Lets start with the pros first. The room was typical Paris hotel room,a little small but nicely decorated. Bathroom was renovated and very beautiful actually. Location is great, right next to 4 metro lines. Many shops around to find food and practically everything. The only problem with the location is that the Republique square is constantly occupied by protesters and it feels a little unsafe. We tried to cross it twice and there were people following us till we left the square. And this during the day! Of course the hotel has nothing to do with that. One noon riots broke up that caused the intervention of riot police, regular police and the army! The cons now. We arrived in a very hot Friday, the room was actually boiling. The AC was simply not working. The receptionist gave us a simple explanation. Filters were not cleaned so the AC was actually out of order. He tried to find us another room but the option was a tiny room not enough for the family. He actually found a fan and brought it to our room. He promised that he will do his best but till Monday morning we left nothing was done. So basically, the hotel "sold" us something broken and for the whole amount!! We were lucky that the temperature came down significantly and we did not suffer any more. When we asked the evening receptionist if something happened with the AC,the reply was amazing..."now,goodbye" and he continued watching TV :) Of course we were charged with the normal price,no discount, not even a free breakfast. We actually felt a little exploited during our whole stay in Paris with the prices sky high and the romantic feeling of the city is long gone...only Marais reminds something of the old Paris we all loved

We had to shift our stay a few days earlier in order to escape the COVID-19 lockdown occurring in Rome, but this hotel refunded my points and made the change with no issue. They gave us the best rooms they had available. Location: Amazing location. There is a Hop-On/Hop-Off bus stop 15 feet from the door, a subway entrance about 50 feet away, and another subway entrance within a 5 minute walk. That's helpful sometimes because the main lines going through those stops were different. It was often easier to walk 5 minutes to the other stop rather than jump on the closer one and having to stop and change trains again. There are an enormous amount of restaurants near this hotel. You can find everything from expensive dining to reasonably priced street baguette vendors. Amenities: This hotel had a reasonably sized swimming pool, a hot tub, a fitness room, and a massage spa. I did not ever see anyone in the massage spa, so that may require reservations. The fitness room is pretty pathetic. It's tiny. There were two stationary bikes neither of which worked. There were just 2 treadmills and 1 elliptical. There were dumbbells but not a single place to sit, so the number of exercises I could do were limited. If you like to exercise in the hotel fitness room on your trips, look elsewhere. The Staff: I cannot say enough about how amazing the staff at this hotel were! Nearly every employee spoke fluent English. That's quite a bit different from when I visited 20 years ago. They booked site-seeing bus tickets for us, booked taxis for us, and made great suggestions on when/how to see which sites as well as restaurants. The front desk staff was so friendly that it felt like they'd all been trained at an American Chick-fil-A. I don't travel to Europe often, so I forget sometimes which cities/countries expect tips and which don't. We were reminded often that tips are not expect from us. I must say that I left a few anyway due to the exceptional service. I just wanted to reward and reinforce such great behavior. The Restaurant: I rarely use the hotel restaurants for anything other than breakfast and that's true here as well. The breakfast here was extremely good with an omelet station and oatmeal (ie. porridge) upon request. The juices were freshly squeezed. I could eat breakfast here every day. It does help that my breakfast is free due to my Ambassador Elite status, but there are plenty of places nearby to eat if you don't have status and don't want to spend a small fortune on breakfast. During this trip, we stayed in Rome, Paris, and London and technically my status gives me only 2 free breakfasts, one for me and one guest. I can't ding this hotel for sticking to their rules, but I have to note that my hotels in Rome and London allowed my entire family of 4 to eat breakfast for free with my status. That was a huge perk considering they charge $29 per person for breakfast and typically my kids eat a bowl of cereal and a

We stayed in this hotel between Christmas and New Year 2018 and we were pleasantly surprised. Good points: breakfast for 8 euros each. Considering that a coffee in a cafe is 5 euros, this was a great deal. You paid on the day so it didn't matter if you slept in (on the first morning we left our teens to sleep in their room and just two of us ate). For the 8 euro you got as much juice/coffee as you'd like, a lovely croissant each and baguette brought in a basket to the table. Also there was cheese, cereal, toast, yoghurt, other cake and fruit on offer. Enough to fill you up for the morning. We had internally facing rooms and it was so quiet, we left the window slightly open as we like air, and we had the fresh smell of bread from the next-door boulangerie wafting through at about 6am. Yum! The service at the desk was great. When we checked in I thought we'd have to leave our bags as it was early, but the rooms were ready so we could go straight up and get ourselves sorted. On the last day we could leave our luggage too which was also helpful. Less-good points The rooms were very small, but if you just want a base then it's fine. They are clean, with a good shower and the bed was comfortable. We had two rooms next to each other (our teens were in the next room) and there isn't much sound proofing as we could knock on the wall to wake them up in the morning! That was fine for us though. For a 2-star hotel in a good position in Paris then it's fine. If you're looking for luxury or to spend more time at the hotel - in a bar or relaxing in the room - then it wont be your type of hotel.

We stayed at the La Chambre du Marias in March 2020 for 3 nights (just before Paris closed down!) and I must say my wife and I really liked this hotel. It is a small, boutique hotel with only approx. 19 rooms. We had a standard room on the 3rd floor, which was very clean and tidy, tastefully decorated and all in all a nice place to be. The rooms are not massive but certainly typical of Paris. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom a good size and an excellent shower. The wardrobe space is sufficient for a few nights. But Paris is not about being in hotel rooms, so from our perspective, this hotel was a lovely oasis to return to after an exciting day in Paris - which, by the way, I would recommend by foot rather than metro, you see so much more! Marais is a really nice part of town, we normally stay in St Germain, but decided to try somewhere different. We really like Marais. the area is very trendy, lots of bar and restaurants, generally clean and safe. Would definitely stay in this areas again. There is a metro stations 5 mins walk, the Pompidou centre is 10 mins walk, Notre Dame 15 mins by foot. Anyway, back to the hotel. The staff here are excellent, really excellent. Very welcoming, always available, nothing is too much trouble. Faby and his team were really great, it makes such a difference to the hotel experience to feel so welcome. A really nice touch to this hotel is the free tea and coffee anytime of day or night. Just ask reception and complimentary tea and coffee will be freshly brewed and served. And I must say, none of that cheap stuff, this was really high quality tea and coffee. We didn't have the breakfast (other than coffee in the morning served in our room) and being a small bijoux hotel, there isn't as many facilities. The Wifi was fine, there is a lift, a bar and complimentary umbrellas for when it's raining. But this is not a big chain hotel, it is much more personal than that and, as far as we are concerned, a lovely place to be for a few days in Paris. We loved it and would definitely recommend. But if you're looking for a big chain hotel with gyms and the like then perhaps this hotel is not your style This place will be first on our list next time we're in Paris.

We stayed here a while ago and there was a really rude effeminate receptionist who seemed annoyed that he had to greet guests. The rooms were so ugly and uninspired. You would think they would put some effort into beautiful linens as it is one of the fashion capitals of the world. I saw better rooms in the Hampton Inn in the States, sadly. Our room had a mustard yellow blanket, ugly carpeting and was just generally an unpleasant experience. I would not stay at Ibis hotels again. This was my first experience with them and I was turned off. There was no tasteful decoration, it felt like a budget motel in the states-and this is Paris-embarrassing for them! So many cities come before Paris in beauty and design in Europe. Paris does not make the top 5 and it is because so many hotels like this one fail miserably in creating ambience. Istanbul and Venice are the most beautiful cities in Europe.

I have just returned from a lovely stay at Hotel Taylor in Paris. After doing a great deal of research of the best areas to stay in the city, I settled on this hotel as it seemed to be only a short journey from all of the major Parisian landmarks. Thankfully, I was not mistaken by choosing Hotel Taylor. Unfortunately, due to the transport strikes we were unable to use the metro, however the hotel is situated a very short walk from Jacques Bonsergent station. During our stay, we decided to walk to Notre Dame which only took around 40 minutes, and there are numerous bars, restaurants and cafes around the hotel. Although it is located in a bustling and vibrant area of Paris, Hotel Taylor sits on a quiet street with little outside noise, which makes for a relaxing stay. Check-in was very quick and easy, and we were even able to enter our room although we were early. The lady that checked us in was very nice, and was keen to speak French with me even though I was nervous. The reception area was bright and welcoming, and upon arrival in our room we were surprised at how spacious it was. The room was absolutely spotless and had a lot of amenities such as: a television, a safe, a kettle, a coffee maker, a hairdryer, dressing gowns, slippers and a strong internet connection. However, the tablet that was provided in the room was completely useless and did not connect to the internet or television. We really appreciated the free mini-bar, which offered apple juice, cola, water, crisps and biscuits. The bed was more than spacious enough for two people and the curtains did not let any light in, which meant that we slept soundly. The only thing I would say about the room is that it may not be suitable for non-couples. The bathroom area was integrated with the bedroom, with the only private area being a small room which contained only a toilet, which did not have a lock. The sink area was visible to the rest of the room and the shower was surrounded by walls of frosted glass, meaning that when you finished showering you had to walk straight into the bedroom area. This meant that there was minimal privacy in the bathroom area, which was slightly strange and tight for space. The hotel was silent both during the day and at night, and we were not disturbed once during our stay. All members of staff that we came into contact with were very polite and willing to help with any questions that we had. It should be noted that the lift in the hotel is extremely small and can only just hold two people. This means that if you have luggage, you will need to carry this up the steep staircase which isn't ideal but is useful to know prior to arrival. Sadly, we were unimpressed with the breakfast and did not feel that it was value for money. The choice of food and drinks was limited considering the 12€ charge, which was disappointing. Due to the transport disruption in the city, we chose to take the shuttle bus to Charles de Gaulle airport when we left. This was extremely useful

I went to Paris on business and booked a business room on the Agoda website. Upon my arrival in the afternoon, I greeted the male employee with black hair and fair skin, who looked quite annoyed, with "bonjour monsieur" (I'm French speaking). He just said "bonjour", which is quite impolite. No "bonjour madame", no "bienvenue à l'hôtel", no smile. He gave me the key and I went up to my room. When I opened the door, I saw that the very small room didn't look at all like the business room I had seen on the Agoda website. It was very small and had no desk. I went back to the receptionist and informed him about the problem. He gave me the key for another business room on the same floor. It was still much smaller than the one on the Agoda picture, but it had a small desk in the corner. Unfortunately, it was so close to the bed (see picture), that it's nearly impossible to get on the chair unless you stand on the bed first. Moreover, you have to be very slim to fit in the narrow space between the chair and the desk. I went for a walk and when I came back, the door to my room was unlocked (I had locked it when I left, because I'm a maniac when it comes to checking closed doors, even at home). I reported it to the receptionist. He said he would report it to whom it may concern. The location of the hotel is great, but the staff is quite indifferent and sometimes the entrance smells of smoke. I've seen two employees smoking at the entrance of the hotel leaning to the door, one of them several times a day. Sometimes, you even notice the smell of cigarettes when you get out of the elevator, which is only three meters from the entrance. When I checked out, there was no "I hope you enjoyed your stay" or "thank you for your stay". Just complete indifference. The only kind receptionist is the bold man who works in the evening and at night. I will not return to this hotel, but I admit that part of the disappointment is due to the picture of Agoda which does not correspond at all to the tiny business room with a tiny triangle desk (rather a piece of wood) in the corner of the room. I have no clue why they call this small room a business room. It offers no possibility to work at a desk. I do not recommend this hotel and I do not recommend Agoda.

Very nice hotel in a very nice part of Paris! Upon arrival we were welcomed by the friendly staff of the hotel which showed us our cosy room. The room itself was very clean and modern. In case you’re interested in discovering the neighbourhood and local restaurants the staff’s got some really nice tips for you! We had a great time here and would definitely recommend it if you’re visiting Paris!

I can't speak to the other rooms in the hotel but I loved the loft room, it felt like our own Paris apartment. It does overlook a school across the way and the children are rather rambunctious BUT you shouldn't be sitting in your room all day long, you're supposed to be out sight-seeing (and they are very much not in school after 4 or 5 PM). It was immaculately clean (I hate carpets and comforters, and liked how modern and crisp everything was) and centrally located in the city. The nearest big train station is Les Halles but there is a smaller metro stop around the corner called Arts and Metiers. I would definitely come back and stay here, I loved it. I don't like hotels that FEEL like hotels so this was perfect!

The hotel location is very good, very close to the Arc de Triomphe, a five minute walk to the subway station can also take a direct bus to and from Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airport. Facilities breakfast also fully reached the four-star standard, the gym is relatively small. The front desk is more enthusiastic. There is a little brother who can speak Chinese, which makes communication more convenient.

Stayed at the B&B hotel for three nights while visiting Disney. Anyone looking for a cheap place to stay this is perfect. Hotel is spotlessly clean, really friendly staff, good sized rooms with comfortable beds and shower room. The hotel serves a simple dinner of pasta or pizza which is great, easy to order and quick to come. Breakfast is simple but just want you need at the start of the day. Tables were cleared quickly and everything very clean and presented well. We were worried about the shuttle overcrowding but there are a few services which only run from the B&B hotel and others which go to the other four hotels on the complex which makes it easy. We always got on a bus even if it was busy and never had to wait long! Lockers are available to store luggage if your arrive before your room is ready or check out early. We will be back on our next disney trip!

For the first time in a hotel model, the century-old building is said to be a historical cultural relics protection unit in Paris, so it is completely banned. My old cigarette can only smoke in a small yard. Miss Luo is very enthusiastic, let us have the feeling of going home. There is a black guy in night shift who speaks Chinese very well. He said that he read a book in Guangzhou. In the morning, the girl named Marty also speaks Chinese. There is no problem at all, and at the same time give us a lot of advice on the tour, much stronger than those that are not reliable. It is very convenient to exit the subway 50 meters away. This area is a safe place for French people to live in. The room is big enough to be the floor-to-ceiling glass window in Europe. Our bedroom is very close to the yard, so the living room is a bit noisy. It is highly recommended to add a Chinese breakfast. It is really not suitable for those cheese breads, and it is better to have Chinese TV. If you have the opportunity to come back to Paris, you will still come to the Paris Residence.

Good location, nearby Carrefour, franprix and other supermarkets! I live on the 2nd floor facing the street, and it is very quiet at night, but the sound insulation between the room and the room is really average. The room is not large and has a balcony (not every room, so it is best to leave a message to tell the room with a balcony when booking) ), There is also a door in the bathroom sharing a balcony with the room, so the balcony is quite large. The hotel only provides shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer. Slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Lines 7 and 10 are only 5 minutes' walk from the surrounding area. Line 4 is about 15 minutes away. The 5th district is a Latin area, surrounded by universities, so it is safe! The hotel has access control locks, staff need to help open the door to enter! Breakfast is an ordinary western-style breakfast, bread, milk, eggs, oatmeal, sausage and cheese. A tax of 1.88 euros per person per night, which must be paid to the front desk when checking out. This Ctrip will also call you when you are in China to inform you that this tax must be paid to the hotel separately! The hotel provides free wlan, but the Internet speed is average, the room has air conditioning and heating. In short, the price is high!

We got a beautiful Junior Suite with Balcony, even in the city and on a street with traffic located, it was very quiet and you couldnt hear anything from outside while the doors are closed. It is very spacious and with a very pretty bathroom with luxury amenities from Hermés! And of course full equipped mini bar with Nespresso coffee machine. The breakfast is delicious and a mix from a la carte and buffet, what I love. So you can have everything what your heart desire. The best is the amazing Akasha Spa!! It is so big and has everything, big indoor pool, big sauna, big steam bath, big jacuzzi and a cold bath. Even if they are many relax beds to lay on, sometimes you are just alone and its like you have a private spa. Friendly and helpful staff all around the hotel! I definitely will return!
