In particular, Noom was an exceptional host, making me feel at home and ensuring that I had everything I needed during my stay. I noticed that he help a lot of the other guests too.
However, there were a couple of things to be aware of during your stay. Firstly, I would recommend avoiding taking a taxi from the hotel as it can be quite expensive compared to the rates you would find outside the resort. Secondly, I had some trouble with the night shift receptionist who was quite rude and unhelpful. If you need anything during the night, it may be best to speak with the daytime staff instead.
Overall, I highly recommend Tupkaek Sunset Beach Resort for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Krabi. With its beautiful rooms, stunning views, delicious food, and friendly staff (especially Noom!), it is truly a gem in the area.

I originally hated Ctrip’s introduction of this hotel. I didn’t even say that I had to go in by boat. There was no hotel pick-up, but I felt the value of this hotel from the moment I logged in. I didn’t see a Chinese. There are Japanese people, and the rest are foreigners. Foreigners are going to play, rock climbing, and kayaking. They have a unique advantage in the natural environment of the hotel. The environment is beautiful and nothing to say. I saw a lizard about 40 cm long climbing on the beach. The monkeys shuttled freely in the top of the mountain. This is the feeling of being wrapped in nature, quiet, slow and quiet! The hotel itself has a restaurant, green curry beef soup, seafood noodles, pineapple rice, Thai hot and sour fish, milk bananas, the amount is much cheaper and delicious! After all, the beverages bought in the supermarket are the monopoly of the mountain, which is twice as expensive as the outside. Of all the places I stayed on my trip in Krabi, this has the best location and safety for the price. Just a 5 to 10 minute walk from Ao Nang beach, with a 7-eleven nearby and the longtail boat ticket office just down the road. Nearby they have money changers, fruit stalls in the day and tourist booths nearby (selling day tour tickets or airport shuttle tickets). Walk in the opposite direction of the beach for 15 minutes and you'll reach the Ao Nang Landmark night market, plenty of food, good restaurants along the way too. Walking alone at night as a female was no issue for me. Location was also very close by to Nopparat Thara Pier, so if you book a day trip from that pier and choose hotel pickup and drop off, it's a quick 5-10 minute drive.
Room and Facilities: 9/10
Breakfast was included, which has rice/noodle dishes, chicken, salad, yogurt, bread, fruits, coffee machine, eggs that they cook on the spot. Okay breakfast but it's good enough for the low price.
The pool is nice, clean and warm in the evening.
Room was spacious and clean, had a safety box (free), Wi-Fi and TV with international channels. They also provide soap and shampoo, but no conditioner. They are very generous with the number of towels they provide, so you'll have plenty for after the pool, or on the beach.
My only complaint is the mosquitoes - when the housekeeper cleans the rooms, they leave the door wide open so you may return to your room and find many mosquitoes in there. Just apply mosquito repellent when you're in the room and you'll be unbothered.
Final word of advice, use a ride hailing app to get a ride from the airport to hotel. For hotel to airport, go to the tourist booth next door to the resort and get the airport shuttle for only 150 Baht :)

|11.04km from city centerWe had previously booked this hotel for a 2020 visit before Covid ruined those plans, so we were looking forward to our eagerly awaited holiday in Thailand. We had decided to travel during the Songkran (Thai new year) festivities, which were unbelievable. So much fun! Our 13 year old daughter (can I say daughter nowadays!!!) had the best time of her life shooting water everywhere. The Thai people, always smiling, are simply amazing. Now, ok, this is a hotel review. We had booked a pool access room by the fantasy pool (the one with the slides). Simply, unless you like people clambering over YOUR small terrace, taking photos while stood on YOUR terrace, jumping in the pool from YOUR terrace, trying to get to their room next door across YOUR terrace, don’t waste your money. It was disgusting, utterly intrusive and bloody ignorant. There are no barriers (and there should be) between the rooms/terraces to prevent this. A joke! We had two sun loungers on the terrace (which people climbed over too) but they were in the shade all the time. Rooms 127 to 131 get no sun at this time of year, so again if you’re a sun worshipper don’t waste your money. The wifi is abysmal. It says somewhere in the room, don’t wait to get home to complain about something, ask the staff! We complained about the wifi almost every day until we gave up. They advertise (incorrectly) that there’s wifi available in all areas. A total lie! The only place you were guaranteed wifi was in the reception area. Or the Green Pepper restaurant across the road!!! I had to pay for 5G everyday to do some work for my business back home!!! And then I get charged for having my room an extra hour on checkout! So much for customer service. A recent reviewer said the breakfast was amazing. No, adequate is the word you’re looking for. It didn’t matter what time you visited, it was packed out, nowhere to sit, no cutlery, no plates, no cups, no food. Everyday we had to ask staff for this, that and the other to be replenished. There was just not enough staff. Apart from 5 behind reception!! On a plus, the room itself was fairly nice with a comfy bed. It could do with more drawer space and more hangers in the wardrobe. Oh and the plug didn’t work in the bathroom sink. On a plus plus, the bar staff at the fantasy pool bar were awesome. A special massive thank you to Soe who was brilliant. One final note, please Ananta Burin Manager/owner, please don’t reply to this review patronising me. This review is a true and honest review. There needs to be changes at this hotel before we ever return. Sorry Soe.

|9.65km from city centerWell it’s $42 nZ a night so it’s dirt cheap.the location is fantastic in the jungle below the cliffs.It has a fantastic pool area with monkeys frolicking in the surrounding trees. We stayed 4 days and the monkeys were seen every day …….. but the rooms are the worst part. Tired, dated, and a little dirty.( But it’s $42!!) it’s walking distance to shops and restaurants but a 30 min walk to beach so best to use thier shuttle or hire a scooter. Minimal English is spoken by staff and you will be woken by multiple roosters at 5.30am….. and a peacock if he’s feeling vocal.

|17.39km from city centerHad a fantastic stay here , from the minute we arrived the staff were friendly and attentive despite the rather strange check in system in place. The room was spotless , and was always well maintained , we had a deluxe jacuzzi room . .. the view was fabulous but we were expecting something a little more than an jaccuzzi bath you would see in a house bathroom for one person ... Which for that reason was never used .. and as comfortable as the room was .. it was getting dated .. however it didn't dampen our spirits as it was still lovely, we came to spend our time outside .. and there were absolutely no disappointments there , situated right on the beach with a lovely tree with a rope swing providing some much needed shade , and the sea no more than a few steps at high tide .. it was literally heavenly .. the changing views across the sea to the scattered islands changing with the sun from morning to evening and the sunsets are breathtaking and not to be missed , boat taxis visit the beach regularly and are very reasonable and definitely worth using for a private tour of the islands . breakfast was fantastic and always plentiful and delicious , infact the only real disappointment was eating and drinking at the restaurant at night , despite it having postcard views the service , food and drink was very underwhelming , and dare I say at times frustrating .. and with the resort being relatively isolated dining out isn't just a wander down the street , missing orders , incorrect bills , slow inattentive staff , and communication problems due to language barriers seemed to occur frequently with the staff at night , something which was never evident at any other time , fortunately as a frequent business traveller also I always try to avoid charging to my room to avoid any billing issues , innocent mistakes seemed to be the norm at night .. and easy to miss with a quick signature .. .. that said we had a fabulous stay and I'm sure that we were maybe just unlucky as it was quiet due to the time of year .. definitely a great place to stay at particularly for couples looking for a quiet relaxed time .. lastly .. honest rating would be more 3.7 ..

The room cleaning is also very good. When we come back from playing every day, we will clean it for us. The hotel has delicious halal restaurants. The reception helped us book the itinerary for our trip, and the airport transfer was super affordable and free. Overall the location of this hotel is good as it's only 5 minutes by taxi from Ao Nang Beach and not too far from Noppharathara for island tours.

Apart from the fact that this really is the ideal location in Aonang, the location itself is very beautiful, fantastic views and nature and yet everything within walking distance. Rooms are very neat, restaurant and swimming pools too. The staff are so very sweet and helpful. They give honest advice about anything and everything. You really feel at home and for our children this also felt like a safe haven (16,13 and 8). We had 2 Swimup rooms with a connecting door. The location is ideal if you want everything within walking distance but no noise from the streets. The large ”Muslim Street” with all kinds of eateries, shops, tour desks, everything you need is a few minutes' walk away, while this hotel really sits against a mountain. Aonang beach is a 10/15 min walk, so is the general office for renting Longtail boats if you want to go to Railey Beach or take the steps of Monkeytrail. I would really recommend it to everyone. Face for families with children, single travelers and couples.

The problem start with the old lady at the counter (Wearing Glasses) that are very rude, during trying to sort the problem happen, she are not fluent in English but every time trying to talk to the others person she will interfere and making thing hard to everyone. She event start to question person that came into the main entrance which are from ours group member during we check the room condition, she should be change her attitude since she represent the customers and handling guest,

When we first came, they advised us on halal restaurants, bike rentals and tuk tuk services in case we got lost and even drew us a map. The hotel is in a good location, 15 minutes to the beach, surrounded by restaurants, bicycle rental services, banks with ATMs. Although located next to the main road, the environment is very good and quiet.

Room was spacious and clean…plus it was decorated in my fav colours!! Housekeeping kept giving us clean beach towels every day and the rooms were cleaned super fast. The room had amazing views from a spacious balcony. There were a couple of issues - air conditioning wasn’t working too well and a blocked lav - calls to the front desk were answered and someone was sent up right away to fix both problems within 10-20 mins. Very efficient! The breakfast was all you can eat and had a variety of food the choose from…Western and Thai. Spent a lot of time at the beach bar…great drinks (Mango Daiquiri so yum) and the food was great for a quick snack. Plus you can’t beat the view of the beach. Both pools were great as well! The room was in the old building, but it had a double bed and a single bed, so it was perfect for our family of three. I forget the lads names unfortunately but they were incredible. My first night before I could reach an ATM a rep let me borrow cash off him. When you walk in the door on your first day you instantly get greeted like a long lost friend. Food is epic, hash browns are a must buy breakfast. Don’t miss the pub crawl pres. there’s so much going on my only advice is to try and take yourself off to the beach 5-10 minutes walk away with some pals to chill for a bit as it’s lovely there to recover from a hangover.
