We were now for the second time at the Hotel Schütt. And again we felt very well. You feel the family business entirely. All do with, everyone has his task. Despite the high hotel facilities, the young chef always has time for a nice conversation. In the room you feel very well, that is important for us just after a long walk. Beautifully furnished with a very nice bathroom. I also like the drink self-service on a dishes basis very well ( Each guest performs a list of consumed drinks that is out, and is paid at the end at check out. There is a very rich, Buffet equipped with bio products from the region ( sauce/cheese/marmelade ...) . There is nothing missing. We will come back in any case!

The friendly and competent service at the reception. All tips and tips are best provided here. You feel well lifted here until you enter the room. Since the hotel has been re-looking by several investors, this is also noticeable in the hotel and in the hotel. Investments in the rooms that would be urgently needed will not be made. To recommend a breakfast visit in one of the many cafes in Monschau. Where the price performance ratio is absolutely consistent. You can say a hotel visit without breakfast for one to two days is still in order.

The hotel has its own parking spaces, so we booked it. Come there is a small adventure. But it's going. Point 14:00 we were there, but only 14.15 someone came from the reception. We paid the parking space and got the room card. We had booked a superior room. The room was in the first floor (without lift) almost directly above the entrance. The room was very large and bright. TV, refrigerator table and very good beds. The bathroom is a disaster. So small, you can hardly get to the toilet. After the shower, the door must be open because you have no space to dry inside. The hotel is super just a short way down to the marketplace. In the night it was very quiet, true maybe also due to the extremely cold and bad weather. Oh yes, the room was quite cold, but hardly the heating was turned up, it was. The price is certainly very low and we usually book a higher category. That's why we didn't expect so much from the hotel. But it was perfectly okay for one night. Breakfast we enjoyed in the village.

One of the oldest buildings in this beautiful town. Fine panelling. Our room was very good value and comfortable with views. Sensible shower. Parking is a problem everywhere so arrive early. The owners had made exceptional efforts to make the dining room charming. A good breakfast. I had booked the wrong date but the owner solved the problem. I would definitely stay again. A camera is a must for the town.
