Excellent service from friendly staff. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were spacious. Pool area is lovely. A literal stone’s throw from the beach, with stop for the tourist train into Sitges on your doorstep. Breakfast is standard European style buffet. Rated 4 as the rest of the menu needs to be revisited. Lunch and dinner is the same menu, and some dishes lack balance. This is the only minor issue I had. With so many beautiful restaurants in Sitges we mostly wanted to eat out anyway. Would happily recommend and stay again.

I am once again staying at the Antemare. I have posted several reviews about the hotel on Tripadvisor which cover all aspects of the services offered. I decided to share this little update which I hope you find useful. The Antemare has (temporarily) removed “Adults Only “ from their description and for an excellent reason. The hotel is (to the best of my knowledge) the only one in Sitges to have accepted families of Ukrainian refugees in association with international and local organisations. The Management and personnel of the hotel have achieved something magnificent. A subtle reorganisation of public spaces means that the Ukrainian people are welcomed in ambiance where they can feel (as far as possible) at home. Regular guests will find no difference in the quality of services offered. Children have a separate room for activities - there is a local supervisor and a translator - and organised meetings for the Ukrainian guests. Presence of children at the pool was never a problem. I can only extend my heartfelt thanks and congratulations to Ibersol and the Antemare for taking this decision. I shall always recommend the Antemare and come back here year after year. Brian

My wife wanted to control the budget, so she booked this hotel. Well-prepared apartment, good value for money, and the location of the hotel is not bad. But the important point is that check-in and the apartment are not in the same place, and the local public transportation is inconvenient. And this information is not in the confirmation message. In the evening, I took two babies with my luggage, and walked one kilometer to the apartment, only to find that they had to check in at another place two kilometers away, and there was no effective means of transportation. Everyone can make up for the situation and mood at the time. It is hoped that Ctrip will clearly indicate this key information in the hotel's confirmation sheet. But if you know in advance, the most effective way is to take a taxi to check in first, let the taxi wait, and then go to the apartment. The fare is about 20-25 Euros. If you only stay for one night, the price/performance ratio is not good

Frequent visitors to Sitges but first time at the Calipolis . First impressions excellent, friendly receptionist who explained a few things about the hotel and facilities. WiFi, beach towel service, breakfast etc….. We had a sea view balcony room which was very comfortable, great AC, big bathroom with shower over bath, double sink , fantastic water pressure and very hot water. Tea coffee and mini fridge in the room along with a flat screen tv. The evenings were lovely sat on the balcony enjoying a glass of wine. The housekeeping ladies were cheerful and did a great job. We had breakfast included, this did not disappoint. A huge selection in a lovely dining room with lovely staff members. We will definitely be back !

Poor customer service. We went to check in on 25th of May, when we arrived at the hotel we present ourselves, and then the lady looked at us and said OK I need your passport.(not even a hello, a please, a thank you, nothing, a bit rude I guess) we went into the room, and noticed that was only one set of toiletries, then ask for one more at the reception, kindly saying that we are 2 people checked in and we need one more. She said use the shower gel from the dispenser. There is no more toiletries sets. I can maybe give you only a hair conditioner if you want. Then politely I've asked if we can have 2 pairs of slippers (as there were none in our room). I've paid extra for a room with a Seaview. Then, the same lady told us that the slippers are reserved only for suite rooms or more expensive ones, and that our room don't qualify for the pair of slippers, stating that is a 4 star hotel, not 5. First time in my life I've heard this. Even in 2 stars you can find slippers. I've said we can pay for it, no problem, but we need them. She said I give you only once, as you're not entitled to it, but I do you this favour. So rude. The hotel was clean, but in the balcony we had lizards all night. For other recommendations I suggest put some more snacks in the room(was just 1 small bag of crisps and 1 chocolat sticks). At the restaurant we've been refused to have the dinner on the outside terrace of the restaurant, although breakfast was served there next morning. In rest good location, and quiet, great view, but not the nicest beach.

We stayed for 4 nights in a junior suite. The weather was disappointing, which never helps, but obviously isn’t the hotels fault. 3 of the 4 days, the roof bar wasn’t open due to the weather, which again isn’t the hotels fault, but it did impact our stay. The best bit about the hotel is the sky bar. Pool looks very inviting. The front desk/bar/ house keeping people we’re all excellent, understated, but ready and friendly. Hotel location is perfect, as it’s close to the town, but in a quiet street. We didn’t like our initial room, and it was changed without a problem. Noise from children may be an issue. Rooms are a bit tired, but communal areas are fresh and well serviced. Had a good stay. Sitges is a lovely town, with great restaurants and bars, and we will return when the weather is better.

Hotel Alenti couldn't be at a better location. The main square with many nightlife options is in front of the door and the beach is just one minute away. We stayed here for one night and definitely come back next time. Our room was great, very comfortable. In the room it was very quiet, we didn't hear anything from the busy nightlife outside. Also, the wifi worked perfect. On the rooftop, there's a nice little area to relax and lay down. Which is great when you don't necessary want to go to the beach. We had dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and it was sooo delicious. We took different tapas and had some wine. The food and staff are both great. The breakfast in the morning had everything we needed. It was possible to leave our luggage afterwards, so we could go to the beach again before leaving. Also, it's possible to get towels for the beach. How handy!

Location, price and amenities combine to make this a great spot for your Sitges holiday! Loved the roof top bar with enchanting views of the malecon and Med. The pool area was fine but the loungers need updating for something more comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight, great variety, fresh, hot and plentiful…and it is served until 12noon! Remember its a three star and could do with a bit of a hug in places but a winner and one I’d be happy to return to time and again.

The best side of the hotel is the location. The worst is not that it is a more than little bit worn but non existing soundproofing. You can hear the waves of the sea 24/7, but as easily follow-up a discussion next door in case you understand the language. You quickly learn that time is 08:30am when they start to wash the promenade. Plus all the sounds you can imagine in the area of a beach, beach promenade and dozens of restaurants. We arrived 1am and just before hotel our young daughter puked. Luckily taxi was not hit. We requested help to get paper from night porter and after little time of thinking she gave us a half roll of toilet paper. It was even harder to get to the toilet to wash hands before digging passports from the pocket. There are no toilets available in a lobby during night time when most of common areas are closed. But after that we were given two key-cards to best room of the hotel - one of three suites and the one in third floor. However key-cards were not working so I went back to the lobby and those were reactivated instantly. Benefit of third floor is that there is nobody above but you still have two neighbors in rooms next doors. Suite is quite spacious (50 m2) for family of four (kids 6 and 11) and kids have their own sofa-bed in separate area of main bedroom. However there are two corridors between these two areas and no doors - not even sliding doors or any curtain to help lights and sounds not to pour from area to another. Between those area is a separate set of closets and main mirrors. Quite ok space for clothes for less than a week. Here is also a safe. Suite has three balconies, one with a sea-view and to with partial sea-view. As can be seen in many photos there are to chairs and a small table in each of those. At least you have plenty of sunshine. All three balconies have big windows with motorized metal sun shades. One of those was not working but when we mentioned about it to reception next morning it was fixed in 20 mins. There are just on type of pillow available and that 'Spanish standard' might be way too thick to many. Also when using sofa-bed there are no chairs inside the suite. We used balcony chairs instead inside. The fridge is a former minibar. When we arrived there was just two glasses. Bottle of water would have been nice but you can buy water, beer, chips and other basic staff what normally is in a minibar from the lobby 24/7. As an example can of beer was 2,50€. Quality of wifi changes unexpectedly like the temperature of the water in a shower. Sometimes we measured 5 Mb incoming and almost the same out (without VPN). 30 mins later it was even hard to get a connection. Our deal included breakfasts served in hotel's El Indiano restaurant. Pretty basic, not four star in our scale. They make you a latte, cappuccino, espresso or americano if you know to request those and you should since those were good. Even coffee machine is above the average. Warm dishes are served like fried e

Hotel location is good, just in the port, the sea view is great, and the beach is very close and beautiful. However, it is suitable for self-driving. Outside the hotel is a bar street, and many nights are very lively. The parking fee for the hotel is 20 Euros, and it is 40 Euros for one night. It is not cheap. The room is quite large and the facilities are simple. It can be said that it is simple, bed and sofa. The stools are a little shaken. Overall, the price/performance ratio is acceptable. I think the house prices have doubled over the weekend, and it is really close to Barcel. Many people in the city come over for a weekend.

Back once again in our favourite holiday hotel . Been coming for 6 years now and still as good as ever from all of the team in the dining room ( especially Maria and Paula) the staff at Reception and the hard working cleaning staff . We stayed in the main hotel with a balcony overlooking the pool . Although the whole hotel could probably do with some updating the current furbishments are part of the charm . Bedroom and shower room really well appointed with bedding changed regularly, large bath towels, toiletries, tea and coffee and bottled water daily . Housekeeping was exemplary . Breakfast still first class with amazing choice including freshly cooked egg dishes and cava and wine included and of course available until 12 noon each day . Pastries and coffee available every day between 3- 5pm . Really appreciated my daughter and partner being able to join us one morning at breakfast as our guests . Only one slight observation . Although it did not detract from our stay perhaps the pool area would benefit from some updated tables and chairs . Can’t wait to return next year.

We came as a family of 5. It’s a pretty nice hotel but important things like staying hydrated are very expensive. The closest shop is a 45 minute walk away and taxis are oddly difficult to flag on the way back.(10 euro trip each way) There are a handful of expensive restaurants in the complex with pretty mediocre food. If you want to buy a water, there is a cafe that closes at 5 that sells pretty small cartons of water for 5 euro each. When you have a family of 5 needing a lot of water to stay hydrated, a week can easily cost hundreds on water alone if you don’t make it to a shop. The bars sell water for a similar price. A can of Pepsi costs 5 euro which feels like a total rip off too. Room service would leave us 3 small bottles daily and the breakfast buffet has bottles of water included. My advice is to drink lots at breakfast and to get bottles of water if/when you make it to town. My advice to the hotel would be to have a small kiosk or shop that sells items like sunscreen, water and snacks at reasonable prices. Also a more casual dining option would be good. Kids got burgers at the bar. 16 euro each, quite dry and basic served with greasy fries.

The hotel is in a small alleyway in the town, the navigation is directly past, knowing that there is no parking lot in advance, but did not expect the cost of the paid parking lot is quite high, 16 Euros a night! There is no elevator in the hotel, and our three girls are slightly depressed with three big boxes! The triple room we stayed in was alleyway, very noisy! But breakfast is not bad! The whole town is not far from the beach. Of course, it is definitely not the distance to wear a swimsuit and barefoot! The room is not very spacious but acceptable.

The hotel said that there is no better scenery. You can see the sea directly from the balcony outside the window, but the balcony wall is too high, you can only stand on the balcony to see, you can't sit and watch, let alone lie down. At that time, there was no sea view room, but pool view room, but then the waiter said that the ocean view is better, and it costs 15 euros. I thought I could see the sea and agreed, but that's not the case at all. It's just that there is more sunlight and the room is relatively small. In order to bask in the sun, he barely endured not changing back.

This was the first time that we had stayed at the El Cid having previously stayed at the Platjador and the Galeon. We only stayed for 5 nights whilst attending The Spanish Grand Prix. The hotel was spotlessly clean in every area including the fantastic pool area. The service in the breakfast room was faultless. I didn’t get the young mans name but he couldn’t do enough for our party of four. He even offered to fetch the food from the centre table for my wife as she was struggling to get around due to an issue with her knee. All the food was hot and very enjoyable. The shower in the bathroom was really good and the towels were changed every day. We would be more than happy to stay here again in the future.

The best bits? Excellent location - it's an easy walk to bars, restaurants and the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the cleaners were flexible on times they visited. The room was clean and had a great balcony. (We were on the 5th floor). At the price, it was great value for money. Negatives? The lift from reception could only be accessed by going down stairs, or up to the next floor - fine for us, but not ideal for anyone with accessibility issues. In our room, there was a large step between the sleeping area and the dressing / entrance area. Although this sounds like me being 'picky', it was about 11 inches / 28 cm, so if you forgot yourself it was an unnaturally large drop - we got round it by placing a chair in front to use as a handrail. So, again, not ideal for people with mobility issues. Would we use this hotel again? It has to be Yes!
