|3.44km from city centerA no fuss hotel with good amenities, and great location. The guestroom was spotless, the bed comfort good, and service from the staff outstanding. Within close walking distance to several food venues. A soft spot to spend a couple of hours watching the local trade was a great bar 2 minutes up the road, 'Tropical Cachare'. Alex the waiter right on the ball. Would stay here again without hesitation.

|2.07km from city centerI stayed here for three nights after a business trip to Rio and São Paulo. I was given initially an inside room but when I asked for one with an outside window as quickly given one. The room was clean but small. For two people with handbagage only it is okay but not if both have suitcases. There was a small table and two chairs but this does not offer space to relax at night. The WiFi worked well even for parts of the terrace. The location is good. It is near the busstation from which busses depart to the falls and Argentina. There are numerous places to eat nearby. A breakfast buffet is included in the price. It is not like those of business hotels I’ve stayed in e.g. does not have natural yoghurt or nice cereals and far too many cakes for my continental European liking but there was a lot of choice and good coffee. Front desk staff spoke English and were very friendly. Note that there are no cAsh machines nearby - the nearest is in super muffato and this one didn’t seem to like foreign cards.

Foz do Iguacu
|2.5km from city centerUpon arriving at the hotel at 11 am after a full night of travel, I was asked to stay and wait until 2 pm or until a room opened up. I then requested an upgrade, hoping a higher level room would open up sooner. As a Wyndham Diamond member, not only did they not recognize my status or any membership with them at all, they also tried to charge me for the upgrade and did not allow any early check-in. It was only after mentioning that I was Diamond and showing them on the app that Diamond members can get free upgrades that they allowed me to be upgraded and check-in early. While I'm happy with the result, I've never had any other hotel neglect to acknowledge my status, especially if it's that respective brand's top-tier status. I've also never had to remind the hotel itself of their own membership benefits policy. To me, it seems almost embarrassing that they did not know how to treat their Diamond members. Other Wyndhams I've stayed at were happy to upgrade me, oftentimes without me even requesting it. For the stay itself, the suite was nice and very large. Two queen beds with a small seating area. TV was positioned a bit oddly, but still watchable. I liked that they had a microwave, kettle, and fridge, but the fridge was stocked full of drinks that they laughably did not know or have the prices for. There was also a vent in the room that was making odd noises and allowing warm air inside. The room did have a nice view, though, and the location was not bad. Finally, breakfast was actually quite good, with decent variety and hot food options. Check-out was a breeze and very quick, thanks to me not consuming any minibar drinks.

Foz do Iguacu
|5.5km from city centerI'm a doctor and spent a weekend at the Resort with my family. During usual times, my evaluation would be excellent, however I was strongly disappointed and would not recommend this resort as good for minimum Covid-19 precautions, during breakfast (when people are more vulnerable, as they need to remove their masks). I would like to make it very clear that the employees were doing the best job possible and acting as directed, but I noticed an obvious lack of a management plan for meal time, training for employees and instructions for the guests. Breakfast took place in only one of the two restaurants available, the tables were not spaced properly (or at least not obviously signposted for guests), people sat less than 1m apart (as in a normal period), it would be a pleasant mess, if was pre-Covid era. I would expect international standards, with respect to WHO rules, but I found quality inferior to that of local contingency plan. I have no doubt that the hotel has trained staff to draw up a good plan and honestly I hope that profit does not prevail over people's health and care, specially at this challenging times.

|2.05km from city centerMy partner and I came from Australia, I speak Spanish he only speaks English. I would like to point out the at half of the staff were will with runny noses, coughs, etc while working! I understand that it’s a Covid world however my partner ended up with a cold (we tested for Covid he was negative) missing out on the last day of our trip by staying in bed. What needs to be understood when you work in travel is that if one of the workers were to transmit Covid or anything else it can literally stop people from returning home…. I am begging this hotel to please reconsider their coming into work while sick policy. The housekeeper was sick the man at the front desk when we checked in was sick the girl at the front desk was sick (at least she wore a mask) and unfortunately due to travel restrictions it’s not acceptable to coke to work while ill. The hotel is very centrally located, it’s very easy and cheap to get to all of the major attractions on both the Brazilian and Argentinian side. Please note: if you want to go to the Argentinian side of the falls From this hotel they have a service costing around 100 Reis that brings you leaving once per day at 7:30 am (we did not know that and spent 350 reis to go and spent most of the morning trying to figure out how to get there, luckily we had augusto who is absolutely fantastic!) Pro: 1. The staff was absolutely lovely! Augusto at reception so amazing! He never made us feel like anything was a problem and he was happy to communicate in English. Julia from the tourism agency in the reception area was absolutely amazing spoke English and really a helped ! Cleaning and breakfast staff were super friendly! But Augusto and Julia are huge assets to this hotel and helped us tremendously during our stay! 2. Decent quality for what you pay 3. Location is good 4. Decent breakfast 5. Rooms are clean! Cons: 1. I am pretty easy going and have travelled a lot. I booked a superior room the first room they tried to give us was super tiny only fit the bed, had a funny smell and looked like a dorm room and we had a friendly big guest… I went to reception he was lovely (sick) but lovely and changed our room to a beautiful upgraded room right outside the elevator.. I’m a light sleeper and on my booking asked that I would not be placed near any common ways elevators stairs common rooms etc.. he assured me it wouldn’t be noisy… it was super loud. The next morning we met Augusto and he showed us 4 different rooms to choose from to move again and it was so nice of him! 2. This hotel is absolutely not soundproofed in the least. The rooms say soundproofing you can literally hear when someone upstairs moves a chair, hear people talking at all hours in the corridors, cleaners talking outside the room 7:30/8am and hear people taking a shower in their room. Not a huge issue for most but just so you know it’s not. 3. Breakfast was decent eggs are undercooked way too wet. 4. Water is like warm at best when you showe

|10.72km from city centerEverything about the hotel is wonderful, I went as a child and I want to go back more often. The service, cleanliness, tutors, location, everything was perfect. The hotel is located on the main route of Foz do Iguaçu, where transport is very easy. For children, there are several game rooms where parents don't have to worry about their children's safety. And for adults, there are bars everywhere. Attractions outside the hotel are spectacular, well worth a visit

Foz do Iguacu
|23.74km from city centerOur experience at the Belmond can only be described as magical. The hotel itself is beautiful, every member of staff were lovely, the cocktails at Bar Tarobá were incredible, and the pool was great - our whole stay could not have gone smoother. But, what makes this hotel so special is the access to the falls. Being inside the national park before and after it is open to the public is an unmissable experience - you only have to step foot outside of the lobby to be greeted with a beautiful view. We decided to walk the trail at sunset after it had closed to the public, and we were the only people there. During the day, as you can imagine, it can be packed, so being able to experience it privately was so unique - plus, it gave us the most amazing photo opportunities! As we were walking the trail we thought to ourselves ‘this in itself is an experience we’re sure some people would pay more than the price of the hotel for!’. It was an unforgettable evening to cherish forever. The hotel concierge was excellent, arranging wonderful experiences for us - including a boat trip (which they supply towels and ponchos for). After staying here on the Brazilian side, we stayed on the Argentinian side for two nights, but, if I were to go back and repeat this trip, I would definitely only stay at the Belmond and just do a day trip to the Argentinian side with the help of the concierge. The breakfast and lunch buffets at Ipê Restaurant were delicious, but our meal at Itaipu was stand out - by far the best meal we had in Brazil. Being so full after starter and main course but could not resist a dessert - you have to have dinner here! Having visited a number of other wonderful Belmond properties, it is without a doubt that this one is a favourite and would absolutely love to return. There is no question about it, you simply must stay here when visiting the falls - you will regret it if you don’t! And finally, this Belmond is absolutely incredible. Five stars is simply not enough. It is a seven star hotel.

Foz do Iguacu
|2.22km from city centerIt was just one night, but it did not live up to expectations. Excellent breakfast and very good service. Very friendly and helpful staff and manager.
The only problem is that at check-in (around 15:00), I promised to put a bathtub and a baby cot in the room for my 2.5-year-old son, and when returning at night, the items will not be in the room inside.
We couldn't wait to solve the problem, because we wanted to enjoy an Italian night in the restaurant, so my son finally took a bath with the help of his parents.
When I came back from dinner, I complained at the reception, saying that they either put the crib at that moment or let the child sleep in the bed. Although the waiter argued that it was difficult to get the crib at the time (around 11:30 in the evening), they rang the bell in my room about half an hour later and handed me a crib.
The elevator is very old, and each floor is open for a short time. Similarly, for a while I stopped on the first floor under the floor, which tripped me. The front desk clerk said that this happens sometimes and is enough to take the elevator to the top floor and return it to the ground floor where it can be adjusted, thus minimizing and minimizing the problem.
The atmosphere of the hotel is familiar. The swimming pool is beautiful, but there is no time to enjoy it.

|2.95km from city centerThe hotel is not new, but the location is very convenient, there is a taxi site opposite, it is convenient to go anywhere, and it is all playing the table, very conscience, around eating places, small supermarkets; The room was cleaned very clean, it was rare in South America, and the bed in the standard room was larger than the domestic one. It was comfortable to sleep. The only thing was that the sound insulation was not very good. Someone in the corridor could hear it. Fortunately, I was used to bringing noise reduction earplugs, so the impact was not big. The service staff are also very skilled, and can reply in time if you need anything, Portuguese and Spanish can be, so overall it is quite satisfactory.

Foz do Iguacu
|9.7km from city centerThe hotel is perfectly located, around 10 minutes from the airport and about the same again to the entrance of Iguassu falls. Rooms were spacious and comfortable with huge beds but they were looking very tired and even battered in places and are in need of modernising. The balcony had no outdoor furniture which seemed strange. The main pool was freezing cold as were the smaller pools around the houses although I think this is the norm for Brazil? They were too cold for our kids to enjoy unfortunately. Our hot tub was also cold on arrival but a quick call to reception sorted this promptly. Reception staff were excellent, they were super helpful with any queries and helped us organise our excursions and spoke perfect English. Breakfast was excellent and evening dinner in the buffet was also good but it does get very busy in there at certain times. We didn’t use the other restaurants as we were on a half board package but the menus around the pool were good for lunch. Cocktails were also great and reasonably priced. There is a brilliant entertainment programme on throughout the day with various activities, including the high ropes course which was completely free of charge! We also enjoyed the games room in the kids club. The general feel of the whole resort felt like it was missing something and needs a lot of money investing into it. We were only there for 3 nights which felt like the perfect duration for what we had planned. The resort has the potential to be something really special but at the moment it is far from a luxury resort but a good base for visiting Iguassu Falls.

Foz do Iguacu
|2.19km from city centerAfter travelling through the Amazon and Pantanal regions for three weeks, for two Canadians this hotel felt like stepping into a bit of luxury. A nice, hot spacious shower, air conditioning with a dehumidifier function to sop up the humidity out of our clothes, a full basket of toiletries that hotels no longer offer (a small comb and shoe shine packet!) and a comfy bed. We had a drink by the pool but didn't go in; but it was 3-tiered and looked nice from our table! The staff at the front desk were very accomodating, spoke with us in English, and answered all of our questions about the falls and the surrounding borders. When it was time to check out, the wifi was being upgraded so was temporarily down. The gentleman at the front desk kindly offered for us to jump on his hotspot to call an Uber. Some of the less positive comments here aren't necessarily untrue; but context is important. Compared apples to apples against many other accomodations in Brazil, the Foz Plaza is clean, reliable, and a pleasant place to stay for the price point.

|8.74km from city centerThe advantage of the hotel is in the middle of the airport and the city, you can call the taxi at the front desk, and it is very convenient to go to the airport or Iguazu Falls. Because the city of Iguazu is not worth visiting. It is also convenient to call a car to the border of the Three Kingdoms. The hotel has a swimming pool and parking. The breakfast is plentiful, there are no restaurants around, and the hotel lunch and dinner buffet prices are close to the people. Good value for money.

|4.92km from city centerEasy access hotel. Functional staff very receptible and sought. Breakfast with basic: mesh eggs, bread, cookies, cereals, brunette and mosquito, coffee, milk, juices, vitamins and fruit. Leap ✅, shower ✅, air conditioning ✅, takes ✅, Wi-Fi ✅, TV ✅ and fridge that is well ice ✅. Note: The channels were not working, we warned the receptionist and the problem was resolved soon!!!!! The shower is very good, the bathroom has a wrist and towels and a dryer, it only lacked the wrist to put the face. Ah and if you look at when it is used, because on the last day of the hosting I found a pereca there rs. (I believe it's because of the trees and pools of the hotel) A suggestion for the hotel: leave a SBP poison in the room because of the pernilongs. One suggestion for the next guest: We went on the day 26/02/22 and due to the pandemic the restaurant, the thematic bar, the pool bar and the wet bar, jacuzzi, sauna and spa service were not working. So it's good to call before making the reservation to not frustrate.

|6.22km from city centerMy one-night stay was marred by the worst sound proofing I’ve ever encountered in a hotel. We were in a connecting room, and could hear every noise from next door as if it was in our room. Noise from the corridor was also bad. For what seems to be a new build hotel there were quite a few defects: the sound proofing, the bathroom door wouldn’t close properly, there were gaps in the main and connecting door frames letting light in. It’s clearly not the fault of the staff or management but it smacked of poor quality build (as did other signs of damage to the fabric of the building such as cracks in the exterior wall) and did impact our stay. That said, it’s a really nice hotel in many ways. There were so many positives about my stay: great service from staff, really good breakfast, excellent outdoor swimming pools. If it wasn’t for the noise and light issues I’d have given it five stars.
