I had a best stay here. only 2 minutes to Shinjuku station. 2 minutes to all the big shops and restaurants in Shinjuku. Once you arrived, you will need to take off your shoes, use the sandals given. Put the shoes on the small lockers in the lobby, take the keys, give it to the reception upon check in. They will provide pajamas in the lobby, and you need to use it during your whole stay when you are in hotel premises. And change back to your clothes, and ask for the shoes locker key whenever you want to go out. Put all your belongings include suitcases at the locker, and go to your capsule. Pros : very clean, good service, 24 hours good onsen, 24 hours lounge where you can get delicious miso soup, so many kinds of soft drinks, tea, coffee, beers, and even red and white wine. D*mn. Not to mention thousands of mangas available. Free massage chair, smoking area available in each floor, comfortable beds. TV is available in each capsule. Cons : English skills of the staffs need improvement. Will be back!

We always stayed at this place (yearly visit Tokyo). The location is way more than superb! Just less than 5 minutes walk to Shinjuku Station & New Man supermall. About 10 minutes to central Shinjuku where you can find so many restaurants, cafe, shopping, bars etc. (convenient shops such as 7-11, Family Mart are just 2 minutes walking) Also after a long walk or wandering around all day, this place is the best to just take few steps right from the station to rest at night. The staffs here are very friendly. The place is so artistic & well designed/decorated. Cozy room with private bathroom & lovely amendities.

We needed accommodation over a public holiday weekend and I found this “Business Hotel” via trip advisor. Most hotels that weekend was at least USD100 and above. Business Hotel Sagami was going for USD55 a night and in the middle of Shinjuku! Should’ve been a red flag, but I thought it could probably be a good deal as all my friends who’ve been to Japan told me that there aren’t any bad hotels in Japan (they were so wrong). I tried to do my due diligence... There weren’t many reviews but a good number of it on trip advisor seemed to suggest that this place was convenient and a frills free hotel. Nobody complained about anything else except that it was a little bit dated. I was convinced and booked it for 3 nights. When we first arrived on the first night at around 9pm, there was nobody at the reception. The whole area was dark and scary. We shouted to the empty corridor to no avail. So we sat and waited a while. About 15mins later, an old elderly man came in and he gave us our room key on the 2nd floor. He explained that shower rooms were on level 1. There was also no lift so we carried our luggage up one level. Our room was right at the end of the level 2 corridor where the light was blown so it was dark and further scarier. We stepped into our tiniest little room with a bunk bed on tatami. The bunk bed was laid with the thinnest foam ever and topped with a futon. We took the futon from the top bunk and huddled both together at the bottom. When we did that, we noticed that the top bunk bed was very dirty with hairs and dust... we tried to look forward to a good bath to forget these bad images. That’s when the husband asked me, “do they provide towels?!” I got a shock, as indeed, there weren’t any towels in the room. We decided that we shall ask the old man on the way to the bathroom. But as every good story goes, he wasn’t there. When we reached the bathroom, we noticed a pile of towels of various sizes and colours haphazardly placed. We wondered if that was for use. At that time, 2 Japanese teenagers came by and took a towel each from that pile. They said “dai jou bu desu (it’s alright), itadakimasu (help yourself)”. We took one each too. Instead of waiting for the boys to be done. The husband decided that, since it’s late - 12am, we shall both use the ladies bathroom and lock the doors. The ladies bathroom has no tub. Only showers. Not that we’re anymore keen to use a tub. Also, there is no place to place your soaps and all, we placed it on the window ledge. I supposed they do provide shampoo and soap but we have no idea where and how. Thank goodness we brought our own. With that, we survived 3 night. Honestly, if not for the fact that the husband and I would like to sleep in the same room, a capsule hotel would’ve been much much better.

Located near the JR Shinjuku station. Airport limousine can arrived the hotel's ground floor, but not for early arrival flights. Breakfast is good. There are varouis choices, Japanese and Western food and beverages. Staff are nice and can communicate in English. I booked a non-smoking single room. However, upon arrival in the room, it smells like someone was smokomg there before. So I called the front desk and asked that whether I booked a smoking or non-smoling room. Fortunately it should be non-smoking. The staff in the front desk immediately sent someone to check for me and he confirmed that it is smelly too. Actually he had another room key with him for just in case. Finally I was able to change to another room. Since I have asthma, changing the room is very important to me. Thanks for their help.

Location is perfect, in the heart of shopping district Shinjuku. It's also walking distance from Shinjuku station. Economy double room is very small for two people. The plus point is the Airport Limousine Bus counter is just right at the hotel lobby and the hotel is one of the stop for the airport limousine. Overall is very good. Will come back here again if we travel to Tokyo.

Good location. Close to Shinjuku station and Toyota Car Rental. Can take the Airport Limousine Bus to and from Narita or Haneda Airport around the corner at the Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku Hotel. A few nice diners and chemists in proximity. Very popular place and a little bit worn out. Small rooms small beds. The twin bed rooms have only twin single 3-1/2 feet bed. Its not even semi-double. Can't share bed with a young children at all.

Temporarily decided to go to Tokyo for a weekend birthday, and the air tickets are not cheap, so I just want to find a cheap place to live. Seeing the score here is not too expensive. I said in the morning that I left the hotel at the airport, and it was confirmed soon, great! The location is good and quiet. It was a ten-minute walk from Shinjuku Station. We just have a small boarding case, so it's very light. The clerk is very good in English and has no problem at all. Free freshly ground coffee is also available in the lobby, which is really good for those who want to have a cup from time to time. The room is not big but enough, anyway, just come back to sleep at night. There are windows and the light is okay, so I won't feel particularly aggrieved. The bathroom supplies are pola. The hand lotion is very comfortable and can also be used as a cleanser. I just forgot to bring a cleanser and I was too lazy to buy it (because there are too many at home). I use it every day and I feel very good. I ate around before and after going out, both Japanese and Western food. We said at noon that we ate casually, and we went directly into the osmanthus ramen next door. We found that it was still an old shop. Isetan is within easy reach when walking to Shinjuku shopping district. We prefer small shops and beams are dying. It is also near the cinema. All in all quite convenient. Service was good and clean. Recommended for friends who don't care much about room size.

The location was great - the hotel was surrounded by shops and within walking distance to the Shinjuku station as well as to other key buildings such as the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. We took a couple of day and overnight tours, and all the meeting places in Shinjuku were within 5-10 mins' walking distance from the hotel. The staff were helpful in giving directions and we were able to store our luggage at the hotel when we went on an overnight trip out of Tokyo as we returned the next night. The triple room was spacious with super single beds. All toiletries (toothbrushes with toothpaste, towels, hairbrush, shavers and shaving cream, etc) were provided. They also provided pyjamas which were quite comfortable. Finally, there was a charged mobile phone in the room which guests could take with them during the day (although we didn't do that because we had our own phones and portable wifi).

My boy friend and I stayed 3 nights in the hotel in early December. The location of the hotel is great which is around 10 mins walk to west Shinjuku station which can go to places like Shibuya, Hara-juku, Ikebukuro and Kichijōji within 15-30mins. Also, the hotel offered express airport buses from Shinjuku station to Narita and Haneda airport at their tourist service counter. Another surprising offer is the 500-yen-cash coupons for the cafe and restaurant inside the hotel if no room cleansing needed each day. The hotel is inside a shopping mall called Seibu Pepe with Zoft , can-do , Muji and some food shops. Overall, I think the hotel environment is good, tidy and clean but the room we have is a bit small.

One word! AMAZING! I’m in love with capsule hotels now! Sounds kinda strange but it reminded me of staying in the dorms in college but with amazing amenities lol! Awesome location and extremely clean! The staff was amazing and so friendly and helpful! If I had known my trip to Mount Fuji would have been cancelled due to the anticipated typhoon I would would have stayed here longer. I was completely ok with the check in and check out procedure because it made me go out an sightsee which was fun. I didn’t take pictures of the amenities because well umm... guys were in robes and in the shower and jacuzzi area no clothes were allowed lol! But it was amazing! Maybe not for a long term stay but a few days? Wow such an amazing choice!

If you loves omakase breakfast at Toyosu market, shopping at Venus Fort, Diver City, Aqua City, visiting the TeamLab Borderless and TeamLab Planets, and hot-spring at Ooedo Onsen, that's the perfect location. Even gives you quick access to Disney resort and Haneda Airport! Small rooms as usual but the one with twin double beds is excellent for parents with two young children. The only downside is no car-rental nearby.

Check in was a breeze, efficient and high tech. Godzilla head is an interesting feature of the hotel (esp. for fans), and location is great, right in the middle of the happening area. room size is good, can even be bigger if the toilet is joined with the bathing area. can bring the 2 single beds together to form a large bed.

Suidobashi/Tokyo Dome
Their service is nothing short of excellent. They have staff who are fluent in English (and other languages as well, I suspect). Me and my friend came thinking that we would be staying in a Single Room with Extra Bed since that was what we booked as we attempted to be more economic. However, to our pleasant surprise, our room was upgraded to a much much bigger room for free. We are very thankful to the helpful staff for making our stay pleasant and extremely comfortable. The location is great as it in located somewhere in between Iidabashi and Suidobashi which is pretty much close to the geographical center of Tokyo. Head east you will be able to visit Akihabara and Asakusa quick. Head west, you will be able to hit Shinjuku, Harajuku, and Shibuya. The neighbourhood is fairly quiet and the Tokyo Dome is just a 10-15 minute stroll away. If I am coming back to visit Japan, this hotel will be a clear top choice for me. Haven't had the opportunity to have the breakfast at this hotel, but I will certainly try it out on my next stay here.

Shinjuku
Great location. Nice places to eat all around. And a market with Sega machines and video games. Lots of convenience stores and cafes. 7 Eleven, Lawson, etc. We are vegetarian and found an authentic Indian restaurant on way to station from hotel. Hotel has shops and restaurants on Ground Floor (called 1F) ie. Family Mart - great for instant food packs etc VERY difficult to locate Reception/ Check-in Counter. Come to the THIRD Floor (3F) and you'll find it! Very secure. Use your hotel key in the lift to go up to your floor. Very small rooms at the hotel - Take one with TWO SINGLE BEDS - then bed size is very decent for 100 kilo women!! Rooms have TV, lots of ports to charge phones etc. Fridge. Electric kettle. Bathrobes. Slippers n shoe horn - See pictures... VERY LITTLE space for bags. Loos are amazing. Electronic pots etc. BEWARE - getting tub is very high - So buy a small ¥400 foldable footstool to step in and out - buy from shop called Daisu in underground passage to station. CARRY your own TEA (Chai) if you are used to it. Only green tea and coffee in room. No milk provided in the room either. So if you took the room with free breakfast, that's good - You can pick up milk and sugar sachets there. See instructions for coffee carefully. Its not simply a sachet. Water has to pass THROUGH it. Response to room service usually VERY prompt 5 restaurant choices for free breakfast (if you took that choice) of which 2 are American and can serve you vegetarian choices. See pictures attached for the Manhattan restaurant view! Very hearty breakfasts! 2 bottles of mineral water provided daily. All linen is changed daily, EXCEPT for bedding. Most staff understand English - else use Google Translate. If you choose to reach this hotel from the airport via Shinkansen, reach Shinjuku JR station, ask where the cab stand is, expect to pay approx ¥650. If you choose to walk with luggage, then take a 4-wheel medium sized suitcase each at the most. 2 choices - walk straight out of South Exit and cross road just once 10 minutes later. OR use the underground path for easier movement of luggage, and walk about 15-20 minutes (if with luggage) towards Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building - plus may have to climb one small flight of stairs in final stretch.
