Very beautiful hotel, the one at the front desk called A Fang can speak Chinese and can also help charter a car. There are many foreigners who go to Pai County, but they all travel on autos and motorcycles. It is easy for the Chinese to ride motorcycles, so they still rent cars obediently. The whole resort was ours on this day of staying here, and the feeling of chartering was great. Because there is a certain distance from the town, many people did not choose to live here, but it is really suitable for holiday resorts

There are many single-family cabins in Pai, and we chose this one to be a single-family cabin with a large mansion, a swimming pool, a vast dragon fruit and mango. The hotel owner is very good, pick us up and go to the county bus station, the hotel has a motorcycle rental, you can bring people, 140 baht a day, hotels and rent motorcycles do not need a deposit. There are also a few lovely dogs in the hotel that will send us back to the room. After opening the curtains in the morning, a white puppy will lie on the door to see us and live happily.

The most satisfying hotel in Chiang Mai, first-class environment, first-class service, first-class food. Especially the bubble foreman who understands Chinese, is warm and careful. One of our family members has a disabled person in a wheelchair. It is not convenient to travel on the mountain road. The patient is allowed to rest at the hotel on the same day, and the bubble is responsible for taking care of it. Let us go out to play with peace of mind, very moved. The western food here is first class.

Firstly, Tony the owner is so kind and helpful which really makes the experience that much better. With views of the mountains and the white Buddha (Wat Phra That Mae Yen) from my private room, I couldn’t resist booking for a further three days. The views were absolutely stunning. Perfect place for a hotel and the rooms were cheap at 180 Baht per night. Being on the side of a mountain outside of the main bit of the village of Pai, it was perfectly quiet at night and the breeze coming through the mosquito net on the window coupled with the fan kept me cool - sometimes too cool! No problem, the quilt is nice and warm if needed. Can hire a scooter from here, and I did. 180 baht a day for a Honda Zoomer X is more pricey than some places but the guy takes a 2,000 baht deposit and only wants a copy of your passport. I don’t like leaving my real passport as some shops may try to scam you. Plus the bike is brought to the Guesthouse and you can drop it back off at the Guesthouse when you’re done.

Absolutely fantastic accomodation. My girlfriend and I stayed for five nights in February '19 and loved it. We had a double ensuite room which was clean and spacious with comfortable beds and great AC. The common area is great to chill-out and for relaxed socializing. But the absolute best about Jikko's Harem is the outstanding staff. We had messed up our booking (wrong month) but they corrected it for us without extra charges. Also, my girlfriend had broken her ankle the day before we got there and all the staff was extremely helpful. Especially Jojo, who gave us free rides ("free town shuttle" is included at Jikko's) to the hospital and restaurants and gave us so much advice. We would have had a much harder time without you, Jojo! Thank you!! Sometimes they have a small free barbecue at Jikko's Bar in the town, and shuttle there and back was very convenient. My girlfriend was so happy to be able to participate in some fun despite her foot! To everyone at Jikko's Harem: thank you so very much for making our stay a happy memory when all the circumstances pointed into the opposite direction.

Good place for leisure vacation, rent a car to live here is not too comfortable. A 10-minute drive from the town's night market, the hotel comes with a 24-hour outdoor hot spring bath. Breakfast is comfortable and beautiful, especially suitable for the elderly and children on vacation. Each time, when the sun shines through the woods, it emits different charms and presents different scenery in front of the eyes. Mom doesn't want to leave at all.

Wasn't given a key for my dorm, luckily I had a padlock so was able to lock my valuables away, otherwise the whole property was very open and easily accessed by anyone. Bed was like concrete and dorm was absolutely freezing at night, actually made me very ill. Staff were nice and tried their best to keep the place clean but other guests left dirty underwear in communal showers and mouldy coffee cups in the dorms. Shame I had to witness one member of staff beating one of the dogs, and one of the puppies was limping around with what I overheard was a broken shoulder yet nobody seemed overly concerned?? The guests were pretty unfriendly and unwelcoming and as a solo traveller I didn't feel like I could approach them for fear of disturbing their clique. It's a fair walk from the main centre and a laborious task unless you rent a scooter.

Kristina is a fantastic host. She is so kind and helpful. Staying here was very peaceful and you could feel the connection with nature. It 100% lives up to it's name. The internet was strong and consistent, which was important for me as I work from my laptop. The location is great (only about a 10-15 minute walk to the center). The value of what you get for the price is mind blowing. Free coffee, free water and access to the fridge & freezer. More than what I could have asked for considering the low prices. Even though it is not expensive, it doesn't feel like a budget hostel. Everything was clean and cleaned up regularly, the shower worked great and the rooms feel really homely. Also, because it's inexpensive you can rent a motorcycle for around 100 baht a day if you prefer not to walk and still not break the bank. I plan on returning to Pai again and when I do, I'll be coming back here for sure! Thank you Kristina, it was an absolute pleasure to meet you.

I discovered this place when looking for a place to rent for a long period, while i was driving my scooter! As soon as i arrived, i discovered a little gem surrounded by nature. Only 15 min scooter driving from the city center of Pai, this place offers everything that you need to spend quality time in Pai. First the owners, a sweet and kind family always will to help you for anything, a beautiful common area in wood to have breakfast, the whole of the resort is amazingly well clean and tidy. Many trees, flowers and the river which is just down of the parc. The bungalows are nicely decorated, fully furnished with mini fridge, aircon, super matress, private bathroom, tv, terrace..I had a perfect stay when i was there and i can just recommend to everyone to stay in this treasure of nature, love and calmness. I loved this place. The huts were very nice, especially for the price. Even better was the location. About a 2min walk across the river to the main road with everything you want, yet the huts remained quaint in the evening hours. The staff was very friendly and even helped my SO make a phone call with an office in Bangkok. To top it off, there is a free breakfast every morning that provides a great start to the day. Two things you should know before staying that may affect your experience: 1) There is no AC in the huts, only a fan. I thought the fan actually did a very good job at keeping the hut cool considering the size. 2) This is surrounded by nature and next to a river. There are going to be bugs in your hut, mainly at night. That said, there were no flying bugs in our hut, only ants and a single snail one night that didn't harm or change our experience (these all occurred in our bathroom that was private, not the shared bathroom). On the plus side, there is a mosquito net around the bed.

We stayed for two nights and enjoyed every second of it. Unfortnuately, we had to leave Pai unplanned so we stayed the two nights instead of three. I would have stayed there for a whole month if I could. The breakfast is delicious, you can pay 100baht and get an american breakfast instead of the one the cottage offers. The staff is super friendly and you can feel that they want to make your stay as good as possible. The nature outside of the cottage is filled with cows, dogs, and even roosters. After staying in Pai last month (June) in a fancy hotel on the main location (walking street market), I would say that this is way better. A little far from the main street (10-15 min of walking), but totally worth it. Rent a scooter and the distance won't be an issue. A wonderful thing is also the fact that the staff is knowledgable with the main attractions in Pai and can give you information on where are the places that its worth to visit.

Excellent rooms, excellent service, excellent location and this against an excellent price. The owners are lovely. If one reads the reviews of Manticorny and PaulB, one concludes immediately that these people are a bit daft. PaulB is one of those people who expects 5 stars service for 10 Dollar per day. Lets not discuss that any further. To stay here with a complete family is not the smartest of choices either. The wooden huts are noisy. The cottage not really designed for kids, one could see this upon walking in. Pool water is circulating, so even if chlorine isnt added its fine to swim in, it is filled with river water and filtered. This would equal swimming in a river. People who write bad reviews, nitpicking over small stuff, demanding 5 stars service against a 1 star rate, should THINK a bit about what they are doing. Complete nobodies write damaging reviews, for what? Not all owners treat you like a king, some have a bad mood sometimes, they are human!! Not all Thai people are living up to the standard, and upon check-in you sign NO contract that stipulates unlimited amenities, love and/or a private butler. No food available? You're bang in the middle of town. Restaurants everywhere! No soap? Go get some at 7/11 you cheap daft B****** No Cola? ... Good! You shouldn't feed your kids that rubbish! No Scooter? Why should they have them? Literally 500 meters away are 4 rental places!! No daily turndown service or Towels? Just ask! They always do/give! Here is how stuff works. YOU BE NICE. THEY BE NICE. The hotel is on the bank of the Bai River, and there is a pontoon to walk to the market. The staff are warm and thoughtful and helped to walk a long way with luggage. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Maybe they just came from the Tree House Hotel and finally feel relieved. I had a good night's sleep. The breakfast is rich, the order system, the service is very nice. The swimming pool was very clean, but unfortunately, it rained for a long time the next day. The water in the pool was cold and the children could not swim as expected. Compared to the weekend night market in Chiang Mai, the night market here is more suitable for eating and walking. The fruit pancakes are really delicious!

Very nice room with a comfortable bed. The room itself was a little bit smaller than expected. The included breakfast was good as well, they deliver it to your balcony - which has a great view of the mountains. The jacuzzi on the balcony was a nice touch! Stayed twice here, not sure about previous reviews having issues with towels, never had problems myself. Chilled wide open area with nice little bungalows surrounded by fields, aircon, spacious. Solid wifi. Not top of the line hiso but good for Pai at this price. Pool is nice, staff are friendly. If you're worried about towel issues then bring your own maybe, but otherwise can't fault it. Stayed here for 2 nights as part of our trip around Thailand. We fell in love with Pai as soon as we arrived and wished we’d planned to stay longer, the hotel was also part of why we loved the place so much. All the ladies were so friendly who worked there, English wasn’t always 100% understood but they really tried their best to answer questions and advise. Good location, 1 minute from walking street. Room was so big with high ceilings and windows which opened outwards looking onto the road and mountains in the distance. Bed was so comfy, best mattress we slept on the whole trip! Hotel was really quiet, didn’t hear any other guests at all really despite the close location to bars and market in the evening. The bathroom was also great, little amenities and amazing rain shower head felt like heaven after trying some rather ‘slower’ showers! We visited the pool outside once but unfortunately it’s quite shaded all afternoon which meant the water was freezing as hadn’t warmed up much but nice to sit outside and read a book. They close the reception and lock the main doors at 10pm so give you a separate key to enter after this time and a number to call if any problems. Overall we loved Pai and loved our stay here we would love to return one day, we can see why so many people never end up leaving!

This place is fantastic if you want to get away from it all. It's on a dirt road 15 minutes walk from town, so a motorbike rental is advised. The individual bungalows have character, and the views of the surrounding countryside are awesome. The mud huts are a bit more expensive, but I prefer the round shape to the sharp corners of the wooden ones. It is a short walk from the White Buddha on the hillside, a perfect spot for viewing the sunset. No restaurant, but an excellent one called The House is but a two minute walk further along the dirt road. Be sure you have mosquito spray for sunset, but that's the only time you will need it.

Very good, rent a car from Chiang Mai Airport, the hotel has a special parking lot, but it is very small, can only park 2 cars. The room is nice and the bed at the entrance is great. Pai is already cooler at night. The hotel will put on mosquito coils in advance. If you stay in a hotel, you can get a 15% discount at the hotel’s own restaurant at night, and the meal is very affordable. I commented that the hotel’s self-operated bar would be very noisy at night. I especially saw a bar opposite the hotel. There are more Europeans and Americans, and it is quiet after 12 o’clock in the evening. The location is very good. It’s the night market when you go out, but if you are coming by car, it is recommended to come to the hotel before 4pm, otherwise you won’t be able to get in after the night market is set up.
