The area around the is going through a rebuild. As there's no air con I slept with a window open. No need for an alarm as the construction work woke me every morning. The rooms are large, clean (some signs of mould in the shower) and the staff are efficient and helpful. Didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on the food.
It is close to the Sonnenallee train station, and it is very convenient, but it is still one or twenty minutes away from the center of Berlin. The rooms are quite large and well equipped with bathtub. The sound insulation is good and the bed is comfortable.
Berlin is big... there are even two jahnstraßes, both of which go from the Karl-Marx Str. And of course twice the house number 13. That wasn't so funny, because my sister lives at Hermannplatz, not near the metro borderallee. But: The hotel's environment was just right, a luck. With the metro I was backpack everywhere, the late around the corner had everything I had forgotten at home, and also just a few steps away I could walk with my two dogs beautifully in green. Even a beautiful cemetery with many birds is in the nearby run, exactly right for a relaxing walk. It's a little like in the village when you run away from the main road. That to the drums. The hotel itself is simple but friendly furnished, the open breakfast area came very close to me, because so my (calm, well-treated) dogs were allowed to provide me with breakfast society. That has contributed very much to my (and her!) wellbeing. What I found fun was my bathroom - such a plastic pre-cabine equipped with cabins. All inside, all inside, there is nothing to make, picobello clean, but just unexpected. That there is something else! I have sleeped very well, the bed was comfortable, and despite the construction site in front of the window it was absolutely quiet and the overgardens dark the room best. The staff was very friendly, it was a round-of-complicated stay.

Basic but clean hotel in a good location in neukölln. It’s more like a hostel than a hotel, there is never anybody at the reception. So better have a cell phone ready to contact anyone if you need assistance. when I arrived in the evening (you can check in until 10 pm) nobody was at the reception to open the door and I didn’t have a cell phone.
Worst place I have stayed in ten years, which isn't saying much given I am a frequent business traveller (book at least 75+ hotel rooms a year). I was asked at the last minute to replace a colleague at meetings in Berlin, only to find out that everything was booked solid in the Neukolln area. My colleague booked this hotel at the last minute for me, with an apology, as nothing else was available near the Estrel Convention Center and I ended up here in a smoky, dirty room. Worst situation was that the staff were completely unfriendly and unhelpful. I arrived in the early afternoon, and took a taxi to the hotel, arriving around 12:15pm. I asked if an early check-in was possible, and they said there were no clean rooms yet. I asked if I could fill out the paperwork and leave luggage, as I had meetings all afternoon and a dinner scheduled in the evening, so I wouldn't be back until after 10pm. When I arrived back at 10:30pm, I was offered a dirty room that reeked of cigarette smoke (blood and some sort of black dirt on the sheets, food on the curtains, dead fly on the ceiling, clumps of someone else's hair in the bed and on the toilet seat). The worst for me was the smoke smell, as I am a non-smoker and several colleagues also attending the same meeting also smelled the room and said it was disgusting. I asked if another room was available and they said no. I asked if there was a manager who could come talk to me, and they said no. I asked why the internet didn't work, and they said they had no idea why the internet didn't work, but I could pay for an ‘upgrade’ if I wanted. I had to go downstairs no less than five times because the room key they gave me didn't work, the internet didn't work, the room stank... the staff were rude and disinterested. The next morning when asked to speak to the manager about the situation, she was also defensive, rude and didn’t even acknowledge a problem when I showed her the room and explained that for someone who doesn’t smoke, a room that smells that strongly of smoke is completely unacceptable. She offered to spray some air freshener and marched out. Please do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else! I would not judge this to be a 3 star hotel, unless they can bring the standard up.
Actually, I stayed at the hotel for 6 consecutive nights. The overall feeling was not bad. There was a big window like the inner balcony. The window was opened and the green felt at your fingertips. The only bad thing was that there was a little noise. It would be better to close the window. . My colleague and I opened the window for a few nights and didn't turn on the air conditioner. It felt very comfortable. 1. Breakfast is quite rich compared to Europeans. 2. The location is not the city center. There are local small supermarkets within 3 minutes walk. There are Chinese restaurants and large supermarkets in about 20 to 25 minutes. 3. There is no parking lot, the car is parked on the side of the road in front of the hotel.
This hotel is in the south of Berlin, only 15 minutes from Sch?nefeld Airport. It offers a breakfast buffet each morning and free Wi-Fi Internet in the rooms.Directly next to Neuk?lln Hospital, the Hotel Atlantic offers simple, spacious rooms. All rooms have a private bathroom and include a flat-screen TV.Just 700 metres away from the Hotel Atlantic you find Berlin's largest shopping centre, the Gropius Passagen. Many restaurants are also within easy walking distance.Bus 171 to Sch?nefeld Airport stops just 50 metres from the Atlantic. Using the same bus, as well as the underground, famous Alexanderplatz Square can be reached in 40 minutes.
Because I had to catch a flight early the next morning, I chose this hotel near the airport and close to the S light rail. Feeling cost-effective, transportation is also very convenient. The most touching thing is that the hotel's service is super good. Because my English is not very good, the waiter took the initiative to help me fill in the check-in form, and also used the translation software to communicate with me in Chinese, so the service I have not encountered in other hotels. Thank you! All five points of praise!
The hotel is very good, more than 20 minutes from Berlin city by S train. After buying the tickets on the platform, you must remember to plug in the machine next to it to check the time~ If it is a small group of 5 people, it is recommended to buy a team ticket~ more cost-effective~
The service staff is also very patient. We deducted 25 euros per room one or two days before check-in. We asked about things every day. The hotel staff explained to us very clearly. In contrast, the Ctrip staff showed their shortcomings. I only talk about things. Our own process: After discovering these deductions, we contacted Ctrip's customer service and responded to the question. Ctrip said to help us understand the situation. After a while, we replied to us. Afterwards, Ctrip called: 1 did not contact us hotel. 2 They can help us ask questions as friends. We are a little angry at the end. We are wondering why we are ”helping” as ”friends” to ask? Instead of being an official booking platform?
We believe in Ctrip. However, we are not satisfied with the previous resolution of this matter. It is hoped that Ctrip can have a better communication and handling mechanism in handling timely problems in the future. People who are away from home are most afraid of things that they don’t understand. They thought they could find a platform to communicate and deal with it in a timely manner. . Thank you~
Hotels Near Schmalenbachstr. (Berlin) In Berlin Review
The hotel is okay overall, in the Siemens town, next to the subway. Not too much service, some at the front desk are good, some are not smiling, but also charge extra for breakfast. Later, I will go to the exhibition and change places.
Location is awesome. It's almost like living in a park atmosphere. Lots of walking trails nearby, close to downtown and most of the major tourist attractions, but still in a quiet area. Public transit is readily available (bus stop right across the street, and several trams within short walking distance). Front desk staff were incredible throughout our 5-day stay there -- from check-in to check out. As we were in Germany to assist a family member, ours was more like a working holiday than a relaxing one and although our personal circumstances were seemingly constantly in flux, the staff were EXTREMELY courteous and helpful in adapting our reservations several times. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained. There is a nice beer garden in the back where you can get an early start on ”the German experience”, but don't worry about all-night partying or rowdiness...it closes around 9:00 p.m. so, even though we had a room right above it, the noise was never an issue. Rooms are well-soundproofed so getting a good night's sleep was never a problem either. I would give this place more stars if possible, primary due to the outstanding staff and service provided during our stay. This will definitely be our ”go-to” place whenever we are in Berlin.
When we visited this hotel, it was just opened. Everything was therefore brand-new. Fine rooms with good beds, friendly staff at the reception and a very good breakfast for not even € 12,- Besides, the hotel is only 200 metres from station Gesundbrunnen from which you can reach the whole city with all kinds of public transport. You can also, paid, park well below or next to the hotel. If I have to mention a point of attention: the duvets are a little too small to the width of the bed.
There is a bus stop 7 minutes downstairs, the bus is super punctual, and it takes only 10 minutes to reach the Brandenburg Gate~~ Hotel facilities are great! ! More than 600 nights, five stars really live super satisfied ~~~ just breakfast is too expensive ~ to 25 euros, choose to go to the nearby supermarket to buy German bread drink latte solution ~~~
The location is good, it is very convenient to go to various attractions, and you can walk or take public transportation. Shopping around is very convenient. Reception front desk and doorman service are very good and very polite. The hotel's decoration style is more ancient, and it doesn't matter if it is different from person to person. It is difficult to comment. What the individual doesn't like is the breakfast mode provided by the hotel. The buffet style on the table is only a small variety of bread, butter, cheese, sliced meat, a little fruit, a little juice and so on. Any omelet or egg, or sausage, or hot vegetables, must be ordered in a variety of language menus provided by a single door. Although the speed of serving after ordering is OK, the taste is average and even disappointing. The taste of the drink is average. The overall feeling of the hotel's breakfast quality is not worth the price it sells. In particular, if you are accustomed to eating a self-service rich breakfast, you may not be able to adapt to this breakfast mode.
The location of the hotel is very good, with a subway/tram station next to it, and convenient transportation.
There are many shopping shops nearby, and it is not far from the Haak Market. It is very convenient to eat, drink and play.
The room is large, there is a hidden induction cooker, and there are kitchen utensils in the cabinet, which is very suitable for friends who want to cook for themselves.
I really like the washing and care products in the room. The soap is black, which is very special.
The location is very good, in the heart of Berlin, it is very convenient to go, especially to a few attractions. The entrance is the subway, bus. There is also a supermarket diagonally opposite the hotel, which is very convenient to buy. The hotel has a sofa bed that is suitable for families.
We always tend to stay here when in Berlin as the location is perfect for the gay area. Hotel staff are very friendly & accommodating. Room was warm & comfy but some of the furnishings are looking a little outdated now. Cleaner didn’t automatically come every day which was disappointing - no doubt another ridiculous Covid19 rule. The fridges with minibar seem to have been removed from the room which is a little annoying - shall we blame covid19 for that too?! The hotel also expects you to wear face masks which is a bit unnecessary as you can walk round any bar, restaurant, or shopping centre now without the need for a mask. I don’t blame the staff In the hotel for this rule but the company needs to get a grip & realise that most travellers are fully vaccinated now. How else could we have got to Germany in the first place? Having said that, we would stay here again as overall the facilities & location are good.
The twin room of this hotel is equipped with three beds. This situation is rare in China and is more suitable for family and children. The second is that the area that needs improvement is a pot that does not have hot water. But the front desk helped me burn a cup, thank you!
I have seen many hotels in Berlin and this one is by far the cleanest/most hygenic one! Especially now during Corona times, they literally send their cleaning team to sanitize door handles etc. every hour and they have a full no-contact check-in and check-out system that works by a telephone service that is always there for you. The cozy rooms and excellent location at Rosethaler Platz makes the stay just perfect. A secret tip: ask for one of their ”signature rooms”, created by local Berlin artists (no additional costs charged). Definitely a recommendation for everyone!
This hotel can be said to be the best hotel I have ever stayed in. This is wrong. It is this youth hostel. It is the entire one-barrel building. It is much better than the light bar in Shanghai, and the price is not expensive, only RMB 100 For RMB a night, the baths and everything are very clean, and it is very close to Alexanderplatz, it is very convenient to go out and play, I lived in a mixed room with 8 people, and I met French beauties.
The hotel is located on the luxury street of Berlin. There are various big-name and traditional German brands, as well as general department stores such as Kadiwei, and also direct stores of Apple and Tesla. Shopping is very good. Go to Charlotten. The Fort Palace is also very close, but the facilities are a bit old.
Stayed in a Junior Suite. Room was large and extremely clean. Two large doors to let lots of air in. Only thing that disappointed me was it says its a room with a balcony however there is no actual outside space, the doors open and there is a bar directly at the doors and only one chair in the room so no way for us both to sit there. Bed was so comfortable and great pillows! The blue nightlight option was beautiful. Bathroom was fab! Shower was amazing, didn't want to get out!! Floor in the bathroom is heated. Wi-fi is decent but keeps signing you out so don't lose the piece of paper with your codes on it. Cleaners were fantastic, changed our towels & bed daily and fresh glasses & cups. Ate one night in the restaurant on the rooftop and the food was beautiful. Then sat on the rooftop lounge outside with a drink and the view and lights were beautiful. Location is great... Two underground stations both within a 2 minute walk. I would recommend to get a welcome card if travelling a lot as it covers underground, trains and busses. We would have spent 3 times the amount we paid for the 4 day card and also covers from airport if you buy zones a,b&c Staff were very friendly throughout our stay. Would have given 5 stars if I had of known in advance there was no actual balcony but was one of the main reasons I booked as my partner doesn't drink and our plan was to sit out there at night where I could enjoy a few glasses and he doesn't have to be in a bar. But overall had a lovely stay. My pictures don't do the room justice but just to give an idea.
The location of this hotel is good. There are two Chinese restaurants nearby. Go right and turn left. The first owner of the restaurant called Green Restaurant is more enthusiastic. The front one seems to be Cantonese. KADEWE Shopping The mall is about 10 minutes walk away; it needs to be emphasized: the hotel room is small, Wifi can only connect one device at a time, the speed is normal, the room just entered the moldy smell, originally wanted to change the room, the next day tastes slightly Better; convenient transportation, a few hundred meters in the vicinity is U BUS station or 100/200 station; next time it is estimated that this hotel will not live, because of the taste of the room, wifi, and cost. If there is no special requirement for taste and WiFi, this location hotel is worth considering.
Great traditional European hotel Hygienic negligence Improved with complaints and apologize promptly to remedy. Unique geographical location, historical heritage, is the legendary name of the hotel industry, the only.
If you spend the night in this city, it's a great hotel. The location is very good, the surroundings are very quiet, and there are very good restaurants nearby. If you had stayed here, you would not have chosen another hotel.
Good location, small rooms but basic facilities and clean. It is convenient to travel, there are many attractions around, and the airport is about 26 Euros. The room booked did not include breakfast, but there was a buffet on the first floor, 12 euros for one person. To experience the local breakfast in Berlin, we chose to go out and have breakfast in the bakery. The hotel helps to make a reservation for a taxi and needs to pay for the service. The actual taxi at the entrance of the hotel is not difficult to call. When leaving the hotel, it is a black taxi. It feels like being bypassed.
A great hotel in a central location. The breakfast was great, although the atmosphere was pretty noisy taking into account the huge number of people staying at the hotel. The only disadvantage is that for parking I was not able simply to drive into the parking garage, although it says that no prior reservation is needed, so I suppose I had to call the hotel in advance and tell them I'm coming with a car. So I would advise Ctrip to update this part of the information. Nevertheless, if you want to pay 10€ instead of the 22€ a day for parking in the hotel's parking garage, you can consider the parking area at Gleisdreieck, which is around 5 minutes on foot from the hotel.
A beautiful hotel set on the southern edge of the Tiergarten in a quiet neighbourhood backing onto Berlin zoo - consequently, quite a lot of walking involved to take in the city (we hired the hotel bikes on 2 days). Lovely ambience and smell! Very stylish decor and art work Our suite was excellent if a little warm Service was generally very friendly and helpful Great bar service and nice breakfast The hotels restaurant was pretty good but we had better meals during our stay Nice pool area Ok gym The only reason the hotel isn’t getting 5* is there was a problem with my bill that took a week after check out to resolve which was annoying at the time I would go back though for sure
The service staff is very enthusiastic. Very clean. The hotel room is small but already prepared. The soundproofing is too bad, the movements in the hallway are clear and clear, and the walls of other rooms will be vibrated. I was scared at night. The mattress didn't seem to breathe, and it was very hot to sleep on, and didn't sleep well at night. Air conditioning is either too cold or too hot to master. I felt that the price was good before I checked in, but I really didn't rest well.
We spent 3 days at Gorki last week, slightly early Valentine’s trip. We love it as it’s just easy here, spacious apartment, clean, modern, great location and in one of the best cities in world! We cooked one day and ate out the rest of the time. With so many bars and restaurants within walking distance, you are spoilt for choice! Regarding the review below, not sure what that’s about, we’ve never had any issues, hence our third visit and not our last. Also, we just loaded the dishwasher ourself, we didn’t need the room attendant to do it! Love the personal service too, when we booked our visit, Constance messaged me the list of rooms to choose from, from the category we had booked. This was great as each apartment is different, no 2 are exactly the same. We are working our away across the different categories :) We asked for a late check out and were told it was €50, we declined that, but we were able to stay in the room until 1pm. We’ll be back in the summer, see you then!
The hotel close to city center and to railway station lies in a perfect location, offers valet service for parking! the personnel is extremely friendly, helpful and professionally working. I got a quiet room with zircon, which is necessary on hot days in German summer. Breakfast was fine!
This place is clearly a Five Star Plus Hotel, and for a comparably low price!
Before I comment the hotel, I would really like to mention the Receptionist Mo!! He was at the check in when I got there, and immediately saw his positive energy and vibe and at the same time professionalism, which is very important as it’s the first impression when you step in the hotel. He also speaks couple of foreign languages such as Russian, English, Italian, German... I am working as a GM of Korcula Hill Resort in Croatia, and I have to say that every hotel should have at least one Mo!!! Very smart and polite guy, and really hope he will be soon upgraded to a higher position in the company as I’m sure he’s capable of managing more complexed stuff, situations and business decisions. Amazing guy!! Also, another young receptionist Ane, I loved talking to her on Spanish and we laughed a lot during my stay. Very cool persona and her English, is just brilliant with nice accent! As A Moxy lover, I have to say that this Hotel, again, was very modern, cool, funky, colors and decoration everywhere, the Vespa at the entrance... Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the view not bad at all. Water pressure in the shower was perfect! Breakfast was good too. The location is great, only 300m to the S Bahn/U Bahn lines, very good connection with the city and Tegel Airport. I believe the Gym is great as well, it must be a stunning view at the area around the hotel... If you want a 5 star service and you don’t want to pay the fortune for it, book immediately this hotel!
We recently did a whirlwind tour of Europe and spent one night in Berlin. Chose this location because it was near Checkpoint Charlie and had hop on and off buses near by. We had never visited Berlin before and this turned out to be an ideal location and our room was the best. It had a balcony overlooking a courtyard. We paid to park in the garage and it was well worth the cost. The best part of the trip was breakfast. Initial we didn't book breakfast, but once we saw how awesome it was we paid for breakfast.
Great location, good breakfest. The only problem is that there was not any warm dish during breakfest (like scrumbling eggs or simplu sussages). The staff is very helpful and ther was no problem with check-in even when I came at 13.00. And the free late check out on Sunday (for loyality program members) is the great option after Saturday clubbing. I really recomand this hotel.
Overall, this hotel is still more suitable for business travel, because the location is closer to the Brandenburg Gate, originally chose this hotel, the hotel is very good, the service attitude is very friendly, especially for children. Free breakfast for the children, and the breakfast is very rich, there is a paid parking lot, and the Bodhi Tree Down Street is only over 100 meters. It is also very convenient to go to the Brandenburg Gate. Overall, the room is also very large, the bed is The king size bed is very convenient, with a child of seven or eight years old without any problems.
