The location is north of Indianapolis, a wealthy area, and it is safe. It's just that there are too few people and too dark at night, parking is free, and there are many locations. The decoration is too old. Overall it's ok.

I was traveling to Indianapolis for a Leadership Team meeting on Wednesday evening last week. Forgetting I lose an hour going from Central time to Eastern, I arrived around 10:00 pm which is later than I wanted. So, to set this up, it was a long day. By the time I checked in, settled down and went to bed it was around 11:15 pm. Right outside my window, I kept hearing a pounding sound. Something like a hammer hitting a piece of wood. Occasionally, I would hear a few men cheering. I thought, surely it will stop soon. Not to mention I was too tired to get out of bed. The pounding goes on and on. Finally around 11:45, I got out of bed and look out my window. There is a group of young men playing corn hole in the parking lot. I pick up my phone and dial "O." It rang about 25 times before I hung up. I tried again. Another 25 rings. I wait about 15 minutes and dialed again. Another 25 rings. In desperation at about 12:30 am, I dial 911 and report a disturbance. I get back in bed and it quiets down and I am in that place where I was about 10 seconds away from falling asleep. BANG! Someone is pounding on my door. I can't find the light switch. I'm not dressed. I am fumbling around. BANG!! BANG!! I make my way to the door and look through the peep hole and see a hotel employee. I shout through the door, I need to put clothes on. I open the door and he says, there was a 911 call from this room is everything okay. I said, "Yes." I asked him why no one was picking up the phone at the front desk. He said he was busy. I fall back asleep. 2:00 am loud laughter and shouting jolt me awake. My heart is pounding. Right outside my room young me are carrying on. I dial "O." 25 rings no one answers. Another dial, 25 rings no one answers. I have to find my glasses so I can see the phone number on the room phone. I dial the hotel from my cell phone. What do you know, they pick up the phone. The lobby is so loud, we can barely hear each other. I asked why he is not picking up the phone when I dialed "O?" He said he was busy. I informed him I was just woken up by a loud party outside my window. He said, "I will see what I can do." I said, let me tell you what I am going to do. If the noise does not stop, I will call the police again. The noise stopped. I had to get up at 5:30 am for my business meeting. Exhausted, I stumble over to the in room coffee pot - all three packages of coffee were decaffeinated. You think I was going to call down for regular coffee? HECK NO!!!! At the office, the VP of Marketing said she left the hotel and stayed at another place. The Chief Operating Officer said it was horrible. We instructed our office to never use this hotel again. If you are ever in Carmel and expect to get a good night's sleep on a week day, skip this hotel.

Stayed at this hotel during COVID closures in late March/April for about 2 weeks so most hotel facilities were closed such as the pool and gym but they were still offering free breakfast in the form of grab and go back with a pastry, cereal bar and juice and free coffee in the lobby. Rooms were a decent size but of the older design for Residence Inns. No oven in the studio rooms but they do have the 2 ring burners. One day I asked if they had any large skillets or woks I could use for the night as was cooking for colleagues staying in the hotel with me and they actually went out to buy a wok for me to use which was above and beyond the service I was expecting. The rooms were not soundproof at all and some of the guests not very respectful, for several nights I had a family across the hall from me who decided it would be a good idea to let their kids slam the front door and go playing in the hallways at 2am, so you might want to bring some ear plugs.

We arrived here about 8pm the night before my birthday and I found cake and a lovely note waiting in the room! Was so impressed. The room was wonderful and Aveda bath products perfect. Beds super comfortable. Absolutely no complaints until the next weekend when we arrived home from vacation and realized our daughters school bookbag didnt make it into the car at 4am when we left the hotel. Called immediately and was told the cleaning staff were the only ones with a key to the lost and found so I had to leave a message. No return call by 10am the following morning so called again. Was told by desk staff that there are multiple locations where they put lost items so took my name. No call back for 2 days. Called again. Transferred to lost and found this time where I was again asked for what room I stayed in?? Who works at the hotel and can look that up?? By this time I have given a complete description of the bag and contents 3 times. At least this lady called back a few hours later only to tell me there is no sign of it. Then were did it go? In at 8pm, out at 4am. If someone really wanted to keep the Jansport bag whatever, but at least they could have turned in my daughters school books and glasses!!!

I've stayed at this hotel a few times over the past year for solo business travel. The rooms are clean, and I like the area. For me, I look for clean rooms, good restaurants nearby, good TV setup, and a hot tub. This hotel has the first three - no hot tub, unfortunately.

I needed a place to stay for a night close to a friend in a nearby nursing home in Carmel. This hotel was my perfect choice. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The rooms are super clean. Bedding (especially those amazing pillows) are so comfortable and relaxing. It’s the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time. As a Hilton Honors Diamond member - they made me feel so welcome. They even had a bag of goodies and bottles of water waiting for me in my room. Just the right touch! The hotel is very safe and secure and even offer to provide security escorts to and from your vehicle if requested. The breakfast the next morning is amazing! If you need a place to relax and recoup- this Hilton Garden Inn is definitely a top choice. It’s truly HEAVEN SENT!!!

I have been a Marriott member for years. We have always had great experiences at most of their hotels we stay at. Of course some have had some issues, but congratulations Fairfield, you have officially made us Hilton members for life. We felt completely unsafe from the moment we walked through the door. The hotel appeared to be filled to capacity that weekend due to sporting events in town. There must have been at least 30-40 adults downstairs hanging out in the lobby not wearing masks, not social distancing even though the hotel has a mask mandate in place. However, with that being said, you can't enforce something when YOUR OWN STAFF DO NOT FOLLOW THE RULES! Despite the sign on the door stating that a mask is required, the gentleman who checked us in, we were still confused if he worked there or not as he wasn't wearing any uniform. Nothing but a hat, an adidas t-shirt, and some kind of windbreaker jacket. At night, the girl working the front desk was wearing a crop top with no mask. In addition, the elevator apparently wasn't working for a bit and we had to walk up 4 flights of stairs carrying our luggage. The total and complete disregard for CDC guidelines is one of the reasons why Indiana COVID cases is on the rise again. I'm sure you can imagine that as a result, we will NEVER be staying here again and whenever asked will always deter people from the same. I am also a Hilton Honors member and they are doing it right. When we walked into their hotel in NW Indiana, we knew who worked there and they were doing all that they could to make their guests feel safe. They have just earned the business you lost.

We stayed in this hotel while travelling through the area. The check in process was quick and easy. The personnel were pleasant. The first room to which we were assigned had a bad odor. We noticed that the thermostat was set to 64 degrees by housekeeping. After requesting another room, the front desk obliged with no problem. The second room also had the thermostat set at 64 degrees. Given that this temperature is bound to cost the hotel money, I wonder if there is a humidity problem or perhaps even a mold problem in the hotel. While our second room did not have the same strange odor, there was some sort of odor (though not as bad) in the hallway. In addition, mold was on the ceiling in the bathroom and was in the process of spreading. The room was very comfortable and quite spacious. Pillows were "flat". (Why are hotels going to flat pillows????). Breakfast was good however foods need to be labelled. There were healthy options including turkey sausage and egg white omelettes. I doubt that the cinnamon rolls were from the famous brand company. They seemed really small and tasted flat. Given that we paid over $100 for the room, it seemed way overpriced. (Note: Pool is very small)

The room was clean and quiet. There is a full kitchen (including an oven) which makes cooking in the room very easy. The grounds are well kept and the property is located in a quiet neighborhood not far from a main street. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay which was only made better by the outstanding hotel manager who went above and beyond during my stay. I would highly recommend!

The Swiss Hotel Chicago was booked mainly for the marathon, and this time it was the right choice. I have to say that it is true that Ctrip is free to go abroad and it is really easy to use. I bought air tickets, booked accommodation, and Ctrip made it all. In the United States for so many days, I stayed at the Swiss Hotel in Chicago for the longest time. The Chicago River was just a few steps away, and I took a few steps to the shore of Lake Michigan. It was a runner's paradise. A large number of cruise ships parked in the port. Swim in turquoise lakes in a team. In the distance are the planetarium and the Field Museum, if you don't hurry, you can walk over to visit. The world is beautiful and beautiful.

Very old hotel, the elevator is very small, the corridor is very narrow, the room facilities are very old, the only advantage is that the location is not bad. The most disappointing thing is that the service of the hotel wants to say that the room service service slippers are good, but in the room, etc. After more than an hour, I didn't send it again. I asked if I didn't have slippers. I don't know if I have a slipper. I still have to call back to ask what the hotel is really lucky. I only stayed for two nights and cleaned the next morning. The aunt came to knock on the door at nine o'clock, and it was all right. Finally, the hotel room card will be back in the morning and the hotel will not be able to brush up and go to the lobby to re-brush the hotel! If you don't have a cheap map, don't live. Just blame us for the price increase of the Chicago hotel when we go. This broken hotel has to be 2000 nights.

You can cook with just a few spices. The hot coffee in the lobby is available 24 hours, and sometimes there are small dishes in the evening. Dim sum, many foreigners live here with their children.
