The hotel is 10 minutes from the train station, and it is convenient to go to the cable car station and the gear train station. The front desk service of the hotel is very warm, and the English speaking speed is slower. It can be seen that it is communicated with heart. Breakfast is quite rich. The hotel is very clean. The downside is that the room is small. The overall is still recommended.

I am very satisfied with the fact that I can see the Matterhorn from the balcony. The front desk was very considerate and sent it to the room. It also introduced various instructions in detail. There is a special welcome card and the facilities are complete. There are also chocolates of the same type as the Matterhorn in the refrigerator. You can take pictures and check in. There are various commercial streets. convenient

I returned from four days and three nights at the Beausite Zermatt, and it was really wonderful. The staff was accommodating and made sure I had a wonderful stay. I was picked up at the train station and booked a junior suite with a great view of the Matterhorn. I loved my wooden soaking up in the bathroom (in addition to the oversized shower), and the bed was super comfy. I had plenty of time at the end of the day to enjoy the spa, outdoor pool, and sauna with views of Zermatt. The breakfast buffet was delicious, not to mention my meals, I had dinner at The Grill with friends who were also in town, and my last meal was at the charming Witch'eese fondue hut; it was just us three inside and super cozy. I look forward to coming back next time I am in town.

We had a 3rd floor room for a 1 week ski vacation. Hotel is directly across the street from the Sunnegga Ski Lift. Completely convenient. Hotel had a ski storage area and warmed boot rack. A real plus. Breakfast was wonderful every day. Fresh bread, sliced meats, homemade jellies, musli, eggs and fresh coffee every day. Our room was spacious, very comfortable beds and a direct view of the matterhorn. We really picked a good one this time. The staff was always helpful, warm and inviting. WE will be back.

When we entered the apartment, the first thing that struck us was the elegant design and the fantastic view of the Matterhorn. At second glance, we thought of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Only it didn't have seven little forks, seven little spoons and seven little knives, but exactly four of each. Incidentally, the second bedroom with the bunk bed is so tiny that the dwarfs are better off taking off their pointed hats and coats in front of the door because it gets too cramped inside. We would have preferred a shower there - the spacious bathroom has a tub with a glass pane covering half the side. I always manage to flood the room and getting in and out is always a sporting challenge. But enough slander. The apartment is really a force, a large, covered, wind and weather-protected seat with a pretty designer table, where you have to be careful that the cutlery doesn't fall through the metal rungs, placemats would be practical. A huge, sunny garden terrace with lots of privacy, two umbrellas and three loungers. Spacious eat-in kitchen with a light-flooded living room and pretty furniture. All color matched perfectly. Incidentally, in addition to the limited number of cutlery and glasses, the kitchen is surprisingly well equipped, Nesspresso coffee machine, first-class dishwasher, induction cooker with 4 plates, efficient exhaust hood, super oven with steamer, microwave, huge refrigerator, pans and what is a lack in some holiday apartments, here even with matching lids, raclette oven, fondue rechaud. A paradise for the ambitious amateur cook. Even a recipe book entitled ”Cooking really well with a maximum of 6 ingredients”. I leafed through it a bit, but the first few pages had ingredients that are hardly available in Zermatt in July, for example green asparagus or Thuringian Mett, whatever that is, maybe you can find something like that on the animal feed rack in the supermarket. But, as I said, the apartment is like a fairy tale. In the spacious bedroom there is a really comfortable double bed with comfortable bed linen and enough closets. We really liked it and when we travel to Zermatt again, we will gladly book this apartment again, if they let us in again after I slandered something here on Tripadvisor and one of the four glasses in the dishwasher broke on the last evening because I stuffed it in too tight.

Honeymooning in Europe and we could not have imagined a more quaint, lovely hotel/small resort to stay. Staff was friendly, courteous, helpful and “European Prompt”. Room was just lovely and bathroom more like I would expect in USA plus a bidet. The decor is not modern but amenities are. It is decorated exactly as it should be for a Swiss Chalet in the Alps which means lots of woodwork. Zermatt is a very expensive town so prices for Alex were by this measure quite reasonable. Located right around the corner from the train station so extra convenient. View from our second level balcony was out of a travel magazine. Really the only less than perfect comments I would make is that the beds are European style so a little firm for my American taste. If you have travelled extensively in Europe, you should know what I mean so it is not a criticism just a cultural/stylistic difference. In summary, I couldn’t recommend Hotel Resort Alex any higher for an amazing Swiss / Matterhorn experience.

I had the most lovely stay at Hotel Monte Rosa in magical Zermatt. It was my first time visiting, definitely not my last. Started with the cutest taxi pick up at the train station to the kind and most welcoming staff at check in. Then off to the gorgeous, spacious and ever so comfortable room, with a view of the Matterhorn and snowy mountains. The bed and bedding were heavenly, the towels so soft and that shower...did not want to get out! Breakfasts and tea time were delicious. Housekeeping and the restaurant team were so nice. So much history here at the Monte Rosa. Included in my stay was access to the spa at their sister hotel, Mont Cervin. What a treat to be able to swim, use the hot tubs and glorious saunas! Hotel Monte Rosa is a very special place. You can feel the love. A huge thank you to George and Iliana at reception. They made my stay extra special with their warmth, amazing tips & recommendations and of course professionalism. I look forward to returning very soon! Much love Naz @Nazknowz

This is a magnificent property. The breathtaking views from our balcony, the friendly service and accommodating staff, delicious breakfasts, and great cocktail bar set this resort above all others. Truly the most outstanding aspect of this resort besides the staff, is the world class spa and indoor pool. Experiencing an 80 minute massage, the steam room, sauna and ice cave in addition to the lap pool and hot tub with breathtaking views of the Matterhorn, is absolutely surreal. Franc who checked us in and brought us to our room, and then delivered champagne and snacks as a welcome for my birthday celebration was such a nice touch. The room was even pre-decorated with Happy Birthday signs for me. Being in the hotel business for 39 years, I recognize world class hospitality, and Christiana sets the standard! thank you for a memorable experience GW

My friends and I visited Zermatt for the first time ever, in October 2023. We took 2 mountain-view rooms and were extremely glad that we did! After we arrived at the Zermatt train station, we decided to walk to the hotel on our own because the weather was beautiful, warm and sunny. Guests can opt for transport by an electric vehicle, which costs CHF15 per person, from the train station directly to the hotel. We arrived at the hotel after 10 minutes, walking to this hotel isn't too difficult, as long as your luggage has wheels. The roads are well-paved, you just need to watch out for cyclists and the electric vehicles speeding around the town. This hotel requires guests to check-in on their website, they send you a link via email, a few days prior to your visit here, so you that you can do a pre check-in even before you arrive. I didn't do that, so I did my check-in on the spot in front of the reception counter and was guided step-by-step by the friendly staff. Our rooms were ready, it was around 1pm. The rooms are very clean, has all the amenities of a 4-star hotel, including bathrobes and bedroom slippers, digital safe, hairdryer, coffee machine and basic toiletries. This hotel has a pillow menu, I went to the front desk to get a memory foam latex pillow for myself because I found the down pillows too soft. The room temperature was very comfortable, the rooms are heated by a central heating system, which is controlled by the hotel staff. There are no individual thermostats in the rooms. Our room balconies had unobstructed views of the Matterhorn mountain, the most recognisable mountain in Europe. This was worth every extra penny that we paid for the mountain-view rooms! IMPORTANT NOTE: Not every hotel room in any hotel in Zermatt has unobstructed views of the Matterhorn. If you are a first-time visitor to Zermatt, I recommend that you spend the extra money and get yourself a mountain-view room. This hotel is located away from the main street of Zermatt town, therefore it is very quiet and serene. At the same time, it is within walking distance to the main street, the GornergratBahn railway station, the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise gondola station, to the Matterhorn Museum, and to several excellent restaurants in Zermatt. You can ask the front desk staff for a walking map of Zermatt when you check into this hotel, I asked Christina for advise and restaurant recommendations, and she was most helpful. She gave me 2 maps of Zermatt, one map shows the tourists attractions and the other shows the restaurants. My friends and I dined at the Spycher restaurant, which is connected to this hotel, they serve AMAZING flambe beef and lamb! Our rooms included complimentary breakfast and it was good but not spectacular. You can have pancakes, omelettes and sunny-side eggs cooked to order. There is a healthy smoothie which consists of a combination of fruits and herbs, and it was delicious! A variety of tea and coffees are available, the hot food options inc

Very satisfied with a hotel, only: 1. Since it is in the middle of interlaken west and interlaken ost stations, you have to travel a long way to see the hotel first 2. The church is isolated, it will ring at night and in the morning, and the sound is recognized 🥺 3. There is no air-conditioning in the room, so it is a little bit hot. Lucky you have to open the window There are quite a lot of choices for breakfast, all the waiters can speak English, it feels much more friendly

The overall quality of Swiss hotels is really high, with details in place everywhere. The same is true of this hotel. The handsome guy at the front desk is really super enthusiastic. He will say hello every time he meets, and explain how to play the Matterhorn route when he checks in. The breakfast husband said that it was the fullest day in Europe. There are boiled eggs and fried eggs. Fried eggs are not salty and rare, and there are small cakes. This salmon is super fresh and has a lot of fruit. The best thing is that the juice is freshly squeezed, squeezed by yourself, and there is a special machine for pressing fruits. The room was clean, the bed was large and comfortable. The balcony is also nice and you can see the street view. By the way, there are minibars in the room, all of them are free. This is awesome. There are beer and various drinks in it. Seems like 6 bottles. The coffee in the coffee machine is also very good, but I didn't drink it. The hotel has a free mini bus, the front desk said it would take us, but it was useless and I wanted to go around by myself. Very pleasant stay, recommend everyone. The price is not cheap or expensive, around 1500 a night.

I relied on *********** in selecting Matterhorn Lodge Hotel and Apartments for my four night stay. Communication was excellent for my potential late arrival by train from Frankfurt Airport. I arrived shortly after 21:00 and Ruth greeted me. We briefly discussed procedures for the stay and moved on to plans for the next day. She provided with a comprehensive trail, train, tram, chairlift, and gondola map. I told her I was interested in one route on my second day that involved somewhat higher elevation. She provided me with a suggestion for acclimation to altitude and loosening up for day one. The maps she provided were self explanatory and the main resource I needed. My room was stylish, clean, well furnished, quiet, and easily one of my best lodging experiences in 15 years and 54 overseas trips. The morning breakfast that was part of the package was well prepared and included a range of food options. The lodging was centrally located and convenient to the main train station and the many shops and restaurants on the main streets of Zermatt. I enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff and would look to see if there was space available for any future stays in Zermatt.

      La Vue Luxury Living Apartments

      Zermatt
      |0.37km from city center
We came to choose La Vue as an alternative to hotels in Zermatt as we were 3 couples interested in traveling together. The self-appointed “Luxury living” has great reviews and a nice marketing (website) that looks attractive but leaves a lot of inconvenient FACTS aside…: To start with: there are very limited views (“La vue” in French) from the building of the Matterhorn contrary to many pictures and most other hotels in Zermatt. Secondly, the location is on the opposite side of town from all gondolas or lifts to the slopes: it is made worse by the fact that you have to climb a steep and long (400 yards) street, followed by a tunnel and 2 elevators before you can be back into your room: if you don’t mind the first time coming back from a long skiing day, it gets old after a few outings even to go for dinner down to the main street…Of course, that “detail” is not stated anywhere on the brochure or website and you have to be there to realize it.Lst but not least, the building is sitting above a major school with loud children and teens screaming at every break between classes...Worst if you are in a unit facing town...!! Although the recently (2012) built building features simple but tasteful design and style as far as the 3 bedrooms apartment was concerned, the shared amenities (reception, Spa, lounge …) are quite limited and fall short of Luxury standards: the indoor Jacuzzi is small and serves as a pool (unlike the generous size real pools that other hotels that we got to visit (modern like the Omnia, Cervo, or older establishments like Mont Cervin Palace etc…).There is no gym or work out / biking machine and the Massage team and menu are quite limited and overpriced ( I actually went for a massage at the Mont Cervin Palace Spa with amenities that are of decent size with great, international team of trained masseuses and a dedicated Manager… As far as Help/ Service is concerned, this “Luxury living” falls short again: front desk help has patchy hours ( when not smoking outside), most of the times nobody was there at standard hours and we had to deal with at least 6 different ( young/ inexperienced) agents over our 7 days stay…Except for Daniel, their English and knowledge was at best sketchy and their attitude not so great…If nobody is there, you then have to call the main hotel reception (Julen group) for remote (and delayed) assistance. The “cinema” movie room was stacked with storage stuff that blocked a third of the room and we were told that they don’t offer any DVD movie library, you just have to bring your own content… The only redeeming features at la Vue for us was a very abundant and quality breakfast served in room at the time of your choosing. When we went to the Omnia Hotel for a fine dinner, a few blocks away, we discovered an incredibly friendly and helpful reception staff even to outside guests, a great library/lounge bar/ area, an impressive pool and jacuzzi facing real Matterhorn views , and , of course, our dinner at their r

This hotel is the best one in my 12-day trip in Switzerland. The details of the hotel are very good. The minibar in the room is free, there is beer bubble water, etc. The room is large and can be used for extra beds. There are some hot foods outside, which are included in the room rate. It is a very careful hotel. There are many things to send, chocolate, special drinks, sweets, etc. Many details can reflect that this is a high-powered hotel, although the hotel is Half-mountain, but it does not affect travel at all. There is a hotel bus transfer to and from the train station, and the hotel has a direct elevator to the foot of the mountain. The elevator is the entrance to the rothorn, very good!

At eleven o'clock in the fast night, many hotels in Switzerland are not on duty at night. The hotel's door is closed, the door is affixed to the phone, the phone is in English, tell me the access code, how to check in after entering the door, the phone says I don't understand what I found. I suddenly found an envelope at the front desk, writing my name, taking the key to check in. The hotel waiter thought very thoughtfully. The next morning I found the service was very warm and the breakfast was good.

I have been to many hotels in zermatt over years and the Parness is now our top hetel.. Booking with them directly was easy with quick responses to emails and acceptable price The hotel checkin was welcoming and friendly The rooms are very clean and well presented. The room maid was brilliant. Breakfast was very good nice selection. The owner visited the restaurant in the morning and spoke to all the table and asking if everything is OK.. Nice touch The location of the hotel is in a great location for access to the ski shop, ski lift and buses as well as the town Check out was seemless,

In several respects a very good hotel with great service, but a little bit too many mishaps and issues to leave an overall strong impression. In terms of room configuration/equipment, maintenance/cleanliness and, most often, staff attitude/service levels, there is not much else to be wished for. But issues including the following did not positively contribute to the experience: - When making the reservation we had requested a room which would not face the street (due to noise). This had not been respected and at late evening arrival we were allocated a room just opposite the ice rink, which indeed made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. It should be noted though that the hotel, upon request, the next day moved us to a better/quieter room - Room temperature could not be changed - Staff sometimes surprisingly quick to charge, e.g. when requesting to change potatoes for a simple green salad to go with the beet fillet; the potatoes indeed didn't show up but the substitute rucola salad was charged CHF20 extra - On early (6am) departure, the staff had forgotten(?) about what had been agreed regarding collection of luggage from our room and arrangement of a shuttle to the train station, leading to great concern and stress that we would miss our train to the airport. Upon having understood the situation, the lonely night portier did a fantastic job in getting luggage, ski bags etc onto a shuttle and we got to the station in time, but with unhealthy stress levels given the early hour... - Because of the departure debacle there was no time for a proper check-out process including handing back the plastic ski cards; when afterwards reviewing the bill which was emailed to us, the hotel still wanted to charge us CHF5 for each plastic ski pass. I queried this, explaining that due to the hotel's fault there had been no proper checkout process and time to hand these back. The hotel however, quoting ”policy” persisted on this charge, which I found both irritating and amusing at the same time and which finally pushed me to take the time to write this review - A last observation is that the hotel is made up of several separate buildings, all connected through a network of basement corridors. Unlike most other hotels, there is no natural meeting/congregation area like a larger cosy lobby or lounge. The best one is Joseph's bar in the Petit Cervin building, but that is quite small and difficult to access if your room is in another part of the hotel

Very cozy and clean, the staff checked our covid certificates and immediately accommodated us in our rooms. Breakfast was included in our price, we were asked what we wanted to have (croissant, bread, coffee order and ham/cheese) the previous day. I want to believe it was due to corona restrictions that they did not include these on the breakfast buffet, because one thin slice of bread was not sufficient; although we got a second serving when we asked. The rooms were warm, clean and all in all, a very decent option for the otherwise ”overpriced” Zermatt.

We ve passed many Times this hotel on our endless trips to Zermatt (I think more than 10),and I ve always fancied staying here. The 1000 m spa, together with 3 pools, the warm water in their infinity pool, The organic spa and the scent in their relaxing area, made us book this hotel two Times in a row during a month. Just imagine:1000 meters of spa just for ourselves when we ve checked in early on our second trip, what a delight, I really start liking Zermatt more and more. Smile smile smile Thing is, June is a good month to visit Matterhorn, as the hotel prices are resonable, the weather is perfect for hiking, not so hot like in July or August, when you melt, and the streets are not crowded:yet. We ve booked '' Last minute'' with Booking(but i also advise to book the hotel site) , and our surprise was when we ve reached our room, a beautiful Apartment I could say, very bright, spacious, with New modern furniture(which is so seldom în Zermatt, but I prefer to the old mountain style-but it s a matters of taste) , room 337 (Double room Nordend-the room is on the New part of the hotel, Called Altiana) , which we ve booked on our second trip too(same room) .The closeness to the Train station, still on a quiet area made us appreciate this hotel even more. The room was sparkling clean(never seen anything like that, no trace of dust anywhere, maybe some polen on The balcony, but it s ok as it is a honig year'', the bed was a box spring, nothing spacial but very comfortable, new, and the hotel offers 5 star service like bathrobes, flippers, towels, and so on and even chocolate brought by a member of their stuff at the door at 5 o clock in the evening. Coffee machine and Coffee pads are offered too, together with 3 complementary bottles of water:what else. Check in is fast and their personal very friendly (they speak 5 languages, and they never say no to any demand from their guests:impressive. So was check out, no extra fee, not even the tax of sejour :wow! The breakfast room is huge, the food is delicious, plenty, they have many fresh local products, a cuisinier who cooks your omlette, they even have graines de lin and cotton cheese, and a lot of croissants and sortiments of fresh tasty bread. Again, their personal is there to make you feel like kings and queens, offering a 5 star service. There were two nice surprises is this hotel: 1.you can enter the Spa area, without booking the hotel, and the entry cost 70 chf per day 2,Their juice stop:a private room în The breakfast area where you can squeeze your fruits and make your own juice, never seen anything like this in any hotel so far. For me and French all was perfect, i cannot recommend this place enough, it is a good adress în Zermatt , actually the Best adress i know so far:Vispastrasse 52. We did not eat în The hotel, we ve chosed one of the nice st restaurants în Zermatt :Alex, a place that i ve discovered 5 years ago, on my first visit în Zermatt, when all i ve wished for came true, my first sn

It is still a bit far from Zermatt Railway Station, especially when it snows on the road, I will give up the box and walk to the hotel, because I don't know where to go when I go to the half of the navigation, and I will take a taxi directly to the train station! It seems that no one will check in after 7 pm. If you need an email, you will send the door password to enter by yourself, but you can also forward the email to contact Trip.com customer service. Breakfast is still good! The room is actually quite general!

A+ and 5 stars no questions asked. If I could move anywhere in the world it would be this hotel. The entire staff was like a family. Jaqueline was fantastic. She was extremely professional and friendly. She made this experience feel like no other. Sobi was also amazing. He picked us up and made the grass clean every day. His brother Attila was a gentlemen as well. Lukas was also great. He sold us on staying here I’ve the OMNI and other resorts. He was great. Marieke was outstanding and the staff was A++. The hotel was stunning. The view of the Matterhorn was of no other. We could see it from our balcony and bathtub. The attention to detail was incredible. My wife and I took mud baths in the spa. The spa was amazing. This place is special and made our time in Zermatt so special. Can’t wait to come back in winter!

The best hotel in Switzerland, the wooden house, the room is very large, there is a sofa, a coffee table, a refrigerator, which is equivalent to four stars in China. It is also OK to have a bed with a 5-year-old child. You can see the snow-capped mountains on the balcony with a recliner. Breakfast for children is free, and it is awesome. Many hotels in Switzerland are charged, which is very suitable for friends with children. A little distance from the train station, but the town is not big, it is just a walk, and the hotel is very close to the Matterhorn Museum. European breakfast is relatively simple, mainly bread, milk, fruit juice and so on. The picture is the Matterhorn to the river near the hotel.

Great hotel and friendly helpful staff. We booked the family room which had a separate room attached to our room with full bathroom for my son. So quite convenient. Overall the hotel has a lodge like feel situated in a beautiful ski town. Our room also had a balcony which overlooked the mountains. Very comfy bed and good thoughtful amenities. Breakfast was one of the best we had during our 8 day trip in Switzerland. Truly memorable trip. Would stay here again is I’m ever in Zermatt.

We stayed to Nights. The room we had was spacius (#212),nice bathroom with a bathtube/shower.Soap was provided aswell as towels, safe,tv. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet (7-10) had everything we needed,we liked that it had a coffeemachine fior self service.bread was good, croissants were sad(dry,no taste). Nice choice of fresh fruits, cheese,müsli, jam, ham etc. The price was totally ok. The beds were comfy,we pre- ordered second pillows, that was a good thing to do. Even though the hotel is close to the center,it was quiet and we hadgood nights of sleep. In the room there were some small details that can be re-done,for example a small drilling hole on the wall of the shower or some stains on the wardrobe.but nothing serious.

The owner of the store is very welcoming, the people are very good, the room is very clean, the breakfast is not suitable for the Chinese, most of them are bacon and omelettes, it feels like a small and refined hotel. Focus on the key! ! ! ! ! During the preliminary booking, we repeatedly confirmed whether Ctrip can bring two elderly children with five-year-old children. The answer is definitely no problem. As a result, when we arrived at the hotel in the evening, the boss refused us to stay on the spot and said that Ctrip’s agent informed the booking customer. With children, you can stay in a double room. In fact, you can only book a family room. Fortunately, Ctrip has a timely response to the communication and upgraded the room type to check in, but when you arrive at the store, the unpleasant experience is really bad!

There are many positives about this hotel, but one BIG negative. I rated the hotel 4, but it would have been 5 without the negative. First, the positives. The hotel is in an amazing central location in the Zermatt village. The hotel has a very nice alpine decor and a cozy feel. The breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. We ate in two of the restaurants, The Brown Cow Pub and Viviana, and both were very good. The spa is small but nice (although the whirlpool could be warmer), and we had excellent massages. Now for the big negative. The hotel has multiple night clubs and the live venue club, Pink, gets very loud. It also attracts a boisterous crowd that are drunk and noisy in the wee hours of the morning as they leave. I was on the third floor, and the noise was disruptive. Together, the band and the revelers, made it difficult to sleep. The club is right next to the front desk, and I had difficulty conversing with the attendant at the front desk during the band’s sound check — she too said that It was annoying. I have no problem with people who want to party, but I do have a problem when it disturbs me and prevents me from sleeping. I would definitely return if the hotel would solve the noise problem, and I might return anyway because of the many positives. However, if I did return, I would request a fourth-floor (top-floor) room.

I decided to come to the Kulm 3100 as a special treat while returning after 24 years for a visit from Canada. I had been to Zermatt a few times before in the 90’s when I had lived in Switzerland. This visit was beyond my expectations. It was a stunning, breathtaking experience. I paid the extra for a room with the view of the Matterhorn and glad I did. My room was a little small (normal for European standards), but modern and tastefully decorated. Each room was named after one of the mountains over 4000 meters in the area. A description and story of the dedicated mountain was posted in the room. Dinner and breakfast which was included in the price was beautifully presented and each course delicious. The waiter that served me was friendly and attentive. He went out of his way to give me a generous ice pack for my cooler of snacks on my departure. I awoke early in the morning to see the sun rising over the alps which was a breathtaking experience. Such peacefulness in the vast nature of the alps and the feeling of being on top of the world was truly magical. The newly built “Zoom” building which was nearby was an added treat which was included with the hotel. The virtual experience flying around the Matterhorn was epic. I was truly grateful and glad to have had this wonderful experience of a lifetime.

Traveled back to Zermatt, and to Hotel Julen to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. The Hotel was as charming in 2024 as it was in 1989! The room was wonderful with a beautiful view of the Matterhorn, and the front desk was extremely helpful as my husband got injured on the slopes and we needed special accommodations during our stay. We did the half board and the meals were outstanding. Breakfast included hot and cold items, and dinners had incredible choices. We never doubted our decision to stay in the hotel for dinners . We also enjoyed the spa - sauna and steam rooms were large and the pool was also great.

Great option in the very heart of Zermatt. We stayed there for 2 nights for the Zermatt Ultraks and the hotel is located just a few meters from the race start. Rooms are nice and functional and ours had a balcony with a great view on the Matterhorn. Host was super nice and flexible, we could e.g. Leave our luggage locked after checkout for later pickup. Rooms not facing the Matterhorn have apparently been just renovated with remaining rooms to follow soon.

Excellent Matterhorn view from the room. Christina, I guess the owner of the hotel with excellent service and hospitality. However, the breakfast restaurant crews were not at par on service. Sight some argument with the tour group for table sitting arrangement which was not handled well. The crews wee also not with expected service too. The 2nd day breakfast was finished at 8am and we were told that it will not be replenished and that it was for the day. The spread with some left overs and we were not being offered any other arrangement. This is not acceptable with breakfast package. End up we hv to prepare ourselves with our own food. Very disappointed with this.

Hotel Antika was exactly what we were looking for. Right in the middle of all the action in Zermatt, our room was clean and cozy and provided great views of the city from the balcony. We were lucky enough to get a top floor room, and while we had to carry our luggage up one flight because the elevator stops one floor before, we had a skylight in our room that gave us great views of the night sky. The free breakfast in the morning wasn't much to write home about, but it also was included in the cost of the room which was great to have that option. We were there on a hiking trip in the summer, so to be able to fuel up on-site and then get out on the trails was fantastic. Check in and check out was a breeze. And best of all, it was super affordable comparative to other Zermatt hotels. We'd definitely stay here again on a return trip
