The round hut is very classy. You will see the whole Davao Gulf iff you peek by the window. The pool's cleanliness is well-maintained. Foods are cooked and presented very well, and very delicious. Kudos to the butlers and the entire staff, who are very attentive and quick to the needs of the guests. We'll definitely visit again soon.

I am a hotel guy, hands down but when I found out that I could get my own room, I took a chance and went for it and I am SUPER HAPPY that I did. I normally stay at beach front resorts until a high maintenance friend suggested I give this hostel a shot. In my head, if my diva friend enjoyed this facility, then I could enjoy it too 😆. The place is NOT a beach front resort so you need to know that if you are only a beach front person. If you don’t have a car, there are “tricycles” that can you to the beach front for a super low cost. Drivers and locals are mega friendly and trustworthy. There’s a dog here named Yukie who’d even come with you if you like ❤️❤️. Anyway, the hostel is pretty rad. My room had air conditioning, a very comfortable bed and hot shower. NO television & wifi because the hostel encourages you to disconnect. If you want wifi, like me right now as I’m making this very review, you’d need to walk to the common area where you can eat your self service breakfast. They served me corn coffee which is pretty awesome. Then a continental breakfast as well. This common area has a television too so if you want to watch the news, you go right ahead. When I woke up this morning, there were many exotic birds chirping their little hearts away. So freaking cute. I checked out all the rooms so I can give my friends an accurate description. There are rooms with 4 single beds. Rooms with bunk beds with their own reading lights and 2 bathrooms in each shared rooms. The deluxe room is pretty awesome too. The art works are beautiful. Although the place advertises itself as a hostel, I am able to say that it’s a hybrid of a hotel and a hostel. I’ve seen hostels in Vancouver that made me want to barf. This hostel has gotten me SUPER IMPRESSED. Really clean. Really well maintained. Staff is awesome and initiative. I am very very impressed and I plan to bring my family and friends the next time I come back.

Hopefully the speed of wifi can be better, we generally used our data rather than the hotel's wifi. Me and my daughter also had mosquito bites within the 2 days stay. i do not totally blame the hotel for that but still hoping that this aspect can be improved like maybe put insect repellants in each room or as per request. But generally, the stay was good.

The place is basically new. I ask the frontdesk if we can have early check in since I came from an early flight but she refused to grant my request, she informed me that their rooms are full. However, the place is like almost empty, you can count the number of people passing by maybe due to Covid 19. Lobby is not really pleasing. The pool is okay. Room is so so.

Great for garden weddings or parties. Foods are okay. You can choose to have your food by the poolside or in the room. The restaurant ambiance is kinda old. Maybe they're aiming for some vintage vibes. Staff were all nice and accommodating. Pool is okay. The tiles need some cleaning. There's no elevator available so you really have to take the stairs. Overall, our stay was good and we're able to get the rest we needed.

It is our hotel in Davao for the Spring Festival of the Year of the Pig in 2019. It is a bit branded in Davo. It is booked two or three days in advance, it is ok, but at least breakfast. The overall feeling is relatively old, and the service is still relatively regular. The casino in the hotel lobby is a bit large, the lost spinach is constantly... There are reminders: buy durian must eat in the right place, in the public cafes in Davao and other public places are not allowed to eat durian, because there are odor. The hotel was not allowed to bring into the room during the security check. We had to eat the big durian outside the lobby before passing the security check... A big durian, I had to keep eating slowly, I didn’t expect to have to eat it all at once. ......😹

This hotel is one of my top "go to" lodging when I visit Davao. It is still very well maintained, the staff are service-oriented. Most of all, it is real good value for money for the quality and functionality of the room. The hotel management observed the pandemic SOP well with breakfast served in packed box. Some disappointments are that my favourite massage place at the ground floor was closed throughout my stay, there were insufficient carparks, and Yellow Fin restaurant which is located opposite the hotel is permanently closed. Nonetheless, there were some new restaurants and a Korean minimart opened within the vicinity of the hotel. I will still choose this hotel for my next visit.

I stayed here last October 2019 for 4 nights. I booked for a double room in this hotel, the space is just okay. It has a double bed, 1 side table, work table, flatscreen tv with some channels, hot and cold showers and towels and free toiletries (tissue and soap). Cleanliness ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5): I rated just 3 because there’s a bit of weird smell upon entering the room. The comforter, sheets, pillow cases and blankets have stains and smells old. The floor also are dusty and the showers and faucets are a little bit rusty. Comfort ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5): The matress itself are comfortable and the airconditioning works properly but as mentioned above, the sheets smells old. Services ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5): I love their services. Specially the front desk officers (Apple and I forgot to ask the name of the other one), they are very professional and accommodating. We asked them a lot of times regarding directions and they always gave us a detailed one. So we didn’t got lost getting around Davao. The restaurant staff are also very accommodating and the food services are very quick. Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5): We ate here everyday for our free breakfasts and all of the plated meals I ordered I am very much satisfied. They served the food plentiful and they even have unli brewed coffee every morning. Location ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5): I can say that this hotel is in a very strategic location because it is near to some of the tourist destinations of Davao like People’s Park, Roxas Night Market, Bankerohan Public Market. It is also very near many restaurants and some of the jeepneys and taxi routes (To Eden Nature Park (Toril bound), To Jack’s Ridge (Matina bound) are just walking distance or just in front from or of the hotel.

My wife had a quarantine stay here. I booked this using facebook and was exceptionally well supported by Raymond at the hotel. When there my family (wife, son and baby daughter) liked the room and food and told me how helpful and friendly the staff were. Now quarantines are over maybe we will come back and sing at the KTV when we return to Philippines next.

We were a group of 4 for my first trip to Davao and this hotel's modern design of repurposed container vans quickly caught my eyes. The hotel is located in a mixed neighborhood, somewhat away from most touristy areas, although G Mall and Abreeza Mall are less than 1.5km away. There are plenty of seating areas on the upper areas, but these are open air, therefore, weather-dependent. The quad room is spacious and has a good mount of storage space, between the wardrobe and the TV cabinet. The room has 2 queen size beds, which are of decent firmness... so quad in this sense means shared sleeping for 2 people. The 4-person room also comes with breakfast, but only for 2. Breakfast for the other 2 would mean paying PHP350 per person per day. We were disappointed with breakfast and skipped it on the 2nd and 3rd days of our stay. The front desk staff were friendly. However, I wished they were more equipped to give information on what Davao had to offer and where to go. The night before we checked out, we specifically requested if they could reserve a taxi for us by 5:30 am and was assured that this will be done. That morning, we repeated this request during wakeup call and at checkout. We were told by the staff that the guard is out on the street to hail one for us. 15 minutes later we were still on the roadside, waiting for a taxi. Thinking that the hotel might not have a directory of taxi company numbers, hence the failure to book a taxi as assured. However, we were surprised that the staff actually had the required information and actually called a taxi... more than 15 minutes AFTER the time we requested it. Thank goodness that we gave ourselves extra time otherwise we'd have missed our flight.

It was pretty decent for its price. Though, when I came in there, they've checked me in on a different room as the one that I've booked is not available. There is also a dog that was so noisy that I couldn't sleep. They've transferred me to my original room the day after. I've extended my stay here for a week and it's cool if you're on a budget.

I stayed in Blue Lotus during the COVID-19 pandemic and this hotel is just obsessed with cleanliness from the main lobby guards, reception, elevators up to your room... everything is sanitized! My room reminded me of a Korean drama (K-Drama) where every feature is conveniently high technology. You can avail of guest services (housekeeping, room service, etc) through your room TV and should you need to adjust the room temperature, all you need to do is call the front desk and they can adjust it for your remotely. My suite is clean, full of amenities one can find in luxurious hotels and while lacking of a good view, the hotel service makes up for it. Checking in and out was breeze as well. Will definitely stay in Blue Lotus again!

Located in Davao City, Domicilio Lorenzo is within a convenient 5-minute walk from the entertainment hub Matina Town Square and 1,500 feet from NCCC Mall. Pros: - clean rooms, beddings, pillows - nice toilet and bath - cold, split type AC - has a nice swimming pool - common kitchen is available where you can cook Cons: - gated hotel, we had a hard time looking for this property as the gate was closed - no breakfast, though they offered us free coffee and bread - no lifeguard - staff and crew seldom smile, seems they are tired I will probably look for another accommodation but will still recommend this place to my friends and family members, if they wish to stay for 1 night.
