It's a hostel which perfectly partitioned so you get like a room of your own with a bed (choose either lower or upper deck) and a locker. There's no door in the room just curtains at the entrance and your bed. You can expect noises from inconsiderate guests and automatic door (my first room was near the entrance so I requested to move) Toiletries and PJs are free to grab at the bathrooms which are separate for men and women. All showers are private with a spacious dry area. Location is just opposite to Kumamoto JR and tram station. Very convenient to travel around. There's also a bar inside the hotel which welcomes non-guests. I think it's a bit unsafe as you don't need a key or anything to get into the cabin area.FromUS$24.00

JR out for 8 minutes, the hotel location is really close, there is no need to worry about big boxes, no need to climb the bridge. The hotel room is very new, the room equipment is very good, there are air purifiers, electric kettle, pajamas, the big bath downstairs is good. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, the double room is extra large and has 18 square meters, and the two boxes are open without problems. The only downside was that the room was on the east side of the second floor, and the corridor was open and cold. Breakfast at the hotel is relatively simple, and there is basically no food before 9 o'clock. There is a free coffee machine in the lobby. In summary, Ctrip has booked the hotel for another oolong. Our room was set two months in advance. As a result, the hotel said that we did not have our reservation number. We waited for more than half an hour in the lobby. Ctrip and the hotel confirmed it. I booked this hotel for one night because it was very close to the station. I was passing through Kumamoto a couple of days before my stay and the staff were able to look after my bag and even took it to the room on the day I arrived. The room was clean and comfortable with a view over the station tracks. If you need accommodation very close to the station I'd recommend this. It is also right on the tram route. Plenty of places to eat in the station. I didn't eat in the hotel so I can't comment on food choice. All the staff were very helpful and polite.FromUS$39.00

A family of three travels. After entering the number of people, it shows that the bookable room type is a three-bed room type. The hotel location is about 10 minutes walk from Kumamoto JR Station.
You can also take the free shuttle bus provided by the hotel. The shuttle bus is very Kumamoto-like, and the co-pilot is sitting in Kumamoto. The only bad thing is that the latest class is only open until 6pm.
There is a tram stop downstairs. Take the A line to get to the major attractions in the city (including JR stations). The Kyushu Hengdang bus also has a station under the hotel, which is convenient, but remember to book a ticket at least one day in advance. Otherwise, there may be situations where full members cannot get on the bus. Tickets cannot be booked that day, and luck can only be used.
The downside is that there are no particularly nearby convenience stores downstairs, and there are not many restaurants. It is recommended that you can buy a one-day ticket for the tram to facilitate dining and shopping.FromUS$45.00

I supposed Kumamoto isn’t quite a popular destination for one to stay over. I booked and stayed with this hotel for 3 nights and it was good. The price is reasonable and so is the size of the room. Enough for 2 to move around with cabin size luggage. The bed was surprisingly slightly bigger than expected. We got a queen size bed as compared to double size bed. The toilet was quite spacious too for Japanese standard. The room is clean and overall very satisfied. It is also walking distance to the bus terminal (about 5 mins or so. Btw the bus terminal is in sakuramachi mall so you can’t see it from the outside. It is located at the entrance level whilst bus ticket station is on level 2). Across the bus terminal there is 7E and Family Mart (further in compared to 7E). You can take the tram to Keitokuko-mae and cross the road, walk straight ahead and you’ll see the hotel. Less than 5 mins walk.

Hotel location is very good, convenient for eating and shopping. Next to the hotel is a pedestrian street. There is a home on the street that is 100 meters away. It is 400 meters from Kumamoto Castle and can be reached on foot. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the room is relatively large in Japan. The 30-inch trolley case is not particularly troublesome when opened. The bathroom is a bit small, sitting in the bathtub, the feet are over. There is no hand sanitizer. Washing hands can only be replaced by a bath soap. The hotel has a free breakfast. It is not necessary to include breakfast with your order.
