One of the best stays. The service is amazing. The gym has the most amazing view of the Nile river. The staff is very attentive and make sure you have a luxurious stay. Our room had the Nile view and was on the 14th floor. The hotel gets busy in the evenings. The hotel has the best food and also it has a lot of food joints opposite the road which requires 20 EP.

The hotel is in a good location, right next to the Chinese Embassy. It is very convenient to go to various attractions. The doorway is a typical Egyptian street: the two sides are full of cars, leaving only one lane, taking a taxi to get off at a speed and not blocking a lot of cars. The only downside is that the hotel does not have breakfast.

There are more pros than cons about this little hotel. The location is fantastic and in the heart of Egypt’s finest neighborhood, Zamalek. Within a walking distance, you will find countless shops, restaurants, coffeeshops, supermarkets and pharmacies. Literally everything you will ever need. The hotel has some nice bars and restaurants. For a hotel this size, I was surprised they have some good options for a drink or a meal. The room is small but very clean and you wouldn’t need it much if you are planning to move around. Staff are generally very helpful and polite which is again something you might not find in 5-star hotels around Cairo. Now when it comes to the cons of this hotel. It will be the elevator which is very slow and tiny so if the hotel is busy, you will suffer a bit. Also, there’s no soundproofing system so you can hear everything happening next door but the managers were very supportive to control this. I will definitely be staying here again.

Traveling for half a month, this is the only room where I didn’t leave a tip when I checked out. After checking in, we went out to the museum immediately. When we came back to the room very late, we wanted to take a bath and relax. We found that there was a lot of hair in the bathtub, and then we found the room The carpet is also full of hair, white, golden, brown ~ and fingernails! ! ! ! ! ! ! I called the manager, took a look, and asked the floor attendant to clean it in front of us, but the manager disappeared without any explanation or explanation to us, and the cleaning is to wash away the hair in the bathroom with water and then dry it! ! ! ! ! ! I'm tired, I don't have time to wait~ I don't want to complain anymore, just rest for one night and go Everyone who wants to come, please choose by yourself!

This hotel was better than expected. We didnt stay at our usual hotel as the prices for Cairo currently are very high so this was the first time at this hotel. The location is really good - pharmacies, restaurants, kiosks and a Metro market all with 30 seconds walk of the hotel and of course Zamalek is really central so a good hub for Uber and getting around the city. Prior reviews are pretty bad but we found the hotel incredibly clean, the side nile view room we had was large, well appointed, the furniture was certainly not tired and we were pleased with the room from a comfort and business perspective. WIFI worked well, a desk in the room and settee and the bed was GREAT. They really dont have any facilities and there is no gym which is an issue for us but we knew this before booking but there are many gyms close by so dont let this be an issue - just GOOGLE! The breakfast by Egyptian standards was alright. The big plus is the omlette/egg station and they also do morning crepes. Fruit, hot food section, breads,, salads etc and frankly it does the job. Egyptians do breakfast really well so although this is a bit below par on an Egyptian level - on a European level it is very good compared to your travelodges and Holiday Inn Express's in the UK. The staff as always are friendly, attentive and yes you need to tip but this is the same in all Egypt - average tip is 20 EGP. Leave something to housekeeping and you will get lot of extras eg extra coffee etc. I liked the hotel, the other reviewers I think may have been there as tourists expecting something different but frankly this is a good tourist class hotel and its always a good sign when you see Egyptians staying which there were.

As my recent holiday plans brought me to Cairo with all the ancient attractions and vibrant culture, I found myself a bit lost in the choice of Hotels the City has to offer. Finally I decided for the Om Khaltoum Hotel in Zamalek and was a great deal! To me, Cairo is not Cairo without this Hotel, spreading the feeling of a Diva full of vibrant life and many stories and, as soon as you enter the beautiful lobby, you get the feeling of Om Klathoum discreetly sitting on a Sofa, sipping mint tea and waiting her Chauffeur. The location couldn’t be better, centrally placed, right in the upscale district of Zamalek, close to various museums and some of the best restaurants and only a short drive away from the Pyramids of Giza. Besides the strategic position, the Hotel also gives a fantastic view on the Nile and some of the mosques in the near neighborhood. The Rooms are very comfortable, clean and offer all the amenities you might need and, the bathrooms are really lovely. I booked a Suite and I highly recommend it, if you are travelling with family and/or friends or, if you just like to have lots of space, as the Suites are equipped with multiple beds and separated bedrooms. The price / value offer is fantastic and your clothes get all the space they deserve. 😊 All the Personnel was extremely kind and professional and deserve a special thanks. Everyone was always of immediate assistance and ready to help with transportation or all the request I had with a smile. Well appreciated! You will find delicious food at the two outside Restaurants, one with Egyptian delights and one with European Menu. The Night Terrace is a lively and popular hotspot in Zamalek among locals with higher standards to enjoy a tasty Cocktail and a good conversation. So for hotel guest a real opportunity to meet great egyptians and expats. The perfect place to make new acquaintances. As special remark, I would like to thank the entire Hotel Team ranging from the very competent General Manager Mr Imad to the office Manager Mrs Reem and of course all the staff like receptionists, cleaning team etc whom are doing a fantastic work! Everyone contributed greatly to this beautiful Hotel experience! All in all it was an outstanding stay and definitely the right choice for my stay in Cairo. PS: sorry that I didn't remember all the family names as everyone always spoke by first name, which made you feel even more welcomed.. PSS: Fighting the COVID pandemic, the hotel has implemented high efforts on sanitizing, packaging individually sanitary items and organizing scheduled time for shared area such as fitness and so.. So all measures are up-to date.

Incredible service throughout the entire stay. The Deluxe King Room that I stayed in was even larger than I expected. One of the best hotels I've stayed it & well deserving of its 5-star rating.

The hotel was terrible, upon entering the lobby, people were smoking inside. And my room was SO old, it did not look like the booking page photos, the bathtub was all scratched, the bathroom just looked so old and gross. The vent was NOISY and smelly. The sofa looked like it was 20 years old and all dented. The bed did not look made. Pillows looked like it had just been slept on. The lamp shade was crooked. The carpet looked so dirty. This hotel is in need of a renovation. I couldn’t stay there after what I saw and requested a change of room. And they were able to put me in the new annex and it looked much more acceptable and normal there.

This is the most comfortable hotel I have stayed in Egypt these days. It is in the villa area. It is very stylish, very clean, and very quiet. If you want to live in a downtown area for shopping, it is not suitable, but people who like quiet must be very I like it. The price is 300 to 400 RMB. It is much better than many Chinese B&Bs at the same price. However, all hotels in Egypt do not have combs, slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. You need to bring your own.

General impression - a normal place to stay for a few nights. Perfect location nearby Egyptian Museum and the Sadat subway station. But this causes a very noisy surrounding: honking cars move just beneath the windows all day long. Helpful staff. A very nice cafe La Poire accessible without leaving the building. Good breakfast, a lot of options changing daily. Coffee could have been better though. The room was cleaned (I moved two beds together and found no dust underneath), but it's quite weary. The window lock didn't work, the fridge was loud. Black mold in the shower was upsetting, too. No iron nor ironing board in the room, but ironing service available at a reasonable price about 50 EGP per piece.

Nice breakfast on one day. Clean room. Convenient location to train with good walkability. But I expected more from the staff's local knowledge. They had absolutely no idea where a post box was, even tho I'd seen one myself a few days earlier and simply couldn't remember its exact location. Then, no help whatsoever in mailing a postcard bc post offices would be closed for several days. One day's breakfast was disappointing compared to only the day before - the place was inconsistent. Great walking location also meant Uber driver had a difficult time reaching us at one point in the evening, and we walked to them after some confusion. Lively downtown area also means a LOT of street noise. Hotel's wooden floors, doors and hallways were incredibly loud at all hours, and staff was loud in the morning. Bring earplugs.

Not only give me free change, but also give me a subway ticket for free. I found that buying a ticket is really too Seriously, if there is no hotel to give me a ticket, I wait for ten minutes. The room was very beautiful. The hotel is situated in old buildings andhas old furniture but thats whats giving it its special spirit. The pool is avarage size-not big, not small and the deep is around 165cm. The water needs to be cleaned. But its very good for kids and also for adults. In the night there were swimming courses for kids from outside the hotel, which made the garden area very crowded and noisy. Our big thanks belongs to Mai from reception. Izzy who works at the front desk, had everything ready and waiting for our arrival, she was 10 steps ahead lol and I can appreciate that. Thank you Izzy!! They try their best to accommodate your requests. 5/5 for customer service and staff. Cleanliness of the room 5/5 and comfort 5/5. Did not like that the bar was close for the nights we stayed there so that really was our only con about our stay. I definitely recommend the Gabriel, two thumbs up!

Lovely smart hotel. Several restaurants. Massage and gym. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel nice sbd roomy. Rooms spacious. Would stay there again but if you want to be in the town centre with many shops you need to stay closer to city centre as this, was, about 30 minutes from airport. It didn't matter because everything is a short cheap taxi fare away. Also it's next to a military camp where you can see and hear the soldiers marching from your balcony. If the bugle noise bothers, you at 6am then maybe not for you. Also, but not related to the hotel you'll be woken up at 4am by the, wailing from the mosques but you can't really get away from that can you. The hotel I understand is, owned by the military and so you'll often see soldiers stay there. They weren't any trouble. In fact it made you feel safe.

They've got connections and can even help with making tour recommendations and reservations. Best of all, there is no pressure to take additional services if the price isn't what you had in mind.
