0.32km from Shogun Japanese SteakhouseWhen we arrive at the Hotel the reception staff asked are you checking in and asked for my passport, and gave us our room card. We where given a room on the third floor at the back of the premises facing the pool. On giving the room a check we found these problem, The safe did not work, nor did the room phone and the Kettle, I took the long walk from our room to the reception and complained to the staff, he go on the phone and reported them, he told me maintenance would be at the room soon. I had just got back to the room and he arrived, he checked what we had reported promptly fixed them, to our delight. Over the next couple of day we notice that the smoke detector did not have a battery and one of the lights was loose and we could not use it. Over all the hotel needs to be refurbished, I do under stand that this would cost a lots of $'s , the best about the rooms they where cleaned every day that we where there and it was nice to return to a clean room, thanks to the Maids that cleaned there. Advise for the manager, Make sure that everything in the rooms is in full working order from the Safe, Lighting (Lamps socket not powering 3 or more items) and the room is well presented. so that your guest will not be able to complain and enjoy there stay. I have been to Orlando and stayed on International drive 5 times in the last 6 years, and reviewed all the hotels, I am very easy going and use the room for drinks something to eat and relax after a full day at the parks. not much to ask but when you have to pay to get there from the UK it can be very costly and this is why I like a nice,neat and clean room that are comfortable to stay in.
