I like the location, very central! There are many shops, cafes and restaurants near the market. At the same time, there are many green spaces nearby: -park-esplanade. The hotel offers a delicious breakfast: a wide variety of food and beverages. There are two restaurants offering discounts for residents

This apart hotel is located in an old buildind and the stairway is shared by private people living in the building. Elevator was out of action, so walking to 4th floor was the only option - not a problem for us. We were greeted already in the hallway by the very friendly staff. Nobody spoke English, we spoke a bit of Russian, and the magic of Google Translate made our discussions even easier. Our room was tidy, spacious and had a kitchen, refridgerator and that kind of stuff. For a weekend trip with self-catering this would be excellent. Also made it possible for us to easily make food for our kid.

I had two rooms during my stay. The luxury is certainly worth the little extra. Overall though it had a dated feel, but this is small backwater town Russia so you can't expect it to be too cosmopolitan. Sound travelled well but thankfully conscientious guests whilst I stayed there. Food was good although the menu limited. Staff however were friendly, helpful and make you feel welcome and that makes up for an awful lot. I would stay there again, but the bigger rooms are a must.

Clean, very inexpensive place. Kitchen is clean and has everything. Coed toilets and showers are clean as well and adequate. The walls are super thin, so you hear people talk in the next room, but everyone goes to bed after 11 pm, so not a problem. Good location to explore the historic part of Vyborg.

Remembering my stay in this hotel always makes me smile. Once there, I entered the lobby and with my few words of Russian I spoke: My name is ... I have a reservation. There the lady behind the counter jumps up and shouts: HA! I have been waiting for YOU! Somewhat irritated and amused at the same time I was glad that the booking has worked. It would have been quite late to get something new. The woman, early / mid 50s, type slender sumo mum with black, sixties curls down to the shoulder, in business costume and kind face, talk to me like a waterfall. Everything is prepared, how the journey was, if I really came here in a car, forms, registration, breakfast times, no smoking or ironing in the room ... I was waiting patiently, obviously, from time to time in the wrong place said "yes" to what she says. Then she stopped. I asked for speaking a little slower and clearer. She nods, took a deep breath - and kept talking in double (!) volume and also much faster :) Obviously, she did not trusted my communication skills, put on her coat and then energic guided me around: Out to the car, she showed me, where to park. Then she took me by the hand and pulled me towards the stairs and up to the 2nd floor and showed me the room, pressed all light switches and waited for an appreciative nod on my part. As soon as this was over, we went on to the restaurant, where there will be breakfast and dinner. I had asked for money withdrawal and SIM card charging option - there was everything available in the building. And was shown to me, of course. When withdrawing money I was surprisingly left alone for a short time. After that I got a show, like the (antique) phone card-charging-automat is working. Very easy - if you have the money suitable. She grabbed my big bank note and I hurried after it ... But, all went well - and finallly it has been a really nice welcome in Russia. After days on the road with irregular, questionable food I went to the restaurant for a culinary welcome. Some Russian food, of course. Pelmeni would have been nice - unfortunately, they were already sold out for today... The room was ok and clean, as was the bath room. The room's window opened towards the hallway, not to the oputside, as usually expected. Breakfast was tasty. No buffet.

Stayed for New Year period, including Gala dinner in hotel restaurant. Very overage hotel, but for Pskov was decent enough. Tiny single room, tiny bed, just for 2-3 days staying. Sadly to say but window in my room were loosely sealed, so there were the holes though wich passed the air. Taking into account winter temperature there is no need to comment further. There is nothing to say more about the room. The good thing that on the every floor you can find water supply machine so there were not probs with fresh water. Gala dinner was unexpectedly awesome! We had a blast! Whole programm including food...there was nothing of culinary delights or sophisticated meal, simple set of standart meal but fresh, natural and delisious..decent size of portions. Bottle of Shampine or vodka.... Acting team worked admirably, providng us with a holiday cheer, nice impressions of the hotel in spite of little shades.

The hotel is nice and is right in the center, but the whole atmosphere is very provincial. Upside: there is a 24 hour bar, and everyone is helpful. Downsides: don't tell me your spa is open till 10 pm and then refuse to let me in at 8 because "they are cleaning there": so it is till 8 then, isn't it? Fix your lockers in the spa: no, they don't close with those silly bracelets. Half the showers in the spa don't work. Don't leave my windows wide open to let mosquitoes in after cleaning the room every day. We hunted the evil little things down till 1 AM every night after we woke up covered in bites the first day. Overall: great place to stay if you adjust your expectations. The city is a gorgeous little place to visit if you know it, or have family here, and this hotel is as good as it is going to get here. The service at the bar, restaurants and spa will be heartfelt but slow AF and a little backwards at times, which is what you should have expected when you decided to venture out here.

I spent one night at his hotel (room 304) and I really enjoyed my stay for the weekend. The room is very clean, spacious and modern. The employees at reception adn bar are really welcomig, kind and professional. They speak English very well. Breakfast was good, but could have been better. Food choice is good, however quality is average. Sparkling water and espresso you need to pay extra at lobby bar. Service could be improved at breakfast. Overall a very very nice hotel experience and I strongly suggest to stay here. Very good price/quality!

the rooms offer all the basics that you need as a traveler. Mind you there is no air conditioning, but I guess that most of the year you don't need it. There is a mosquito net in front of the window and the provide you with an electric mosquito repellent device. The doors are not sound proof. The touristic attractions are about 1 km from the hotel. There is a restaurant in the hotel but also one on the corner (Hurma) that is quiet good. Across the street (250 meters to your left) there is a pizzeria with good and cheap pizza but it is the interior is spartan.

Very good, the breakfast is good and the variety is richer. The night view of the room looking out is not bad.
