I had to extend my stay in Tokyo due to Typhoon Hagabis, it was a struggle to find somewhere to stay, which is why I ended up here paying the same price for one night (21,000 yen) as for the following three nights combined! I arrived at 10am and staff stored my luggage. I could not go out, it was too dangerous in the storm, so I sat in the somewhat cheerless lounge, which has only a few places to sit, to wait for check in at 3pm. They let me have the room by 1pm, which was very welcome. It's a fairly basic hotel conveniently located less than a 5 minute walk from Akebonobashi subway station, 2 stops from Shinjuku main station. It's in a quiet small street with many shops and restaurants. Rooms are quite small, 2 single beds just about fills the room and there is nowhere to store luggage. It would be a big squeeze for two people with two suitcases. You get a kettle and a tiny fridge, but no spoon to stir your free tea with! Good sized TV, but only gets the 7 basic channels, nothing in English. Bathroom is also small but very adequate. Room is serviced daily. Beds are a little hard. Aircon is whisper quiet, and, unusually for a hotel room, main ceiling light is very bright. As usual in Japan, this is a very clean hotel. Free wifi was actually quite fast although it did drop out periodically. Not impressed with the buffet breakfast. Twice a week you get mild curry & rice, otherwise it's Miso soup, always hot. This is the best part of breakfast because the Western cooked food, sausage, powdered scrambled egg, breaded fish cakes and gooey cheese, is always tepid at best, and can be almost cold. Get to breakfast at opening time of 7am if you want it warm. There is also salad. They have a toaster! No fresh fruit or orange juice. Great coffee, and you can take an extra cup back to your room! Staff very helpful during my stay.

Located in Shinjuku near Kagurazaka. The room size is 80 sqm. 1 min from the station exit, very good transportation access to major towns. Pets and Wheel Chairs are Ok. My house is a traditional Japanese house with garden. You have full equipped kitchen with dish washer. You can also work as I have a writing desk;)

As an older hotel, the appearance of the gate has a sense of time, but it is not old, but it will be more attractive. The attitude of the hotel front desk may be the influence of Japanese culture. Every morning when you come out early and come back at night, it is a smile. Welcome, it is very comfortable. Inside the room, although the facilities are relatively old, the age, but the maintenance is in place, there will be no use problems, the room is also very clean, every day someone will clean, very comfortable, very assured. There are Matsuo Beef and 711 nearby, as well as the Yanqiao Subway Station (2 stops from Shinjuku). It is suitable for one or two people to stay together, affordable and clean (remember to go to the front desk every time you go out) The key is also very good looking, it is worth a visit (remember to say thank you every time!)

This is a great find in Tokyo and we stayed here for two weeks. The hotel is in a lovely district of Shinjuku-in a quiet suburban area with access to local restaurants and convenience shops and it’s about 15-20 minute walk away from the main bright lights of downtown Shinjuku. It is about a 5 minute walk to a subway station-Higashi-Shinjuku, with two lines running from this station that links you to the major tourist sites. Downtown Shinjuku is one or two subway stops away taking less than 5 minutes. The rooms are well appointed, our room was on the 3rd floor (303) and had a lounge area with TV, sink, kettle etc and then a seperate space for our bedroom and bathroom. The room even had a balcony. The bed was very comfortable. The rooms are not serviced everyday, but clean towels, toilet paper etc are available if you stay for more than 4/5 days. The rooms are a good size compared to other hotels in Tokyo-we call them bijoux. The local area has everything you need-as you come out of the hotel if you turn left there is a convenience store (Family Mart) and a laundrette (Wash). If you turn right and continue down the street the hotel is on, there are small restaurants and the best bakery in Tokyo. The bakery is open Tuesday to Saturday from 7.30 to 12.30pm and has gorgeous fresh sweet treats (western and Japanese) and savoury treats including baguettes as good as those you get in France. Less than 400 metres from the hotel is Shinjuku Eastside-there are two larger convenience stores and about 10 restaurants. We would not hesitate to stay here again

The hotel room looks renovated recently, it was a tatami room in the 14th floor, looks where very nice. From arrival there was no possibility to early check inn, even offered for parents with children we were very tired after a long flight and the front desk just said no early check in without not even making an effort to see if a room was available. Staff speak very little English. Biggest problem is the dirtiness, the room felt dusty from the first moment. On the first night my 5 months baby started sneezing frequently, we thought it was an allergy but after 3 days going on an about in Tokyo we realize she didn't sneeze outside, only in the room. I then inspected the room better, there was piles of dust in corners, behind beds, on top of TV and lamps, behind curtains, the carpet on the entrance was the worst. The bathroom was not clean also, there was mold growing in the bathtub joints with the wall and in the sink. The in-room refrigerator was also moldy. We then complained to the front desk and asked to deep clean (in Japanese and English), they cleaned the bathtub mold, and the air filter, but still there was hair and dust accumulating in the corners. I then complained to night staff manager and he offered a new room but he wanted to check, from my room I could hear the managers cleaning the next room, when they offered I then checked and showed that there was still parts with dust and mold, they cleaned a bit more and apologized saying that the room will be better cleaned next day. Deep cleaning never happened on the following days even we complained every day. One day they left us a vacuum in our room to clean ourselves (I took this as a mistake, but it was clearly for us to deal with the dirt). They offered breakfast tickets as compensation, we tried the breakfast one day and never came back, the breakfast was so bad that even as free I prefer to eat somewhere else. The manager has apologized by email and offered to return about 100$ of the cleaning fee (from a reservation we have paid more than 1000$), we have not yet seen the refund after 10 days. Good things, location is very good and Wifi is also good.

The epidemic in Tokyo is serious, so I took my children with me to go through the immigration procedures. Most hotels in Japan are small and small, because they have to take their children to quarantine for 14 days and have to stay for seven days, so I found this hotel and serviced apartment by thousands of people, and it did not disappoint. The kitchen equipment and tableware are all available in the room. Very suitable for long-term stay, great, the hotel staff is very good service attitude typical Japanese service. The hotel is located in a quiet area, only 10 minutes walk from Shinjuku Station, very convenient and only 5 minutes from the Royal Garden. There are five or six convenience stores around the hotel, and there is a large food supermarket in the opposite hutong. The variety is very good. It is highly recommended for everyone to use this hotel. I will definitely stay in Tokyo again in the future.

The place is new and taxi had a problem Locating the hotel. But it’s tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood in Shinjuku, about 15 mins walk from Takashimaya Shinjuku or 12 minutes walk from Isetan Shinjuku. There’s a 7-11 opposite the ryokan which makes it convenient. Room is small and Everything is good except that I booked a room with breakfast and wasn’t given the breakfast coupon/ ticket upon checkin and missed my breakfast on my first day due to this and had to call to ask for it to which the receptionist was rudely upset and asked why I never asked when I checked it, i never stay in this set up of an accommodation and usually in 5 star hotels, no voucher are needed- you just walk in and tell them your room number. I feel the tone of voice used towards a guest was wrong and it is unfair to talk in such tone when it’s their employee who made the mistake, however They were nice enough to offer lunch but I had an appointment and couldn’t make it, therefore breakfast paid was totally wasted - no refund of money was made. Therefore please make sure you asked for the breakfast ticket upon check in. I extended the check out time but was told the wrong amount for payment , but I could be due to the language barrier, room key expired at 11am and I had to go down to waste 20 minutes for new key which was another waste of time. For the price paid, HKD 2246 for 2 nights + JPY1000 - I am not sure with all the complication I will rebook which is a shame given the nice concept and ambience of the place. But for a onsen experience, you are encourage to try.

I stayed 6 nights and loved it. The hostel is very clean and modern and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. The facilities are great and I made so many friends here! The location is very close to Shinjuku Station and Shinjuku Sanchrome Stations and the hostel is very affordable (free breakfast and a free drink at the bar included). It is perfect for solo travellers because you make so many friends! Definitely would stay here again. お世話になりました。ありがとうございました。

Odaiba
If you loves omakase breakfast at Toyosu market, shopping at Venus Fort, Diver City, Aqua City, visiting the TeamLab Borderless and TeamLab Planets, and hot-spring at Ooedo Onsen, that's the perfect location. Even gives you quick access to Disney resort and Haneda Airport! Small rooms as usual but the one with twin double beds is excellent for parents with two young children. The only downside is no car-rental nearby.

Shinjuku
Check in was a breeze, efficient and high tech. Godzilla head is an interesting feature of the hotel (esp. for fans), and location is great, right in the middle of the happening area. room size is good, can even be bigger if the toilet is joined with the bathing area. can bring the 2 single beds together to form a large bed.

Suidobashi/Tokyo Dome
Their service is nothing short of excellent. They have staff who are fluent in English (and other languages as well, I suspect). Me and my friend came thinking that we would be staying in a Single Room with Extra Bed since that was what we booked as we attempted to be more economic. However, to our pleasant surprise, our room was upgraded to a much much bigger room for free. We are very thankful to the helpful staff for making our stay pleasant and extremely comfortable. The location is great as it in located somewhere in between Iidabashi and Suidobashi which is pretty much close to the geographical center of Tokyo. Head east you will be able to visit Akihabara and Asakusa quick. Head west, you will be able to hit Shinjuku, Harajuku, and Shibuya. The neighbourhood is fairly quiet and the Tokyo Dome is just a 10-15 minute stroll away. If I am coming back to visit Japan, this hotel will be a clear top choice for me. Haven't had the opportunity to have the breakfast at this hotel, but I will certainly try it out on my next stay here.

Shinjuku
Location is perfect, in the heart of shopping district Shinjuku. It's also walking distance from Shinjuku station. Economy double room is very small for two people. The plus point is the Airport Limousine Bus counter is just right at the hotel lobby and the hotel is one of the stop for the airport limousine. Overall is very good. Will come back here again if we travel to Tokyo.

Shinjuku
Great location. Nice places to eat all around. And a market with Sega machines and video games. Lots of convenience stores and cafes. 7 Eleven, Lawson, etc. We are vegetarian and found an authentic Indian restaurant on way to station from hotel. Hotel has shops and restaurants on Ground Floor (called 1F) ie. Family Mart - great for instant food packs etc VERY difficult to locate Reception/ Check-in Counter. Come to the THIRD Floor (3F) and you'll find it! Very secure. Use your hotel key in the lift to go up to your floor. Very small rooms at the hotel - Take one with TWO SINGLE BEDS - then bed size is very decent for 100 kilo women!! Rooms have TV, lots of ports to charge phones etc. Fridge. Electric kettle. Bathrobes. Slippers n shoe horn - See pictures... VERY LITTLE space for bags. Loos are amazing. Electronic pots etc. BEWARE - getting tub is very high - So buy a small ¥400 foldable footstool to step in and out - buy from shop called Daisu in underground passage to station. CARRY your own TEA (Chai) if you are used to it. Only green tea and coffee in room. No milk provided in the room either. So if you took the room with free breakfast, that's good - You can pick up milk and sugar sachets there. See instructions for coffee carefully. Its not simply a sachet. Water has to pass THROUGH it. Response to room service usually VERY prompt 5 restaurant choices for free breakfast (if you took that choice) of which 2 are American and can serve you vegetarian choices. See pictures attached for the Manhattan restaurant view! Very hearty breakfasts! 2 bottles of mineral water provided daily. All linen is changed daily, EXCEPT for bedding. Most staff understand English - else use Google Translate. If you choose to reach this hotel from the airport via Shinkansen, reach Shinjuku JR station, ask where the cab stand is, expect to pay approx ¥650. If you choose to walk with luggage, then take a 4-wheel medium sized suitcase each at the most. 2 choices - walk straight out of South Exit and cross road just once 10 minutes later. OR use the underground path for easier movement of luggage, and walk about 15-20 minutes (if with luggage) towards Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building - plus may have to climb one small flight of stairs in final stretch.
