We were only there for three nights and for that period of time, as a base, Ambience was ideal. Only a short walk down to the main commercial areas and the cliffs. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom with towels changed daily. The breakfast at poolside was perfectly adequate and always fresh. The only slight downside was the position by a busy road which meant that sitting round the pool was a little noisy and occasionally you would smell the traffic fumes. For a short visit however it was a great base for those few days.

Very nice villa, location is good, both sides are landscape, facing the volcanic island, cruises often pass through the waters in front of them. It is also close to the town square. I ordered a two-bedroom suite. On the ground floor, the room was clean and slightly humid. In addition to the two large beds, there is also a very wide wooden sofa. The whole suite can accommodate five people. There are refrigerators, kitchenware, tableware, coffee machines, air conditioners, etc. There is also a small amount of drinking water, coffee powder, honey, jam, rusks and other simple foods. You don't need slippers and toiletries. The manager and waiter were very good. The small yard is full of vines, and it is pleasant to sit on the small terrace on the second floor. Compared to the one behind me in Yading, the price is super high!

The price is too high. Ctrip relied on Google Maps for 21,100 nights. It was only 100 Euros. The price doubled. The pool was too dark. The first day I did n’t tell us to upgrade the room. The swimming pool is small and the water is dirty like a footbath. Swimsuit Leucorrhea thought it was a better room and said it was a little far away to drive us to see the house was too disappointing. The house next to the house was so disappointing. The flock of flies in the stump house was so humid that we were impressed with Santorini. The extreme foreigner waiter has a patience and can't ask any questions and wants to sell you tourism products. I just charge 7 euros more for one person and breakfast just started and I said that the above is free and the money is not charged below It ’s part of the charge. At the time of checkout, the above also charges 12.5 Euros. It ’s black. I ’m dead. I ca n’t eat better. The impression is too bad. The plane originally had to be scheduled to drop off at nine o'clock. The people at the hotel said that they would drop off at ten o'clock. The line was set at ten. We stayed at Iliovasilema Suites for 5 nights in the middle of September, having booked a deal through Voyage Prive. I have always wanted to visit Santorini, however was not prepared to pay the extortionate pre-Covid prices (“budget” flight £600+ etc.) and there was the opportunity to do it at a more reasonable (I.e other Greek Island) prices. Our stay on the island was wonderful (no crowds, beautiful views) however I would not rush back to Iliovasilema. Positives: - The views are truly stunning, however it is worth noting that this is not specific to the hotel, but rather the location. - Rooms were clean and well maintained (based on our experience of 2 different rooms) - The Reception staff were very helpful in arranging a local car hire to be dropped off at the hotel. - Location is fab Negatives: - We had a bad experience on the first day with service due to being allocated the wrong room type. I appreciate that this is convoluted by the fact we did not book direct, however I did not expect to be made to feel like a liar/nuisance when I flagged the error with the hotel. We had specifically paid extra money to be upgraded from a double room to a Junior Suite because they were advertised as bigger, and most importantly as having PRIVATE rather than SEMI-PRIVATE balconies. When we were shown our first room (7) we had to access by walking across/through the balcony of another room, and then when we sat out on the balcony the was no divide between ours and the next door room - hard to enjoy the sunset in private when looking at the couple in the room next door less than 2m away trying to do the same. It was also clear that the room was not the 40m squared that was advertised on Voyage Prive. I actually measured the room and it came to just over 22m squared - the size of a double room specified in booking websites! When I raised this, firstly with the female morning/afternoon manger, and then the male afternoon/evening manager, they insisted that we had been given the right room. Confusingly, first I was told that there were no other rooms available (so I asked for a refund on the upgrade I paid) and then I was shown to a very dark room at the bottom of the hotel (think it was 3) which was bigger but smelt of damp/mould which we refused. It was only The next morning. when I asked for a refund on the upgrade and also put my complaint in writing to Voyage Prive, that miraculously another room became available. We were moved to room 19 which was lovely - a suite with a living area, bedroom and two balconies that were private. - Room Service was quite sporadic. Any food was served to rooms because of Covid 19 precautions, which was fine, however more often than not (especially with breakfast) it arrived at least 15 to 20 minutes late or early meaning we either had to jump out of bed and scramble around to get to the door, or were left waiting and had to call reception. Breakfast on our last day was ordered for 10am - it arrived at 9:38am.

We had been double booked by accident at another property and so we were so lucky to find an opening at the Blue & White House for 3 nights. Maria was fast at responding to our inquiry and readily available by email. We were able to leave our bags there in the transition while the cave house was being cleaned which was very nice. The Cave house has an amazing front courtyard patio with table and 4 chairs under a large umbrella that looks out to a three bell church tower and the blue sea below. This view is spectacular. The house has a small kitchen with everything needed to make small meals, coffee, a fridge and stove top. Inside there are built in sofas and a full dining table. The bedroom in the rear has a double bed, and at the back there is a full dated bathroom (with shower) and a washing machine (we didn’t use). The cave house is full of art work, standing bronzes and paintings, as well as many interesting tchotchkes and a collection of books. There is a CD player and a collection of Greek CDs. Off of the patio there is also a half bath. You must use the breaker box for front or rear cave to get hot water but that wasn’t a problem for us. Breakfast service may be a few sweet breads or a few slices of spanakopita, so make sure you buy groceries if you are looking for something more. The intrepid Mr Sunil brought these daily and furtively asked us our plans as any catamaran or beach or pool visits he can book if you are in need of activities. There are many stairs down to the property so those with mobility issues may want to take that into consideration. For us sitting in the front courtyard reading and sipping tea was everything.

We stayed here for three nights on the beautiful island of Santorini. We were blown away with how beautiful the view was, how clean and precise the suite was and how accommodating and polite the owners were. The suite was exactly as described and photographed online, but in real life it looked even better. The view from the bed is priceless... it is one of the best (if not the best) on the island; looking out to sea and enjoying a glorious sunset which other tourists are surely envious of. The hot tub was a luxury; nothing better than enjoying a glass of wine on the balcony, watching the sunset followed by a dip in the hot tub. Amazing. And local wine was given to us complimentary each day. It tasted really nice. We were really grateful for this touch! As well as the Nespresso machine with complimentary pods each day and a bottle of water. The breakfast each morning was to die for; fresh fruits and local Greek yogurt (the best we have ever tasted - bold statement!), crossiants, boiled eggs, Greek antipasto platters with olives, cheeses and meats, fresh bread, numerous condiments, fresh brewed coffee and squeezed juice. Amazing. The suite offers privacy as well as very close links to Fira town. Easy to walk to, but be mindful, carrying suitcases up and down 100 steps is not for the faint hearted! There is a slightly easier option to the left of the suites (next to the church) which is a slight detour but not so sleep nor so many steps. Sadly for us, we only found out about the alternative route at the end of our holiday! The steps, however aimed to keep us semi fit during our stay. We could not fault Alma Libra Suites; one of the best places we have EVER stayed at; and we travel A LOT! Thanks again guys, you couldn’t have done a better job. We loved staying and would cry happily stay again. 10/10 for sure!

1. The boss is very enthusiastic, personally picking up and dropping off the plane at the airport, and also helping with large luggage. 2. The scenery is also super beautiful. The cliff walkway at the door and the sea open the window. The location of the hotel is the most beautiful section of the whole Santorini. I immediately recommended it to a friend who was going to visit in the next two days, and it was also full of excitement and amazement. 3. Walk along the cliff trail to Fira Town for about 20 minutes (the two places are 1 km apart), or there is a bus stop on the road behind the hotel. It takes 5 minutes to Fira by car and 20 minutes to OIA Town. , The boss will also inform the location of the bus stop and the direction to the town.

Hotel location is not very easy to find, you can contact the landlord to pick up the station dock in advance, stay free for more than three days, charge for three days or less. The breakfast is very good and will be delivered to the room every morning. There are microwave ovens, induction cookers and simple cutlery, which should be cleaned later. It is best to rent a car and talk to the landlord. The car rental company will send it to the hotel, and will not add other fees, just the daily rent. 10 euros of gasoline is enough to run for two days. Returning the car can be done at the airport or at the pier.

The location of the hotel is not easy to find, the navigation is wrong, and it is all stone steps, carrying luggage is very tragic, you must contact the hotel in advance, and let them lead the way. In fact, this homestay is not a hotel. It is quite different from the picture. It does not have the feeling of taking a hot bath on the beach. The balcony is very small and it is connected to another room. The bathtub is next to the road and completely unobstructed. People often walk by. The privacy is poor. I don’t like it here. I feel that the hotel we stayed in imerovigli is much better. It’s quieter and all have independent balconies. The privacy is better and the sea view is more beautiful. Cheap and cost-effective. This hotel is as appealing in real life as it looks in the photos. It looks and feels luxurious and stylish, and the "vibe" is perfect - funky but chilled. Don't be put off by it's location slightly outside the centre of Fira - it's a very short walk. Compared to hotels of this quality on the caldera, this one is exceptional value for money, and has much more space, with two pools - a smallish one and a brand new, larger, "beach pool" next to the new bar/restaurant. Both pools have jacuzzi sections. Most of the clientele are young, beautiful, trendy twenty-somethings. Ambient house music pumps out around the pool during the day. So I wouldn't describe this as a "family hotel". But children who stay are made to feel very welcome - our two daughters loved it. We were initially given a much smaller room than the one I'd booked. It was a nice room in the 'Evgenia' part of the hotel, but a very tight squeeze for 4 people. This was put right when I questioned it, and we were moved to a larger family suite near the pool. All the staff were really friendly, helpful and attentive at all times. The room had a kettle, fridge, coffee, toiletries, robes & slippers. Pool towels were available free of charge. It's a fantastic place to stay, but there are a few minor points which could be improved, which is why I've rated it a 4, not 5: - Breakfast is quite a strange affair. You are not asked what you want to eat. A standard selection of food is simply brought to your table. This is delicious and plentiful and includes yoghurt, pastries, tomatoes, olives, cheeses, and freshly-cooked omelette. But a lot is wasted. It would be nice to be given some options, which would also cut down on waste. - There are not quite enough staff. The only breakfast waiter is also the only pool attendant and the only luggage attendant. So if someone checks out during breakfast time, he will go to carry their bags, meaning no more breakfast waiter. This is not his fault, he works exceptionally hard to provide excellent service, but the hotel should really hire an extra person. - The living area with the kids beds has a bright light above the door which can't be switched off. It was preventing them from sleeping, so we had to hang a blanket over to cover it. I asked for it to be turned off but was told it couldn't be for safety reasons. This would be OK if it was a small, dim emergency light, but it's large, too bright, and completely unnecessary. - A few hooks to hang robes etc would be beneficial. - The metal door catches in our room stuck out from the door frame like arrows, so you need to be careful not to injure yourself on them like I did. - Finally, the double sunbeds around the pool are a fabulous way to relax on a hot afternoon, but there are not quite enough of them. Often people were waiting for a sunbed to become free. A couple more would be ideal. These are minor issues which would be easy to fix and would make the hotel absolutely perfect. We

I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a beautiful getaway! Especially for couples. Upon arrival, the hotel manager greeted us at the front gate and had our luggage taken down the steps for us. He proceeded to check us in and explain all that the hotel and surrounding area has to offer. He had snacks and champagne ready for us that we could enjoy while he explained and provided many recommendations. He recommended a sunset catamaran cruise that can be booked directly from the hotel. We opted in booking it and it was the best decision. It was beautiful and overall a great experience. He also recommended what beaches, restaurants and landmarks to visit and this was a great help. The manager really went above and beyond to make sure that we knew all the options so that we could pick what we wanted to do. The hotel location was great, in between Oia and Thera. The views from the Jacuzzis are breathtaking and I recommend staying at the hotel and enjoying at least one sunset. We booked the hotel for 3 nights and we ended up staying an additional 2 nights. Thank you to all of the great staff there for making our experience so great. 5 stars +

The location is not far from the Ferra station. After arriving at the station, it will go to the right (uphill) and then sit down (downward). It is time to pay attention to the flower aroma suites at the door. The hotel has a great view, the balcony faces west and the sunset is especially beautiful. There are loungers on the top floor for easy sun and all kinds of pats. My room is a walk down, the room has a bath, so it is damp and dark. Water mist is on the door and on the table at night. The bath can't be completely turned off, there is no door, only the curtain, so there will be sound, it may feel a bit noisy. The entire bathroom is made of purple marble cubes and it feels a bit erotic at first glance. Reception is very welcoming, will ask you for your flight time, and also help print the boarding pass. Overall, the view is great, the price is very low in the off-season, recommended ~ PS: When I booked, I noticed the honeymoon room. After a while, the order showed the suite. Even the pictures were completely different. It was originally a bright white honeymoon room. The result turned into a purple and gray suite for the honeymoon trip. Left a regret. We stayed at the Andronis in Oia after spending 5 nights on the beach on the other side of the island. The 2 hotels liaised to ensure on arrival that our room was ready. We were greeted by the fabulous Christina who welcomed us with a drink and then took us to our suite. The suite feels uncluttered and very nicely furnished, although I would have preferred a proper bed rather than a mattress on a raised platform. The outside space is very cleverly designed so that you feel completely private and secluded with a view out to the ocean, and the most amazing sunsets. The private pool is really clever, not just a plunge pool but an actual pool you can swim in, and the temperature was perfect. The hotel feels completely Covid safe and the staff wear masks and hand sanitiser readily available there are also complimentary masks and hand sanitiser in the room, I never once felt uneasy. The main swimming pool is very cool with an infinity style pool and sun beds that are in the water, we spent the majority of our time in our room and on our private terrace and felt we didn’t need to use the shared area. There is music played all the time in the restaurant and pool area which we didn’t like - but probably most people do like this, it’s hard to cater to everyone’s needs. The breakfast was from a menu and there was plenty of choice and good juices. We had lunch a few times but didn’t eat there in the evenings. Christina organised some fabulous dinners for us in Oia, it’s lovely to leave the seclusion of the Andronis and in 5 mins you are in the middle of Oia which feels altogether different and busier - glad we weren’t staying in a hotel in Oia as they are all built on top of each other and there isn’t much privacy or space. Christina organised a massage for me which I would highly recommend, the spa area is beautiful and well worth a visit. I also did a complimentary yoga class which was great. We had a very relaxing and pampered stay and would highly recommend this hotel as you get the best of both worlds by being within walking distance of Oia but having space and seclusion. Christina really is an asset to this hotel and I don’t think our experience would have been quite the same without her. Thank you

Fira
Myself wife and son shared a comfortable 5 night stay at the Solaris hotel in a comfortably sized triple room. It was located about 5 minute walk (up a hill) from the center of Fira. The room was clean and had a fridge. It was serviced everyday and we were given clean towels daily. The breakfast was plentiful and self service and there was reasonably variety. We didn't really sit outside or use the pool as we were exploring the island and it was end of October but the hotel was close enough to come back and shower before we went out again. Hotel arrange an airport pick up for Euro 20, the driver was there waiting for us and we were charged as quoted. No complaints about the Internet from my teenage son. There was a bit of traffic noise but was not a problem. Staff were friendly and happy to offer advice. We would happily stay again. I have given it an excellent as it delivered everything I would have wanted from a 3 star budget hotel.

The location of the hotel is very good, just on the cliff, it looks beautiful. But when the faucet is turned on in the bathroom, it smells very bad, just like opening ten rotten eggs in front of you, the whole room will smell bad. The premium suite we booked was the corner room, and other rooms had to pass through the yard at our entrance, and the room with the same type and price had better view and privacy. The room was always empty. No one came until we left... Due to flight problems, we were delayed by one day to the hotel. We discussed with the hotel whether we could upgrade the room one day. The hotel kept saying that it was fully booked. We said it would be okay to pay for another day, but the front desk of the hotel was very perfunctory. The room in the outdoor pool is available when there is a vacancy, and booking can also be booked ~ just to lie to us that there is no room to upgrade😂 The hotel staff who help with luggage and room service are very enthusiastic and have a very good attitude Hygiene is not cleaned every day. One day after we put a sign and did not clean, we didn’t put a sign that didn’t clean and didn’t clean it again.😂😂 There are two car rental companies next to the hotel, the prices are both 40-55 Euro/day, the lowest car type, the hotel’s car of the same grade costs 75 Euro/day... Don’t rent a car through the hotel reception😂

Mesaria
The price of seven or eight hundred in the off season is very suitable. Maybe there are not many off-season hotels on the island, especially the five-star ones, and the occupancy rate is quite high. But the front desk staff didn't look very enthusiastic, and asked her to arrange the two rooms together. The boss said unhappyly, you didn't say it before. As a service industry, do you have a basic sense of service? The same room type was booked, one for the east facing balcony with no sofa bed, and the other for the south facing balcony without sofa bed. The muscular man who helped with the luggage was still very good and gave him a tip for five euros. Hygiene is also good. Slippers and toiletries are provided. However, we usually only put two copies for the three of us. We have to ask the front desk for delivery, which is a bit troublesome. The location is a quarter of a clock away from the airport, and has its own parking lot, but it is very small, I don't know what will happen in the peak season. You do n’t drive yourself and do n’t know how to get there.

Fira
In the central area of Fira. Shopping is very convenient, and although it is not very noisy in the room next to the street, soundproofing is OK.
