Including what problems I have to consult him is the first time to give me a satisfactory answer, in short, I am very satisfied with the stay at this hotel, and I am very satisfied with the front desk Zhang Wei. No breakfast, the location is near the Chinese street, it is convenient to eat. Not far from the door is the Vietnamese street, there are many women on the street, so it is not convenient to go in and out. Family or male and female friends are not suitable for travel. If you do not consider this factor, the hotel's price is good.

The breakfast was good and the scenery was good. The environment of the room is average. However, in Xigang, this is already a relatively high cost-effective room. The most important thing is that they also provide pick-up and drop-off services. If you travel by yourself, be sure to let the handlebars take you to the hotel door. Because the hotel is in the mountains. If you just go to the side of the road, it is really an individual effort to go up.

We stayed during the COVID-19 pandemic which obviously affected our stay, the island was much quieter than usual which was good and bad (none of the parties were on and the beach was much emptier than usual). But all the staff were really helpful about the whole situation and were offering discounted rates. The location is perfect. A 5 minute walk from the main village (and 10 minutes from police beach) with all the restaurants and bars and a 10 minute walk in the other direction to 4k beach which is beautiful and more quiet. The resort can organise boat trips to the other beaches on the island. The best thing about the bungalow (although ours was a sea view with AC so was more of a treehouse) was the beach, which you have a great view of from the balcony! You could sit in the hammock or comfy chairs all day watching the sea. The beach is private and is the best on the Koh Toch bay with white sand and clean waters (although the resorts on the island needs to lead beach clean ups as even without many tourists there was lots of rubbish). Also watch out for the sand flies - invest in some DEET bug spray or coconut oil. The bungalows themselves are quite simple with only a bed, bedside table and some shelving but they were clean and comfortable and enough for a week long stay - although I can see why some people felt frustrated when paying $90+ a night. We never had a problem with bugs or brown water and found everything very satisfactory! The island is quite expensive and is cash only so make sure you have enough as the cash our services charge 10%. Would definitely recommend staying at the White Beach Bungalows! Worth the extra money compared to other resorts on the island for sure. Thanks to all the staff as well, hopefully we’ll be back again!

Overall, it's worth choosing here. Location: The location is a bit remote, and you need to transfer to the hotel's shuttle boat from Saracen Bay. There are three flights a day, at 10 am, 1 pm and 4 pm. Anyway, it was a bit frustrating. Scenery: The beach is small, the sand is yellow, it is not very good, and you can only watch the sunrise. There is no other thing to see in the surroundings, but the hotel is dazed, sunbathing, swimming pool bubbles. You like it, that's fine. There are many foreigners, and few Asians. Facilities: The hotel's various facilities are fully equipped with welfare toilets and shower systems. The whole hotel is new, so it's okay. Is not equipped with luggage locks, lockers need to buy separately. Service: The hotel will press the passport, they will give you a bracelet for spending and keeping accounts, and settle when you leave. The dormitory is cleaned every day, but the sheets for me are not particularly clean, with some small details. Price: Because I live here, I only choose to dine here, the taste is not bad, but the price is a bit high, but the portion is ok. Others: Booked in advance at Ctrip, but the price was a lot higher. Originally, it was tens of blocks a night, and 230 beds a night was booked. Fortunately, Ctrip took care of it and made some compensation. Although the price change of the hotel is completely understandable, the gap is so large, because the same partner who stayed that night was also booking by Ctrip, only 91, indicating that Ctrip's control over overseas hotel prices still needs to be improved.

Xigang is now a large construction site. Roads are being built everywhere. The road from the airport to the hotel was disappointed. I was told to check in at 2 o'clock and went to the local market. I felt like a day trip to the countryside. 9 10,000 riels of eggs, money is really worthless. I was finally able to check in, but I was told that the Mouton room booked in advance was gone, and I could only stay in a twin room. The name was upgraded, but I paid for the reservation more than half a month in advance. How could this happen? To live is to look at Mouton, or which one is different? Very unhappy. Later, through Ctrip negotiations, appropriate economic compensation was made. The condition of the room was average. It was the worst along the way. I was attacked by a cricket in the morning and grabbed my food. The hotel's beach and infinity pool are still nothing to say, it is really beautiful. At night, friends have fun playing water, and foreign friends teach me enthusiastically. Haha, I really don't understand what she said.

We live in Phnom Penh and are regular visitors to various Cambodian beaches, Anaya is our new favorite. We drove down from town, parked at the private port and took the 30 minute direct speedboat which was immaculate. We had a couple of rooms next to each other with sea views. We loved the decor, simple and very clean. Crisp, fresh white bedding and fluffy towels. The open air shower had decent water pressure and it was nice to look up and see the trees. Yes the water is not 'crystal clear' but it's an island in the dry season. Using bottled water to brush your teeth is pretty standard here. The beach is very calm with shallow water, perfect for paddle boarding which kept our tween and teen busy. At night you can see little specs of bioluminescent plankton in the sea, we wanted to take the boat out to swim in it but conditions weren't right, next time! We also liked the pool for the late afternoon so you would hear music from the bar. Playlists were very good and varied. The food and drinks were delicious, great cocktails. Reasonably priced and veggie/ vegan friendly. We were all big fans of the pizza, great real French fries and my kids were very happy with the mango ice cream. I want to mention the staff who were super helpful and made our holiday great, particularly Theara, Anny, Seyha and Ann on reception, I hardly ever write reviews but they inspired me to. There are few good resorts are on this stretch of white sand, a couple relocated from Otres beach. Tamu is next door with a lovely shaded palm tree garden and Secret Garden is at the far end of the beach. Great for a bit of a walk and sunset drinks and dinner. We also hired a taxi to visit the other side of the island and went to the Italian restaurant Eat,Pray,Love but it wasn't as nice, you get big waves there but we preferred Anaya.

What to say that we have not said before ! This place is our Paradise, we love it here. The location on a stunning beach with the best sunsets ever makes it fabulous. However what makes it extra special are the owners, staff and volunteers. The are all service oriented and nothing is to much trouble. We again stayed in bungalow 3 which has all you need. A comfortable bed with mosquito net and ceiling fan, and bathroom with cold shower. Small patio with table and chair and hammock. The food is fabulous with the Pizza deserving a special mention along with the fresh pressed coffee in the morning. As said we absolutely love this place and the owners Parisa, Karlo and Momo along with the Manager Paulo, the Cambodian staff and volunteers are what made our week long stay extra special. We can’t thank them all enough and wish them every success and hope life brings good things for them all. Thank you Tracy & Stephen Don’t hesitate to try Sunboo as it’s paradise and you won’t be disappointed

I think Gao Long Salem Island is a place where people can relax, quiet and cozy. The white sandy beach, clear water, and comfortable living environment, I really did not choose the wrong place. There are fewer tourists here on Long Island, but the ecological environment is very good. Even the most hated mosquitoes in Westport are few, like an outdoor Taoyuan. The environment of the hotel is nothing to say. It only takes 3 minutes to walk from the pier, and it is very close. The service is very good. I personally like this style. It has hot water, wifi, air conditioning, and the bed is super comfortable. The only drawback is that the hotel does not provide slippers, and walking barefoot on the floor is really uncomfortable for me. Because the boss is a Westerner, I do n’t ask which country, so it ’s all steaks, pasta and the like. They are very delicious and have enough portions. There is grilled seafood made by locals next night, which is so delicious and meets my taste. Because the holidays are limited and I have to leave before I have enough time, the boss repeatedly confirms the time of the returning boat, which is very considerate. The whole process of English communication has greatly improved my oral English. My overall feeling is simply perfect.

After a few hectic days in Bangkok and intensiv Temple hopping in Angkor we are slowly learning the Cambodian mode - take nothing för granted and always double check all arrangements agred, preferably by telephone. Mailas in advance simply seems to be forgotten. 5 With these impressions and experiences we continued to Koh Rong Salaloem for 5 Days relax on the beach. Perfect hide away for us looking for clean, uncompromized beaches and a peaceful rather than busy atmosphre. After 2 days we decided to translocate from the main Saracen beach to the isolated and very secluded Sandy Beach. Booked a sea front Chalet at Sandy Resort. This requies a long tail transport offered free by the resort-3 times a day. Here a minor miscommunication arose, and we had to give the resort a calll and alert. The boat arrived an hour late, to our great dissatisfaction. But upon arrival Mr Sean and his very helpful colleagues recieved us and immediately gave us an excuse and an overwhelming compensation that far outweight the inconvenience. The personell at both this Resort and the higher tier next door Tube Resort (same owner) are communicative in English in a way we never experienced here before - an international mix of Finnish; South African, Malaysian and locals. All with unparalleled skills in service, attention and problem solving with authority. Thé resort(s) itself exceeded our high expectations. The only restaurant is a bit more expensiv than others we have tried on the island, but simply superb. Apart from swimming, reading, tanning, resting there are few things to do on this 500m long isolated beach resort, than plåtning or dinner at the on-the-beach restaurant. But without Mr Sean's and the receptionists at both Sandy Resort and the Tube site next door, I am afraid my review Gould have been repellent and full of negatives. But now I say; don't miss this hidden Pearl. I let the other reviewers focus on the rest.

Without the shuttle service, the boss and the manager were very good, so I went to the hotel to check in for a few hours, either without air conditioning, or a standard room, or without hot water, and finally finally got it. I would suggest not paying for the hotel upfront as they don’t do refunds. Also a lot happens in Cambodia, the locals operate on their own time so might not make it to destination on the day you desire. Well that’s what happened to me. The place is great for all types of travelers but I would suggest a maximum 2night stay in this side of the island as there are some other more active places to see like Koh toch and 4K beach. The place is beautiful but quiet.

The Secret Garden is a delightful tranquil resort. Located at the end of a quiet beach, the stunning views (available from all rooms, though some are partial views only) are a sight to behold. The aquamarine water and soft white sand felt like I was living in a postcard. The rooms are zen-like chic, with comfortable beds, a large bathroom and outdoor shower. They offer Kambio Nature toiletries in the rooms which smell utterly divine. The beach was combed daily by the resort’s excellent ground staff thus sandflies were virtually nonexistent. The extensive menu at the restaurant was appreciated, especially given that I stayed for over a week and wanted variety. I loved the gorgeous array of Moomin mugs at breakfast - a fun and whimsical touch! The wifi is very effective at the resort. I could stream movies without buffering about 90% of the time. The staff are all exceptionally well trained, very friendly, hospitable and show initiative at remembering favourite meals and drinks and organizing ferry and transport bookings. I love this place and look forward to returning for some R&R soon.

Sunrise Resort is just at the end of the pier and is the only bungalow hotel on Coconut beach that has the principal features of a hotel but falls far short of 4 star level and is over priced for what it offers. It is the only hotel with a pool and the large bungalows (concrete) with terrace are very clean and in a good condition with large open bath rooms. The access to the bungalows is excellent via the concrete pavement up the small hill but sadly they have removed nearly all plants so it feels rather cold and not very tropical. The “restaurant” is actually the beach loungers in the sand in the front and is really just said up for breakfast so most guests eat a restaurants next door. The staff is very friendly, as always in Cambodia, and try to be helpful though they need far more training. When I checked in the safe did not work, apart from not being mounted, and considering one can only pay in cash in this hotel (others on the beach accept cards) you need a lot of cash so it was important for security. After 5 reminders they finally came and managed to open but could not close it again so very useful! Eventually they took it away as if this solved the problem… When I brought this to the attention of the manager 2 days later he response was “if you are not happy, leave and we refund you the balance!” despite having booked and prepaid for 6 nights. Safe issued was never solved. Moreover he had great complaints that I requested prior to check-in to extend my stay with one day. What a helpful and serviceminded “manager”! Despite his rude behaviour I decided against taking this further as I was on holiday but when I needed the electronic key reset for the additional day he refused to do until I had paid the additional day after having been at the hotel for 6 days! Well maybe I needed to access to my money in the room first. At this stage I had enough of his insults (other guest also had issues with him) and checked out immediately. I short; Cut prices and the manager

This resort is located at the end of Saracen Bay so you have the benefit of some seclusion from the rest of the Bay, although its not totally private, more tucked away at the side. It overlooks the bay and there are small huts elevated above the water and mangroves with hammocks inside, or just plain wooden floors where you can sit within and watch the ocean, read, meditate or do yoga in which is quite nice. The private hut I had could do with a bit of a spruce up. There were a few damaged areas and there were pictures (artwork) sitting beneath a desk that needed to be hung up on the wall. The wicker seats on the verandah were a bit ratty on the edge and scratched my bare legs a bit but overall it was good enough. There was a hammock out the front. The bed was big, comfortable, the sheets were clean and the towels nicely arranged for visitors and there were some toiletries for guests who arrived like toothbrush, soaps etc. the usual requirements to maintain and refresh when traveling. The restaurant overlooked the bay which was nice but its open, no frills and the dogs wander through which is ok by me, I like dogs but that mightn't be every one's preference. So, if you love dogs, this place is for you. I do love dogs! The staff are friendly, sometimes the supplies seemed to need to be replenished, as occasionally they might not have had things like fresh coconuts but it is an island and supplies must be brought in so I'm ok with that. The price is somewhat cheaper than the very overpriced resorts near the centre of the bay so this is a plus. So this place is more like a relaxed, no-fuss beach house where not everything is brand new but its workable, the end of the bay is quiet, the dogs are a nice presence (if you like that), the restaurant has a partial view to the sea and serves reasonable food.

Stayed at Sky Beach resort this week for 5 nights. Originally booked for 4 and extended one. Just had to stay at this paradise for one more night. The entire experience was awesome from booking to my whole stay. Booked on booking.com for a standard bungalow and they upgraded me to the beach front family bungalow with no extra. That was a very good start. I stayed both in the family bungalow right on the beach and the standard bungalow about 20 meters from the waves (also with sea view). Rooms are very clean, comfy and spacious and with a veranda. The highlight of this place is the location. It is located on the very quiet end of the Saracen bay near the southern pier. It is a family run resort so with fewer bungalows meaning less people to share this piece of paradise. The place is very peaceful and quiet, away from the nosy tourists and day trippers and the party scene. You can walk to the busier end in about 20 mins or can take a taxi boat. I personally went to the island for the peace and quiet and Sky Beach Resort is perfect. I reckon it’s better than the nearby big resorts like The One where they have far more guests and loads of kids. Then there’s the staff.... Touch and his crew mostly family members were fantastic. Friendly, welcoming and helpful. They really made me feel welcome and catered for my needs. There’s nothing too much to ask (for all reasonable requests). And the restaurant... they do simple, yet yummy local and western dishes. It is just that, simple and yummy. Do remember you are on an island with very limited resources. This is not like islands in Thailand or Malaysia. So please don’t come and expect everything dirt cheap. Brekkie is included, coffee, fruit shakes and a handful of simple main course to choose from. Again, simple and tasty and definitely enough. This is not a 5 star resort. You certainly don’t pay the 5 star rate so don’t expect a King/Queen’s welcome and level of amenity. If you want a 5 star resort experience with a bath tub and chocolate and rose peddles on your bed then this is not for you. BUT, if you want a piece of paradise, roll off the bed and you are in the water, sitting on the veranda listening to the waves, comfy, clean place with amazing staff, then definitely check Sky Beach Resort out. I’m going back when the season starts again 🥰

The good thing is that on Independence Avenue, the noise of buildings is relatively high. Facilities are poor.
