Warmth in wilderness In a beautiful hamlet set against the backdrop of mighty hills, we did not thought we would find a place offering an amazing hospitality in such a offbeat destination, and most importantly, love and warmth that would make one feel absolutely at home. We had a room with the balcony offering a spectacular view of the river, one could sit for hours here soaking in the sun. The staff is courteous and will go out of its way to help you with anything that you want. Mr. Kewal krishan is one of the best hosts one could meet. The best part is that he is the perfect person to guide you about your trekking tour. If you are visiting Jibhi, Eaglet is the place one should be staying at! Cheers guys

Went to Tirthan Valley for a 3 nights trip. Had great experience for the first 2 nights stay at ANAND Resort and after checkin out from this hotel and checking on at OFFBEAT ABODES the nightmare begins. As we have not prebooked this hotel in advance so we knew we might have to pay a little extra to get the rooms and we were all totally ready for it. While checking there room rates we were impressed by the staff as they were so supported that it seems that they will go extra mile for a pleasant stay considering we were the only guest for that day there. Once agreed to finally stay for a night there, we checked in in a beautiful room overlooking the Tirthan River, room was very cozy, Room heater was provided. We decided to sit next to the Bonfire at night n that's where we started to realize about there hidden charges, awful service & pathetic expensive food. Staff ada***t to pay INR 500 for Bonfire which no other resort charged in that location considering there per room prices are quite expensive comparing to any other resort in that location. Agreed to pay INR 500 as it was not a big deal and we just wanted to have some good time at night. Another Shocker came when none of the staff member knew how to BONFIRE as they came up with small wooden logs and when its all fired up it was all SMOKE that we got rather than some heat. Seated as far as possible to avoid smoke before taking thing in our own had ask the guy to get some Big logs so as to reduce some smoke, he initially denied and asked to speak to the owner who was fortunately there and told his staff to get us the stuff we wanted. We finally started enjoying a good Bonfire pleasure (for around 30 minutes) before the staff told us that we need to order our dinner now or else we have to sleep empty stomach. SERIOUSLY, that was rude and were so pissed but keeping our minds all calm we agreed and went to the dinning are to order food. Staff can serve you any dish just order it but they all taste same AWWFULL. Chicken curry was sweet and cost INR 600, Chapati was like PURI and cost INR 30, RICE quantity was like a spoon bite and cost INR 200. Price was never a concern for us but we strive for quality but unfortunate for us that neither get quality nor quantity. We some how had our food (Thank god we were High or else it would have been impossible to even smell that sh**). Next day while check in out, we were been told that they had Aalo puri for breakfast. Thank full we were not high nether stoned and asked the staff to make us some Omelette Bread as this has been informed to us at the time of check in but the staff now refused and started arguing that this was never committed. After some argument staff decided to make Bread butter but there attitude was like they were favoring us by making what we asked for and that.s where we decided we better eat outside as they might have served us with poison to get rid of us. After check in out we stopped at a near by shop where an uncle & aunty

What a beautiful hotel ! Never have we received such a warm welcome at a hotel before. And we have stayed in ***y. The staff are just wonderful, especially Jaiss. It was such a pleasure to see a young wo*** working the front desk. She was so warm and friendly. More women should be employed by hotels to cater for the needs of female travellers. Jaiss is definitely an asset to this hotel, as are the wait staff in the beautifully appointed dining room .The young waiters are still in the learning stages but are doing very well. The food was delicious. The rooms are so very well appointed and the view up the valley to the snow covered mountains is superb. The only thing amiss in this great hotel is a uniform. Each member of staff should be dressed in a uniform, nothing expensive, and once that is undertaken then this hotel would be perfect. We have no hesitation in recommending this fabulous establishment.
