This little Days Inn might get over-looked, or passed over in a search, but you’ll be sorry you did. The place and people are super gracious, and meet and exceed what most travelers need; a clean comfy bed and bathroom, not to hot or cold, nice hot tub and pool, a breakfast that’s worth getting up for (it’s early for us, 6-9am), close to stuff (Faro’s Family Restaurant, Buffalo Wild Wings, KFC, are all in a short walk across the parking lot, and a short hop to Hwy 23, I41, airport, Walmart, Menards.

Stayed one night while in town for a family event. The hotel is easily located right off the interstate. (With that brings a bit of road noise) Lots of restaurants close by. The hotel itself is older but has undergone some renovation. Our queen room was spacious enough for the two of us and included a fridge and coffee maker. Bed was comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean. Our stay included a limited breakfast, including fruit, yogurt, cereal, waffles, eggs and biscuits. Not a great breakfast, but for a budget hotel, not bad.

We travel extensively with our daughter being recruited for lacrosse. Most trips are good...this one was great! She and I drove five hours and stayed in constant contact with this property because we needed a late check in and requested to change rooms from our booking through the main reservation line...request granted. We showed up to a wonderful staff, beautiful, clean two queen bed room in a packed hotel! Wonderful, wide variety ..free breakfast If she decides on this college, this will be our home away from home! Highly recommend!

The room was decently sized and stayed a comfortable temperature, and the employees were very nice, but if we stayed for more than one night it would have not been tolerable. First, the rates were extremely high because they wanted to profit off the airshow in Oshkosh, so the room was twice the price as usual (about $380 compared to usual ~$190- which is honestly still a rip off ) and it was NOT worth that cost. Second, although the bed my partner and I slept in was ok (we slept well), the bed my mom and my little sister slept in kept them up every hour due to being uncomfortable and experiencing back pain (My mom actually resorted to sleeping on the hardwood floor because she felt it was comfier). Their bed also had green stains on the fitted sheet. Other issues included: - Only two rags were provided and one of them was badly stained. - Towels were scratchy and uncomfortable - The shower had weird knobs that looked broken (you could see behind the tub and they jutted out way far) - There was a hole in the wall underneath the AC unit - The deadbolt would not latch on the door - The whole room smelled like wet feet. - The vending machines wouldn't take coins, which isnt that big of a deal, but just annoying. I wouldn't recommend it unless youre getting a good deal, this hotel is worth maybe $70 per night AT MOST.

We were in town for Saturday and had to stay over Sunday night as well due to weather conditions. The room was perfect, clean, efficient, and hotel staff couldn't have been more accommodating to us. We were given information on the area and the staff and owner respectful, willing and able to answer any of our questions. Although they are currently undergoing renovations, we did not experience any inconvenience and the hot tub was a welcome bonus for us in the cold weather. The bed was extremely comfortable. There was plenty of variety at the breakfast bar. The price was very reasonable and we expect to stay there again when we come through that way. Thank you for the great experience.

I wanted to experience two historic hotels designed and built by the same people but renovated by different people. Both the Retlaw and Hotel Northland in Green Bay have been redone within the last four years. Hotel Retlaw looks nice on the surface. The lobby is gorgeous. The rooms are not well planned and finishes are cheap. The pool and fitness center are both not completed although the hotel has been open for over a year. Please see pros and cons below. Pros: It was renovated rather than torn down. The lobby is gorgeous and the food at the restaurant is well above average for the area. The service from the front desk was pleasant and efficient. The television that rises out of the footboard and swivels is nice. Picture is clear and channel selections are plentiful. Wi-fi is strong. Cons: Carpet was cheap, stained and not well vacuumed. The toilet is small, the seat didn't fit well and consequently did not stay up. The towels are squeezed in between the vanity and wall. The door design is terrible. The room entry, closet and bathroom doors all open into each other. The fitness center had no televisions. The pool has not been renovated and is not open. My overall assessment and advice is to experience the lobby and dine in the restaurant but stay somewhere else for now. Hotel Northland is of much higher quality. Please see separate review.

Our second consecutive year of staying here for Packer Football game. Pretty much same as last year.. we once again had the Presidential Suite .. two rooms with kitchen and jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. The room is starting to show some age .. needs a bit of touching up ..paint, trime etc and the couch is in need of replacement, but overall a nice room that a family of four can enjoy. Same as last year, the first day of breakfast was below average . aside from the scrambled eggs and waffles it was not good .. undercooked sausage links and thawed / not fresh pastries. Second day breakfast was awesome. Best ever cheese omelettes, sausage patties and fresh pastries. They did indeed redeem themselves with this breakfast offering. Beds comfortable and great reception on tv. If they could just be more consistent on breakfast I would have reated higher. Yes, I do value the breakfast in my review .. this is one of the reasons I choose this location over the nearby Radisson.

We stayed here whilst attending the EAA AirVenture at Oshkosh and the rates were very high for an HI Express. However, apart from the extremely crappy view over a roof, I found it hard to find fault with the property. We were afforded an early check in due to an IHG status which meant we could take an afternoon nap. The room was spacious with a sparkling white bathroom (shower only). I agree with another reviewer in that the rooms need a piece of art. They are rather sterile.I scored a reasonably comfortable sofa bed which I had to make up myself (linen provided). During the week I used a their laundry which was a handy facility. The breakfast was really decent considering it was complimentary. You will need transport if you stay here as there is only one restaurant within walking distance. Good, but expensive for a HI Express that time of year.

The Swiss Hotel Chicago was booked mainly for the marathon, and this time it was the right choice. I have to say that it is true that Ctrip is free to go abroad and it is really easy to use. I bought air tickets, booked accommodation, and Ctrip made it all. In the United States for so many days, I stayed at the Swiss Hotel in Chicago for the longest time. The Chicago River was just a few steps away, and I took a few steps to the shore of Lake Michigan. It was a runner's paradise. A large number of cruise ships parked in the port. Swim in turquoise lakes in a team. In the distance are the planetarium and the Field Museum, if you don't hurry, you can walk over to visit. The world is beautiful and beautiful.

Very old hotel, the elevator is very small, the corridor is very narrow, the room facilities are very old, the only advantage is that the location is not bad. The most disappointing thing is that the service of the hotel wants to say that the room service service slippers are good, but in the room, etc. After more than an hour, I didn't send it again. I asked if I didn't have slippers. I don't know if I have a slipper. I still have to call back to ask what the hotel is really lucky. I only stayed for two nights and cleaned the next morning. The aunt came to knock on the door at nine o'clock, and it was all right. Finally, the hotel room card will be back in the morning and the hotel will not be able to brush up and go to the lobby to re-brush the hotel! If you don't have a cheap map, don't live. Just blame us for the price increase of the Chicago hotel when we go. This broken hotel has to be 2000 nights.

When I booked the hotel, I found it very good to have breakfast. I did n’t know that the dinner was served free of charge until the end of 19 o’clock. Every day there are changes. Sometimes pasta and sometimes pizza. There are take-away tableware for returning to the room. The kitchen in the room only uses a microwave, but in fact the kitchen is very full. You can cook with just a few spices. The hot coffee in the lobby is available 24 hours, and sometimes there are small dishes in the evening. Dim sum, many foreigners live here with their children. It is very cheap around 550 after New Year's Day, very good value,

I went to live on Thanksgiving last year. Living in a high place overlooking the city of Chicago, the hotel rooms are large, the supplies are very high, and the facilities are complete. Breakfast is an American breakfast, and it is necessary to order a place to eat according to the menu. Hotel location is very good, in the city center, very close to Michigan Avenue, behind is also a place to shop, there are many shoe stores, relatively speaking, this location is relatively safe. And it is opposite the Trump Building, hahaha, the night view is still very good. Travel, the most important thing is to be safe. The deposit is $100, the front desk is relatively small, and there is no hotel in China at this price. The service is generally the same. Because the toilet drains in the room leaked on the first day, we called them to come and repair them. As a result, when they came, we were all The bathroom was blowing and blowing, they slammed the door. We were anxious to ask them to wait for a minute. When you enter any establishment being greeted with a smile sets the tone for everything. I was greeted with a hostile guest which rubbed off on the staff members and in turn made my checkin uncomfortable. Then the staff members told us Pool was on 8th floor, my children get in their suits go to the pool to find it was not even filled or in service. We rented premium rooms with snacks and drinks got in to our room and found no drinks or snacks. The valet man in the evening was far from friendly. I also did not like how they would park my vehicle with hazards on and left unlocked on the street. Crime rate in Chicago is always high it would be a good suggestion to lock the vehicles rather than leaving them unattended and unlocked. Our room smelled like marijuana and yes I get it’s legal in the state however can you not circulate some fresh air into the ventilation system? The view was amazing but I was less than impressed with this stay.

The location is very good, and it is very convenient to go out. It is in the city center, separated by a road from Michigan Avenue and close to the Chicago River. I arrived in the evening, and I went in by the side door of the parking lot. I found the main entrance and the lobby the next morning. The appearance is still beautiful and the facilities are good. But Ctrip booked a room in the West Building, which was very old, and many places didn't look clean. So I still have to adhere to my usual principle to live in a new hotel, otherwise I am afraid that I will encounter similar problems. The stains over time look very uncomfortable. Nearby are Macy's, Target, and a variety of restaurants, convenience stores and fast food restaurants that can be reached in just 10 minutes. Chicago's main attractions are also in sight, such as the Willis Tower, which is only two blocks away, along the riverside trails, watching the iron bridges and cross-strait buildings on the Chicago River, and unwittingly reaching Cloud Gate and Navy Pier. I wanted to write this review because I actually did like this hotel, however I did have experiences that I did not like. I decided to stay at this hotel because I had a surgery in Chicago and wanted to stay in a nice place with a nice view so that I could feel comfortable in my recovery. The view in my room was a corner city view and I truly loved it. It was exactly what I was looking for. Maya checks me and my friend in and she was extremely nice and helpful. I had called the hotel ahead of time to make sure that my room was clean upon arrival as I read a few bad reviews on cleanliness and wanted my room clean as I was going to recover in the room. As nice as Maya was the rest of the staff where not as friendly but they were not rude either, except for someone I called from my room to see if my grubhub had arrived, he rudely answered I dont know. I did not know how the process was and maybe he could have just explained it. The room was clean, the bed was sooo comfortable, the view was amazing. I won’t judge the place on room service and amenities because I understand during covid most services were not being held, however if I needed an extra towel or something I would call room service and they would bring it right up. The hotel is close to super markets, target, gas stations and Starbucks which was awesome. Now for the bad part, there were a bunch of people always hanging out by the entrance and i felt no privacy when I was checking in. People were allowed to wait on the reception area weather they were staying at the hotel or not. This made me feel unsafe as every time I left and returned to my hotel room a group of people would be there to see. I read a horrible review about a death on the parking lot a block over before my stay and so many people at the doorway had me a lil scared. Too many parties happened at the hotel for new year, crowded elevators with people that had no masks on. My room had an extreme cigarette smell that I had to go buy a febreeze because the smell was so overwhelming and I was staying at a non smoking room. The rugs and curtains smelled like ashes but the longer i stood in the room and sprayed fabreeze everything slowly but surely started smelling better. I loved the room and the hotel but I don’t think I would stay there again due to the crowd at the entrance. I am not sure how much of this the hotel can control but it still not a pleasant experience.
