Stayed at this hotel to run the CIM. It is conveniently located to get to the start, but otherwise is not a good place to stay. I would call checking out from this hotel after the race the event which takes CIM into "ultra marathon" territory. The night before the race there was a wedding. I know this despite being on the 4th floor because I could hear the music and dancing as if it was in the room until ~1am. In any case I got up for the race at 4:30am to catch the bus and left my wife with our 2 year old instead of having her drop me off at the shuttle so she could get some actual sleep before meeting me at the finish. My 2 year old wakes up at 6, but my wife was concerned about the noise he might make disturbing the other guests since we had found out about the paper thin walls the night before. I finished the race, then headed straight back to the hotel. I called ahead and let them know we were going to be there just after the 2pm checkout, to which the front desk attendant replied that would be fine. I got to the room and packed our things, not wanting to hold the room any longer with the "convenience" of taking a shower. We were out at 2:37pm (I know this because it was noted in my additional bill!) Up to this point, I wouldn't have felt compelled to leave a review positive or negative, I had a room, I got to the start, and I ran the race. It wasn't an awesome experience and I wouldn't have recommended it, but I wasn't so upset that I would warn others away since that's just not what I do. After we left, however, Lake Natoma Inn had to get one more jab in. I got my receipt by mail showing that we had been charged for the night, then a few minutes later, received a second receipt where I was charged for an additional night with initials from the person who is apparently the lead manager (only initialed as "JR" on the receipt). I called the hotel to explain that I had explicitly called the front desk to check that we would be OK, I was again received politely by a receptionist who was not a manager and could not remove the charge, but indicated the new manager had been overly strict and this would surely be removed since it has been common practice to let marathoners have extra time. I called back the next time the manager was in and he assured me this charge would not be removed, politely explained to me that I should have run the marathon faster to meet the checkout time, and politely greeted me away. When I asked who his boss was he explained to me that he was the boss and answered to no one. JR explained I should happily accept the charge as the >50yr old gentleman in the room across from me who also ran the CIM did since I had asked what happened there. I watched that gentleman check out, profusely thanking the front desk attendant for accommodating him. I get the feeling he received the same treatment as I did, OK'd by the front desk only to be double charged by the manager. If JR has a boss, and that person happens to see

The rooms are super nice, but the price is also expensive. The hotel is in a great location in Folsom, next to Folsom outlets, which is very convenient for shopping. The hotel is small, quiet and relaxing, well-equipped, and there are almost no noisy tourists

Our stay was for one night. We were warmly greeted by Tabitha at the front desk and check-in went smoothly. She was kind enough to connect my family’s separate bookings and get us connecting rooms. The rooms were well appointed and offer a coffeemaker. I didn’t notice a safe box however. Shower water pressure was on point and shampoo and conditioner offered below the shower head. A nice touch to save on mini-plastic bottles. Complimentary breakfast in the main lobby opposite the front desk, offers both warm and cold options. The mini-cheese omelettes and pork sausage patties were yummy. They also had scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, and turkey sausage patties. Fresh cut fruit included watermelon, honey dew, and cantaloupe, in addition to apples, oranges and bananas. There was an assortment of bread including English muffins and bagels with cream cheese. Other items included juice, milk, yogurt, oatmeal, and a waffle maker with maple syrup. Complimentary parking is available. You’ll receive a parking slip to display on your dashboard. A swimming pool and free wifi are also on the premises. Overall a quick, but very pleasant stay. The staff were super friendly, from the front desk to the housekeepers, and the breakfast attendant.

I stay at this hotel once a month while in Folsom on business. You know what to expect with Courtyard's but the staff here are all incredible and they make this place really great. From the housekeeping staff to the wait staff at the grill to the front desk, all are super friendly and go out of their way to say hi or assist with any need. The grill options have expanded too as has the quality and I really appreciate that Courtyard is nearly a full service hotel and the value is excellent. Also the location is excellent - walking distance to several restaurants and chain stores like whole foods, ulta & fast food options as well. The only current downside is that It's in the process of being renovated and the rooms and fitness center are not done so the rooms are a bit outdated but the beds are great Marriott beds and always pretty comfortable. . Looking forward to seeing all of the renovation work finally being completed. I've tried several other hotels in the Folsom area and I always come back here.

I prefer Marriotts whenever their pricing is competitive. This place was one of two offering a special rate for a wedding i was attending .that is the reason I chose it. My room was on third floor as requested but there was no clock radio in the roo, the phone wire was not connected , the device to drain sink was not connected. All were remedied promptly when i notified the front desk...but the room should have had all that in order before i checked in. there was also a broken window pane. never experience any of that in any Marriott i have stayed at. I won't hold it against the chain Minor inconveniences ..but inconveniences.Other than that a really nice place. outdoor sitting area, near I 80, near restaurant. water coffee cookies available (sometimes not)

The staff makes you feel like you're at a 5 Starr Ritz Carlton. Very clean inside and out. The beds are the best I've slept on in any hotel. The General Manager is very professional and even answered questions I had before I asked. Super nice man. I felt like I was a VIP the whole time we were there. Parking had easy access to side door. The person that checked us in was super nice and very informative. The housecleaning staff were friendly and asked if we needed anything? I will recommend this hotel to all my business partners when they stay in the Sacramento area. I never give feed-back because I'm so busy and rarely impressed with service of most hotels. But This Residence in in Folsom deserves it! Thanks to whomever is in charge over there for making my stay a wonderful experience.

So for the price I didn't really care for this place. Right when I arrived at the counter with my mom the lady was rude and didn't make us feel welcome. I asked what the deposit was she told me and when I wentvto grab a few snack from the snack area she made a comment that was insinuating that I couldn't afford them...yes they were way over priced and expensive but that's not the piont. She profiled me.

Departing from Los Angeles, I took the old man to Lake Tahoe, taking into account the trip, not too tired, staying here for one night. The hotel is all on the way, the environment is very good, the bed is large, you can stay for four people. There are restaurants in a few minutes. The most important thing is that it is only the costco across the road. The food, vegetables and fruits that are in the Lake Tahoe on the second day can be purchased. I don’t know how to make a big watermelon from LA. .

Lucky to have found vacancy during labor day weekend. Only gripe was during initial check in, we arrived by 1pm and was told none of the rooms were available yet. They told us to come back in an hour. We were beginning to worry whether or not we needed to cancel our online reservation. Thankfully after couple hours, rooms were ready. Right when we walked into our room, we could smell strong alcohol odor which means room was thoroughly disinfected. There were clean signs everywhere. Our double queen room had fridge and microwave, central AC and it cools the room very good despite being 108F outside today. Sheets were clean, bathroom clean. Room so far is quiet, can't tell when people return to their rooms during the night though. Edit: towards late night around 10pm, can hear guests coming back home/checking in. Can hear footsteps of large person above. Can also hear faint shower faucet noise. Noises went away by midnight. Simple breakfast items available in lobby 6am-10am
