Service? Yep - Bobby at the front desk showed efficient skill at applying a Marriott gift cert we presented to cover our charges, and was courteous and pleasant doing so. Comfort? Oh yeah - great mattresses and some silky smooth double sheeting on the beds. Convenience? Couldn't have been more so - close to the Interstate and neaby tons of eateries, services and attractions. Quiet? Like a night under desert skies quiet. Cleanliness? Absolutely immaculate room, lobby and grounds. This is the finest Fairfield I've ever stayed at, period.

I have stayed at Extended Stays several times before in other states and this dump was gosh awful! The floors were so sticky every step sounded like stepping on “bubble wrap”! The lamp shades were stained and had black hair on both of them! There was hair on the toilet seat too. The night stand had a stain on it. I selected this place because of scheduled surgery and needed a kitchen. The filth of the room added undue concern and worry and I would have checked out but it was too late! Make matters worse the dishwasher wasn’t working so clean kitchen items were not available for guests! And even worse? The delivery truck for breakfast items didn’t arrive so there was not even coffee available!!!!!! No ice either! What an awful experience! Health officials need to visit this place!

We are from Texas, we came to OKC to bring my son in law to catch a flight (which ended up being canceled until Monday afternoon). After driving in the snow storm all day, we decided we weren't going to drive back to Texas so I had to search for somewhere to stay. So the search began! I booked our rooms last minute, but I'm glad I chose to stay here! When we arrived we were greeted by a smiling face, a such a warm hearted young lady by the name of Kimberly. She explained everything to us, and was so helpful. Even helped us with direction to the nearest Walmart. If I'm ever in OKC again I'll definitely be staying here again!

Arrived around noon or so and James was very helpful in checking me in. Being Spire Elite I was upgraded to a suite. This suite has something I rarely see: a ceiling fan in the sitting area. A very nice feature to go along with AC (it was nearly 100 degrees outside at one point!). Weak water pressure was the only bad thing about the room. Full breakfast, good to see as some locations have still been slow to roll that out. The neighborhood is so-so around the area, but you have easy access to I-35 and I-40, as well as downtown only two or three miles away.

We stayed here on our way from Montana to TN. We checked in late, friendly staff at front desk and sufficient parking out behind for our truck and trailer. Room on third floor was quiet and quite comfortable. It had a barn door style door for the bath and a glass shower enclosure. Modern controls for the AC/heat and nicely furnished. The only issue was there was only one towel and no washcloths in the bathroom. Nothing big but couldn’t give you five stars for that reason😢

We booked here for our anniversary because we love the rooms that have a balcony. We reserved a room with a balcony on the club level. Upon arrival we were given a room on the 6th floor which is not club level. I immediately looked at my reservation to make sure I hadn’t accidentally booked the wrong room. But I had indeed booked the one bedroom suite on the club level, just like I had in the past. I asked why we weren’t in the room I reserved. I was told that room wasn’t available. This should have been told to me upon arrival I shouldn’t have to ask. I was then given a downgraded room on the club level without a balcony. I asked if we weee going to receive a discount since we were being downgraded. I was told no. After some insistence on my part the clerk talked to the manager and said $40 would be discounted. I was still billed the full amount. I have travelled a lot and have had hotels over book in the past. This is the first time I wasn’t told on arrival. Normally we get upgraded or get a discount for a downgrade. The room had tears in the wallpaper. The vent in the bathroom wasn’t a pour to fall completely out. The couch was so stained no one could sit on it. We had to completely change plans for our 21st anniversary as we had booked the larger room for the balcony and to also have some friends hangout for a bit. Highly disappointed and will never be back.

The lobby is beautiful! They have a small bar and food(bar food). The room was very clean, very comfortable beds. The only thing I didn't like was the shower door didn't seal shut so some water got on the floor, but that's literally it. Great price. I will be returning!!

After reading the other reviews, I thought, "How bad can the noise be?" Oh lawd. We even use a white noise app at night, and it was no match for the insanely loud mufflers on seemingly allll the cars. I know the hotel can't do anything about that, but some noise canceling windows would be nice! We were also there during an NBA game at PayCom one night, and country music concernt there the next, and we had to circle the hotel for a good 30 minutes trying to navigate the road closures and traffic. Again, not much the hotel can do about that (and it's a great location if you're going there), but it would have great to see a sign in the lobby letting guests know to expect that and instructions on which roads will be open. Onto the good things! Speaking of location, it was super easy to walk everywhere downtown - botanical gardens, restaurants, memorial, art museum, etc., and we felt safe doing so. We got a suite upgrade, and the room was awesome! Living room, desk, small "kitchen," separate bedroom, etc. The WiFi was super easy, fast and reliable, and the staff were very responsive (even the valet at 6 am when we wanted to go to breakfast) and the front desk. Phone calls never went unanswered, and everyone was really pleasant. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again... just ask for a room that doesn't face the road and make sure you check the PayCom event schedule.

The first night we checked in, roughly about 4am, there were ants crawling on our nightstand. We were exhausted, so I decided I would talk to the front desk after a little sleep. Woke up, went into the bathroom to get ready, and they were crawling out from under the mirror. Looked at the nightstand, and there were dead ants in the drawer and under the alarm clock, so it’d been a problem for a while, clearly. I talked to the front desk about it, and they asked if we wanted them to spray while we were there or if we wanted to be moved. We wanted to be moved, clearly! Honestly, what kind of question is that for a guest? I wouldn’t feel comfortable with them spraying for pests while we’re still in the room. We had one night without any worry in our new room, but the night before we left, they started crawling on the nightstand in there. When we went to breakfast the next morning, I flicked one off of my phone while we were sitting in the breakfast area. It was holding a food crumb. And on the way back home, my husband found some crawling on him. I’m still waiting for the credit to post back, but if it’s the amount that I’m seeing in pending, I’m not happy with it. It’s disgusting and made our trip uncomfortable because I constantly felt like I had ants crawling on me.

The room itself was okay besides the smoke alarm going off when the steam from the shower I took set it off. I couldn’t get to it until after my shower, and it was going off for the majority of the duration. There were cars in the parking lot playing super loud music, and there was a guy outside of my window working on his car from about 3am until around 7am. I won’t be staying at this location again, rather disappointing.

Our stay was overall good at the hotel. It is beautiful and historic and well located. Our service levels were excellent from everyone we met. Where the hotel is getting a bit challenged is the actual room comfort. We were with a large group so many rooms on various floors of the hotel and the same issues on each. First is the air conditioning. We could never get our room anything but too cold or too hot. There was no in between. Everyone either had to set the cold on 65 and let it run full out all day and night to keep the room at somewhere between 68 and 70, or if you set it any higher the room just stayed hot all the time. Every room seemed that way. Second was the water pressure in the shower. I am not exaggerating to say that holding a watering can over my head would have generated twice the shower pressure that the actual shower produced. That meant each part of my body had to be maneuvered under the drip in order to rinse off. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and have never encountered this to this level before. Temperature was fine, but no pressure. Those two issues, because they are major factors in comfort, outweigh the beauty of the common areas in writing a review. IT was bad enough that I can’t recommend the hotel. Stay at a more modern place downtown and visit here to look around.

The hotel was ok but check in was a complete headache..we were in the lobby for about 30 minutes before we were even acknowledged due to the front desk employee conversating with friends and getting her friend discounts on a stay…we tried to use the app for the digital key and check in before arrival but it still prompted us to go to the front desk because there was an issue with our rooms…we had reserved 3 rooms for 2 nights and an hour after arrival and check in time we were waiting on the supervisor to inspect the rooms for cleanliness so that was another headache..we were also drilled about the smoking policy as if we were going to break the rules and smoke… front desk lady kept repeating the rules again about the smoking policy and telling us that if she found any evidence of smoking they would charge our card repeatedly for years to get the fee even if it was $5 at a time which I found uncalled for because we were there with our children to visit the museum not smoke and party so I feel that because of our age we were out in a box…we were also told that if anybody went swimming and tracked water in the lobby she would shut the pull down because she didn’t feel Like mopping and that’s where I felt completely uncomfortable…the description says a family friendly hotel and it was far from those expectations..broken microwaves, broken blinds, and so on and when the problem was reported we were just told that they would send someone in it took for me to go to the front desk the next morning after shift change to be moved to another room which was still not up To par…you definitely will have to walk on eggshells at this place… it was the worst $750 I ever spent for a hotel stay

We got a really good deal on Priceline when we booked this hotel. Conveniently located by the mall, and a bunch of restaurants. The room or the hotel itself wasn't mind blowing, but it definitely served its purpose. The staff was helpful and nice. The room was pretty clean, the bathroom needs a remodel, but still pretty clean. The a/c was great, and the ceiling fan is a nice touch. The king size bed is super comfy. The shower pressure was perfect, but the maid accidentally left the old soap and shampoo in the shower. I can overlook the soap/shampoo incident....that happens....other than that, I would stay here again!!!

Not quite so expensive as the other nice places in bricktown. Definitely a lesson in making sure that you double check a few things before staying. Clean and spacious lobby. Main desk staff was friendly and got us checked in quickly. Whole place was clean. Room easy to find. The room and the lobby and the whole hotel has a classy, ultra modern feel. Think IKEA for the expensive gin crowd. At the end of a long day, when we wanted to easily check in and relax, this place was a little precious. The only hotel parking was valet parking. The pay parking lot across the street was $40 per day. Not the $10 that the hotel web site listed. We had to park 2 blocks away in an unattended surface lot. I hope we still have our catalytic converter this morning. Getting settled in our room was a trick. The walls were dark colored, the floor dark colored, and the light switches were tough to find. When we did find them, they only controlled the indirect under-bench lighting. So we stumbled through the room in the mostly dark, looking for switches. We found them… subtle little rocker switches on the wall lights. Once we got that sorted, we were comfortable. The room was clean, efficiently laid out, and comfortable. Plumbing worked and heater worked, and the fit and finish was a step nicer than the usual slapdash hotel interior construction. Wifi was a pain in the rear. All of our devices had trouble getting to the login page. I called the desk and they advised restarting my device or “turning off my firewall”. Uh, no, I’m not going to turn off my firewall on an open wifi. And my phone and tablet don’t have firewalls that you can turn off. I tried rebooting all of our devices a couple of times with no result. Then, without changing anything on our end, the login screen appeared and all devices connected. I’ve seen this before, and it typically involves the _hotel_ rebooting the router. It was working, so we moved on with our lives. Good thing I didn’t need the connection for work. Breakfast is not free, and we were surprised because we could have sworn that we searched for that specifically on TripAdvisor. Oh, well. There’s a hotel kitchen and a few places in bricktown to get breakfast. Lucky for us, we weren’t in a hurry to get up and out and on the road. The shower head can be set very high. I’m 6’ 4”. I appreciated that. All in all, you’re paying for upscale-ish look and feel here, not the amenities. The look and feel really is nicer than usual, though really not my taste. If you like dark browns and lots of glass and don’t mind paying for extras, this place might suit you. If you like simplicity and convenience, look elsewhere.

The rooms are in desperate need of repair. The furniture is new but the walls are cracking, paint chipping, switch plates are broken and it has a weird smell. We found cigarette butts in the hallways along with a c@ck ring. The guests don’t clean up after their pets and I almost stepped in dog poop walking out to my car. Some areas of the hotel have a cat urine smell. My daughter took her earrings off at the pool so she could go swimming and not lose them. When she went to gather her belongings, someone had stolen them. When we asked the front desk clerk to look at the cameras, she refused and said they would be too grainy to see anyone. The people in the room next door were loudly partying until 11pm and the property had old chairs just dumped in the parking lot. The property is dated and the area is overrun with transients. The only good things about this hotel is the updated lobby area, bathrooms, and breakfast area and the breakfast options. The eggs were flavorful unlike most hotels. They had bread for toast, muffins, bagels, potatoes (we enjoyed those) eggs, sausage (2kinds) biscuits and gravy, oatmeal packets, assorted fruits, cereal and waffles. They also had juice, coffee and milk. Unfortunately, that wouldn’t be enough to bring us back to this hotel.

Every staff member we encountered was very friendly and helpful. Spent two weeks here was and very pleased. All employees wore masks, common areas indoors and out were disinfected and cleaned frequently. Plexiglass shields at check desk. Seems like they thought of everything to keep things sanitized during Covid. I wish I would have gotten more names of such great people working here but the only one I know of was Ebonee. We are vegetarians so couldn’t always eat some of the breakfast sandwiches and she happily substituted for us. She was very helpful and friendly. Much appreciated!!! Room was clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable. The air conditioning was excellent and got the room very cold as we like it. The loveseat, chair and carpet were a bit worn and had seen better days but did the job. Wifi worked well and the two TVs had many channels. All in all, a very comfortable stay and thankful to all of the courteous staff. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

I was hesitant to book this Avid hotel for a one night stay because it was so cheap, but I am a firm believer in Tripadvisor reviews (from people that have reviewed more than one hotel) and I agree with the other positive reviews 100%. This place was amazing for the price! The rooms are a little small, but how much room do you need at a hotel? There was a gigantic TV with a lot of channels and options in the room. The room was clean and modern and I really appreciated the large bottles of lotion and shampoo instead of tiny little sample size bottles. There was even a mini-fridge in the room. The best part was the amazing array of choices at breakfast. Unlike other hotels right now that are handing you a sack with a couple of items, they had fruit, hot and cold cereal, muffins, bagels, Jimmy Dean sausage biscuits, and more. I felt very safe here, there was hand sanitizer everywhere, including inside and outside the elevator. Again, it was a bargain price for a great motel. I will definitely stay here next time I'm in OKC.

I would give this hotel 5 stars. The location is perfect if you feel like walking around Bricktown. There is no need to take your car. The Criterion is right next door, and I love that the Devon tower is visible from the entrance. The staff was extremely polite and helpful, and made my partner and I feel very welcome. The only downside was that the toilet seat looked like it had not been cleaned properly and we found a candy wrapper in the hair dryer bag. I would appreciate it if they could take better care of those things. Other than that, the rest of the room was impeccable and our stay was wonderful. Thank you, SpringHill Suites!

I had a great experience except for the parking garage situation. It was very confusing. I parked first and then paid extra to come in and out for the 2 days I was there. When I first tried to come out the 2 day ticket wouldn’t work, after explaining over & over again to the guards they finally let us out. They said that they have issues with people passing around those tickets but I showed my room number and all of my tickets. All in all it was just an unnecessary hassle, not sure if it’s a machine error or what but I know it caused issues for several other people as well. There is a sign that says to check in before parking but I got caught up in the downtown traffic from arriving late and was in a hurry to just park so part of it is my fault. I didn’t get a chance to enjoy the breakfast or pool amenities but I heard good things! Overall, I’m satisfied with my stay and would most certainly visit again!
