Breakfast is very rich, remember the same price. Be sure to arrange a high-rise and north-facing room at the front desk, because the view of the Berlin Zoo from the large window of the room is highly recommended! It can be said to be an unexpected surprise! The room was okay, meeting the price and star standards. Parking is more expensive 25 Euros per night General hotel only about 10 Euros. However, there are many parking spaces on both sides of the road at the entrance of the hotel. If you are lucky, you will find free spaces when you return at night. The hotel is not far from the crotch street. It is a ten-minute walk to Berlin's zoo and aquarium. Finally the hotel. The pool is not yet available. If necessary, only swimming at the InterContinental Hotel across the road is free.

Hotel location is good, bus 200 at the entrance, next to the zoo, not far from the train station, walking to the crotch street is very close! Friends who like shopping will be very happy, breakfast is good in a hotel abroad! But compared with domestic hotels of the same level, it is still a lot worse, but the hotel breakfast has Chinese food, porridge and some small pickles. No doubt for those who like Chinese food. The rooms are relatively small and the facilities are old. There is no hot water pot, but the coffee machine can make hot chocolate and tea, and it can satisfy the stomach who likes hot drinks! The hotel does not provide toothpaste and toothbrush, there are disposable slippers and ironing board, a free bottle of mineral water a day, there is a good Italian restaurant across the road.

Formerly the Holiday Inn Express. This has recently been taken over and totally refurbished as A high standard modern Premier Inn. Staff at reception very friendly all spoke perfect English. Breakfast offering due to covid was only a grab bag. Not worth the money. Across the road open from 7am a bakery. Two croissants and a coffee €5. Hotel room had kettle and tea/coffee. Extra supplies just ask at reception anytime or on reception desk in morning. Rooms very clean and new. Could smell new carpets. Rain shower in bathroom. Location. 3 min walk from wittenbergplatz Station. Chinese next door does nice food. There is also a nice Italian the other side. Rooms extremely cheap for Berlin and high quality. If you have stayed in Premier Inn in UK. This is the modern version. Definetly book again.

The location of the hotel is very easy to find. Nearby is the pedestrian mall of shopping malls. There are dm stores and other things. The luxury goods in shopping malls are more expensive than those in the United States and other places. I just bought some German-made daily necessities for my family. It was discovered that it was made in China. I ordered something for dinner at the hotel restaurant. The salmon rice was delicious. The taste of other sausages was more salty and I did n’t like it. I traveled to Berlin for a business trip and took a taxi to the airport for about twenty euros. Most of the taxis were Mercedes-Benz cars.

The two IBIS stayed together a few times and were often confused by the side. There is a paid parking lot (if you mind some hotels nearby are free) It can only be said to live, if other hotels around the bed are not tight, it is recommended to choose other. If you want to shop, play, the location is still very good.

The 16th of July 2020 we headed back home from our vacation and had been driving through Germany for 1 day. We wanted to have stay over in Berlin to relax and enjoy life at a high rated hotel. We chose Hotel Palace Berlin and booked two rooms as all family rooms was occupied. Luckily we got 2 rooms just beside each other at the third floor. The room was very nice and clean, with great room for 2 persons. The view though was a bit disappointing as the outside area was filled with building materials and containers. We did also notice that the room just next door was under construction but we dident think more about it. We had a great dinner at a restaurant in Prenzlauer Berg at the Flying Monkey (can absolutely recommend) and after that we would like to have a good night sleep. Unluckily I woke up at 7 am in the morning as the construction workers started knocking and drilling in the room just beside me. I tried to sleep again, but the noise was way too loud and continued until I had enough and got out of bed. I visited the reception to express my complaint and I got the message from the employees that they were very sorry about it and excused many times that normally the construction workers would give a 'heads-up' before starting the construction work. The message was that they could not give any compensation as the rooms was already paid and the city tax couldn't be refunded. We (my wife and I) kept complaining and talked to another employee. She finally promised to do something about it and give us an answer or solution to our complaint the same day either via phone or mail. We accepted and left Berlin the 17th of July 2020 heading home to Denmark. We had no answer that day, even though we kept requesting an answer or solution to our complaint. The day after (18th of July) we wrote a mail to the Hotel Palace Berlin again, requesting an answer or solution as promised. We got an answer (at least), that the manager was on vacation but would take it as the first task when arriving back to work the week after. Today, the 6th of August 2020, we still haven't heard anything from Hotel Palace Berlin. After 3 attempts between 18th of July and today to receive a solution or answer to our complaint - we gave up and wrote this feedback instead. I have waited to post this review until now as I know everyone has been affected by Covid-19 and vacation time. But I won't accept this and I think Hotel Palace Berlin had the chance to do something about it to avoid negative feedback. I think it is very unprofessional, in the first place, to give us the rooms just next to the construction area. It is very unprofessional to avoid and not giving us a solution or answer to our complaint the same day as promised. It is very very unprofessional to ignore our requests for an answer or solution. This feedback is ment to give a heads-up to everyone wanting to visit Berlin and consider staying at Hotel Palace Berlin - be cautious...

The location is not bad, there are two bus stops nearby that can go to almost all kinds of places, especially the 100 road at the door. It's a short walk from the subway station, not very close, there is a lively dm supermarket. There is a netto supermarket opposite the hotel and things are cheap. I didn't find a place to eat nearby, but there was a parking lot. Nobody at night, quiet neighborhood. I have to take the bus wherever I go. I can't find the 100 station from the train station, but I walked to the hotel. So staying here, bus tickets must be bought, walking is not allowed, except for the Berlin Zoo. The facilities were unexpected. The appearance of this hotel is not so good. I didn't expect to have a kitchen in my room! I don't know what happened. There is no range hood, it's the kind of electric stove, so I can't use it, only the refrigerator and kettle are a bit interesting. The rooms are big and really big. I don't know what kind of room I live in, on the top floor. Check out soon. When I checked in, it was exactly 3 pm, but it is understandable that this was originally stipulated, so I checked my luggage out early. Hygiene is okay, there is no shower curtain in the bath, and there is a half-glass, so water will accumulate on the floor.

We liked the location of the hotel, for example, the stop of 100 and 200 buses is nearby and you can easily visit many sightseeing places. The room was spacious, had soundproof windows, slippers, smart TV. Breakfast was good and the possibility to have coffee or tea at any time was nice. We got a room just across from the hall and elevator, and we heard every noise from the corridor in the early morning. On the day of the check out the maid just opened our door and tried to come in - it was early morning, and as it was the check out day there was no need for her to do it before we checked out, did not even apologize, My husband had a birthday on the weekend we stayed in the hotel and the staff did not even congratulate him. Because of the wall between bed and sofa, there is not enough light in the room, so even during the day we had to switch on lights. I would prefer to have small hand towels instead of paper tissues in the bathroom, especially as the hotel seems to be eco-friendly.

The hotel is right at the entrance to the U7 underground station, which is good. However, I find the policy of extra fees appaling. The room was fully booked upfront online and when checking out I was asked a weird question what the nature of my visit to Berlin was (!). Does anyone has the right to ask me about it? What if I do not answer this question? And as it turned out, "Holiday/private/leisure/visiting friends/sightseeing" are the answers which mean you will have to pay extra EUR 3,18 for nothing. Does a private trip mean that I use the room EUR 3,18 "more" than on a business trip? Does the hotel want to punish those on "private" trips and tell them "Do not come to visit Berlin or you must pay extra"??? Ridiculous policy. Not coming to Berlin, next time I will choose places where I am not punished because I am not on a business trip.

Beautiful hotel in idyllic residential area. At least a 1 hour walk to centre, close to public transport, even closer to lake and park. Room was clean with small balcony. Quite a few things did spoil the stay for me though. I arrived at 12pm and although I knew at booking that I couldn't check in until 3pm I found it strange that there was nowhere to sit and wait with a drink or some food. I wasn't offered a drink while I waited. There was only one restaurant that was not open, small lobby bar that was not open and the beer garden cafe/bar that was not open. I had come off a long flight, in 30+ degrees and couldn't even get a glass of water at my soon-to-be hotel for the week. When I asked if there was somewhere I could get one from I was told I had to go to a nearby cafe. I came back at 2:30 and asked again if there was really nowhere to get any drink from and the lady finally agreed to get me a drink herself from the lobby bar - a concentrated orange juice and machine cappuccino cost me 9 euro's. I wouldn't recommend buying the breakfast package, I did and missed the first morning as it closed at 10am and I couldn't get a refund, the second morning I made it at 9:45 and was followed round the buffet by a member of the kitchen staff who literally asked me "what are you looking for?" clearly impatient that I hadn't arrived early, at exactly 10am 2 members were next to my table pointing at their watches and telling me my time was up with my bowl of fruit. On the last day I had to leave before breakfast and asked again about a refund for that day, I was told I couldn't but could take something with me from the breakfast bar, however when I went to the breakfast bar the waitress told me I couldn't and had to wait until 6am. One of the bar staff members kept charging me 4 euros for beers that were clearly priced at 3.90 and frustratingly you are not allowed to sit in the beer garden after 9 pm as they chain the chairs to the tables, this was annoying as for me it was the most idyllic part and biggest selling point of the hotel, so there is literally nowhere to go apart from the small uncomfortable lobby bar. Finally, I was also looking forward to using the sauna in the mornings but it doesn't open until 4pm and I didn't see this pointed out when booking. These are many small frustrations that took the shine off a hotel that should easily get 5 stars.

For the Berlin Marathon, we chose the hotel within walking distance of the Brandenburg Gate. Old German hotels, the room facilities, area, and layout are very classic, compared to many typical German-style hotels with small beds and cabins closer to the early domestic four-star hotels. Pros: Quiet, close to the park, rich breakfast, the hotel's only restaurant tastes good, the service is good, and the price is fair. Cons: No1. Not soundproof! On the first night of the marathon, there was an Arab or some banquet in the ballroom. The room on the second floor was always noisy with ding-dong music until 23:00! No2 The exhaust system is not good, the room always asks for the fume smell before and after meals. No3 As a four-star hotel, it is hard to imagine that the concierge was never seen at the door, and there was no room service or any on-site service. When I returned to the hotel after the game, I wanted to have some ice cubes and was told by the front desk that I could go to the bar on the first floor. The bar on the first floor may be understaffed and no one greet for a long time. No 4 is not close to the subway. In the end, I probably understand why there are still a lot of vacancies on the eve of the marathon, and the next marathon should be avoided.

It is a small modern hostel with four rooms. We stayed (family with teenager) in 4-beds room with bathroom and refrigerator, quite spacious, with large dinning table. There is a shared kitchen, well equipped, with tea, coffee, oil, spices, you can use. Host (David) was very kind and helpful. There is a free parking all around the hotel, there was no problem finding free space (right in front of our window). Large maerkets and petrol stations near by. Excellent public transport (tram and bus) connection with the centre. Neighborhood is OK. Hostel is on the ground floor, and rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy in the morning, but not that much that it ould be something too disturbing.

Because we are two girls to go to Berlin to play, so it is quite important to stay safe. The location of this home is very good, there are subways, supermarkets, commercial streets, and Chinese restaurants (the reviews are quite high, but I did not eat). It can be considered as a quiet place. The hotel is quiet near the hotel. It will go back around 11:00 in the middle of the night. There will be no strange people wandering around. But after a five-minute ten minute walk to the commercial street, curry36 also has a branch there. The hotel looks like it will be after 3 pm, but you can leave your luggage in advance. A credit card guarantee is required before check-in, and if not, a debit card is also available. The English at the front desk is also good. (In addition, the iced peach steam in the lobby is very good) I live like a suite, 59 flat. Is the entrance to the living room? There is a sofa TV or something, going inside is a bed, a wall behind the bed is a table, you can make tea or coffee. The wardrobe is also over there. Overall it feels quite big, there are two bathrooms, the shower and the bathtub are separated in the bathroom. (The only downside is that the bath water is easy to overflow, and the bathroom is a wooden floor. It takes a long time to step on it. It feels a bit uneven.) Breakfast did not eat, so I don't know, the overall is a good hotel, not expensive, the service is not bad.

First don't trust the pictures on Booking. Com or anyother booking service even the hotels own site, it is even more over priced. Second comparing prices to hotels in Dubai, i would say they rank up to a half star. And this is berlin Germany. I guess the management should take a vacation and visit Dubai to learn about how the world advanced since the fifties or even the 1800s. In dubai for this price tag you get a big tv, water in the room as much as you want, a mini bar and nespresso machine, filled up complimentary every day and by all means a bigger room. Here even the interior design is done by an outdated designer i guess the room coughs old. The only good thing is the location but the price tag is high for the service and the hotel is outdated. They should charge like 35 Euros for the night. The staff didn't know how to operate the hdmi neither one can know from this old hotel remote control. The fridge had an ice pack in it to help cool stuff . The bathroom was too old and had 2in1 shampoo/body saop. The suites are the only moderised rooms here and have decent size. And the rooms are not sound proof you would hear the neighbors fart if they did. So the gym which was the only facility open had few treadmills and that's it. And they did not have a free cancelation policy. So basically it's a scam. Look somewhere else and check the rooms and make sure you have a free cancelation. Don't be fooled by the pictures and the Lamborghinis in the front.

The hotel was lovely and modern, the room was warm and the bed comfy. Plenty of storage and plug points available. Clean and tidy aswell. The bathroom was compact but ideal for our needs. Tv in room and minibar. The location was absolutely fantastic after spending what felt like years reading reviews. This location was amazing for us. First of all there is a bus stop right outside so you can get there so easily via bus from the airport. We walked most days to Alexanderplatz walking past museum island and the river (10 - 15mins max to the platz). The Gedendermarkt Christmas Market was literally 2 minutes up the road in the other direction. Could not have asked for more. It was lit well at night so we felt safe walking around late. We found a wonderful little cafe just up the road for breakfast. I had the yummiest yogurt bowl and they had delicious looking cakes and sandwiches. I emailed asking for a nice view and we got a beautiful view of the church. The road outside didn't cause any noise disruption. There was also a little shop just over the road great for water / drinks for room. Great, polite service from the staff. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

A great hotel in a central location. The breakfast was great, although the atmosphere was pretty noisy taking into account the huge number of people staying at the hotel. The only disadvantage is that for parking I was not able simply to drive into the parking garage, although it says that no prior reservation is needed, so I suppose I had to call the hotel in advance and tell them I'm coming with a car. So I would advise Ctrip to update this part of the information. Nevertheless, if you want to pay 10€ instead of the 22€ a day for parking in the hotel's parking garage, you can consider the parking area at Gleisdreieck, which is around 5 minutes on foot from the hotel.

I booked a weekend away with my partner at this hotel and booked the room which had the games machine in it. We got there and it wasn’t in the room... Then the AC stopped working and I tried to call the front desk but the phone wasn’t working. So I went down to the front desk to ask for a handyman and the lady told me that a handyman would hopefully be up soon. We waited for 40 mins and I then had to walk back to the reception to be told by someone else that a handyman would not be coming but I would have to change rooms at that time of the evening. This is unacceptable. The staff was friendly so I can’t complain about their attitude. But this is still unacceptable. We got up at 11pm and drove home. And to add, this is a hotel with means there will be tourists there. Tourists usually don’t speak German. Why are all the tv stations in German?!

That is an upside however my only critisism is that any of the rooms over looking the street are really noicy and the buzz from the bars below goes on late into the night, so for me i won't stay in any of the rooms overlooking the street as you simply don't get a good nights sleep, even during the Covid period. One final point is the rooms i have stayed in didn't have air conditioning (the portable air conditioner wasn't great) so again be careful as Berlin can get very warm. There is so much choive in Berlin these days and whilst the hotel is good, it is expensive and make sure you get a room without the noice interuption.

Pros: - warm welcome and farewell - friendly staff (each of them!) - clean rooms - conveniently located close to the railway station "Gesundbrunnen" - parking spaces available for a fee. Cons: - breakfast. The hotel charges you with € 10 for breakfast. The question is: What will you get for your money? Frankly speaking, it is disappointing! You get one bread roll, one slice of sausage, one slice of cheese, a mini-croissants, jam, a banana, a yogurt and orange juice. On my last day, the hotel reduced this offer and one of the two plates were replaced by the possibility to ask for cereals. It was not possible to get a second serving or make any changes according to your preferences. To avoid any misunderstanding: the quality was not poor but one bread roll for an adult is too less! In the surrounding area of the hotel are several cafés and bakeries located. To put you in the position to make your own judgement whether to order breakfast or not, please see the enclosed photos. Potential for improvement: - there is no garbage can in the hotel room (only a small one for sanitary products in the bathroom). It would not be only in the favor of the hotel guest but also in the one of the hotel staff if a garbage would be in hotel room to keep the room clean - in particular in the light that due to the Covid19-issue, the room will be cleaned up only on special request. Further information: - there is no safe in your room but lockers in the lobby area. - a few steps away from the hotel is the train station "Gesundbrunnen". At this station are long-distance trains (ICE), regional trains (Regional Express), suburban trains (S-Bahn) and the metro arriving and leaving. For example: it is a 4 minute ride with the Regional Express to Berlin main station and a 8 minutes ride with the metro "U8" to Alexanderplatz. - In front of the hotel are free public parking spaces. If you prefer a safe place to park your car, the hotel offers own parking spaces in the courtyard for € 15 per night. - In the neighborhood of the hotel are located several German (Lidl, Aldi, Rewe) and Turkish (eurogida) supermarkets and the shopping center "Gesundbrunnen".

We spent 5 nights inThe Circus Apartments. We had booked a Duo Economy room, but that had been re-allocated, so we were upgraded to the Schroeder Duo apartment on the 1st floor (at no extra cost). This is the second time we have stayed in Circus Apartments and both times have been excellent. The apartment was spacious and nicely decorated, with a very good supply of kitchen utensils and crockery. There is a full-size cooker and oven, microwave and fridge. A free laundry is located in the building basement. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment is quiet. This apartment also has a balcony with chairs and table. The only minor drawbacks were that the shower rose could not be adjusted sufficiently to avoid splashing a considerable amount of water on the bathroom floor, and the lighting in the living area is quite dim. All staff we encountered were cheery and very helpful. The apartment location is good, being not too far from public transport stops, supermarket and other shops, and the local area is pleasant and interesting for a walk around. It is also easy to work out suitable routes to go for a run. We highly recommend Circus Apartments.

The two IBIS stayed together a few times and were often confused by the side. There is a paid parking lot (if you mind some hotels nearby are free) It can only be said to live, if other hotels around the bed are not tight, it is recommended to choose other. If you want to shop, play, the location is still very good.

Good pleasant air conditioning. Windows can be opened if *** like us, I would like to have fresh air. Come here again.

The location is very good, very close to the bus station and convenient for transportation. And the downstairs of the election of the Imperial Street is really too good to go shopping! It is really good to live here! It’s too good to buy, and there are big names. .

So, before jetting off to Berlin, my girlfriend and I read the reviews and found out that one side of the hotel was loud near the U Bahn overground train which made alot of noise with passing trains. We requested well in advance a room at the front of the hotel where there was less noise. On arrival, we were told we had to wait until 3/4pm as the quieter room was not made up. Finally when we checked in and viewed the room, our room was actually one of the louder rooms near the track. The next morning, we decided to have breakfast in the hotel for a cost of €8.50. Before paying, I asked a staff member was it an english/Irish hot breakfast and instead of saying he does not speak english and call someone who does, he just nods his head. We buy the breakfast and to our dissapointed, the breakfast consisted of breads, cereals, cold meats and cheese, oh and boiled eggs. I confronted the manager and he said it was my fault that the staff member told us the wrong information about breakfast. I then asked the manager about the room and he never said sorry, he just said go clean your room and you can move to a quieter room....which really was not that much quieter. Hotel is ok but the manager had the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I love Berlin but I wont stay there again.

Express Hotel All room specifications are the same. Breakfast is normal. Those in normal European hotels are slightly simple. Nothing in the room. You need to prepare yourself. The nearest subway station walks for ten minutes. If you go to travel, it is not convenient to take the subway. The subway is a little longer. The surrounding environment is still quiet. It is not the place where the Chinese are getting together. There is an ice cream shop opposite the hotel. 1.2 Euro is delicious. There is also a outside. The atmosphere of the restaurant that eats the steak is very good. Below is the photo of the restaurant. It’s okay to stroll to the subway station. There is a supermarket. You can also go to the subway bus because Berlin’s public transportation is particularly difficult.

We stayed in the motel one recently for one night to explore Berlin. The hotel was great (checkin could have been a bit more efficient), the rooms are not very large but very modern, clean and are good for a short stay. The bathroom was with a very nice walk in shower. We liked that the bar was open on Saturday evening way after midnight, so we could enjoy a couple of drinks after we came back late to the hotel (maybe common in Berlin) We came with the car, there are a few spots outside on the street (residential area, but seems possible to find some spots) and they have also a parking garage. The hotel is located only a few hundred meters from Bellevue, and has a really good connection with the bus. From Bellevue you can take the line 100 directly to the Reichstag, or continue on to Alexander Platz. There is also a bus line stopping right in front of the hotel (coming from Potsdamer Platz). It was really easy to get around. Also, we had quite a reasonable rate for Berlin. So definitely a place I can recommend for a short stay in Berlin.
