6.1km from downtownThe room was small, the suitcases could only be placed at the door after putting down a bed, but the bathroom was not crowded, and there was no problem living alone for a day or two.
Long time from NUS, there are 7-11 and restaurants downstairs, eating is more convenient, the room is located on the small road, relatively quiet, Chinese service.

6.12km from downtownThank to you to Firdaus, Mariam and Zuraidah ( not sure whether I got the name right) for making my 1 week work-stay trip very pleasant. They are the nicest front desk people that I’ve met and ensure my request are being met. Thank you Firdaus for arranging me to a better room for my prayer necessity upon check in. Your help is greatly appreciated by me and husband.
Thanks a lot once again everybody. Ibis should be blessed to have you people serving the customers with all the helpful thoughts.
8.57km from downtownThe Glamping @ Bukit Timah HorseCity is one of the newest hotels in Singapore, having opened in 2021. Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 12km from Woodlands Train Checkpoint and 22km from Singapore Changi Airport. In addition, Sixth Avenue Metro Station is just a short walk away. The nearby area boasts an abundance of attractions including Fidgets, Bukit Timah Saddle Club and Ikeda Spa. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing.
8.46km from downtownThe four of us stayed here on our visit to singapore. The front desk lady charged or room deposit instead of merely taking a credit card number to charge later in case of damages (this was against policy I discovered later). We stayed in a room with a queen bed and two bunk beds, ensuite bathroom, plus a small balcony. The room was clean and comfortable - all features functioned properly. The location is far from the main areas of the city and on the other side of singapore from the airport. A subway station is about 10-15 minutes walk away. A bus stop is directly in front of the guesthouse. It's a solid 30 minute trip away from little india or little china. Being a hostel we had concerns about noise at night but were not bothered by any. We did not utilize the breakfast option but did eat at the restaurant across the street and found it acceptable. On checkout I found that they could not refund the deposit. After working with the manager over the next several days she refunded the deposit to me via paypal instead of a credit to my original card. That was not desirable at all, but was the best she said she could do. On the whole this was a nice stay, I only advise you to be cautious about your room deposit.
10.51km from downtown1. The luxurious set, the room is antique, the style of Southeast Asia is strong, the height is high, the bed is very beautiful, and there is a sofa. The bathroom thief is large, there are two faucets, and the two people do not affect each other. 2. There is a cold water in the room with a copper pot. Boiled water can be piled together and drunk directly. Also delivered wine and fruit. 3. Breakfast is a long mountain road on the 2nd floor behind the villa, then in the restaurant on the top, go to the end of the small house and turn right, breakfast half outdoor and semi-open. There are not many things, but you can eat enough, porridge is not bad, bread can be grilled and then eaten. Each person can also order a free meal according to the menu. 4. From the labrador park subway station at night, walk downstairs to the villa, very beautiful and quiet. 5. The younger brother at the front desk can speak Chinese, but a little bit can do it. The service is in place and very welcoming. 6. If you are cheaper next time, go live. Hahaha! ! !
11.73km from downtownThe service was impeccable.
My husband and I arent aware that during Covid, all hotels with attached balconies have to be locked.
The main reason for our stay is to stargaze and catch the moon that at that particular night.
It was upsetting and it was beyond anyones control due to the circumstances, however the Indian Lady that served us, managed to upgrade and swap our rooms.
The room we got exceeded our expectations, we were still able to do what we wanted.
And it was the highlight of my birthday as well.
All in all we had a great experience, the rooms were well maintained, service is amazing and will come back again! (Hopefully next time round we are able to use the balcony!)
11.82km from downtownBooked the pool view room for my birthday. Came with my husband and 2 kids. We really enjoyed the stay. The room are spacious. Bed and pillow are comfy. Got to hang out at thw balcony. Spacious bath tub for the kids. We enjoyed splashzone and Buds! Really a destination in itself. Worth every dollar. We booked last minute but its still affordable after $100 srv. The breakfast was sent to our room which save us the hassle from going down. We opted for nasi lemak and it was nice. We were served by Mr Arif during check in. Excellent service! During check out, a lady did oir checkout and she aplogizes for the room that we ready late. We were ok with it because we came during peak period. Kinda expect tt. But she was very nice. Thank u for the awesome stay
11.84km from downtownThe stay was one of the best that I have (compared to other hotels that I had been to for staycay)!!!
Staff are polite, greetings were given quite often
Early check in of about 2+ hours were granted (as its for my husband birthday), room came prepared with a small complimentary birthday cake, handwritten well wishes card and a bunch of tied balloons.
24hrs signature butler service was wonderful too, despite the wait is around 35mins to an hour for the request of serving the hot drink & prepare the bathtub.
Room is clean and spacious, just that some portion of the deco abit dated...
The control panel at bedside for those lights was having some slight issue of unable to press fully to perform what the light suppose to be on and blackout curtains at the corner doesnt close fully, but it doesnt bother me alot so I didnt call for service to check it...but one of the not so pleasant part that woke us up in the middle of the night was that the bedside phone auto sound out "hands-free" kind of dial tone...
Breakfast portion, wish that there are more free flow varieties or having the choice of 2 mains to 1pax instead of 1 main (but the main can portion abit lesser if 2 mains were given)
I did had 3 course dinner included in my pakcage too, but my appetisers & steak main are topped up for. Taste and portion are decent too!
Overall is a good stay, will definitely stay again if there's a chance. :)
12.17km from downtownOur recent stay at Hilton Singapore was superb. Thanks to the flash Sales from Trip.com , we only pay for S$100/ night for a king size bed deluxe room , value for money. The location is great and within
walking distance to All attractions along Orchard Road 😍 Love the stay and highly recommended!
12.63km from downtownThe lighting is great, the bed is really comfortable, and you can rest well at night. Very satisfied, the decoration and design of the room feels very good. This location is too convenient. It is about 7 minutes walk from Metro Line 5 to ensure that all major attractions can be reached. A quiet and beautiful time is the travel attitude I want. It is very interesting here! To sum up, it is worth the money.
Hotels Near Sin Soon Huat In Singapore Review
I booked this place on a long layover in Singapore, and this place is so cool! Now, the showers and amenities are pretty much like most hostels (nothing special, but more than adequate), but the pod itself was actually quite nice! Inside feels very futuristic, and it comes with your own power outlets and a/c. Bedding and pillow were soft, and the Chinatown location is a plus!
The hotel is located in a good location. There are many food centers around. If you want to do something for yourself, there are supermarkets and food markets. It is very convenient to buy things. It is also close to the subway. The hotel is very clean, and the public bathrooms are also cleaned. There are two floors with ladies-only bathrooms. Because of the special period, there are few people staying in the store, so it is not crowded.
Everything here is perfect!
We booked it for a mini-moon right after our solemnisation and was greeted with warmth and surprises! They surprised us a bottle of champagne and a cake for the night!
The service crews were super friendly, thoughtful and always with a smile on! Everybody here was really attentive and the service provide were very guest focused.
The breakfast served was delicious and hearty. We were also served with evening cocktails that comes with light bites and unlimited cocktails to taste! The in room dining we ordered was great too! We could dine at the balcony and it was really romantic.
The overall environment here is serene and pleasant that allows you to recharge and relax. It made us felt like we are overseas in a resort.
A big shoutout and thank you to everyone at The Barracks Hotel for making our mini moon memorable and for all the warmth and hospitality during our stay here.
We love it and definitely returning back again! 💜
The hotel is very clean and tidy. Staff are very firendly polite. The cafe Lodge in the hotel have alot of variety of foods. Asian/Western/foods. A lot of nice promotions foods. I have a take away breadfast is very good. Miss Erica working the cafe. She is very friendly and helpful person. In ordering my food for take away. I bought a box of mooncake from the cafe. Is very nice taste and have alots of flavour.. The room inthe hotel is spacious and clean. Nice vacation in Ywca stay. Thank 😊 to the staffs and management.
the front counter was patient and very kind towards us. the room however did not come with any bottled water which was depressing. the bed and shower was great! cleanliness can be improved
I've been to this hotel several times. The customer service is usually good. I extended my stay and moved to Cabin M. But I had a very unpleasant experience this time round with the live chat officer Claude. I understand that late check out is based on availability. But Claude was being unreasonable, telling me that the hotel is fully booked when the room I stayed in was still available on trip app. He also said there is no late check out on Sundays but I usually get complimentary check out atleast till 12.30 on my previous stays on a Sunday before. Extremely disappointing and thus I've to give 1 star for the service where I usually give a 5.
Always had a good stay at Conforto Hotel but this time round, it wasn't tat👍.. The tv was not working as it had no signal.. The bed was kinda noisy as i toss and turn.. The hotel should change the bed as it seems kinda fragile..
Miss the Chinese lady who used to work there.. She was very helpful whenever i asked to change room.
Very friendly staff, they will answer any questions you have and will greet you with a smile. The location is suitable, there is a bus stop located very close which is convenient. The breakfast is simple but some toast, cereal and coffee it good for me. The bathrooms are always clean, and there is always hot water. The rooms are clean with convenient storage. If traveling to Singapore by yourself specially for my ladies this is a good place to stay. Oh and there is an amazing ice cream shop close bya and may restaurants.
We booked the family room. It was really compact, but our kids were very happy cos they had to experience the bunk bed. They even refused to leave and cant wait to get back to the room cos they just love the bunk beds. However, if u are staying for a few days, it might get a bit uncomfortable and squeezy because the room is really too ‘cozy’.
We felt that the placement of the plugs were not strategic - they were very far from the main bes and in between the bunk beds, may not be safe as it is near kids and they may play with the plugs. It was hard to charge our phones while resting on our bed cos the plugs were too far… also no bedside table or shelf to put our phones or even remote control...
Table is the kids table so adults have to sit on the floor while eating with kids. Perhaps not so suitable for those who may not be able to sit on the floor for long periods or pregnant mums.
However, location is very very convenient. Food is just a few steps away and no worries about it. Parking was ok too, night parking was affordable - maybe try not to park too long if u are planning to drive here cos no complimentary parking. But we managed to get parking space in front of the hotel so that’s a bonus for us (although we had to make a few rounds for ppl to leave before securing a parking lot.
Due to being near a main road, it gets very noisy at night with cars speeding, so light sleepers may need to consider some ear plugs? Otherwise, bed is comfy but abit too high - not suitable for old folks or heavily pregnant women. :)
Overall, for a one night stay, we still enjoyed ourselves and enjoyed the hotel. Not much facilities, so it’s really more of a hotel to place things and then get out and explore sg.
I would still return back because it’s really a nice hotel, convenient and affordable! 👍🏻
Staff is very friendly too!
We’ve been to Arcadia plenty of times and always enjoyed our stay. This time around we got a room on the 1st floor. It was bigger than other rooms of its kind. We were worried there might be more sound disturbances on the lower levels but were pleasantly surprised not to encounter any such issues. As usual, service staff were prompt, pleasant and very friendly.

The price is cheap, the location is good, the transportation is more convenient, there are a lot of food around, there are supermarkets, business travel is still a good choice, mainly economic.
Very good, this price is very good.
Supera cosy and spacious hotel location can be better but still manageable walking distance around 500m to ION and other shopping Center it’s like at the corner of orchard to the malls. Staff accommodating and hope to have more cheap offers from the hotel

Since Ritz Carlton is such an iconic hotel in Singapore, we love to spend our staycation here. Booked 2 rooms but were not allocated on the same floor. The room is well-maintained and the swimming pool/jacuzzi experience is very relaxing though our stay was during public holiday. Swimming pool is 90-min slot. One can also walk into the spa to enjoy the jacuzzi.
Only book room without breakfast as we want to explore the Millenia Walk/Marina Square are with plenty of food options.
Of course, must bring bath bomb to enjoy the bath tub experience with the view of Singapore skyline.
Good choice for overnight stay. Location is excellent for bus traveler but far away from MRT. Famous chicken rice and rice dumpling nearby. Cleanliness ok but could find previous tenants' hair easily on corner and floor. Toilet/bathroom is small and tv has bad channel signal. Overall, overall above standard.
No window, no air conditioning, no smell in the room, no elevator, this time living on the 4th floor, you need to climb the stairs. The room is small but full of five organs. It is located in the middle of two big roads. There are bus stops on both sides. You can walk from Aljunied Station. There are 7-11 shops on the left hand side of Exit A of Aljunied Station. You can buy 100G with your passport. The M1 (12 SGD) calling card, next to a small food center, tastes great. The young lady at the front desk is kind and Chinese can pass.
Place was huge and clean! Bed was very comfortable. Thought the garden would be big but it’s enough for 2 people. Staffs were nice and polite. There was overcrowding during check-in but front desk staffs were organised and managed the crowd well. Thank you for the pleasant service! ✨
Simple yet clean.
More to improve such as having a set of clothes hook in bathroom and the right wardrobe cabinet door when open, it will hit on the bathroom light switch (maybe having a stopper may help) which makes electric arcing sounds in the switch.
During this pandemic, a quite abit of reluctant on using the cups provided in the room. Eventually i used it after washing it with boiling water before making coffee. Maybe foam disposable cup could be a good suggestion.
Guest of Room 608
We used to be regular guest to this hotel when it was still under the management of the previous owner. We go there regularly on weekend because of its good location, good service friendly staffs, clean and reasonable comfort provided. This is the first time we check into the hotel under new the management.
We look forwards to a good new experience under the new management.
Unfortunately, we were both very disappointed due to the following reasons which I personally thing the management to look into.
1. The mattress is very uncomfortable as we can feel the spring the moment we lay on it. The previous mattress was alot better.
2. There's cleanliness issue as there's small cockroach
found in the room.
3. The room water heaters water is not hot at all. We informed the staffs and changed to another room but still there isn't any different. We ended up having to take cold shower at night.
We sincerely hope the new management can look into it.
Hotel is walkable from bus stop, nearby has a lot of coffee shops and namely 2 cafes (Chye Seng Huat Hardware + Wimbly Lu)— has a lot of food choices! Hotel room was cosy, limited 5 tv channels (5 in total), shower heater was hot and adequate at first and after a while became barely lukewarm. Hotel provides hairdryer upon request, provides free minibar and a good late checkout at 1pm.. just that it has renovation on a Sunday.. without pre-informing us. Overall still ok but we don’t think we will come back to stay again
location ok 10 mins walk from bugis mrt. room quite small and toilet abit dirty. receptionist is working hour so aft that cnt find anyone to talk to / ask for things. need download app to check in check out abit hassle. book one night to staycay w frens ok
Good location with MRT, bus, food, guan yin temple. 2 small water bottle FOC daily. Chinese counter staff friendly. Good room clean.
They charge SGD10 per hour for early check out, and make sure you check out on time 12pm else min SGD25 for 2 hours. They will call to your room at 12.00pm AND 12.10pm to make sure either you pay another SGD25 or check out. Their cleaning staff will sit in front of the stairs and wait for you to come out so they can do their job. 4th floor climbing stairs every in and out, no elevator no escalator. Bathroom very small. Water outlet very small. One of the plug is spoil, cannot be used.
Will not come again. Not recommended. Near many hotel. Can try other hotel nearby.
The lighting is great, the bed is really comfortable, and you can rest well at night. Very satisfied, the decoration and design of the room feels very good. This location is too convenient. Location was great, there are many restaurants around the area. Staff were friendly and helpful when we asked for more glasses and ice!
Very good location with alot of yummy food around. Only bad point was the area below the table for workdesk not clean up properly and at times can see ants crawling around the room. N some rooms have disney channels in the king room while some dont so its totally by luck.
Good service provided by the staffs there and all were very friendly.
Check in was a breeze and I loved that the access way into Bugis Junction is kept open. Enjoyed the meal at Chikuyotei and the additional 10% off given to hotel guests. Was promised an anniversary gift by the reservations department but none turned up. Online photos shows the rooms having a nespresso machine but turns out they were only found in the expensive rooms. Disappointing but did not let it bother us too much.
My only gripe during my stay is that the air con in the hotel is weak. The curtains were drawn and the toilet door was closed and yet the cooling temperature was nowhere to be felt. Ihad it set at the lowest temperature and yet was perspiring. I called up the front desk to send maintenance while I was out of my room, not sure if they came. I returned after and the air con felt cooler or maybe because it was night time. Perhaps Intercontinental Singapore is one of those hotels with a thermostat for show and the guests don't have any real control.

Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Location is convenient to nearby eateries, convenience store, bus stop and ZhongShan Mall. Room is considered quite spacious with basic budget hotel. But however , the toilet basin and toilet bowl were quite stink though.. Only this need to be improved.
