View is what sold it here other than that for a 5star hotel it's more like a 3star pushing onto a 4 star the whole inside / reception & hallways really needs renovating they have holes in the carpets and some graffiti on the walls , the room I booked (Thames premier deluxe room) had an amazing view which is what made the room worth the money but interior was outdated also there was just holes in the ceiling / walls & the woodwork needed to be replaced even had a burn hole in the mattress this 5star hotel should be a 4star at maximum won't be visiting again until its been renovated
We went with a friend to the Windmill as she wanted to see an authentic English pub. The setting is amazing. Always a pleasure to go back. Good food, wine, beer, ciders. Love the picture of Prince Charles pouring a pint. Will probably hold my birthday party there as I have never been disappointed over the years.
I stayed at the hotel for one night on business. Something I do quite frequently, so feel like a bit of a hotel critic. Before arrival I read several negative reviews and was slightly apprehensive about my forthcoming experience. I was pleasantly surprised, the check in process was smooth and polite. The room was well appointed and clean. There is also good selection of food outlets for all pockets nearby. I could have picked fault if I was disgruntled enough to scrutinise the room with a magnifying glass and then post my findings and photographs in this review. But the cleanliness and amenities were good enough for a one night stay and I would recommend any business travellers to use the hotel. In conclusion, The Savoy it ain’t, but it also does not deserve the negative reviews I had read before arriving.
This is easily the best hotel for service and cleanliness that I’ve stayed at in London full stop. Every other hotel for under £300 a night should see what they do and copy it because they’ve got the whole process spot on. For its price point it is unrivalled. The customer service beats the more expensive hotels I’ve stayed at (even when they have a warm cookie on arrival, they can’t beat the overall feel of this hotel which is all down to the fact the staff care and take pride in their work and the hotel is spotless). Danny and his team are consistently helpful, polite, and clearly work as a team, caring about what their guests feel - this can be so hit and miss elsewhere but Danny’s teams get it spot on every time. We requested a hairdryer- it was delivered to our room within minutes and was fresh out the box. Kettles are also consistently brand new and clean, which can often be lacking in hotels. We’ve stayed 3-4 times and every room is perfect and and beds are very comfortable and the plentiful pillows have a combination of soft and firmer to keep everyone happy. The location is perfect - m&S fuel and food next door, wandsworth a 10-15 min easy walk for Wagamamma or Plant Organic, Primark etc. We prefer staying here to anywhere closer to where we are visiting simply because it is so reliable and comfortable and clean. The vegetarian sausages just need to be ordered verbally and the plant milk is also there at breakfast do ask if you can’t see jt. The free breakfast is also spot on. Hot croissants and muffins are popular. It isn’t a full English (no tomatoes etc) but what is done is done well. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly. They won’t let you down with your stay. I hope the HE chain recognise this team for doing their job so well. And every single member of the team who excel at their jobs. Thanks Holiday Inn Express Wandsworth

Ctrip set the wrong type of room, the twin room, the hotel said that they are a big bed room in the system, waiting for half an hour at the front desk, because the hotel did not have a twin room that night, stayed one night bed room the next day Changed a room, but it was not a double bed, but a big bed and a small bed. The hotel itself is very good, the front desk is very nice, when we go, because we don't know where the bus stop is directly carrying us the luggage to the bus stop. The breakfast is quite rich, although it is the same thing every day, but the choice is more, not even eating for 10 days. The location is a bit biased, very close to the station, but I really have to change the car when I go there, but also the timetable...

This is our second stay and we have always enjoyed the large suites in this hotel. We appreciate the fact that there is a separate living room with our bedroom, plus a small balcony giving us ample space. Be careful of the parking charges, as we thought we would be charged for very 24 hours (£40) but according to the concierge, this also depends on how many nights you stay. Hence we had to pay an extra days parking (even though there is free parking in the evenings nearby!) However all in all we did enjoy the hotel and will return again.
