|5.81km from city centerLovely pension, great place to relax after a day of skiing. Private rooms, shared bathroom, very warm, inviting, relaxed atmosphere. Don't expect a hotel, but more of a community atmosphere. Breakfast included, free internet available on-site. The hearty breakfasts served at 8AM generally filled us up enough to only stop for light lunches during the day. Yama-san also gives a daily snow report each morning during breakfast, and also gave us a great recommendation for a spot to check out on Annupuri to catch some good scenery, even though the days we were visiting didn't get much fresh powder. We also enjoyed the dinner one evening (Yama-san operates a Nepali restaurant for a few hours in the early evening, its worth stopping by if you enjoy whats on the menu). There is a nice onsen just down the road (walking distance), ask about a discount - in general, Yama-san will help you find whatever it is you're looking for in Niseko, including transportation in the mornings to Annupuri. Parking is available on-site as well. Note that this property is not suitable for children, but great for friends, couples, or solo travelers.

|4.32km from city centerBeautiful property nestled on the side of the mountain in the Niseko Village area, giving off the feel of a boutique hotel. The hotel offered ski in and ski out with an in-house equipment rental and huge ski lockers. Full length windows that connect from the lobby lounge to the restaurant show an amazing mountain side view of Yotei with the snow in the winter. The check in lobby is nicely decorated with a fireplace and lounge chairs for guests to hang out, with a small bar that leads into the restaurant. There is only one restaurant on-site that’s comprised of a western style menu with a sushi bar. The food here is ridiculously expensive, $2000 yen for just a order of French fries. If you compare to the Park Hyatt across town, the food costs at least 50% more. The rooms though are great and it’s the biggest reason to come back here. They are nicely anointed in a modern and sophisticated decor, in addition the bathtub overlooking the snow is worth every penny after coming back from a day on the slopes. They also fill the mini fridge with drinks and alcohol that gets refilled everyday, this is a very enticing value add. If you have never stayed in Niseko Village, make sure to note that it is quite far from the main Hirafu town. There are not many dining options in the Niseko village area, so you have to plan to go to Hirafu to eat. There are 3 ways to get there, very expensive taxis (about $3500 yen each way), hotel offers a shuttle bus that runs once an hour, or have a rental car. But beware the last shuttle bus back to the hotel is quite early, 9:35pm was the latest during peak winter but changed to 8:50 after mid-February. That doesn’t give you much time to eat and walk back to the bus stop if you plan to have a nice dinner in town. But as other reviews out there have talked about, the service is just not up to par for a Ritz. Since it was our first time staying here I called ahead and then followed up in email on our plans. I made sure that the hotel was able to send a car to pick us and our luggage up from the airport shuttle bus stop. I even checked with the front desk to see which bus stop we should get off at and planned accordingly. But even though I had contacted them through email and also double checked on our day of arrival by phone at 10 AM that we will be picked up as soon as we arrive, there was nobody waiting for us when we got to the drop off. After a few mins I saw the shuttle from Ritz stop in front of me and I proceeded to check with the driver that he was there for us. This guy with a nose ring was so rude that he wouldn’t even lower the window to talk to me, just made an X with his arms twice and drove away. At this point I had to call the hotel to see what’s going on, the front desk now knows nothing about picking us up because nobody scheduled it, so we ended up having to stand there for another 20 mins for the same guy with the same car earlier to pick us up, when he opened the door he was on the phone arranging to hang ou

|4.56km from city centerThis place is really beautiful. The single-family villa is really comfortable compared to other hotels in Niseko. The kitchen utensils are very complete. I bought seafood and meat and cooked my own food in the evening.
The pick-up and drop-off appointments we made with the housekeeper were all on time and very polite.
The heater in the room is really warm. I want to know what brand it is 🤣
When I woke up in the morning, it was covered with powdery snow. It was really beautiful.
The hotel has a free shuttle bus to Annupuri. The Annupuri ski resort is also good, suitable for novices, and also has advanced trails.

|4.24km from city centerI came here on a solo trip as the last leg of a 17 day trip in Hokkaido. Starting with the lodge itself, the building is a cute standard lodge with 3 floors, the base floor has rooms, the ski equipment room, 2 shower rooms, and laundry machine. The main floor has the front desk, water closets, a dining room, staff kitchen and a wood burning stove. The top floor has more rooms and common areas with couches. There is a breakfast buffet for 1800 yen that you can add on to your stay which I recommend because it is a nice hearty western breakfast- great before the slopes and the lodge is quite far from restaurants without a car. While I was there, breakfast consisted of sausages, bacon, eggs, shimeji mushrooms, hot cakes, bread, muffins, various cereals and yogurt. If you are concerned about speaking Japanese, almost all the staff were international and spoke English. The staff were super friendly and all did different things for the lodge. Some cooked breakfast, built the fire, shoveled snow, taught snowboarding, tidied the lodge, etc. A team of jack of all trades, impressive group of friendly people. My last day there, I wanted to get some refresher courses on snowboarding. It was last minute but the staff was super accommodating on trying to help find what I needed. One staffer, Joel called around to see who was available, and Carmen, one of the instructors agreed to take me, even though it was her day off. I have not been on a snowboard since before the pandemic so I was really rusty. I told Carmen everything I was struggling with and she was understanding on what I needed help with. I did go early season, so there wasn't a lot of snow but Carmen took me to Annupuri and we ended up snowboarding almost the entire day. She gave me pointers on what I was doing, and took videos of me so I can review them for further study. I was pretty shaky on the board initially, but by the end of the day, I was able to turn better and had less wipe outs. Carmen also took me back to drop off my rentals and took me back to the lodge. The lodge also has great vibes, largely in part to the staff. I enjoyed talking to the people worked there, but also enjoyed talking to the guests I met there from Singapore and Australia. The location of the lodge is a little far off from the slopes and does require taking the shuttle buses which stop at 5pm. The lodge is also in a fairly remote location, so meal planning is a must. There is a dairy farm that is a 9 minute walk away with a wonderful pizza shop, western restaurant, bakery/ ice cream shop, and a chocolate shop. All of these close around 5:30pm, and keep in mind, the buses stop running at 5pm. There are food delivery and pick-up offerings though- as in, you call the restaurant to come pick you up to dine at their restaurant. So besides lack of food options, this place was a fun place to stay at.

|4.68km from city centerService is the worst among all Hilton hotels i visited. Not enough staff and most of them are either inexperienced or not trained! An experienced ones are not welcoming at all and just talking among themselves on the concierge desk. Shuttle bus also delayed and not showed up according to the schedule provided. Room is old and TV channels are all domestic ones only. Restaurants don’t have proper wine menu and staff have no knowledge about wine /sake.
Good thing is the location, next to ski slopes and niseko village.

|7.02km from city centerWe had a lovely ski holiday staying at One Niseko Towers. Here is what we thought about the hotel. 1) Good access to both Moiwa and Annupuri resorts Moiwa is walking distance away (walk to – ski back) and there are regular free shuttle bus services to Annupuri. I would say it is a little bit far to Hirafu and as someone else said, the shuttle bus to Hirafu gets you in a bit late. We have trouble choosing which of the resorts are our favourite: Moiwa is so quiet it is almost like a private resort while Annupuri has wide sweeping pistes and the adorable Paradise Hut café! 2) Rooms were large and well equipped Four of us stayed in an apartment style room. By Japanese standards it is huge! The beds were comfortable (according to my husband, who is very fussy about mattresses and pillows) and there is a kitchenette for cooking simple dinners. It is a Japanese style kitchen so there is no oven but a good hob and gigantic fridge. Pretty fast Wifi in the rooms too. They will properly clean your room once during a week with daily cleaning being minimal (bed making, towel changes and rubbish removal) though this was not an issue for us as we spent most of the day outdoors. The rooms were quiet too and we were lucky enough to get a 10th floor room with beautiful views over the forests. 3) Onsen baths for soothing the aching muscles The onsen is one of the best features in our family's opinion! Some family members would visit twice a day…. There is a men's and a women's onsen which both have indoor and outdoor baths. It is really nice sitting outside in a hot bath while looking at the snow. I would add that the onsen as well as a lot of the public spaces are decorated in a simple contemporary style. We liked the calming non-fussy stylish look. 4) Good breakfast and Tura We had a package including breakfast. There are choices of Japanese, Western and Chinese breakfast dishes all cooked well. My children would pile their trays high with croissant, miso soup, scrambled egg and fried chicken…? I think I saw reviews commenting on the quality of coffee but we found the espresso on the coffee machine pretty good. It is not artisanal flat white of course but we weren’t in Niseko for the coffee. There are capsule type coffee machines in the rooms too which were very much like nespresso. As someone else said, the Tura restaurant is highly recommended. It is a bit expensive so we only went once during our stay but we very much enjoyed the course menu. The standard of cooking is extremely high. For example, our favourite dishes were crispy pan friend oysters with oyster risotto and grilled Hokkaido pork with a Japanese sauce. When we visited Tura it was empty apart from us. Don’t let this put you off. It will be important to book a table and preferably specify what you will eat in advance so they are ready. We did not try the room service. 5) Friendly service Last but not least the service at One Niseko was wonderful. There are a lot of young non-Japanese pe

|4.43km from city centerThis hotel is not recommended if not by car. It is far from the main ski areas. But their service is nothing to say. The shuttle buses once an hour. The rooms are super clean, the scenery is nice, very quiet, good luck and you can see foxes. The staff are very patient and have questions and answers. I have a little problem in the itinerary. They all helped us book the car and pick us up. If I drive, I will definitely come back.

|4.55km from city centerWe (two couples) stayed in a 2-room apartment at Hinode Hills for 6 nights in early February, having booked it about 18 months earlier at the height of COVID. It was worth the wait - the service was excellent - both front of house and in the ski and boot room. The rooms and living area were huge and very well-appointed with some luxury touches, and we had fabulous views of Mt Yotei from the 5th floor (when she wasn't covered in cloud). Breakfast was good (though not great) and the onsen was a welcome retreat after a day on the slopes. Location-wise, the hotel is a bit out of the way in terms of dining and nightlife, but there are plenty of free (and paid) bus services to Hirafu, Annapuri, etc. either from out the front or just up the road at Green Leaf. If you want to stay out late you'll need to get a taxi back however. There is a covered ”magic carpet” out the back of the resort, from the top of which you can access the mountain and lifts. There is a track beside that allows you to ski board/down to the back door of the ski and boot room. Rather annoyingly, the Higashiyama gondola was not operating during our stay, which limited the number of runs you could access immediately from the hotel. Overall we loved our stay and would return in a flash.

|5.83km from city centerWe have just spent 3 nights at this fantastic friendly guesthouse. We arrived early (1030 am) after getting the bus from Sapporo - we were welcomed with a smile and an apology that our room wasn’t ready. We weren’t really expecting it to be until later in the day - however just 20 minutes later we were shown to our “Deer” room. A lovely comfy clean twin room. While waiting for our room to be prepared we filled in a form specifying what ski equipment we needed. In less than 30 mins there was a knock on the door - our ski’s and boots had arrived!! We bought a lift pass from the guesthouse too and were on the slopes (less than five minutes walk away) before 1200! We ate at the guesthouse on the first and last evening - food was fantastic, fresh local produce served with a smile. The guesthouse serves beer (draft and bottles) and has a decent wine list too. Each evening after dinner we were taken to a local onsen - the two we went to were amazing. The lounge/dining area is a lovely spot to chill out and chat to fellow guests. Massa and his team looked after us so well, nothing was a chore for them and it was fun spending time with his friends from Bangkok.

|6.79km from city centerThe hotel is located opposite the moiwa ski resort, 2 minutes walk from the other ski resorts, and there is a free bus transfer. There is a fixed bus stop at the entrance to the hotel. You can book a car with the hotel at a nearby hot spring or restaurant. It’s very convenient to come back later. The young ladies at the front desk will be in English, the communication is completely ok, there are special rooms and storage boxes for ski equipment, very intimate. The hotel and restaurant are not a boss, the restaurant is superb, the breakfast buffet is very rich, and it is completely low-fat, high-fiber and high-protein diet. Everyday dinner is eaten in the restaurant. If you love Western-style, you can not re-sample every day, recommend burgers and each The steaks, the friends who have visited the venison, also feel very good. In general, it is a hotel suitable for skiers. The price is low in the nearby hotel. The cleaning is very clean. Although it is a capsule hotel, the space is still quite large. It is not convenient, there is a washing machine. . All kinds of facilities are complete. Very recommended

|4.63km from city centerI stayed at Guesthouse Nalu for six weeks from january 16 until february 25th 2023. The place has a great communal living area with a good kitchen and amenities. The owner and her husband and children live in the same building on the opposite site and they are very friendly and helpful. There are only six rooms but it is the best place to stay in Niseko if you don't want to spend a fortune but still want to be 3 minutes away from the best ski area Annupuri. It is absolutely value for money. Snowboarders and skiers from all over the world stay there. I will come back next year

|2.17km from city centerDave and his wife make Hotel Resort Inn such a lovely place. We've stayed at many hotels around the world but this one is the most special one for us. Here are the reasons why you should choose Hotel Resort Inn: 1) Clean and comfortable room: the rooms are kept spotless clean. 2) Private onsen: you can book the private onsen on the 2nd floor in advance. It is such a treat after a day of skiing. 3) Access to ski resorts: Dave drive you to different ski resorts every morning at 9am. Dave will drop you at the most convenient places so that you can buy lift pass or get on the gondola quickly. Unless you stayed at a ski-in and ski-out hotel in Niseko, you will need to walk or take shuttle bus to the lifts anyway. We even managed to travel to Rusutsu for two days during our stay. The hotel is 3 minutes from a bus stop where you can take ~8:30 bus to Rusutsu (only 30 minutes ride). You can choose to take 15:15 bus or 17:15 bus to return and Dave can pick you up from the bus stop. 4) Ski rental: Dave will arrange ski rental at a nearby rental shop and the price is quite reasonable. 5) Meals: absolutely delicious buffet breakfast. If you want to eat dinner in Niseko Village, Dave will drive you to nearby restaurants. If you want to relax, you can order simple meals from Dave's wife and relax in the common area in the hotel. 6) Hospitality: this is like a home away from home. Dave and his wife worked so hard to make sure all guests have the best ski holiday. We cannot wait to come back for the next ski holiday.

|7.04km from city centerThis is in a quiet forest about 10 minutes drive from Niseko Station. I think the basic part of the hotel is old, but it has been renewed in a modern style. When you enter the hotel, is it a forest? Check-in was normal due to the scent of. I stayed in a deluxe Japanese-Western style room, but the room was large and spacious, and I slept well on tatami mats. The water of Mt. yotei was delicious. You can walk in a yukata in the hall, and go to the dinner venue Supper was a half buffet, and the contents were sashimi, ceramic plate dishes, meat or fish grilled dishes, and others were buffets. All were usually delicious and there were many types of buffets. At the entrance of the hotel, I enjoyed live performances by piano and violin for about 1 hour and 20 minutes at 19:30 ~. The hot springs smell a little sulfur and usually have an indoor bath, an open-air bath, a sauna, and a cold bath (men and women change at 22:00 at night). Also, the breakfast buffet has a lot of Japanese and Western side dishes and is full. did. Overall, it was a quiet, relaxing, delicious, and comfortable hotel with live performances.

|4.75km from city centerI have been staying at the Green Leaf off and on for over 10 years. It is an excellent location for ski-in, ski-out, but unfortunately the hotel services have gone downhill. I had two rooms, and the Wi-Fi never worked in either room or the routers could not be fixed. Limited Wi-Fi was obtained by using a neighboring room. The room radiators which was convenient for drying gloves and ski clothes, I was informed, have been permanently turned off. Most disappointing of all is the morning breakfast. My family and I had always looked forward to it, but it has continued to get more frugal and sparce every year and is now comparatively poor from what it was 10 years ago. The hotel is trying to save money in the wrong way. It is obvious that the entire setup is now being outsourced. The supervisor in charge is very nice and personable, and doing his best with what is available, but the food quality is very average, and even the personnel are no longer Japanese. There used to be a nice coffee station as you exited the buffet room. It is gone. Real cream for your coffee, gone. Nuts, grains, and raisins for yogurt, gone. Assorted cheese section, gone. Assorted multigrain breads, gone, and the general food quality has become cheap. The Goshiki Restaurant, from 2nd hand sources, all expressed their disappointment with this evening restaurant in the same way as the breakfast. If food is not a concern, then the Green Leaf will be fine for you. If food is important for a nice ski-in, ski-out vacation, then you might consider a neighboring hotel instead.

|6.24km from city centerNext to the ski lift, easy to go out and go in at your own pace. Bit crowded during day time after 10 am. It helps a lot with a locker provided for each guest to keep the equipment. The room was spacious and comfortable, perhaps the hotel to improve on the timing for room cleaning service, especially for guests staying more than a week and expecting the room to be clean when we are out. The hotel has its own mini-mart, which help you to get some junk food and accessory for skier/snowboarder - a bit pricey but it's expected in the Niseko area anyway. The other downside is the hotel location is far from other convenience stores and restaurants (affordable where u can easily access in Hirafu) so it makes you book a room with breakfast and dinner.

|6.13km from city centerI stayed in a plan with two meals, breakfast and dinner, in a larger room than usual. Originally the building of the hotel was quite old, but the room was well cleaned and I didn't feel uncomfortable. However, the bath and toilet in the room are a small unit bath, so it was a little difficult to use. For dinner, we didn't use high-end ingredients, but the adult meal was very delicious as it was properly prepared. However, it was disappointing that children's meals seemed to be ready-made frozen foods such as American dogs, hamburgers, and omelets. Since it's an affiliated inn of Bikkuri Donkey, I wanted something as delicious as a hamburger. The breakfast was extremely satisfying with a tremendous number of items and volume. I think it's worth staying just to eat this breakfast. Needless to say, the hot spring is a natural hot spring without any heating and water disinfection, and the open-air bath is also the best because it is managed at an appropriate temperature. This time, there were few visitors for a day trip, so I was able to enjoy it in a chartered state. From now on, I want you to continue to do business as it is now.

The cleanliness of the guest rooms and common space conveys seriousness and hardships ...

Since the curfew is from 22:00 to 6:00 the next morning, it is not a problem if it is a ski resort, but if it is used as the night before Mt. Natsuyama, it is worried that it cannot be reached from the morning.
