Good sized bedroom with comfortable king size bed and air conditioning and good sized bathroom. Rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels every day. Cleaning staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast 10 euros - reasonable selection but not huge choice. Staff helpful in restocking food. Most guests ate breakfast in beautiful garden. Hotel in excellent situation. Go through the garden and you are onto the main boulevard leading to the beautiful harbour. On arrival we were told we were on the second floor. There was no lift and no help was offered with our cases so we had to struggle up two long flights of stairs. We feel that the service lift could be offered to elderly guests especially or have a designated member of staff to help with cases. Wi-Fi Unreliable. On our departure day we asked the receptionist early in the morning if she would book a taxi to take us to the station as we needed to get to Marseille to catch the Eurostar later in the day to get back to England. She said we wouldn't get a taxi as there was a big event in the town that day. We asked her to try and after ringing two firms she said she couldn't get a taxi and turned away from us and went back to her work. We were obviously panicking about what we were going to do but she was completely indifferent to our plight and couldn't have been less helpful. Eventually we remembered there was a taxi rank in the town and we walked round and asked a taxi to come to the hotel and pick up our cases. When we got back to the hotel and told her we'd found a taxi, she didn't even look up. We felt that she could have been a little sympathetic and offered us some help. We had been there a week, she knew we had no car - as she had asked us on arrival.

Best Western Soleil et Jardin is family- owned and family-run. We enjoy staying here very much. Our suite was very comfortable and completely suited our needs. We ate at the ample breakfast buffet in the morning and were well-taken care of by Thierry. He also is the night portier and barman at BW Soleil et Jardin. HONTE A EUX! It is regrettable that the new swimming pool (finished in 2019), and constructed in cooperation with the neighboring property, is not equipped for the physically challenged! In this period of time, it is simply incomprehensible! May the construction team and architects always be able to climb a ladder and never have to use a walker or a wheelchair! How can you build steps in a pool without a handrail? SHAME ON YOU!

After our 3rd AirBnB in the area turned out to be a complete con (yeah and, FYI, AirBnB 'support' is laughable) we ended up here as the only place in the area with a vacancy. We stayed in two different rooms here (due to the last minute nature of our booking), the first was a family room(s) with a double bedroom, another room with 2 single beds and a terrace (fantastic for a family). The second was just a double room. It is pretty basic (it's a 2star hotel though) but we found it to be the cleanest place we'd stayed in (by a long way), it had the best bed (mattress quality) we'd had for a fortnight and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Value for money this place is off the chart as it's location is phenomenal (you walk out the front door, cross the road and you're on the beach). Literally cannot say enough good things about the hotel, definitely discuss the rooms with the staff as the second room we had had a bathroom that would not be out of place in a 3 or 4 star place. 5/5 would highly recommend

Friends suggested a nearby hotel, but as it was fully booked already for the weekend, I found this hotel online, and took a leap of faith! I wasn’t sure what to expect. But I was very pleased with my room, the pool, the easy beach access. And I love walking, so I enjoyed the 35-45 minute strolls into Sanary-sur-Mer or Bandol. I walked one morning to catch the boat to Ile de Bendor from Bandol (what a lovey day and island!). The hotel is right on the Mediterranean Sea, roughly equidistant from both Sanary-sur-Mer and Bandol. It’s a modern building with modern finishes. The pool is delightful with plenty of chairs. The pool area is a quiet enclave with constantly running water making it a peaceful respite from the kids on the beach. However, if you want the seaside, the beach is just on the other side of the building (the building literally sits on the beach). Generally, this beach is low-key and restful. The beach itself is sandy, though it’s a bit rocky once in-water, like most Mediterranean beaches, so I was wishing I had brought water shoes. Breakfast is offered (for a fee), and tables are set up in an indoor-yet-outdoors area facing the sea - what a lovely way to dine! There is also a restaurant on the roof that offers a lovely view of the Sea: but as forewarned by other reviewiers, I also found service a bit slow and disorganized (if nice), and the food mediocre at best. My room was not so fancy, but it had every convenience I required. A complimentary bottle of water was left for me upon my arrival (but unfortunately, was not replaced after I drank it). There is a limited set of beverages in the mini-bar for a fee. A Nespresso machine and a hot water maker for tea are provided for use free of charge (espresso pods were replaced daily). My room opened to a terrace with two lounge chairs. It wasn’t exactly a private terrace as several other rooms also had doors/access to the terrace, but their areas had tables outside for dining al fresco. It was a lovely seaside view! What I really loved about my room was the very tasteful bathroom with it’s amazing rain shower and large vanity! After a week in a tiny Parisian hotel with a minuscule bathroom, this bathroom was a dream! There was a high shelf by the mirror as well as a large countertop on which to place toiletries. I was alone, but even if I were not, it would still be a nice amount of space. There was also a towel warmer rack mounted on the wall (I love these!). Finishes were stone juxtaposed with a rainbow-green glass tile - not a choice that I would have made, but it works! My bathroom had an amazing full-length window of the seaside, a definite plus! I slept WELL. I was happy to hear only the seaside and not the sounds of the town. This is when it is so lovely to be a bit off the beaten path. Guests may check out one or two towels for your room at reception to for use at the pool or the beach. The Bad Things -The espresso in the kitchen is terrible in the

Terrible customer service! Don’t recommend this hotel! Be careful when they ask you to pay in front desk when you already have your credit card information in the booking!!!! I Made a booking, and left my credit card details, yet, was charged in front desk, and got to know later on that they charged as well automatically from my credit card and added a breakfast service I never took! They refuse to find a solution and with terrible attitude!

overall the hotel rooms are lovely and modern and the cleaning staff were very efficient. All the staff were friendly on the reception. The location is on an industrial estate and you do get road noise from the A50 when by the pool but this is manageable as you are on the main route to the coast within 25 minutes. The pool area was nice but watch out for the wasps when its hot as we got stung. I couldn't fault the continental breakfast as it was plentiful and had lots of good fresh fruit and yogurts available alongside the usual croissants etc. Unfortunately we had a couple of negatives to take up with the hotel and Accor chain due to the fire safety issue we encountered with the management of a fire evacuation and also issues with food under cooked/raw at the restaurant on our last night out with my family and 20 month old baby.As noted i have taken these up with Accor as the response i got in hotel was not really helpful or decisive enough and was told to fill in the review on the email once sent out to us. Overall i must note that the fire safety passive areas such as detectors and fire doors on rooms and corridors were to a good standard and it was a management/ procedural issues of poor communication to gusts on what to do that i wish to raise centrally with Accor. Its a shame these 2 things really spoilt our holiday and would really inhibit me booking with Ibis Styles and Accor again.
