When traveling there is a wide-range of places to spend the night to fit most budgets. If you don't want to spend your entire vacation budget the first night and don't need the free breakfast (great in most cases not so much for single traveler when you factor in how much you're actually paying for the free breakfast). This location is easy on and off the 99. There are fast food restaurants within walking distance. Room was for the most part clean with the basics. Here is what could be done to improve: power wash the sidewalks in front of the rooms, paint the doors (inside and outside), put a blanket on the bed (yes it's hot in the summer in Fresno but give the guest the option to kick it off), scrub the shower/bath tile better, leave an extra roll of toilet paper in room, Internet could be faster, adjust televisions so picture is clearer, clean a/c filters so that when it comes on you don't smell a green leafy substance or a lot of skunks outside. All in all I did spend 2/3 less than surrounding places and this place could be worth it but Motel 6 needs to figure out how to step up their game a little or at least this one does.

And this Quality Inn on Shaw & 99 in Fresno is superb! Perfect! From bed to breakfast to checkout, my stay was the best! Wonderful staff, Michele remembered me from my last stay! I can only suggest one thing... better tv channel selection, with some old favorites or classic movies, or Britbox! Tired of violence & reality shows! Please?

When we visited in February, it was Ok, Nice breakfast. Rooms were ok, kind of dirty and run down, but the breakfast, coffee, and water made it worthwhile. NOW, what was OK is now abhorrent. Just a few observations: 1. Only one person in the LOBBY. The big HUGE lobby which is about as big as my house. Which meant, I had to stay in the 145-degree car while my husband checked in. 2. NO breakfast, no coffee, no visiting with family members who came to mourn our brother's death 3. A shower that drools water on you. Literally DROOLS water--worst water pressure I have ever had in my life in a hotel. 4. The rooms are not cleaned. Uncomfortable Beds not made. Trash not collected. A call to the desk reveals that due to the "covid" they are not cleaning rooms, making beds, or basically doing a damn thing but collecting our money. 5. Yet, for this self-service experience, they still feel fine about charging over $90 a night with tax for a room. 6. Since they won't let us sit in the dining room, and there are no restaurants open we ordered a food delivery. the hotel refused to allow the restaurant to deliver to our unit even though we were the ONLY ONES IN THE BUILDING. My husband and his brother had to go to the front of the hotel and get the bags of food from the delivery driver and bring it all back to our building. Seriously? 7. did not bring new soap or shampoo to the room even though we used up your microscopic bottle. thanks for that too. In order to get the trash emptied,we had to set it outside our room, which actually remained there until we checked out. We had to get large garbage bags from the front desk to put trash in our room since no one bothered to come in. They also told us to just let the dirty towels pile up in our room. How healthy is that? Very few rooms are filled--you would think they would bend over backward to make sure the place is clean. I will never again stay here. I would rather sleep on the sidewalk than stay in this place again You are using the covid farce to not do your jobs, to treat guests like scum and yet you think it is ok to still charge nearly a hundred bucks night? Not sure how you sleep at night. What happened to the days when you were not happy, they would bend over backwards to take care of you and make you happy? Did COVID remove your heart as well?

Stayed here for one night, Dec 22, 2019. We have started at many Holiday Inn Express including 4 others this same week. This is not brand new. Staff was friendly but our issues are with the rooms. At least our room (225). We always pull the sheets down to inspect the mattress. Our mattress did not even have a zipped mattress cover (health hazard). It was bare with lint and some hairs on it. And I see from previous photos people had bed bugs and bites from sleeping in the beds. The sheets were clean but very old. Washed so many times they were "pilling". The bath tub and bathroom sink did not have stopper plugs in them. Freeway traffic terrible. Our other stays at similar Holiday Inns that faced the freeway were much quieter. Maybe window quality? At 5:30 in the morning the Garbage truck arrived to dump the large dumpsters. Very noisy including the back up alarm on the truck. We ended up getting up and leaving (checking out) early on our travels. This facility still uses single use shampoo, conditioner, soap . If this was a new or refurbished then they would use the fixed units installed in the showers like all the other New or refurbished Holiday Inn's we stayed at this week. Maybe the "New" look only applies to the lobby and downstairs as the hallways, elevator snd rooms do not look like they had been redone or newer.

We had a great stay there during our evacuation from the Creek Fire. The staff was helpful. They made us comfortable with their hospitality. The house keepers and maintenance guys were great, especially Art. We were there with three kids, and it was nice to have them inside under the dome to play & stretch out! Thank you.

Check in was easy and the front desk staff was nice. Clearly explained that their would not be any housekeeping unless we requested something. Our room was on the 3rd floor facing the front parking lot. If your facing the hotel, our room was the corner room to the right. Here’s the problem: one of the mornings (Thursday or Friday?) at 6:45am (!) the trash company came to empty the hotel’s dumpster! Needless to say it was extremely loud and woke us up. Also, every and each night some type of ventilation fan or loud equipment would turn on and off. It was very annoying to listen to throughout the entire night. We are necessarily light sleepers and we had asked for a quiet room. If you are a light sleeper, request a room on the far other side of the hotel and maybe facing the back of the hotel. Both the dumpster being emptied very early in the morning and the equipment going on/off make for a rough night’s sleep. The room and bathroom were clean. As I had stated in other reviews, Hampton hotel bedsheets only hang over each side MAYBE 2” at the most. So, if your bed partner pulls the sheets their way, you’ll be short-sheeted and left out in the cold! Breakfast during Covid has been to go bags. This Hampton lets you order what you’d like from their hot & cold selections, and an employee will make you a plate/bowl of whatever you’d like. The waffle irons weren’t working during our stay which was a little disappointing. The hard boiled eggs were frozen inside. The eggs and potatoes were edible if you’re starving. Oatmeal, cold cereals, yogurt and juices are also available. The breakfast employees are very friendly and happy to serve you. This is a good location and was 15-20 minutes away from many good restaurants. The hotel is located right next to 2 other hotels. There is a Starbucks, Little Caesar’s and a Quizo’s next to all 3 hotels. Lastly, during check-in we were told the check out time was 12:00pm. The day we left at 11:45am housekeeping knocked and then the front desk called asking if we were checking out because check-out WAS at 11:00am! She was very nice about, but I did tell her that we were told check-out was at noon, not 11:00am. We would stay here again if we could get a room on the other side of the hotel!
