We reserved a comfort room, which looked nice on hotel website. However before arriving to hotel, I noticed that there's a rock band performing in the hotel during our stay, so we requested a quiet room. Stuff told they will move us to slightly smaller room with 10 EUR discount which sounded ok arrangement for us. When arriving to room, we found it quite equal with hostel room or like time travel to 1980s budget hotel. There was no Unikulma beds, which website informs, paper walls that you can clearly hear your neighbour activities, like using toilet. TV remote controller was broken (as they was no phone in the room, I had to run from 5th floor to reception to get new batteries and 2nd time as an issue was not with batteries), no shower curtain in bathroom. To get extra pillow, had to wait until 10 pm when night shift housekeeping shift started. Service in the bar was slow although it was pretty empty as bar was mainly managed by trainee. When taking a morning shower, found out that shower gel was run out. Breakfast was ok and breakfast room very nice. As room was prepaid and had no keys, just PIN code, I tried to call to reception to check-out. Got automatic answer, that reception is busy, my call is registered and they will call me back soon. Still haven't got the call.

The hotel is located downtown and close to a small shopping mall. There are some restaurants, pubs and other shops in a walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The check-in and check-out were very fast. I had a Superior Room with a King size bed. The room was on the road side but extremely quiet, I didn't listen any noise by night. The room was spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. The Led lights gave a modern looking. Inside the room there were a sofa, a desk, free and fast Wi-Fi, a kettle with coffee and tea facilities, a minibar, an iron and a safe. The bathroom was also modern and clean, everything you need was there. The breakfast buffet was excellent, there was a large choice of everything. Lots of fresh and local products, fresh orange juice, pastries, eggs,.... I really enjoyed it. I have stayed to the other hotels of Seinäjoki and for now, this breakfast was the best in town. They have a private parking place under the building which looked safe. It will cost you 14€ per night but I appreciated it in the morning when my car was already warm and I didn't have to remove the snow from it. I really enjoyed the night I spent in this hotel and next time I will stop at Seinäjoki I will stay again to this hotel and maybe have time to try their restaurant. If you search for this hotel on YouTube you will see the video I did and it will give you a better idea.

Unassuming building on the main shopping street, with friendly reception staff and a varied breakfast selection. My last-minute booking on the way to the nearby Ilmajoki opera festival meant that the room was possibly more than it would have normally been -- €170 seemed like rather a lot to pay just to sleep in the middle of nowhere (sorry, Seinajoki), but those are the breaks. The car park outside only charges from 9-6, so there was no fee for leaving the car there overnight.

This hotel is located right next to the railway station and the bus terminal. It consists of many buildings. The main building has a history extending back to 1909. The rustic Jugend-style house was originally designed to act as a meeting place for the railroad workers of the area. We stayed in the Tower Suite which is located on the top floor of the massive water tower, from which steam locomotives got their water from the 1920s to the 1960s. Tower Suite is a quite spacious suite with a sauna and a jacuzzi. The overall appearance was a little bit dark and shabby. The windows are quite small to give enough daylight for the dark brick walls. Maybe better-planned lightning would have made a difference. There is a new wing opening early next year between the tower and the main wing. Hopefully, all wings will be attached with interior access. Now, there was an outside walk to breakfast and the reception. We paid the normal price of 348 euros. It was a little too much what the suite offered.

Mediocre breakfast served, at least when compared to the Nordic standards. Old worn out building by a river. Would need a renewal soon. Price is high compared to what you get. Don't book directly from the hotel, as the prices there are most likely higher than in online services.
