      In addition to the lack of sleep caused by guests running up/down the hallways until almost 4:00 a.m. and banging on the doors, the rooms were filthy and falling apart - literally! The Front Desk attendant finally came upstairs and attempted to remove the guests; however, the parent left them alone at the hotel unattended. I drove 5 hours and only got 3 1/2 hours of sleep. There was NO HOT WATER for showers! The ceiling had significant water damage and pieces of it were on the floor. There were exposed wires behind the desk, the baseboard was coming away from the wall. The sheets, pillowcases, and blankets were stained. Clean linens were left outside of doors, rather than changing bed sheets. There was hardly any toilet paper in the bathroom or and only two towels in the room. There were no towels in the pool area and trash was all over the lobby and pool. Guests were walking around smoking pot in the lobby and elevators. Our group negotiated a hot breakfast sandwich and continental breakfast. There were no hot sandwiches, and the bananas were overripe and split open. Muffins had bites taken out of them and in the basket and the juice was still frozen. Coffee was not even available. This is not what I expect and am accustomed to when staying at a Hilton property.

      Pros: Clean, comfortable guest room; Good location close to highway, restaurants, and shopping; excellent nightly rates. Cons: Hallways and rooms are a little dark. Note: I typically enjoy hotel pools and hot tubs while traveling but the pandemic necessitated these being closed during my visit, therefore I cannot comment. This is an older property- true to its name with an actual "Courtyard" nestled in the middle of the U-shaped building. Despite its age it is well-maintained and extremely clean. The hallways and rooms are a little dark (indicative of older Courtyard decor) but the furniture is more functional than what's being installed in new and remodeled properties. For example, the couch is actually comfortable for reading and watching TV, and the work desk has a low, expandable pull-out section useful for laptops. Creve Couer appears to be a nicer section of the St. Louis suburbs, if the plethora of luxury car dealerships are an appropriate indicator. Within walking distance are Aldi and Dierberg's grocery stores representing both ends of the spectrum. Other restaurants and shops are equally close, as is the I-270 interchange. The airport is about 20 minutes away; the heart of St. Louis is a few minutes further. There's nothing exceptional about this Courtyard but my stay left me struggling to find any legitimate complaints. The fact that rooms can be had for outrageously reasonable prices make it a very compelling option while in the area.

The location is relatively biased, there are not many restaurants nearby, but the quality of the hotel is as good as ever. The front desk staff is very professional, the service is very considerate and considerate.       Just finished a 3-month stay at this hotel during a work and home transition. The staff was always friendly and quick to answer questions or help with anything we needed. The room was comfortable and felt like home. While there is nothing like getting back into a permanent living situation, I was almost sad to leave! Location is close to grocery stores, restaurants, and other necessities for being home away from home for an extended time.

      We stayed at this hotel and took one bedroom suite with 2 queen beds and kitchen, sofa bed. It basically has 1 room for beds and 1 living room or area, kitchen area and bathroom. Good thing is the layout and that it has full kitchen with ref ridge, two head stove, microwave, dishwasher and utensils and plates. Beds are comfortable. Sofa and chair in living area were ok, very slick material. The suite has 2 TVs. Nice and large TVs and we took our Roku stick and hook it to TV to watch our favorite Disney plus movies. Shower was basic and shower head is not that strong. Hotel offered free breakfast which was fine for hot and cold food except only has 2% milk that was in dispenser which frequently was broken. No separate milk. They have cheese but no low fat. Nice of breakfast was oatmeal, cereal, coffee, fruits, scrambled eggs. Bad of breakfast was hard boil eggs very nasty. Hotel offered 1 deep clean once during our 6 day stay and we asked for another cleaning of room and hardly got it. You can leave trash outside your room. Laundry were free with 5 washers & 5 dryers but it cost $3 to buy one load of laundry detergent. Nice thing about hotel has indoor pool (we did not use) and basketball court (one pole), nice picnic area with grilling amenity to use. Staff friendly and house-keeping were extra nice and smiling. Guest service at check in or out were not there all the time.
